Raymond Dyson

Funeral service for Raymond Leroy Dyson, 70, Park Rapids, formerly of Isanti and Crown, took place Aug. 30 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Crown. Rev. Matthew Thompson officiated.

Dyson died Aug. 24, 2004 at his home. He was born April 25, 1934 in St. Cloud to Merton and Verna (Anderson) Dyson and was retired after 36 years with Federal Cartridge.

He is survived by his wife, Pat of Park Rapids; children, Ronald (Pam) Dyson of Brainerd, Gerald (Susan) Dyson of Pipe Creek, Texas, Paul (Lesia) Dyson of Becker and Pamela (Greg) Smith of Becker; stepchildren, Twyla (Randy) Hanson of Andover, Melody (Bob) Johnson of Park Rapids and Scott (Patty) Trester of Isanti; 22 grandchildren; brother, John (Judy) Dyson of Roseville; sisters, Norma (Peter) Peterson of Big Lake and Janice (Allan) Aust of Elk River; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and many foster families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lyle.

Pallbearers were grandsons Loren Smith, Brian, Randy and Scott Dyson, Dan and Gabe Johnson and Jason and Josh Trester. Honorary pallbearers were granddaughters Janie, Katie and Karen Smith, Misty Weddle, Megan and Amanda Dyson, Quinn Woodland, Daucy, Amy and Holly Hanson, and McCal Johnson.

Interment was at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, near Crown. Arrangements were by Jones-Pearson Funeral Home, Park Rapids.

Robin Dzandzara

Funeral service for Robin Dzandzara, 56, took place Aug. 31 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Dennis Zehren officiated.

Dzandzara died Aug. 27, 2004. She was born Nov. 26, 1947 in St. Cloud.

She is survived by her mother, Tudy; husband, Darrell; sons, Nick (Jill Rocheleau) and Dennis; daughter, Amy Rodine (Dennis); sisters, Sue Boerger and Kris Nelson (Randy); brothers, Charlie Boerger (Terri) and Bruce Boerger (Mary); grandchildren, Abby and Max Dzandzara; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Boerger.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Kayla Hanson

Funeral service for Kayla Rae Hanson, 16, East Bethel, took place Aug. 31 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cambridge. Rev. Martin Bentz officiated.

Hanson died Aug. 27, 2004 at Hennepin County Medical Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born June 1, 1988 in Coon Rapids to Dean and Rhonda (Coburn) Hanson. She was about to begin her junior year at St. Francis High School.

She is survived by her parents, Dean and Rhonda Hanson of East Bethel; sisters Heather Hanson of Isanti, Cari Hanson; brother, Cory Hanson; grandmothers, Pauline Hanson of Blackduck, Linda Kolu of Montrose; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents; grandfathers, Walter Kolu and Charis Hanson; and uncle Mark Zeller.

Active pallbearers were Jared, Jacob, Grant and Tyler Hanson, Zachary and Dustin Poxleitner. Honorary pallbearers were Paul and Travis Hanson, Chad Nelson, Kirby Zeller and Levi Poxleitner.

Interment was Langor Township Cemetery near Blackduck. Arrangements were by Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home, Cambridge.

Floyd Heath

Funeral service for Floyd Arthur Heath, 79, Anoka, took place Sept. 1 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Greg Schurter officiated.

Heath died Aug. 27, 2004 at Bethel Care Center, St. Paul. He was born July 8, 1925 in Snoqualmie Falls, Wash., to Fred Hetah and Alma Stordahl and was retired from Federal Hoffman after 33 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 and was a member of the Anoka American Legion.

He us survived by his wife, Bernadene; sons, Darrell (Sally), Dennis (Carol), Wayne (Val); daughter, Brenda (David) Lexcen; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister.

Pallbearers were Casy and Chad Martineau, Jake and Justic Heath, Brad Johnson, Scott Wolf, Erick Waynert and Ryan Lester.

Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home.

Barry Henrikson

Memorial service for Barry Paul Henrikson, 51, took place Aug. 27 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Duane Harmes officiated.

Henrikson died Aug. 23, 2004 at the University of Minnesota Hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1952 in Minneapolis to Lloyd and Brooks Henrikson.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracy; granddaughter, Alexi; mother, Brooks; and siblings, Terry, Cheri, Gary and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Dawn Hollenbeck

Funeral service for Dawn Kerrie (Thunstrom) Hollenbeck, 39, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 25 at North United Methodist Church, Minneapolis. Rev. Linda Koelman officiated.

