Rose M. Domeier, 87 of Leavenworth Township, Brown County, died Tuesday, May 44, 199, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. There will be a Christian Mothers rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 6 p.m., at the funeral home on Friday.
She is survived by son Vernard J. and wife LaDonna Domeier of Sleepy Eye; grandsons, Donald, Dale, Vernard Jr., Dean, Douglas, Delwin, Daniel; granddaughters, Dawn, Donna, Darla, Deanne; sister-in-law, Rose Fischer of Sleepy Eye; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerhardt; brothers, Alfred and Clement; sisters, Clara Jones and Elizabeth Kral.
She was born June 19, 1911 in Stark Township, Brown County, to Joseph and Mary (Bruckbauer) Fischer. She attended country school. On May 20, 1930 she married Gerhardt Domeier at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. The couple started a dairy farm in Milford Township, later moving to a farm in Stark Township which was owned by her grandfather, Andrew Bruckbauer. In 1939 the couple made their home in the current family farm which is in Leavenworth Township. After Gerhardt died in a farming accident in 1975, she continued farming with her grandson Dean and wife Sandy. She was a cook at the Orchid Inn and area nursing homes. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the CCW.

Roy B. Jaster, 58 of Gaylord died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at Hutchinson Community Hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord with burial in the Gaylord Municipal Cemetery including full military honors by the Gaylord Manthey-Asmus American Legion Post 433.
Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Friday at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.
He is survived by wife Ruby Jaster of Gaylord; sons, Roger Jaster, Robert Jaster, Lavern Jaster, all of Gaylord; daughter, Linda and husband Brian Trunou of Kasota; sister, Leone Kern of Lester Prairie; and mother, Myrtle Jaster of Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lavern Jaster.
He was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Buffalo Lake to Lavern and Myrtle Jaster. He married Ruby Hass on Nov. 9, 1967 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mountville in rural Gaylord. H worked for Eastside Ford for 15 years, also the City of Gaylord and Lens Service in Gaylord.

Mary Heiling, 91 of Redwood Falls died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at Sunwood Care Center in Redwood Falls.
Services are Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine Church in Redwood with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 5:30-8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at St. Catherine's Church.
Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls handled arrangements.
She is survived by children and their spouses Paul and Gerry of Clara City, Gene and Sharon of Redwood Falls, Hugo Jr and Shirley of Redwood Falls, Dolly and Bob Bell of Zimmerman, Mary Ann and Jim johanneck of Belevue, Wash., Gerald and Marlene of Austin, Texas, Gary and Sharon of Lake Shore, Mike and Val of Pine Island, Mark and special friend Terrie of Lakeville; 37 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983; eight brothers; two sisters; and one grandson.
She was born Oct. 20, 1907 in Clements to Joseph and Mary (Prokosch) Walter. She attended country school. On Nov. 15, 1927 she married Hugo Heiling at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clements. They farmed near Morgan and Redwood Falls. She was an active member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church of Redwood Falls. Following her husband's death she moved into Redwood Falls.

Audrey Pettis, 67, 415 S. Payne St., New Ulm died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, and 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm. A parish prayer service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband Lowell "Babe" Pettis of New Ulm; daughters, Mary Ross and her husband Don of Kalispell, Mont., Ann Donabauer and her husband Gary of St. joseph, Ruth Griebenow and her husband Dave of North Mankato, Jean Pettis and her friend Jack Berry of Cross Lake, Kim Schlinger and her husband Darwin of Mora, Rachel Bode and her husband Troy of New Ulm; sons, Thomas Pettis and his wife Heidi of Brainerd, Jerome Pettis and his friend Kris Ness of Richfield; 11 grandchildren; brother, George Gobler and his wife Dereane of Eau Claire, Wis.; sister Joanne Krause and her husband Phil of Madison, Wis.l; mother-in-law Elsie Pettis of Altoona, Wis.; brother-in-law Newell Pettis and his wife Lillian of Altoona, Wis.; nieces and nephews.
She was born Aug. 13, 1931 in Eau Claire, Wis. to Les and Ruth (Boyle) Gobler. She attended St. Patrick's Catholic School. She attended Eau Claire Teachers College. She later worked for Kraft Foods in Eau Claire and Wausau. She married Lowell "Babe" Pettis on Sept. 24, 1955 in Eau Claire. The couple moved to New Ulm later that year. In New Ulm, she had worked for Dannheim's Dairy and Minnesota Valley Testing Laboratory. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the St. Ruth Guild, and St. Benedictine Chapter of Eau Claire.

Donald Nelson, 81 of Lamberton died Thursday, May 6, 1999 at Valley View Manor in Lamberton.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Lamberton with burial in the Lamberton Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today and one hour before services at the church. Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Donna and James Evans; son Timothy Nelson and special friend Antoinette White, all of Lamberton. nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Gordy Nelson of Yuma, Ariz.; sister-in-law Marge Nelson of Carlsbad, Calif.
He was preceded in death by wife Gertrude; son Michael; brother John.
He was born Aug. 15, 1917 in Minneapolis to John "Harold" and Clara (Peterson) Nelson. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He married Geraldine Heacox in Minneapolis on Sept. 21, 1940, and they moved to California. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1945 and served three years in Japan. He returned to Minneapolis and worked for Butler Brothers, moving to Lamberton in 1951 and purchasing the Variety Store, which he ran until 1962. He moved to Rapid City and later to Minneapolis working at the Holiday Store until retiring in 1981. He moved to Duck Lake near Park Rapids, returning to Lamberton in 1987. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Andrew Peterson American Legion Post 41, Lamberton Commercial Club, the Lamberton Volunteer Fire Department, and he drove bus for Lamberton schools.

