Karen Ramacher
Funeral service for Karen E. Ramacher, 62, Oak Grove, took place Nov. 10, 2006 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Ramsey. Rev. Jeff Gustafson officiated.
She is survived by her children, Natalie, Troy (Tracy), Ryan (Nikki) Ramacher and Teresa Buchta; grandchildren, Dominic, Dante and Tre Ramacher; brother, Donald Thoreson; sister, Deb Springer; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fran.
Interment was at West Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Cheryl Russin
Funeral service for Cheryl Lynn Russin, 32, Fridley, took place Nov. 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Francis. Rev. J.R. Baumgarn officiated.
Russin died Nov. 12, 2006 at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 9, 1974 in Coon Rapids to Gordon W. and Edith L. (True) Cornelius.
She is survived by her husband, Brian; parents, Gordon and Edi Cornelius; brothers, Gordy (Michelle) Cornelius, Tim (Leea) Cornelius, Mike (Kim) Cornelius; sisters, Sandy (Brian) Callahan, Anita (Lalo) Cornelius Fuentes; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Auna Marie.
Pallbearers were Tim, Gordy, Jesse and Mike Cornelius and David and Jeff Huth.
Interment was at West Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Samuel Stewart
Memorial service for Samuel J. Stewart, 70, Ham Lake, took place Nov. 15 at Christ Lutheran Church, Blaine.
Stewart died Nov. 4, 2006. He was born Feb. 9, 1936 in Blair, Neb. He worked for Minnegasco, IDS, Carlson Co. and the Minnesota Energy Agency, where he became director of energy conservation, before starting his own energy and engineering business in 1978.
He is survived by his children, Steve (Anita) Stewart, Kathy Stewart, Lorie (Robert) Gibson; grandchildren, Andy (Brooke), Angella, Morgan, Joseph, Samuel and Ashley; and special friend, Carolyn Ellefson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Floyd Strube
Memorial service for Floyd Grant Strube, 92, Coon Rapids, formerly of Anoka, will take place Tuesday, Nov. 21, 11 a.m., at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Rev. Dennis L. Heiden officiated.
Strube died Nov. 10, 2006 at Park River Estates Care Center, Coon Rapids. He was born Feb. 27, 1914 in May Township, Cass County, to Grant and Ella (Pietz) Goplen. He was a retired sales manager for Coca Cola and served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, LaVone Weinberg; daughters, Monette Johnson (Dayton) of Coon Rapids and Mary Korbulic (Paul) of Rogue River, Ore.; grandchildren, Lisa Westman, (Kerry) Michael Johnson, Quinn (Heather) and Christopher Korbulic; and great-grandchildren, Sean, Ryan and Ian Westman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Orville and Norman Strube, Hilda Parkins and Agnes Barta.
Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Stephen Walters
Funeral service for Stephen Francis Walters, 61, Anoka, took place Nov. 13 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Chris Andersen officiated.
Walters died Nov. 9, 2006. He was born April 12, 1945 in Minneapolis to Guy Anthony and Eunice Opal (Hares) Walters. He was a pipefitter.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Jamie Johnson, Jessica Berg, Megan (Jason) Seneker and Caroline Walters; son, Lance; grandchildren, Amber, Garrett and Drew; sister, Mary Englund; brothers, Thad (JoAnn) and Nathan (Carol) Walters; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Eunice; sister, Doris Taylor; and brother, Guy Jr.

Minnie Garten
Funeral services for Minnie Helen Garten, 83, Prescott, Ariz., formerly of Blaine, Pequot Lakes, Champlin and Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 5 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Garten died Dec. 27, 2003 at the Margaret T. Morris Center in Prescott, Ariz. She was born April 5, 1920 in Dixon, Mo., to Thomas H. Wells and Mary A. Humphrey.
She is survived by her children, Sharen (Bob) Brandenburg of Coon Rapids, Susan (Bill) Watkin of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Kathy (Marv) Baehr of Long Prairie; grandchildren, Rob and Chuck (Theresa) Brandenburg, Jeanna and John Baehr, Mike and Levi Julik; great-grandson, Chase; sisters, Elizabeth of Texas, June of Missouri; brother, Art (Delores) of California; sisters-in-law, Alice, Fran, and Reba Wells; brother- and sister-in-law, Max and Ruth Garten; and nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; one sister; and five brothers.
Pallbearers were Levi and Mike Julik, John Baehr, and Chuck Brandenburg.
