Richard Krueger

Funeral service for Richard Krueger, 60, Bethel, will take place Aug. 12, 2 p.m., at the Strike Funeral Home Chapel in Isanti. Rev. Michael Sullivan will officiate.

Krueger died July 21, 2006 in the Florida Keys after battling lung cancer. He was born Jan. 18, 1946 to Herbert and Violet Krueger; married Bonnie Jones in 1966 and worked as a heavy equipment operator for the city of Minneapolis for 30 years.

A Vietnam veteran, Krueger is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Tammy Boehlke and her fiance Mark Foss; grandchildren Bayley and Shelby Boehlke, (Mikayla Foss) and by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a son, James.

Arrangements are by the Strike Funeral Home Isanti Chapel. Visitation is one hour prior to the memorial service Aug. 12.

Frances Marquardt

Funeral service for Frances Marquardt, 84, Blaine, took place Aug. 1 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Chuck Brambilla officiated.

Marquardt died July 29, 2006. She was born Oct. 4, 1921 in Swift County to Francis and Bessie Langan.

She is survived by her husband, Julius; children, David (Marcia) and Doug; grandchildren, Niki and Matthew; and sisters, Betty and Agnes.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Cindy Owens

Funeral service for Cindy Owens, 43, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 1 at Peace Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Nancy Bence officiated.

Owens died July 27, 2006. She was born Jan. 17, 1963 in Fargo and worked as a pharmacist.

She is survived by husband Jeff; daughter Jessica; parents Ernest and Mary Jensen; sister Judy (Craig) Pierson and brothers James and Eric Jensen.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Marcella Post

Funeral service for Marcella Post (Mathis) 82, Coon Rapids took place Aug. 2 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids.

Post died July 30, 2006 in Coon Rapids. She was born May 29, 1924 to Peter and Katherine Hinnenkamp in Melrose. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by husband Lawrence Post; sons Donald, Duane (Denise) and Dale (Nancy) Mathis; grandsons Robert and fiance Jacqueline, Dusty and Brady; sister Lorraine Primus; brother Eb (Helen) Hinnenkamp; Lawrence's children Daryl and Patricia Post, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by husband John Mathis and sister Florentine Lahr.

Internment was private; arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Nicholas Rogness

Funeral service for Nicholas Rogness, 24, Elk River, took place Aug. 7 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Grant Tanner officiated.

Rogness died suddenly Aug. 2, 2006 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids. He was born Oct. 3, 1981 to James Rogness and Candace Jane Schantzen and worked as a laborer for Kieffmeyer Concrete.

Formerly of Champlin, Rogness is survived by his mother Candace Schantzen; father JR (Betty) Rogness; sisters Dana Johnson and Stacy Rogness; brothers Kyle Rogness, Ronnie Bradford and Travis Rogness; grandmother Helen Schantzen and beloved girl friend Stephanie Roy.

Internment was at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Robert Saylor

Funeral service for Robert Saylor, 69, Blaine, took place Aug. 3 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Roger Stensaas officiated.

Saylor died July 29, 2006 in New Brighton. He was born Feb. 1, 1937 in Pottstown, Pa., to Charles and Martiel Saylor. He was a stock room supervisor for Onan Corporation.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Ronald (Michelle), Russell (Pamela) and Roger (Amy); grandchildren, Nicole, Marissa, Abby, Amanda, Kendra and Teagan; brothers, Charles Jr. and Richard (Gladys) Saylor; and sister, Elaine McLaughlin.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.

Brady Wallin

Funeral service for Brady Wallin, 19, Brooklyn Park, took place Aug. 4 at Peach Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Nancy Bence officiated.

Wallin died July 30, 2006 in Coon Rapids. He was born Feb. 6, 1987 to Marty Wallin and Jeanette Hibbin and was a student.

He is survived by his father Marty (Marie) Wallin; mother Jeanette (Dean) Hibben; brother Adam, step-siblings Dan (Carita) Hibben, Lisa (Ross) Clemens, Cassandra and Victoria VanVliet; grandparents Jean Martin and Nancy (Jerry) Wallin; aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends.

Internment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Richard Bennett

Funeral service for Richard Lee Bennett, 56, Ramsey, took place Aug. 14 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Richard Matthews officiated.

Bennett died Aug. 8, 2006. He was born Sept. 9, 1949 in Moorhead to John Herbert and Luella Lu (Ide) Bennett. He was purchasing manager at Thomas Engineering and was formerly with Federal Cartridge for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barb; daughter, Sarah Jean; father, John H. Bennett; sister, Julie (Doug) Dixon and Kathy Bennett; brother, Mike (Kim) Bennett; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death his mother, Luella I. Bennett.

Pallbearers were Randy Johnson, John Gendler, Chuck and Dick Morin, Jim Halling and Doug Wiegand.

Interment was at Oakland Cemetery, St. Paul. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Adeline Belair

Funeral service for Adeline Frances 'Fran' Belair, 83, Park Rapids, formerly of Dayton, took place Aug. 8 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Park Rapids. Rev. Dennis Wieland officiated.

Belair died Aug. 5, 2006 at Heritage Living Center, Park Rapids. She was born Dec. 4, 1922 in Todd Township, Hubbard County, to Eugene and Mary (Hensel) Neumayer.

She is survived by her husband, Bernie of Park Rapids; sons, Thomas (Shawna) of Blaine, Jayme (Patty) of Champlin and Joseph (Mila) of Elk River; sister, Leona Webb of Redding, Calif.; three grandchildren; two special nephews, Eugene and Paul Neumayer; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl, Vic, Vince and Louey Neumayer; and sisters, Clara Munro and Marie Goff.

Pallbearers were Tom, Jayme and Joe Belair, Eugene, Paul Marcus and Micheal Neumayer and Tom Keast.

Interment was at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Park Rapids. Arrangements were by the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home, Park Rapids.

Eldon Hansen

Funeral service for Eldon D. Hansen, 60, Anoka, took place Aug. 9 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Hansen died Aug. 6, 2006. He was born April 5, 1946 in Hampton, Iowa, to Ntels H. and Agnes K (Duus). Hansen was a senior quality manager at General Mills.

He is survived by his wife, Karalee; children, Kristen Hansen (John Laravuso), Sarah Hansen, Laura Hansen and Melody Hansen; and sister, Carole (George) Main.

Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Gerald Johnson

Funeral service for Gerald Loye Johnson, 66, Chisago City, formerly of Blaine, took place Aug. 14 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Dean Johnson officiated.

Johnson died Aug. 8, 2006 at Twin Cities Care Center, Anoka. He was born Feb. 1, 1940 in Graceville to Ralph Chester and Evelyn Audrey (Williams) Johnson. He was a truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Keith (Georgene) Johnson, Kevin (Janet) Johnson and Kimberly (Steve) Zaic; grandchildren, Michelle, Alex, Taylor, Lauren and Jack; brothers, Morrie and Glenn Johnson; and sister, Myrna Paulson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Leon Pease

Celebration of the life of Leon W. Pease, 85, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 14, 2006 at Coon Rapids United Methodist Church.

Pease died Aug. 11, 2006. He was born in Redwood Falls Dec. 19, 1921 to Ted and Leda Pease. He was a World War II veteran and spent most of his life working as a mechanical engineer as well as a construction and service supervisor for Johnson Controls.

He is survived by his wife Doris; children, Terry (Vi), Steven (Cathy), Mark (Becky), LeAnn and Jon (Nancy) living in the Twin Cities area and JoDee and Patti (Scott) in Hawaii; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and brothers Chuck (Merna) and Dave (Jan) Pease, both of Litchfield.

He was preceded by his son, Gene.