Lula E. Willemssen, 94 of St. James died Wednesday, May 5, 1999 at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James with burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements are through Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.
She is survived by daughters Madelyn Schlomann of Fairmont, Evelyn Newman of St. James, and Lavonne Radenbaugh of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law Roy Newman of St. James; sister Gladys Rhinesmith of Indianapolis, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers; seven sisters; sons-in-law Roy Schlomann, Roland "Bud" Radenbaugh.
She was born June 26, 1904 in Lake Benton to Christian and Anna (Norp) Johnson. She grew up in rural Diamond Lake, Lincoln County and attended country school there. She married Ben A. Willemssen in Mankato on Sept. 23, 1926 and they lived in St. James. He died in 19744. She entered Pleasant View Care Center in 1993. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church

Carl P. Schultz, 81, of Madelia, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 1999, at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm, with burial in the Basey Cemetery, rural Winnebago.
Visitation starts at 8:30 a.m Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Donna Schultz of rural St James, Leslie and Debbie Schulz of Greeley, Colo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry Blekestad of rural Hanska; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Lund of Cedar, Clara and her husband Vern Voss of Ogilvee, Evelyn and her husband Bob Smith of Cedar; brothers, Floyd and his wife Annie Schultz of New Richland, Carrol and his wife Marie Schultz of Andover, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Darlene Schultz; sisters, Ida Turnbull, and Izora Hoeft; one brother, Charles "Bud" Schultz.
He was born Nov. 7, 1917, In Newton Township, Winnebago County, lowa, to Charles and Amelia (Peterson) Schulz. He married Darlene Emery on July 11, 1942, in Fairmont, and they were divorced. He served in active duty for the United States Army from August 25, 1942, to January 17, 1944, during World War II. He farmed in rural Scarville, lowa, until he retired and moved to Mankato and later Madelia He entered Luther Memorial Home in Madella in February.

Evelyn Bernloehr, 88, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at Staples Care Center.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at La Salle Lutheran Church, with burial in the city cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 8-11 a.m. Monday at Pease Funeral Home, St. James and will continue Monday one hour prior to services at the church.
She is survived by daughters, De Loris Jessop and husband Delvan of Waite Park, Judith Vee of Duluth; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; brother Tommy Shellum of Fenton, Mich.; sisters, Inga Forseth and Esther Sedam, both of St. James, and Ruth Joyce of Audabon, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, two grandchildren; three brothers and one sister.
She was born Dec. 12, 1910 in rural St. James to Hans and Randine Shellum. She attended rural schools in Brown County. She married Rupert Vee on Oct. 5, 1929 in Hanska. They lived in La Salle, where they operated Vee's Cafe for many years. Rupert died in 1978. She married Henry Bernloehr on Sept. 12, 1981 in rural St. James. They lived on a farm near Godahl until Henry's death in 1986, when she moved to St. James. In recent years she lived at Mary Carry Home in Duluth, Long Prairie Memorial Home and Staples Care Center. She was a former member of Albion Lutheran Church and was a member of La Salle Lutheran Church.

Melvin Sellner, 74, died Saturday, May 1, 1999 at North Memorial Hospital, Minneapolis.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary;s Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-9 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. There will be a Catholic Aid rosary at 4 p.m. and parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife Ruth of Sleepy Eye; children, Eric and wife Nina of Owatonna, Shawn and wife Marsha of Sleepy Eye, Paul and fiancee Chris Murphy of Fremont, Wis., Susan and husband Alan "Whitey" Hinderman of Fairfax and Brooke Sellner of Sleepy Eye; granddaughter Sarah Hinderman; sisters, Myra and husband Jim Pruitt of Hemet, Calif. and Odelia Stockstead of Clear Lake, Calif.; a cousin Marvin Sellner.
He was preceded in death by father-in-law Leo Krueger; and brother-in-law James Stockstead.
He was born March 11, 1925 in Mulligan Township, Brown County, to Ludewig and Mary (Kraus) Sellner. He lived on the home place and farmed all his life. He married Ruth Krueger on June 23, 1980 in New Ulm. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Aid and the Eagles.
Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls is in charge of arrangements.

Eva L. Meschke, 94, of Faribault, died Monday, May 3, 1999 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault
Services are 2:30 p.m. Monday at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, with burial in the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation begins at noon Monday at the funeral home.
She is survived by children and their spouses, Eileen and Donald Genheimer of Lindstrom, David and Betty Meschke of Littleton, Colo., and Melvin and Marian Meschke of New Ulm; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and sister, Flora Brown of Dodge Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; one great-granddaughter, Keren-Happuch Genheimer; sister, Florence Sorensen; and brother, Lee Fullerton.
She was born Dec. 29, 1904, to B.F. and Rebecca Jane (Soule) Fullerton in Warsaw Township, Rice County. She was a licensed practical nurse. She married Loren E. Meschke on June 3, 1924 in Morristown. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1996. They farmed together for many years in the Morristown and Warsaw areas. They moved to Texas and lived there for several years before returning to the Faribault area. She taught Sunday school and Bible classes.She became a resident of Pleasant Manor 13 years ago.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
