Gladys Prochazka

Funeral service for Gladys M. Prochazka, 76, Blaine, took place Oct. 8 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Jim Martin officiated.

Prochazka died Oct. 4, 2004 in Minneapolis. She was born Oct. 19, 1927 in Minneapolis to Henry and Gladys Jordet and was a retired waitress.

She is survived by William Prochazka; son, John; daughter, Caryn (Douglas) Karkhoff; grandchildren, Deena and Derek; brother, Henry Jordet; sisters, Delores Wicks and Etta McManus; special friend, JoAnn Hutchins; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Mike McManus, Bill and Dale Prochazka, Carl and Keith Wicks and Darek Karkhoff.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Eric Stene

Funeral service for Eric W. Stene, 33, St. Francis, took place Oct. 9 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Columbia Heights.

Stene died accidentally Sept. 29, 2004.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughters, Emilyayn and Riley; mother, Penny Baldwin (Kedric); father, John Stene (Cheryl); in-laws, Carolann and Al Kubsch; grandparents, Helen Ebert, Mary Stene, Robert and Maxine Baldwin; siblings, Lisa Stene, Nicole Baldwin, Brain Kubsch, David and Michelle Kubsch; aunts and uncles, Naeomi and Keith Ault, Jeff Stene, Pamela Burgess (David), Julie Roark (Thomas), Mary Ebert, Kathy and Brian Baldwin, Debbie Kirt; and nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Melba Selnycki; and grandfathers, William Ebert and Robert Stene.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Patricia Zornes

Funeral service for Patricia Ann Zornes, 62, Roseville, took place Oct. 6 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bill Steinke officiated.

Zornes died Oct. 1, 2004 in Coon Rapids. She was born Feb. 5, 1942 in Minneapolis to Lawrence and Margaret Townsend and was nursing assistant.

She is survived by her son, Todd Lindquist; and other relatives and friends.

Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Internment was at Fort Snelling. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Joyce Bell

Graveside service for Joyce M. Bell, 70, Anoka, took place Oct. 15 at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Rev. Norman Berg officiated.

Bell died Oct. 10, 2004 in Anoka. She was born May 8, 1934 in Early, Iowa, to Floyd Bell and Sophia E. Delbridge and was self-employed in a cleaning service.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.

John Enmark

Funeral service for John R. Enmark, 90, Newport, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Oct. 16 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Jim Martin officiated.

Enmark died Oct. 13, 2004 in Cottage Grove. He was born Nov. 10, 1913 in Erskine to Mauritz and Martha Enmark. He served as a medic in the 81st Infantry in World War II and worked in the manufacturing industry.

He is survived by his brother, Richard; stepdaughters, Darlene Schutz, Donna Makie, Debra Holland and Bonnie Matthews; grandchildren, Dawn Schutz, Darren (Jennifer) Schutz, Craig (Mary) Schutz, Danelle (Craig) Larson, Cheri (Matt) Kresel, Cory (Tammy) Schutz; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Delphine, Gladys and Pearl.

Pallbearers were Darren, Craig and Cory Schutz and Matt and Connor Kresel.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Velda Fogard

Funeral service for Velda Lorraine Mary Fogard, 71, East Bethel, took place Oct. 20 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church.

Fogard died Oct. 15, 2004 at her home. She was born June 22, 1933 in Emmetsburg, Iowa, to Stephen and Norma (Barnes) Koppie. She was retired from housekeeping at Mercy Hospital.

She is survived by her former husband, James; mother, Gloria (Gary) Lehn, Jessie (Bob) Garda, Vicki (Dave) Seekon, Connie (Steve) Hadden, Daniel Fogard and Billie Jo Fogard; 14 grandchildren; and brothers, Paul (Eve) Koppie and Dennis Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Koppie and Wayne Pickarski; and sister, Regina Zabawa.

Pallbearers were Anthony Lehn, James and Timothy Fogard, Thomas and Andrew Gerda and Matthew Hadden.