Hollenbeck died Aug. 19, 2004 in Robbinsdale. She was born Sept. 1, 1965 in Robbinsdale and was a sales representative.

She is survived by her husband, Brian; son, Andrew; parents, James (Sue) and Darla Thunstrom; brothers, Troy (Jodie) and Todd (Kate); and relatives, co-workers and friends.

Interment was at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Carl Jaeger

Funeral service for Carl Eugene Jaeger, 69, St. Francis, took place Aug. 25 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Norman R. Berg officiated.

Jaeger died Aug. 18, 2004 at his home. He was born June 25, 1935 in Beatrice, Neb., to Otto Carl Jaeger and Edna M. Wandersee. He served in the Korean War and was a longtime employee of AT&T; in sales.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores; daughters, Jean (Jason) Stahlberg and Barbara (Michael) Campbell; granddaughters, Kelly, Niki, Tracy, Katie; and brother, Allan (Donna) Jaeger.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Interment was in Zion Lutheran Columbarium. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.

Margaret Mueller

Funeral service for Margaret Mueller, 90, took place Aug. 28 at Church of St. Timothy, Blaine. Revs. Anthony Criscitelli and Jerry Rogers officiated.

Mueller died Aug. 24, 2004 at Innsbruck Health Care Center, New Brighton. She was born June 16, 1914 in Jamestown, N.D.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Michael) Brenteson, Gerald (Sachiko) Mueller, Walter (Gloria) Mueller and David (Carol) Mueller; grandchildren, Richard (Heidi) Mueller, Shellie (Chad) England, Sarah (Billie) Gibbons, Susan Brenteson, Jay Brenteson, Tanya Mueller, Jeremy Mueller and Dustin Mueller; great-grandchildren, Leah and Jason England, Mason and Emily Gibbons; brother, Robert (Joyce) Sherman; sister-in-law, Ellen Sherman, Vicki Sherman and Maxine Mueller; and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jimmy; and Walter, her friend and partner in life.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Marion Ness

Funeral service for Marion Aleen Ness, 74, Plymouth, took place Sept. 1 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home. Rev. Jack Baumgarn officiated.

Ness died Aug. 28, 2004 in Plymouth. She was born April 9, 1930 in Grove City to Martin C. Evenson and Alma Torkelson and was a waitress.

She is survived by her sons, James (Tanya) and Neil (Lisa); daughter, Debra (Bennett) Wells; grandchildren, Gina, Stephanie (David), Derek, Amber, Sabrena, Jessica, Branden, Thomas, Matthew; and great-grandchildren, Jersey and Taevis.

Pallbearers were Neil, Jim and Branden Ness, David Beranek, Dennis Boudreau and Wayne Kantor.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.

Veronica Olstead

Funeral service for Veronica M. Olstead, 90, Fridley, took place Aug. 24 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.

Olstead died Aug. 21, 2004 at Unity Hospital. She was born Feb. 5, 1914 in Sanborn, N.D.

She is survived by her children, Art Olstead, Valerie Kmetz, Mary Ann Christenson; grandchildren, Alisa Keys, Benjamin Kmetz, Deanna Olstead and Elizabeth Kmetz; and great-grandchildren, Parker Lily Keys and 'Lopet.'

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Olstead.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Gayle Pettis

Funeral service for Gayle L. Pettis, 55, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 27 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids Chapel. Rev. Norman Berg officiated.

Pettis died Aug. 24, 2004 in Coon Rapids. She was born May 15, 1949 in Minneapolis to Marland and Muriel Pettis and was a LPN.

She is survived by her father, Marland (Karen) Pettis; sisters, Cheryl (Dave) Nelson, Toni (Bob) Bottemiller; brothers, Rich (Barb), Marland (Ellen), Steven and Craig; and nieces and nephews, Mike, Danielle, Dana, Jason, Rich, Bryant, Keith, Chelsie, Corle, Sean, Amanda, Makayla, Devon, Zach and Tommy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Muriel Elaine Pettis; nephew, Ryan Wayne Bottemiller; and sister, Cynthia Marie Pettis.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.
