Roy Rouse Sr.

Memorial services for Roy Joseph Rouse, Sr., 73, Isanti, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place April 3 at Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel. Rev. Jose Edayadiyil officiated.

Rouse died March 30, 2004 at Cambridge Medical Center. He was born Dec. 19, 1930 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Roy James and Mary Angela Rouse. He served in the U.S. Navy. He and his wife, Peggy, owned an auto mechanic shop in Coon Rapids from 1970 to 1978 when they moved to Cibolo, Texas, where they owned and operated another shop.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; sons, Lorin Schwab and his wife Kathy of Zimmerman, David Schwab and his wife Donna of Linwood, LeRoy Rouse and his wife Mae of Converse, Texas, Roy Rouse Jr. of Lincoln, Neb., Michael Davis and his wife Juna of Houston, Texas; daughter, Mary Whiting and her husband Jerry of Omaha, Neb.; brothers, Ed, Tommy and Teddy; sisters, Lorraine, Judy and Gertie; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary; son, LeRoy James; sisters, Patricia and Rosie; and brother, Jerry.

Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.

Frank Sewald

Funeral services for Frank J. Sewald, 88, Blaine, took place April 2 at Church of St. Paul. Rev. Timothy Nolan officiated.

Sewald died March 28, 2004 in Blaine. He was born Nov. 29, 1915 in St. Paul. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; daughters, Carol Jean Johnson-Manske (Stan), Joanne Whipple (Gary); grandchildren, Larry Amundson, Joel and Robb Johnson, Jennifer Whipple and Ryan Whipple; great-granddaughter, Hope Amundson; and sister, Marie Sorrels.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta; and brothers, William and Roman Jr.

Pallbearers were Gary and Ryan Whipple Stan Manske, Larry Amundson, and Joel and Robb Johnson.

Interment was at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.

John Tracy

Memorial services for John Driver Tracy, 58, Ramsey, took place April 6 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Adrian Piotrowski officiated.

Tracy died April 1, 2004. He was born Sept. 5, 1945 in Carlsbad, N.M., to Francis Gallatin and Laura Elizabeth (Driver) Tracy. He was an animal nutritionist and president of Tracy Animal Nutrition.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; son, John Jr. (Amanda) of Burnsville; daughter, Vallie of Ramsey; sister, Mary Elizabeth Dresser (George) of College Station, Texas, Louise Tracy and Carlsbad; brothers, Francis G. III (Carrol) of Carlsbad, Charles (Corinne) of Houston, Texas; and many other relatives.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Wayne Christensen

Funeral services for Wayne Ihlen Christensen, 67, Champlin, took place April 1 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Liane Rock officiated.

Christensen died March 29, 2004 at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was born Nov. 10, 1936 in Minneapolis to Theodore and Mabel Christensen and was employed at Honeywell Avionics for 45 years. He was a former member of the Sno Barons Snowmobile Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lu; son, David (Tamera) Christensen; daughter, Kathy (Peter) Servaty; stepson, James (Deb) Lais; stepdaughter, Julie Lawler; and grandchildren, Calvin and Rachel Christensen, Laura, Lisa and Jason Servaty, Clifton Taylor, and Skyler and Trinity Lais.

Interment was at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka.

Rosemary Fields

Funeral services for Sister Rosemary Fields took place April 12 at Bethany Convent Chapel, St. Paul.

She died at Bethany Convent April 9, 2004. Her ministries included nursing, anesthesiology and pastoral care, working in hospitals in North Dakota and Minnesota.

She is survived by her sisters; brothers; nieces and nephews; caregivers; and the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Arrangements were by Willwerscheid Funeral Home and Cremation Service, St. Paul.

Seigfried Hoffman

Funeral services for Seigfried R. Hoffman, 82, Forest Lake, took place April 9 at Gearhart Funeral Chapel. Rev. Harry Tasto officiated.

Hoffman died April 5, 2004 in Forest Lake. He was born June 8, 1921 in Poland to Josef and Martha Hoffmann and was an electronics technician who developed parts for the space program. He was also the author of the autobiography, 'Meet Me On The Mountain.'