Interment was at Champlin Cemetery, Champlin. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Marco Guardado-Gomez
Funeral services for Marco O. Guardado-Gomez, 42, Anoka, took place Dec. 16, 2003 at All Saints Episcopal Church, Minneapolis. Rev. Dr. Claudia Windal officiated.
Guardado-Gomez died Dec. 9, 2003 in Minneapolis. He was born Feb. 14, 1961 in Chalchuapa, Santa Ana, El Salvador, to Ildefonso deJesus Gomez and Maria Luisa Guardado. He was a clerk in the food industry.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie; children, Donna, Martha and Marissa; parents; three brothers; one sister; and many relatives and friends.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Michael Guider
Funeral services for Michael E. Guider 'Uncle Mikey,' 57, Blaine, took place Jan. 5 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Harry Tasto officiated.
Guider died Jan. 1, 2004 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1946 in St. Paul to Daniel Guider and Emma Lieser. He was a bus driver for Hunts Bus Co. and coached the Blaine High School girls' JV hockey team.
He is survived by his wife, Michele; son, Steve; siblings, Rose (Gary) Juen, Dan (Joan), Jon (Bev), Jim (Koreen), and Pat; parents-in-law, Bob and Dolly Shoop; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Pam Anderson, Bob Shoop, David (Laurie) Shoop, Dan Shoop, Julie Shoop; and many nieces, nephews and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Emma.
Pallbearers were Danny, Paul and Greg Guider, Dennis Piekarski, Joe Juen, Rick Coleman, Bob Weber, Dave Scherer, Greg Mack and Rich Sawvagen. Honorary pallbearers were the Blaine girls' junior varsity and varsity hockey teams.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangement were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Beatrice Jones
Funeral services for Beatrice Marie Jones, 63, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 3 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Adrian Piotrowski officiated.
Jones died Jan. 1, 2004 at Mercy Hospital. She was born April 26, 1940 in Minneapolis to Alois L. Klicks and Beatrice M. Nagengast. She was an Anoka County social worker for 30 years and a member of the Coon Rapids American Legion.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph, Tom (Diane) Jones; daughter, Katy (Mike) Shieh; grandchildren, Ryan, Micah and Katya Jones, Brandon, Emily and Stephen Shieh; sisters, Patricia (Gary) Chancellor, Kathleen (Gerald) Alton, Rosemary (Gerald) Kline, and Margaret (James) Slepica; brothers, Lawrence (Barbara) Klick, Gerald Klick, Robert (Carol) Klick, Dennis (Bonnie) Klick; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Beatrice Klick.
Pallbearers were William Carreras, Daniel Chancellor, John, Ryan, Robert Jr., and Wade Klick, and Gerald Kline Jr.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
David Main
Funeral services for David B. Main, 62, Anoka, took place Jan. 5 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Main died Dec. 31, 2003 at the Anoka Care Center. He was born July 8, 1941 in Cedar to Earl A. and Mildred E. (Gardner) Main.
He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Renville of New Brighton, Wendy (Greg) Wraalstad of Ramsey; seven grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Mona) Main of Anoka, Eddie Main of Cedar, Lawrence Main of Duluth; sisters, Marilyn (Bob) Burman of Cedar, Dodie (Ed) Lindgren of Lake George; and Bev (Dick) Behrendt of Florida; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mildred Main.
Pallbearers were Eddie, Dennis and Earl Main, Branden Spratt, Mike Burley and Adam Renville.
Interment was at Oak Leaf Cemetery, Bethel. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Richard May
Funeral services for Richard John May, 54, Greenbush Township, near Princeton, formerly of St. Francis, took place Jan. 7 at Williams-Hanson-Kaun Funeral Home, Princeton.
May died Jan. 2, 2004. He was born Aug. 18, 1949 in Minneapolis to Lloyd and Irma (Bettinger) May, attended school in St. Francis, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn of Princeton; children, Lloyd and friend Kayla of Sauk Rapids, David and wife Marie of Zimmerman, Jamy of Norfolk, Va., Matthew of Princeton; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marilyn Wattis and husband Newt of New Jersey, Floyd and wife Jan of Rush City; Theresa Wolf and husband Roger of Deer River, Charlene Smith and husband Harlan of Emerald, Wis., Barbara May of Zimmerman, Nancy Wangner and husband Ron of Brooklyn Park, Rusty Ryan Read of Zimmerman, Dennis May and wife Tami of Burns Township, Darwin May of Foreston, and Daryl May of Ramsey; sister-in-law, Mary May of Burns Township; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, LeRoy and Myron.
