Jean Hann
Private family funeral service took place for Jean Hann, 86, Coon Rapids.
Hann died Oct. 29, 2004 at Innsbruck Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 20, 1917 in Wayland, Iowa. She was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital and for more than 20 years played piano at Sunday worship services at Camilia Rose Care Center, Coon Rapids.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Muir (Vyrn); sons, Robert Jr. (Kathy), James (Bonnie); grandchildren, Millie Muir, Vyrn III (Jenny), Amie Westberg (Murry), Marisa and Christopher Hann; sister, Lorraine Suter (Harry), Vaughn Rinner; nieces and nephews; and family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and grandson, Jamie Muir.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Mary Hubers
Funeral service for Mary Catherine (Cathy) Hubers, 60, Burns Township, took place Nov. 17 at Church of St. Patrick of Cedar Creek. Rev. Rick A. Banker officiated.
Hubers died Nov. 13, 2004 at her home in Burns Township. She was born Oct. 28, 1944 in Worthington to Clair Oneil and Dorothy Ann (Weyker) Hanson and was a beautician.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Tony, Kim Bryant, Debbie (Keith) Williams, Danny (LuAnn); grandchildren, Krystal, Nichole, Stephanie Ann, Paige, Parker, Colby and Jacob; father, Clair Hanson; sisters, Judy (Gary) Giving, Carolyn (Bob) Perry, Patti (John) Pearson; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearer was John Hubers.
Interment was at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Ronald Johnson
Funeral service for Ronald Johnson, 71, Brooklyn Center, took place Nov. 9 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. John R. Bucka officiated.
Johnson died Nov. 6, 2004. He was born May 7, 1933 in Eau Claire, Wis., and was an electrical engineer.
Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Irmgard Larson
Memorial service for Irmgard E. Larson, 80, Coon Rapids, took place Nov. 12 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Rev. David Turnidge officiated.
Larson died Nov. 5, 2004 at the DeMar Residence, Coon Rapids. She was born April 15, 1924 in Weisbaden, Germany, to Hermann and Elizabeth Fiedler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Mary Ramirez
Funeral service for Mary A. (Rangel) Ramirez, 69, Coon Rapids, took place Nov. 18 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids.
Ramirez died Nov. 15, 2004.
She is survived by her son, John; daughter-in-law, Cindy; grandchildren, Jennifer, Joseph, Joshua, Jamie, Jacob; brothers, Raymond, Frank, Lorenzo; sisters, Lupe, Carmen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosemary; and son, Steven.

Lyle Sutherland
Memorial service for Lyle Edward Sutherland, 67, Cedar, took place Nov. 11 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Liane S. Rock officiated.
Sutherland died Nov. 8, 2004 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1937 in Minneapolis to Victor Emmanuel and Evalyn Hattie (Lane) Sutherland and was an autobody repairman with the Win Stephens' dealership.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; children, Steven (Mary) Sutherland, Denise (Howard) Reed, Tammi (Greg) Wallskog, Cindy Morey, Dawn Moore, Rhonda (Austin 'Buck') Shannon, Todd Newell; 13 grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; mother, Evalyn Sutherland; brothers, Lloyd, Wayne (Rose); and sisters, Deloris (Ronnie) Collier, Darlene (Gordon) Scharping, Joyce (Andy) Griep.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karin; father, Victor; and brother, Ralph.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Paul Tyrrell
Funeral service for Paul C. Tyrrell, 82, Lino Lakes, took place Nov. 17 at Church of St. Paul, Ham Lake. Rev. Jon VanderPloeg officiated.
Tyrrell died Nov. 13, 2004 in Maplewood. He was born Jan. 31, 1922 in Chicago, Ill., to Glen and Helen Tyrrell and was a retired electronic engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; daughters, Barbara Ganz, Paula Daub, Kathleen Houchins and Pamela Tyrrell; son, David; grandchildren, Paul, Karen, James, Timothy, Milo, Paul, Aaron, Christopher, Andrew and Jesse; and great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Jillian, Sarah, Joseph and Rachael.
Interment was at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Ronald Walls
Funeral service for Ronald Wayne Walls, 65, Champlin, took place Nov. 18 at Living Word Christian Center.
