Rose Domeier, 87, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999 at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. There will be a Christian Mothers rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Goldie Gilland, 92, of Redwood Falls, died Sunday, May 2, 1999 at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, rural Redwood Falls.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Service, Redwood Falls and 1-2 p.m.Friday at the church.
She is survived by her children, Michael and wife Charlene of Redwood Falls, Dean and wife Nancy of Arlington Heights, Ill. and Sharon Swanlund and husband Dick of Bothell Washington; grandchildren, Holly, Mark, Wendy, Rob, Krissy, Dean and Cheryl; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mike; sisters, Claire Anderson, Floy Clark and Edna Smith; brothers, Ka and Glenn; grandson Todd; and granddaughter Wanda.
She was born Dec. 17, 1906 in Vesta to Harvey and Ava (Quillen) Harris. She attended Vesta Elementary and Redwood Falls Schools, graduating from Redwood Falls High School in 1926. She graduated from Winona State University in 1930 with a degree in teaching. She taught school five years in Redwood County. She married M.C. (Mike) Gilland on Sept. 23, 1933 in Nashua, Iowa. They lived in Jackson, Minn. until 1936 where they owned and operated a cafe in the Ashley Hotel. In 1936 they moved to a farm in Brookville Township near Morgan, where they lived until 1946, when they moved to a farm near Redwood Falls. Mike died Nov. 15, 1980. She continued to live on the farm. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Orville Weber, 75, died Sunday, May 2, 1999.
Services will be Thursday in De Soto.
He is survived by his wife Alma; son Ronald; granddaughter Hailey; grandson Ryan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Irene of Sanborn, Lester and Madalyn of Winthrop and Marvin and Viola of Jeffers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Don Hellickson of Sanborn, Eugene and Nita Schmidt of New Ulm and Paul Wendland of Jeffers; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, Alfred, Lawrence and Margaret and Edwin and Edna; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Elsie and Rudolf Krause, Leona and Otto Wendland and Irwin and Malinda Wendland.
He was born April 8, 1924 in Sanborn to Paul and Bertha (Bier) Weber.

Randal P. Kloeckl, 46, Route 1 Hanska died Friday, May 7,1999 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles with burial in the church cemetery in rural Searles.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 - 10 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley
Funeral Home in New Ulm. The St. Johns Catholic Aid Society of Searles will pray the Rosary 6:30 pm, with a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. both Sunday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Kloeckl of Hanska; mother and step-father, Marcella and Alphonse Goblirsch of New Ulm; daughter, Tarisa Kloeckl of Hanska; sons, Ryan and Steven Kloeckl both of Hanska; one grandaughter, Emma Marie Tauer; a grandmother, Emma Dietl of Lafayette; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Patrick Liebl of Arlington; brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Joy Kloeckl of New Ulm.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1972; grandfather, Conrad Dietl in 1989.
He was born June 5, 1952 in New Ulm to Frank Jr. and Marcella (Dietl) Kloeckl. He graduated from the New Ulm Public High School in 1970. He married Connie Bushard on April 27, 1974 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. After their marriage they lived on the family farm near Hanska where he farmed for 20 years. He also worked part time at the New Ulm Pastoral Center as a grounds keeper. He was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles and the St. Johns Catholic Aid Society in Searles.

Elayne M. Dickmeyer, 69, of St. Peter died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at Karrington Cottages, Mankato.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Franklin. Memorials may be given to hospice. Burial will be is the St. John's Cemetery, Fairfax.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra and her husband Magnuson, of Dalton, two grandchildren: Lane Magnuson and wife, Lisa of St. Peter, and Candace Magnuson of Dalton; one sister, Shirley Krider of St. Peter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney in 1990.
She was born Feb. 21, 1930 at St. Peter, to Isidore J. and Bernetha (Leverson) Gravelle. She married C. Rodney Dickmeyer on March 5, 1948 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Peter.
She was a graduate of St. Peter High School. After their marriage, Elayne and Rodney moved to Franklin where they farmed for 40 years until Rodney's death. She continued living in Franklin until 1997 when she moved to St. Peter.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Franklin where she was a Sunday School teacher, and a Wednesday school teacher. She was also active in the PTA and a long time member of Homemaker's Extension Club in Franklin.

Clifford Buboltz, 74, of Fairfax, died Thursday, May 6, 1999 in his home in Fairfax.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John's Church in Fairfax, with burial in the church cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the Fairfax Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-11:30 a.m. on Monday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, of Fairfax; son, James Buboltz of Fairfax; daughters, Elaine Grosklags and husband Arvid of Fairfax; Susan Bailey and her husband, Terry of Sarona, Wis.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Buboltz and wife, Phyllis of Fairfax; Sister, Ruth Black of Fairfax; brothers-in-law, Elmer Kiecker and wife, Sophia of Fairfax and Delford Kiecker and wife, Agnes of Fairfax; sisters-in-law, Delores Haus and her husband, Dwane of Arlington, Dorothy Wendlandt and husband, Kenneth of Hutchinson and Marian Wendlandt of Brownton; nieces, nephews and friends.
He was born Feb. 25, 1925, in Cairo Township, Renville County the son of Fred and Marie (Balau) Buboltz. He married Lorraine Kiecker Dec. 21, 1945 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Wellington Township, Renville County. He was a farmer for three years. He also worked for Hinderman Contracting as a construction worker for two years and with Fahey and Skolberg as a tiler for several years. He worked for the Village of Fairfax for 23 years until retirement.
He was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax.

