Edda Way, 84, of Wabasso, died Friday, June 18, 1999 at the Valley View Manor in Lamberton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls with burial in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. The Nelson Funeral Home of Redwood Falls is handling the arrangements.
She is survived by a son, Robert and wife Lynndene of Alexandria; daughters, Donna Painter and husband Raymond of New Munich and Patty Bukowksi of Cottonwood; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Ellefson of Sartell and Clara Davis of Redwood Falls; and brothers; Samuel Kruger of California and Theodore L. Kruger and wife Rosemary of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Way, three brothers and one sister.
She was born March 26, 1915 in Staples, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Mochoff) Kruger. She moved with her family to the Redwood Falls area during her youth and attended Redwood Falls schools. She married Loren Way on Nov. 20, 1939 in Redwood Falls. They farmed in Redwood County, retiring in 1972. After retirement the couple moved to Wabasso. Loren died on Dec. 7, 1990. She entered the Valley View Manor on May 21, 1999.

Jeanette L. Hudson, 38, of Gibbon died Thursday, June 17, 1999 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral service is 7:30 p.m.Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon with her cremated remains to be scattered in Hawaii at a later date.
Visitation is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon.
She is survived by her sons, Johnathan Hudson, Christopher Rollinson, and Matthew Rollinson, all of Gibbon; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Phil Benson of San Diego, Calif.; and boyfriend, Todd Brede of Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was born Sept. 12, 1960, in Melbourne, Australia to Harold and Beatrice (Abreu) Hudson. She later lived with her parents in Hawaii for a number of years before moving to El Cajon, Calif. In 1992 she moved to Gibbon. She worked at Hutchinson Technology for the last seven years.

Evelyn 'Evie' Lindmeier, 81, of Springfield, died Saturday, June 19, 1999 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at funeral home and a St. Anne's CCW rosary at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Lorenzo Lindmeier of Springfield; sons, Gary and wife Sandee Lindmeier of North Mankato, Kenneth and wife Charlotte Lindmeier of Washington, Iowa; Wayne and wife Julie Lindmeier of Lake Crystal, Roger Lindmeier of Avoca, and Dale and wife Barb Lindmeier of Springfield; daughter, Linda Treml of North Mankato; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Edward Primus of New Hope, John Primus of Michigan; sisters, Sister Ida Marie Primus O.S.B. of Stewart, Ellen and husband Jerry Voigt of St. Cloud, Alice and husband Leander Hahn of Savage, Leona and husband Wally Roden of St. Cloud, and Anna and husband Lenny Proell of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Sean Lindmeier; brothers, Jerome, Robert, Clarence, Joseph and Charles Primus; and sisters, Theresia Meier, Frances Smoot and Emily Primus.
She was born on June 8, 1918 in St. Cloud to Joseph and Ida (Gummerum) Primus. On June 6, 1939 she married Lorenzo Lindmeier at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. They lived in St. Cloud and then moved to Springfield in 1954. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and C.C.W. She had been a member of a 500 Club, a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Bowling League. She worked at Merv's Bakery, the Gun Club and Home Cafe and cleaned for many others in the community.