He is survived by his wife, Helen; sister, Brunhild; children, Brigitte, Eric and Vern; grandchildren, Robert (Tammy), Deanna, Shawn, Dana and Cory; and great-grandchildren, Challey, Brandon, Josh and Matt.

Pallbearers were Vern, Cory, Eric and Robert Hoffmann, Brigitte Douglas and Deanna Reshetar.

Interment was at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Neil McNeill

Funeral services for Neil Matthew McNeil, 90, Anoka, took place April 8 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Mike Van Sloun officiated.

McNeil died April 6, 2004 at the Anoka Care Center. He was born Dec. 3, 1913 in Duluth to Malcolm H. and Margaret (Chisholm) McNeil. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Anoka American Legion and VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Annette (Jeri) Oman and Carol (Quentin) Gmach; grandchildren, Danielle Crooks, David Oman, Rachelle Waldron and Heather Gmach; great-grandchildren, Derek and Nathan Waldron; and brothers, John and Alex McNeil.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph McNeil.

Pallbearers were Quentin Gmach, Dan Waldron, David Crooks, Jeri Oman, Marty Roach and Jim Moe.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Wallace Stadler

Memorial services for Wallace Anthony 'Wally' Stadler, 69, Blaine, took place April 12 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Stadler died April 8, 2004 at his home. He was born Feb. 3, 1935 in St. Paul.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; children, Theresa Lynn Johnson, Timothy John and Todd Wallace (Lisa); grandchildren, Sean, Brandon, Trent, Tiffani, Wyatt, Amber, Travis and Anthony; brother, Jim Stadler; and sister, Betty Stadler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jeanette; and brother, Clarence Jr.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Paul Trudeau

Funeral services for Paul Jean Trudeau, 54, Coon Rapids, took place April 8 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.

Trudeau died April 4, 2004 in Coon Rapids. He was born Nov. 12, 1949 in Putnam, Conn., to Jean and Jeannette Trudeau and was employed as a manager.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; children, John, Joyce, David and Paige; parents, Jean and Jeannette Trudeau; brothers, Thomas (Rose), Guy (Gail) and Peter Trudeau; and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Richard Burke, Joe Murphy, Tony Schermann, Joe Prenosil, Lou Dessellier and George Cusick.

Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Deloras Weidenhamer

Funeral services for Deloras J. Weidenhamer, 70, Ranier, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place April 12 at Sunset Funeral Chapel, Minneapolis.

Weidenhamer died April 6, 2004 at Falls Memorial Hospital, International Falls. She was born Aug. 2, 1933 in Minneapolis. She was a member of the Coon Rapids American Legion and the Lucky Loafers Clown Club of Coon Rapids.

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Teri) Weidenhamer of Blaine, David (Pam) Weidenhamer of Anoka; daughters, Barbara (Robert) Plasky of International Falls and Deborah (Skeeter) Bradow of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren Trevor and Tyler Plasky, Michael and Danielle Bradow, Jeremy (Stacy) Weidenhamer, Angela (Matt) Taylor, Christopher and Anneliese Weidenhamer; step-grandchildren, Mathew Gunderson, Mark and Luke Riddle; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Eric Taylor, Zachary, Anthony and Julia Weidenhamer; sister, Marcia (Art) Zimmerman of Lamoure, N.D.; brother, Herbert (Mary Alice) Johns of Sanger, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Inez (Lane) Johns; and husband, Harold D. Weidenhamer Jr.

Interment was at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Green-Larsen Mortuary, Inc.

Randolph Dvorak

Funeral services for Randolph C. Dvorak, 40, Ramsey, took place April 22 at Lord of Life Church, Ramsey.

Dvorak died April 18, 2004. He was born Feb. 20, 1964.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; children, James Lindstrom, Melanie, Nathan and Julianna Dvorak; parents, George and Geraldine Dvorak; uncle, John Dvorak; aunt, Mary Cathers; and many cousins, friends and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Virgil Cathers.

Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Dare's Funeral Home, Elk River.