Francis J. Phillips, 76, of Lafayette died Thursday, May 6, at the Good Samaritan Center, Lafayette.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Lafayette with burial in the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday beginning 3:05 p.m. at the Lake Crystal Mortuary in Lake Crystal. Visitation will continue on Monday one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his wife Nellie of Lafayette; step-daughter Georgia Rehbein and husband Richard Reed of Hanska; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; four sisters Viola Kramer and husband Clarence of Algona, IA, Alice Becker of Bancroft, IA, Arlene Otto of Manterville, Cecelia Mittlestad, Kasson; one sister-in-law Flossie Moon of Lake Crystal, many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Hilda Sawyer, 3 brothers Gene, Ray, and an infant brother, great-granddaughter and several nephews and nieces.
He was born Nov. 1, 1922 in Owatonna to Nicolas and Catherine (Kyser) Phillips. He grew up in Rose Creek, outside of Owatonna. During the war he worked at various jobs in Owatonna area and in Iowa. He married Nellie E. (Church) Rehbein on Sept. 29, 1951 at the Episcopal Church in Owatonna. They resided in Owatonna for a few years, then lived in Lake Crystal, Carrie IL, Meridan, Mankato and Mapleton working at various jobs. They moved to the Twin Cities, where Francis worked for Control Data from 1968-1986. After his retirement from Control Data, they moved back to Lake Crystal. In 1997, they moved to Amberfield Apartments in Lafayette. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Lafayette.

Jennifer Dororthy Elaine Quiram of Jeffers, died Sunday, May 2, 1999 at the Redwood Falls Hospital.
She was born Sunday, May 2, 1999 at the Redwood Falls Hospital to Albert and Sherry Quiram.
She is survived by her parents, Albert and Sherry Quiram of Jeffers, brother Albert Jerald Herman Quiram of Jeffers; paternal grandfather-Wilbert Quiram of Lamberton; maternal grandparents-Scott and Sharon Spaulding of Bingham Lake, William and Sherry Davis of Lakefield, maternal great grandmother-Evangeline Davis of Waterloo, Iowa; uncles and aunts.
She was preceded in death by a sister in infancy-Shawna Marie Matson and paternal grandmother Mildred Quiram.

Lisa Ahlness, 38, of Springfield, died May 7, 1999 at the Springfield Medical Center in Springfield.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield, with burial in the Springfield City Cemetery, Springfield.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m Monday and 7:30-9 a.m. Tuesday at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield. Visitation will continue at St. John's Lutheran Church one hour prior to service.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Ahlness, of Springfield; sons Colin and Cory Ahlness, of Springfield; parents Robert and Eulalia Schablin of Springfield; a brother Timothy Schablin of St. Cloud, and parents-in-law Elton and Nadine Ahlness of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Tony and Eva Schnobrich, and maternal grandparents Art and Hazel Schablin.
She was born Jan. 21, 1961 to Robert and Eulalia (Schnobrich) Schablin. She moved with her family to Springfield in 1965, attending and graduating from Springfield High School in 1979. She was a former member of the Girl Scouts and the High School bowling league.
She marreied Bruce Alhness on June 20, 1981 at St. Raphaels' Church, Springfield.
She was a current member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the WELCA. She worked in the dietery department at St. John's Lutheran Home for 18 years, joining dietery staff at Brown County Law Enforcement Center in 1997.

Madge Day, 94, of Redwood Falls, died Friday, May 7, 1999 at the Redwood Falls Hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls, with burial in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Monday one hour prior to service at the church.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Helen Goodyear of Redwood Falls, and nieces and nephews; Carole Eisenbarth and husband Loren of Morgan, Dale Goodyear and wife Lois of Bemidji, Keith Goodyear of Edmond, Oklahoma and Scott Goodyear and wife Joyce of Redwood Falls. Also surviving are four great-nieces and four great-nephews and step daughter Maxine Schroeder of Redwood Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arley on Feb. 26, 1985; a brother, Alan Goodyear; two step-sons and a step-daughter.
She was born Oct. 8, 1904, in Hancock County, Iowa the daughter of Carroll and Kathryn (Ford) Goodyear. She grew up on a farm in Hancock County until moving with her family to Redwood Falls in 1917. She received her education from country school in Paxton Township.
On Nov. 26, 1950 she married Arley Day on the Goodyear family farm in Paxton Township. They made their home in Redwood Falls where she volunteered at the Holiday Fair and was a member of the Country Mites and Ruth Circle. She was a volunteer at the Redwood Falls Hospital and Senior Center. In 1989 she was voted Outstanding Senior Citizen.