Beverly Flohrs, 67, of rural Ormsby, died Friday, June 18, 1999 at Fairmont Community Hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Galena Township, rural Ormsby with burial following in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Oren Flohrs, of rural Ormsby, son Steven and wife Connie of rural Ormsby, daughter Sheryl and husband Greg Hanefeld of Windom, and son Kent and wife Michelle of rural Trimont; eight grandchildren, her mother Leone Ogren of Trimont, sisters, Arlys and husband, Dr. James Persson of Chicago, Ill., and Shirley Schurtz of White Bear Lake; brother, Carl Ogren and wife Janice of Gibbon; sister-in-law, Alice Coleman of Birmingham, Ala.; brothers and sisters-in-law, LeRoy and Nell Flohrs of Truman and Stanley and Hazel Flohrs of Trimont and many nieces and nephews, cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emil Ogren; brother Duane Ogren, and brother and a sister-in-law, Leonard and Maxine Flohrs.
She was born on June 21, 1931 to Emil and Leone (Tourtellott) Ogren at Chesterton, Ind.. She moved with her family to the Ormsby-Trimont area when she was two years old. She graduated from Trimont High School in 1949. She was chosen Trimont's Centennial Queen for the 50-year celebration of the towns of Triumph and Monterey. She was employed at Farmers State Bank in Monterey and later was a dental assistant in Fairmont. On May 11, 1951, she married Oren Flohrs at First Lutheran Church in Trimont. They lived at Camp Rucker, Ala., for two years. In 1953, they returned to the Ormsby-Trimont area and farmed. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Galena Township, Ladies Aid, Mothers Club and choir. She taught Sunday School Teacher and served as a 4-H leader.

Jess Jones, 54 of Norman, Okla., and formerly of Redwood Falls died Monday, June 21, 1999 in Redwood Falls.
Services are 1:30 Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Redwood Falls with burial in the Redwood Falls cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Wednesday one hour prior to service at the church.
He is survived by his wife Karen of Norman, Okla.; children and spouses, Susan and David Zaske of Renville, Steven and Johann of Noble, Okla.; Sherry of Redwood Falls and Sarah and Mile Skinner of Killeen, Texas; six grandchildren; brothers and their wives Larry and Donna of Martensville, Ind.; David of Indianapolis; sister Betty and her husband Ed Breeden of Indianapolis; and mother-in-law, Gladys Bailey of Redwood Falls.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, two brothers and three sisters in infancy.
Jess Herbert Jones, Jr. was born March 20, 1945 in Indianapolis, Ind., to Jess and Dorothy (Graham) Jones, Sr. He resided with his family in Indianapolis where he attended schools. He entered the military and served in Korea and Germany. On Nov. 27, 1964, he married Karen Bailey in West Germany. They resided in Germany; Redwood Falls; Fort Bragg, N.C.; Okinawa, Japan; Fort Riley, Kan.; Fort Hood, Texas; and returned to Redwood Falls. In 1986 when they moved to Norman, Okla. In 1997 he retired from the military, Army Reserve. He worked as an insurance sales and pastor of a non-denominational church.

Alvin Runck, 85, of Springfield, died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Springfield United Methodist Church with burial in Springfield City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and continue one hour before services Thursday at the church.
He is survived by wife Alpha Runck of Springfield; children, Joan and husband Ken Schultz of Spicer, Robert and wife Glenda Runck of Springfield, Mary and husband Joe Jansky of Clear Lake; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Harold and wife Marguerite Runck of New Ulm; and sister Phyllis and husband Arley Rolloff of New Ulm.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William and wife Nora, Roy and wife Lillian, Ervin and wife Agnetta; sister Minnie and husband Bert Timm.
He was born June 25, 1913 in North Star Township, Brown County, to Phillip and Bertha (Kosel) Runck. He attended District 83 Country School in North Star Township and Springfield High School. He married Alpha Rongstad on Sept. 25, 1935 in Redwood Falls. They farmed until 1994 when they moved to Springfield. He was a member of the Springfield United Methodist Church and the District 83 School Board.

