Phyllis Dahlheimer

Funeral service for Phyllis Jean Dahlheimer, 77, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Dayton.

Dahlheimer was born Jan. 8, 1927 in Minneapolis to Edward and Frances (Grant) Durant.

She died on Sunday, September 19, 2004.

She is survived by daughters and sons, Paulette (Leslie) Orr of Anoka, Jo Ann Harris of Princeton, Dennis (Mary) Dahlheimer of Otsego, Colleen Todd of Elk River, Elizabeth Humphreys of Otsego, Gary (Lori) Dahlheimer of Blaine, Mary (Bart) Rossi of Anoka, Tim Dahlheimer of Elk River, Chris Dahlheimer of Elk River, Heidi (Bill) Vogelman of Oak Park, Jaimie (Dave) Swenson of Princeton, Dave (Val) Dahlheimer of Otsego; 29 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Yvonne (LeRoy) Bach of Dayton, Mary (Daryl) Bobendrier of St. Michael, Frances Bartlett of Zimmerman; brothers, Dale (Noreen) Durant of Rogers; sister-in-law, Lucy Durant of Dayton, Verla Durant of St. Michael; and brothers-in-law, Erwin (Gale) Dahlheimer of Elk River, Merlin Dahlheimer of Dayton, Douglas (Odilla) Dahlheimer of Alexandria and Maurice Dahlheimer of Anoka.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon; three brothers, two brothers-in-law; and five sisters-in-law.

Carl Gustafson

Graveside service for Carl Quinton Gustafson, 84, Ramsey, took place Sept. 30 at Champlin Cemetery. Rev. Carol Walvatne officiated.

Gustafson died Sept. 24, 2004 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1920 in Orin, Iowa, to Carl Quinton and Harriette Elizabeth (Asbury) Gustafson and was a retired sales representative at Northland Electric.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, David (Christa), Barbara (Charles) Pike, Patricia (Dean) Peterson, Mark (Sarah) and Ronald (LuAnn); 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.

Interment was at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Lynn Johnson

Funeral service for Lynn Marie Johnson, 55, Columbia Heights, took place Sept. 23 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.

Johnson died Sept. 19, 2004 in Columbia Heights. She was born March 19, 1949 in Minneapolis to Cliff and Carmen Goodwater. She was an occupational therapist assistant and was involved in the Boys Scouts of America, where she received the Silver Beaver Award, and the Coon Rapids VFW Auxiliary for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Shelley Albright (Jim); granddaughter, Alysha; mother, Carmen Chiodo; father, Cliff Goodwater (Lydia); brother, Richard Goodwater; sister, Kathy Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Paul Amundsen, Ron Hartse, Dan Hinrichs, Donald Chiodo and Gene Cooper. Honorary pallbearers were Les Wisnall and Danny Chiodo.

Interment was at Mornin-gside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.

Donald Kriesel

Memorial service for Donald V. Kriesel, 69, formerly of Zimmerman, will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church, Zimmerman, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3.

Kriesel died at his home in Lewisville, Texas, July 27, 2004. He was born April 20, 1935 in Baldwin Township to Walter Leonard and Ida Alice Lewis Kriesel. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and worked for Hoffman Engineering in Anoka for more than 20 years before retiring and moving to Texas.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy J. Kriesel; children (from his marriage to Marjorie Lou Reineccius), Kevin (Dorothy) Kriesel of Mascoutah, Ill., Kimberly (Michael) Campagna of Sonora, Calif., and Kari (Kriesel) Altema of Lakeville; his wife's children, Chris Hopper of Florida, Cathy Bateson of Michigan, Collette Malone of Louisiana, Caron Scott of Louisiana and Connie Joyce of California; brother, Lester Kriesel of Princeton; and numerous grandchildren; a great grandchild; nieces and nephews; and friends and relatives.

Anton LeTourneau

Funeral service for Anton Jerome LeTourneau, Blaine, took place Sept. 24 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Delroy Johnson officiated.

He was born and died Sept. 21, 2004 in Fridley.

He is survived by his mother, Jessie Sage; father, William LeTourneau; and grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.

Katharine Maciej

Funeral service for Katharine M. Maciej, 57, Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 22 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.

Maciej died Sept. 19, 2004 at her home. She was born Sept. 2, 1937 in Winona and was a longtime nurse at Mercy and Unity hospitals.

She is survived by her husband, Al; sons, Brian (Barbara), Daniel (Barbara), Michael (Ann); 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Marr Jo of Winona; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara K.; and brother, Edward Hoffman.

Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Myron Minor

Funeral service for Myron W. Minor, 76, Anoka, took place Sept. 28 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Deacon Dominic Ehrmantraut officiated.

Minor died Sept. 23, 2004 at North Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1928 in St. Cloud. He was a longtime coach in Anoka youth athletics.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; children, Brian (Becky), Patrick (Jill), Betsy Kurtz (Ron), Ruth Stroklund (Susan), Dennis Stroklund (Anita); Leslie Stroklund (Sherie), Mary Marotte (Greg); 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Harold Minor.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Art.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

George Nyquist

Funeral service for George Russell Nyquist, 82, Andover, took place Sept. 28 at Elim Baptist Church. Rev. Robert E. Brunko officiated.

Nyquist died Sept. 22, 2004 in Andover. He was born Oct. 12, 1921 in Minneapolis to George Elliott and Stella (Yerxa) Nyquist. He was a retired communications technician at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; sons, Samuel (Heidi) and Jonathan; grandchildren, Duke and Abigail; sister, Catherine (William) Campbell; brother, Richard (Frosty); sister-in-law, Audrey; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Meadows and Carol Conrow; and brothers, Kenneth, Keller and David.

Pallbearers were Diane, Jonathan, Samuel and Richard Nyquist.

Interment was at Dalbo Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Ann Tollefson

Funeral service for Ann Marie Tollefson, 60, Ramsey, took place Sept. 29 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Liane S. Rock officiated.

Tollefson died Sept. 23, 2004 at her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1943 in Willmar to Charles Alfred and Irene Orlando (Skare) Malbon and worked in the billing department at Federal Hoffman, Anoka.

She is survived by her husband, Darrel; son, David; daughter, Teresa Tollefson and Kari (Craig) Johnson; grandchildren, Jacob and Matthew Morse, Bryce Johnson; brothers, Ron and Bob (Sue) Malbon, ; sister, Sandra (Tom) Doucet; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
