Gale Arthur Beltz, 70, of 38 East Mill Road in Gibbon died Thursday, September 23, 1999 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon with burial in the church cemetery in Gibbon.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Sunday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon, and one hour
prior to the service at the church. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Pam Beltz of Brooklyn Park, Jackie and Danny Herschman of Las Vegas, Nev., Tammie and Brian Wise of Walker, and Sherrie and Randy Schwecke of Gibbon; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Jeri Beltz of Apple Valley, Mike and Jennifer Beltz of East Bethel; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Carol Beltz of Glencoe, Lowell and Delores Beltz of South St. Paul, Bob and Nita Beltz of Wichita, Kan., and Ron and Nancy Beltz of Chaska; step-mother Mickey Beltz of Glencoe.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Russell, Jim, and Warren Beltz.
He was born on March 14, 1929 in Glencoe to Lester and Matie (Schroeder) Beltz. He attended and graduated from Glencoe High School. He served as a corporal in the United States Army. He later moved to Gibbon and lived there for over 45 years, where he managed Goodman's Produce for a number of years and then owned and operated Gale's Apolstery where he recoverd furniture. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon.

Allan Wayne Zimmerman, 64 of Redwood Falls died Thursday, Sept.ember 23, 1999 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Redwood Falls.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his wife Elsie of Redwood Falls; daughter Lisa Doherty and husband Tracy of Urbandale, Iowa; son Thomas Zimmerman and wife Sherri of Windom; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Pauline Peterson of Minneapolis, Melvin (Pete) Zimmerman and wife Darlene of Minneota, Lois Keltner of Sauk Rapids, Elaine Schlenner and husband Alvin of Montevideo, Donald Zimmerman and wife Darlene of Red Wing, Gene Zimmerman and wife Leanne of Delano, Joyce Coulter of Maynard, Cheryl Cherryhomes and husband Chris of Minneapolis and Ruth Bergner of Maynard and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brohers Arlo, Harvey, Charles (Chet) and Bobby Zimmerman.
He was born March 22, 1935 in Dawson, to Thomas and Isabel (Kenyon) Zimmerman. He attended Maynard schools graduating from Maynard High School in 1953. He served in the Marines in Korea as a sharpshooter and was discharged in 1956. On Dec. 5, 1959 he was united in marriage to Elsie Harbo in Tracy. He operated Zimm's Gas station prior to becoming a meat cutter. They moved to Redwood Fallswhere he was a meat manager for 30 years first at Jerry's Fairway and then at Tersteeg's until 1997 when he went to work for Culligan. In 1999 he semi-retired and started driving school bus for Redwood Falls Schools. He was a member of the Church of Christ, active as an elder, serving as their chairman, deacon, a Sunday School teacher, a youth sponsor and for several years led a Bible study group. He was also a member of Promise Keepers. He had been coach for Little League and Pony League and assistant coach for VFW baseball.

Helen Engeswick Knudson, 94 of Winona, formerly of Lamberton, died Thursday, September 23, 1999 at the Sauer Memorial Home in Winona.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton with burial in the Old Westbrook Lutheran Cemetery in Westbrook.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-9 a.m. Tuesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Florence Ann Marso, 83, of Springfield, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Raph-ael's Catholic Church, Springfield, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield. There will be a St. Anne's C.C.W. Rosary at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield on Monday.
She is survived by her children Donald and Pearl Marso of Grand Junction, Colo., Marian and Robert Vogel of Footville, Wis., and Harry and Virginia Marso of St. Cloud; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her sisters-in-law Lillian Koch of Taunton, and Grace Koch of Porter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe in 1983 and brothers George and Charles.
She was born Dec. 25, 1915, in Canby to Harry and Elizabeth (Klein) Koch. She grew up and attended school in the Canby area, graduating from high school in 1935. She married Joseph Marso on Sept. 28, 1936 in Canby and they farmed near St. Leo following their marriage until 1942. They also farmed in Burr, Madison and Willow Lake, SD. The couple resided in Sleepy Eye before moving to Springfield in 1953. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and St. Anne's C.C.W. in Springfield.

Herbert 'Slim' Myrom, 85, of Redwood Falls, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and continue from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.
He is survived by two children Gary and Sally Myrom of Redwood Falls, and Jean Ramsel of Sterling, Colo.; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Russell and Mildred Myrom of San Marcos, Calif., and Allen and Wanda Myrom of Albert Lea.
He was preceded in death by a son Larry; a brother Carl; and a sister Mary.
He was born Sept. 17, 1999, in Fulton, Iowa to Casper and Emma (Elkins) Myrom. He moved with his family to Cambridge and attended Cambridge Schools graduating in 1932. He served as mechanic in the United States Army in North Africa and South Italy from June of 1942 to October of 1945.
He was married in 1958 and was later in divorced. He lived in Olivia a short time before moving to Redwood Falls in the late 1940's. He was an auto mechanic and shop foreman in Redwood Falls working for Tripp Oil Co. for 30 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion in Redwood Falls.