Herbert C. Saunders, 70, of rural Odin, died Sunday, June 20, 199, at Fairmont Community Hospital.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.
He is survived by wife Ardis Saunders of rural Odin; sons, Keith Saunders and friend Gloria of rural Odin, Mark Saunders and wife Jill of rural Odin, Paul Saunders of rural Butterfield, Doug of rural Odin; six grandchildren; brothers Merle and wife Mildred Saunders of New Brighton, Butch Saunders of rural Odin, Robert and wife Libby Saunders of Green Bay, Wis.; sisters Doris (Sandy) and husband Art Lambert of Arcadia, Calif., Glenna Shanley of Sun City West, Ariz., Mary Anne and husband Dr. Alan Fried of Livingston Manor, N.Y., Norma and husband Robert Brolsma of rural Sherburn; brother-in-law Lee Eng and wife Georgia of rural St. James; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Hershel, Delmar and Errol Saunders.
He was born Dec. 9, 1928 to Onis and Anna (Anderson) Saunders on the family farm in Emmet County, Iowa. He attended schools in Ringstad, Estherville and Dolliver where he was a 1947 graduate. On March 29, 1952 he married Argis Eng at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin. They farmed in Odin Township. He also did custom silo filling . He was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church where he served on various church boards.

Lester C. Stark, age 65, of Winthrop, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at his residence in Winthrop.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bismarck Township, Sibley County, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop; and continues one hour before services Thursday at the church. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Stark of Winthrop; daughter Carol Guenther and her husband, Douglas of Lafayette; grandchildren, Courtney and Cody Guenther of Lafayette; brother, Leonard Stark of Winthrop; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Hilmar and Delores Leske of Winthrop; two nephews, two great-nieces and nephews; and cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his: parents; sisters, Ethel Miller and Delores Stark; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Wendland.
He was born on Jan. 20, 1934, in Bismarck Township, Sibley County to William and Susanna (Baumgarten) Stark. He attended country school in Bismarck Township and school in Winthrop. He married Edna Wendland on Sept. 25, 1958, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Penn Township, McLeod County. They lived in Winthrop. He was a farmer. He was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bismarck Township, where he served on the church council and cemetery board.

Ella Windhorn, 100, of 1016 S. Minnesota St., New Ulm, died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan.
Orient Chapter No. 60 Order of the Eastern Star Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation is noon until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include niece, Claire and her husband Leo Berg of New Ulm; great-nieces, Elizabeth Cooper and her husband Keith of New Ulm, Patricia Osborne and her husband Ken of St. Cloud, and Barbara Appleby and her husband Bill of Maplewood; sisters-in-law, Sophie Windhorn, Hazel and Eleanor Peuser, all of New Ulm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Windhorn in 1979; brothers, Louis, George, Curt, and Hugo Peuser; and sister, Alice Meinhardt.
She was born Feb. 13, 1899, in New Ulm, to George and Barbara (Lindmeyer) Peuser. She attended Holy Trinity School. She married Louis Windhorn on Oct. 24, 1921 at St. Mary's parish house. Her husband was in the neon sign business in New Ulm for many years. Later the couple was active in the importing business. She became a resident of Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan earlier this year. She was a lifelong member of Eastern Star and Turner Hall.

Naomi Cashatt, 86, died Monday, June 21, 1999 at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton, Iowa.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sanborn United Methodist Church, Sanborn, with burial in the city cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield and will continue Saturday one hour prior to services at the church.
She is survived by her husband Don; sons, Dayrle and wife Bonnie of Sanford, Fla. and Robert of Parkersburg, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister Edith and husband Harold Huffman of Eddyville, Iowa; and brother Basil and wife LaVera Foster of Eddyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Delores; brother, Hughie; and sister, Vera Smith.
She was born Aug. 21, 1912 near Eddyville, Iowa to David Wesley and Mary Minerva (Belzer) Foster. She attended high school at Eddyville. She taught country school. She married Donvon Cashatt on Nov. 29, 1930 in Montezuma, Iowa. After marriage she continued to teach near Parkersburg and Aplington, Iowa. During World War II she worked at a defense plant in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In the early 1950s the couple made their home in Sanborn, while Don worked for the railroad. They built a cottage near McGregor. After retirement they wintered in southern Texas. In 1996 they moved to Parkersburg. In April 1999, she became a resident of Dumont Care Center. She was a member of Sanborn United Methodist Church, a member of Magnolia Chapter 167 of the Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of the New Ulm Gem and Mineral Club.