Walls died Nov. 13, 2004 at his home in Champlin. He wa born Feb. 6, 1939 in Bartlesville, Okla., to William Sparks and Genevieve Dorothy (Price) Walls. He practiced law in Ely, where he also served as city attorney, co-authored the Dayton-Walls legislation for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in 1978, held judicial appointments in St. Louis County District Court and was co-owner of Walls and Walls federal court reporting firm.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Moberg Walls; sons, Andrew of Champlin, Peter of Blaine, Christopher (Sheila) of St. Paul; daughter, Jennie Ivezic (Steve) of Ely; mother, Genevieve Walls; brothers, Gregg (Vicki), Philip (Rachel), Richard (Sherri); sisters, Patty (Darden) Powers, Donna (Dean) Fitzgerald and Linda (Tim) Fields; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his his father, Dr. William Walls; and brothers, William, Larry and Hugh Walls.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Darwin Wilson
Memorial service for Darwin (Willie) James Wilson, 69, rural Oak Park, took place Nov. 8 at Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church, Oak Park.
Wilson died Nov. 5, 2004 at his home. He was born Nov. 18, 1934 in Wadena County. He served for six years as a Merchant Marine and was a farmer, truck driver, construction worker and pole barn builder. For a number of years he was the lead guide at the Huntersville horse trail rides.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean (Kreger) of Oak Park and her two children, Todd (Donna) of Milaca and Tracy of Willmar; mother, Grace (Hemphill) Wilson of Foley; brothers, Roger (Carol) of Elk Mounds, Wis., and David of Ronneby; former wife, Ruby (Sutton) of Anoka and their five daughters, Bobbi (Tony) of Cedar, Terri (Robert) Sykes of St. Andrews, Manitoba, Canada, Jerri (Paul) Perrin of Anoka, Patti (Jere) Jacobson of Blaine and Billi (Joshua) Mehrer of St. Francis; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred; and two infant children.
Shannon Hunt
Memorial service for Shannon D. Hunt, 36, Harrington, N.H., will take place tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 27, 2:30 p.m.), at Trott Book Gospel Hall, Ramsey. Memorial services also took place Nov. 22 in Wenham, Mass., and Nov. 23 in Greenland, Mass.
Hunt died Nov. 18, 2004 in Boston, Mass. She was born Jan. 26, 1968 in Faribault to Thomas C. Wright and Janice F. Keillor. She was a member of Seacoast Christian Home Educators Association and All About Moms.
She is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Nathaniel, Jordan, William and Lindsey; parents, Tom and Janice Wright; brother, Thomas C. Wright Jr.; sister, Karla Thomsen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at Trott Brook Cemetery, Ramsey. Arrangements are by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.
Ike Rhodes
Graveside service for Ike Rhodes, 68, Spooner, Wis., took place Nov. 19 at the Earl Cemetery, Earl, Wis. Lucy Basler officiated.
Rhodes died Nov. 14, 2004 at the Spooner Health System Hospice Center. He was born on Dec. 19, 1935 in Spooner to John and Maude (Hollis) Rhodes. He was employed as a meat cutter for 35 years, managing the Super Valu Store in Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his special friend, Marlis Stoner of Spooner; children, Jim (Kathy) Rhodes of Becker, Judy (Kenny) Spencer of Clearwater, Jeff (Bev) Rhodes of Clear Lake, and Brenda Rhodes of Minnesota; twin brother, Mike of Spooner; sisters, Donna (Bert) Thompson of Blaine and Carol Jenkins of Blaine; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; aunt, Ruth Hollis of Stanberry, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Dahl Funeral Home, Spooner.
Christine Stokes
Funeral service for Christine Mary Stokes, 19, Isanti, formerly of Anoka, took place Nov. 24 at Church of St. Paul. Rev. Jon Vander Ploeg officiated.
Stokes died Nov. 19, 2004 at Mercy Hospital from injuries she received in a car accident. She was born Aug. 27, 1985 in Coon Rapids to Donald Richard and Marie Lynn (Schaaf) Stokes. She was an optical assistant at Wal-Mart.
She is survived by her parents, Donald Jr. and Marie Stokes; siblings, Troy (Amber), Mickey (Cindy) Crystal (Kai) Hendrickson and Jessica Stokes; nephew, Cody; niece, Catelyn; grandparents, Donald Sr. and Mary Stokes; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shirley Hiljus and Gerald Schaaf.
Pallbearers were Ryan and Shawn Cox, Jessie Johnson, Marvin and Derrick Clark and Jerrod Olson.

Gerald Struckman
Memorial service for Gerald L. Struckman, 69, Coon Rapids, took place Nov. 20 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his companion, Jeri Hovanetz; sister, Shirley Lang (Art); brothers, Richard (Barbara), John (Joann); sons, Gary (Sheila), David (Debbie), Jim (Arlene) and Tom; and nine grandchildren.
