Bradley Hennen
Funeral service for Bradley J. Hennen, 37, Coon Rapids, took place Oct. 25 at Church of St. Stephen, Anoka.
Hennen died Oct. 20, 2004. He graduated from Anoka High School in 1985.
He is survived by his parents, Lee and Verna; brothers, Anthony (Jodi) and Christopher (Joette); nieces, Emily and Abigail; and nephews, Kyler and Carson.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents; four uncles; and four cousins.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Helen Hintz
Helen J. Hintz, 69, New Hope, died Oct. 23, 2004 in New Hope. She was born Oct. 6, 1915 in St. Paul to Frank and Antonia Kinderman and was retired from 3M where she worked in assembly.
She is survived by her children, Diann (Tom) Commers, Michele (Gene) Benting, Carol (Jim) Stauber; stepson, Glenn (Elsie) Hintz; daughter-in-law, Allison Hintz; sisters-in-law, Joyce Morrell, Merle and Lenore Kinderman; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; son, Thomas; parents; six brothers; and three sisters.
Interment will be private at a later date. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Carol Holmstrom
Memorial service for Carol Holmstrom, 45, Champlin, will take place tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004), 2 p.m., at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; children, Danielle Lee McIntosh, Dean and Dale; brothers, Bill (Cynthia), Mark; sisters, Debbie (Mark) and Nicole; grandchildren, Emma and Andrew; and six nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Donley Hosna
Funeral service for Donley Jack Hosna, 73, Anoka, took place Oct. 26 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Timothy G. Johnson officiated.
Hosna died Oct. 20, 2004 at his home. He was born Feb. 23, 1931 in Adams, N.D., to John and Nora (Drevecky) Hosna. He was a music teacher in various school districts for 11 years and employed by Trestman Music since 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Hiroe; son, Dean (Patty); daughter, Kathleen (Kevin) Snell; grandchildren, Rebecca and Christine Hosna, Andrea (Matthew) Curtis and Nick Snell; and great-grandson, Tristen Sponsler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nora Hosna.
Pallbearers were Kevin and Nick Snell, Matthew Curtis, Robert Onuma, Ronald Thorvilson and Ordean Hosna.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Helen Hultquist
Memorial service for Helen S. Hultquist, 84, of Green Valley, Ariz., formerly of Anoka, took place Oct. 23 at Valley Presbyterian Church.
Hultquist died Oct. 20, 2004. She was born and raised in Richmond, Va. She served as president of her local PEO chapters and as the first president of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; sisters, Anne Madden of Virginia and Carolyn Armitage of North Carolina; children, Steve, Tim and Betsy; and grandchildren, Kirsten, Matthew and Andrew Hultquist and Nathan, Jenny and Dan Ollhoff.
James Liston
Funeral service for James R. Liston, 63, Wyoming, took place Oct. 27 at St. Patrick's of Cedar Catholic Church. Rev. Rick Banker officiated.
Liston died Oct. 23, 2004. He was born Jan. 16, 1941 in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Robert and Winifred Liston. He was a computer consultant and recently co-owned Culver's in Brooklyn Center.
He is survived by his wife, Maurine; children, Cindy Liston, Jim Jr. (Heather) and their children Kallie, Nichole and James Richard III; son, Chad (Heidi); mother, Winifred; sisters, Anne Marie (Kurt) Faxon, Debbie (Ted) Beer; brother, Bart (Barbara); mother-in-law, Doris Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Joe Mikre, David Glassman, Lonni Koster, Dale Halverson, Travis Rath and Chip Liston.
Interment was at Cedar Cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Constance Mark
Funeral service for Constance Hilton Mark, 82, Moline, Ill., took place Oct. 18 at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Rev. Fred Schmidt officiated.
Mark died Oct. 15, 2004 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island, Ill. She was born June 18, 1922 in Anoka to Harry B. and Tina (Serra) Hilton. She was employed by the former Moline Lutheran Hospital for 38 years as director of dietary services and then director of volunteer services before retiring.