Interment was at Gethsemane Cemetery, Crystal. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Brenda Glatzmaier

Funeral service for Brenda M. Glatzmaier, 37, Eden Prairie, took place Oct. 15 at Peace Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Joel Quie officiated.

Glatzmaier died Oct. 11, 2004. She was born March 21, 1967 in Paynesville to Leland and Elaine Danielson. She was a project manager in the health care industry.

She is survived by her husband, John; parents, Leland and Elaine Danielson of Grove City; brothers, Larry Danielson of Paynesville and Bryan (Deb) Danielson of Eden Prairie; sister, Lori (Alan) May of Wentworth, S.D.; godchildren, Kendra Sommerfeld, Kayla Glatzmaier and Joseph Danielson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and uncle, Bud Sommerfeld.

Pallbearers were Dave Stone, Joel Lemke, Mike Bechtold, Dean Dinndorf, Mike Russell and Dave Vosejpka.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Willis Hall

Funeral service for Willis H. Hall, 77, Anoka, took place Oct. 16, 2004 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

He is survived by his wife, Arliss; children, Judy Crosbie (David), Alyce Thielen (Timm); granddaughter, Christine Hansen; stepchildren, Bruce (Micky) and Michael Dehn; stepgrandchildren, Rachel and Dylan; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores; and infant son, Bruce.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Don Kimball

Memorial service for Don Charles Kimball, 61, Anoka, took place Oct. 17 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Norman R. Berg officiated.

Kimball died Oct. 14, 2004 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Dec. 9, 1942 in Madison, Wis., to Aaron Victor and Mary Genevieve (Bloch) Kimball. He was a warranty-technical support person for Onan-Cummins Company.

He is survived by his children, Kris (Mike) Lazarz, Victor Kimball, Kelly (Brad) Skillicorn; grandchildren, Samantha, Travis, Courtney, Kristie, Carson and Anni; brother, Terry (Linda) Kimball; niece and nephew, Erika and Jon; special friend, Sharon Elmquist; and former wife, Beverly Kimball-Dick.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Allan Knutson

Funeral service for Allan 'Red' Knutson, 66, Crosslake, took place Oct. 16 at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Crosslake.

Knutson died Oct. 8, 2004 at Abbott-Northwestern Medical Center, Minneapolis.

Arrangements were by Brenny Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.

Lorraine Pearson

Funeral service for Lorraine A. Pearson, 80, Anoka, took place Oct. 21, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Anoka. Pastor Abe Cardosa presided.

Pearson was born June 22, 1924 in Anoka to Charles Schake and LouisaPines, married Warner Howard Pearson and was a homemaker. She died Oct. 16 in Coon Rapids.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Warner, daughter Sharon (Gene) Sonterre, son Randy (Vicki) Pearson, granchildren Michelle and Katie, great-grandchilden Hollie and Jonathon and by her sister Eve Hermanson.

Pearson was preceded in death by her grandson Todd.

Internment was at Forest Hills Cemetery in Anoka. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Anoka.

Dorothy Aanstad

Funeral service for Dorothy Leona Aanstad, 84, Wayzata, took place Oct. 25 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Timothy G. Johnson officiated.

Aanstad died Oct. 20, 2004 at Hillcrest Health Care Center, Wayzata. She was born March 11, 1920 in Ironton to Harry Pickens Dana and Elizabeth (Adams) Armstrong. She was a retired secretary at Rural Cooperative Power.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Hooper; nephews, Harry (Marty) Hooper and Dale (Judy) Hooper; nieces, Barbara (John) McCashin, Judy Hooper, Judy Raushenberg, Vicki Dorrell and Janet Kimberly; and many grand- and great-grand-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; and nephew, Steven Hooper.

Pallbearers were Harry, Anthony, Christopher and Dale Hooper, John McCashin and Michael Brandl.

Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