Helen Carlyle Knudson, 94, of Winona, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, in Winona.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton with burial at the Old Westbrook Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-9 a.m. Tuesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly and Gordon Samp of Shingle Springs, Calif., Carol and Duane Jackels of Winona, a step-daughter Mary and husband Burt Danielson of Hudson, Wis.; a step-son David Knudson of Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, husband Alfred; brother Ed Nichol and sisters Elva Crothers, Jessie Sawyer and Ella Baum.
She was born Sept. 30, 1904, in Redwood County, to Charles and Nellie (Willard) Nichols. She graduated from Lamberton High School and attended Normal Training. After receiving her teaching certificate she taught in rural schools in the Lamberton area. On Feb. 15, 1928 she married Raymond Engeswick, and they made their home in the Westbrook area for 34 years. After Raymond's death in 1962, she spent time with her daughters in Winona, Shingle Springs, Calif., and Mesa, Ariz. In 1966 she married Alfred Knudson in Jewell, Iowa, where the couple made their home. After Alfred's death in 1985 she moved to the Valley View Apartments in Lamberton. She was active in the Old Westbrook Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School there for many years. She was also involved in the 4-H Club and the Glad Garden Club.

Ronald 'Rollie' Pfaff, 56, of Fairfax, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident.
Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. from St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. and a rosary at 7 p.m. from St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax. Nelson Funeral Home of Redwood Falls is handling the arrangements.
He is survived by his mother Doris Wilson of Fairfax, three brothers, John and Sharalyn Pfaff of Rogers, Bruce and Colleen Pfaff of New Ulm, Terry Pfaff of St. Paul and two sisters Kathy and Gene Schroeder of Fairfax and Mary and John Steinbach of Redwood Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and three step-sisters Barbara and Arnold Johnson, Peggy and Tom Barrow and Nola and Rollie, all of Washington.
He was preceded in death by his father Raymond, step-father John Wilson and a niece Janis Schroeder.

Clara Lindeman, 86, of Stewart, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at the Glencoe Area Health Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stewart with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Hughes Funeral Home in Stewart and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.

Ernest Eyrich, 86, 1601 S. Payne St., died Tuesday, September 7, 1999, at Oak Hills Living Center, New Ulm.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at United Church of Christ, New Ulm, with burial the City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Firle Funeral Home, New Ulm, and one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by six nephews; 14 nieces; sister-in-law, Florence Eyrich of Pompano Beach, Fla., Alice Eyrich of St. Paul and Lenore Eyrich of New Ulm; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife; brothers, Earl, Ronald, Raymond, Lloyd and Loren; sisters, Lillian and Louise; and two nieces.
He was born Nov. 5, 1912, in New Ulm, to Ernst F.W. and Louise Wilhemina (Hoffman) Eyrich. He grew up in the Friedens Evangelical and Reformed Church, where his grandfather was an early pastor, and was currently a member of its successor, the United Church of Christ, where he served on a number of committees. He played sports at New Ulm High School. He was a member of Riverside Ramblers baseball team in the 1930s. He married Laura Hauenstein on Sept. 9, 1939 in New Ulm. He worked with his father in the Eyrich Plumbing and Heating business, which he later owned and operated with his brothers Lloyd and Loren, until retiring in 1983. He was also involved in several other businesses, including HEW, Inc., Forest Hills Corp. and Hauenstein's Brewery, which was started by his wife's family. He was first vice president of New Ulm Savings and Loan and past member of New Ulm Public Utilities Commission. Memorials are suggested to the Brown County Humane Society.

Lucy Prax, 91, of West St. Paul, formerly of Fairfax, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999 at United Hospital, St. Paul.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Church of St. Joseph, Seminole and Butler, West St. Paul, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at West Funeral Home, 1051 S. Robert at Arion, West St. Paul, with a rosary at 7 p.m.,; and continues 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
She is survived by her children and in-laws, Lorraine and Louis Schade, Lawrence and Beverly Prax, Alice and Norman Paul, Arnold and Carol Prax, Arlene and James Pitzl, LuElla and Richard Eggenberger, Leora and Richard Becker, Lenora and Robert Tuerk, Lavonna and Edward McCumber, Alan and Kay Prax, Arylia and Randy Sailor, LaVerne and David Webber, Lynn and Don Schallenkamp and Alana and Arlyn Osberg; 33 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis, in 1973; and sisters and brothers.

Fallon Rae Hansen, 16, of Lucan, died Saturday, Sept., 25, 1999, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Lucan, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Lucan, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Kulow Funeral Service, Echo, is in charge of arrangements.