She is survived by a cousin, Lois and John VanDervin of Milwaukee, Wis., and their children, Paula VanDervin, Beth Kissner and Scott VanDervin; niece, Dru Goren of Wynnewood, Pa.; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Mark.
Arrangements were by Trimble Funeral Home.
Michael Mindrum
Funeral service for Michael Warren Mindrum, 54, Champlin, took place Oct. 23 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Abe Cardosa officiated.
Mindrum died Oct. 19, 2004 at his home. He was born June 12, 1950 in Minneapolis to Warren Peter and Mildred Esther (Keniston) Mindrum and was a welder at Hoffman Engineering.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred (Marvin) Krone; brother, Paul (Barb Johnson) Mindrum; sister, Holly (Dean) Bjerga; stepmother, Marilyn (Lee) Neprude; niece and nephew, Sarah and Cody Mindrum; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren; and his grandparents.
Pallbearers were Kevin Holmbo, James Keniston, Sarah and Cody Mindrum, Grant Mitchell and Ben Larson.
Interment was at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Roger Nash
Graveside service for Roger Dennis Nash, 83, Plymouth, took place Oct. 25, 2004 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Nash drove bus for Twin City, Greyhound and Jefferson lines for many years.
He is survived by his daughters, Carol (Richard) Pearson of Coon Rapids, Joan (Donald) Marshall of Ramsey and Jerylyn Frantz of Ramsey; son, Dick (Charlotte) Nash of Oakes, N.D.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Ruth Lambert of Pine River; brother, Fred (Gloria) Nash of Hackensack; and sister, Gladys (Bill) Vattendahl of Longville.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Cecile Richards.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Vivian Sandford
Funeral service for I. Vivian Sandford, 87, of Coon Rapids, took place Oct. 22, 2004 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids.
She is survived by her children, Geraldine Bialka (Norbert), Judye Fitzgerald (Bob), Raymond Sheppard (Carol), Roland Sheppard (Lois) and Gloria Olander (Dean); son-in-law, Peter Chacos; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; brother, Roland LeFebvre (June); and sister, Elaine Kelly (Jim).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Lotti Lefebvre; brother, Hubert; sister, Ethel Zaccardi; infant son; and daughter, Marlene Chacos.
Interment was at St. Anthony Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Sadie Schroeder
Funeral service for Sadie Marie Schroeder, 97, Sleepy Eye, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Oct. 27 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye. Rev. Brian Oestreich officiated.
Schroeder died Oct. 24, 2004 at the Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye. She was born March 1, 1907 in Birchwood, Wis., to Albert and Ella (Kunze) Becker. She was a retired teacher.
She is survived by her children, Les and wife Dolores of New Ulm, Dennis and wife Pat of Coon Rapids, Ellen and husband Herb Blonigen of Sartell and Teresa Speakman-Schroeder of New Ulm; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great grandchildren; sister, Elnore Petersen of Marshall, brother and sister-in-law, John and Mae Schroeder; sisters-in-law, Annie Hengel of Sleepy Eye and Alice Becker of Coon Rapids; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert; brothers, Earl and Leslie Becker; an infant sister; daughter-in-law, Jane Schroeder; and a baby grandson.
Interment was at St. Pius X Cemetery, Zimmerman. Arrangements were by the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.
Eleanor Fuller
Private funeral service for Eleanor Fuller, 85, will take place.
Fuller died Oct. 30, 2004 in St. Cloud. She was an elementary teacher in the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 for many years, retiring in 1990. She was also a longtime member of of the Anoka Lioness and the Anoka County Fair Board.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Fran) Klabough of Ramsey, Gary (Nancy) Miller of Anoka, Nancy Sue (Tom) Barton of Antioch, Ill., and Denise (Neal) Fuller-Rowe of St. Cloud; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jess Miller and Fred Fuller.
Arrangements were by Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
