Mabel C. Neidecker, 86, 513 S. Valley St. in New Ulm died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at New Ulm Medical Center.
A combined Mass of Christian burial for Mabel and her husband, Philip C. Neidecker who died on March 11, 2000, will be 11 a.m. today at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation for the couple is 9-10:30 a.m. today at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Rosella and Lester Wiltscheck, and Joanne Tauer all of New Ulm; three grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Philip Neidecker on March 11, 2000; and sister, Irene Berg.
She was born March 20, 1913, in Stark Township, Brown County, to Hubert and Anna (nee Soutschka) Zander. She attended country school in Stark Township, Brown County. She married Philip Neidecker on Sept. 26, 1939, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. They farmed in Sigel Township, Brown County, until retiring in 1976 and moving into New Ulm. She worked for Del Monte Foods in Sleepy Eye for four years after her retirement. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society in New Ulm and Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.

Bernice Witte, 91, of Morton died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center in Redwood Falls.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Morton with burial in the Morton City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
She is survived by children; Ardell Jensen and husband Ray of Redwood Falls, Lyle Witte and wife Joyce of Morton, and Harriet Cornwell and husband Gary of Morton; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Tjaden of Renville; and sister-in-laws, Evelyn Block of Morton and Irene Knudson of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son; two brothers; three sisters; one grandson; one foster son and her parents.
She was born on July11, 1908, in Norfolk Township, Renville County, Minnesota, to Anton and Bertha (Bartz) Block. She attended Morton Schools. On Sept. 26, 1926, she married Raymond Witte in Morton. They lived in rural Olivia and rural Bird Island, and in 1943 moved to Birch Coulee Township where they farmed. After retirement, they moved to Morton. She was a school clerk 15 years in District 19. She worked seven years at the Hwy Cafe in Morton and also at the Mint Cafe in Redwood Falls. She ran the lunch wagon for Rene and Terry Marguth for eight years. She worked at the Morton Nutrition site for six years. She was a member of Zion Ladies Aid, V.F.W. and Morton Lioness Club.

Harriet Haugen, 80, of Hanska, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Madelia Community Hospital.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at Firle Funeral Home in Hanska, and one hour prior to services at the church. The Hanska American Legion Auxiliary will hold a prayer service at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Hanska; daughters, Sharon and husband Arleigh Richardson, Jr. of Cleveland, Charlene and husband Mike Ogle of Melrose, Valline and husband Jim Sellner of Sleepy Eye; son, Cameron Haugen of Hanska; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gladys Hayes and Lorraine Schultz, of St. Peter; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harmon Haugen.
She was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Linden Township, Brown County to Hans and Sarah (Nundahl) Vegheim. She graduated from Hanska High School. She attended beauty school in Minneapolis. She married Raymond Haugen on Sept. 6, 1939, at Lake Hanska Lutheran Church parsonage. They farmed in Linden Township. She worked for Kraft Foods in New Ulm for nearly 25 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska. She was a member and past president of the Hanska American Legion Auxiliary.

Alice Valentin, 92, of Clear Lake, Iowa, formerly of Vesta and Lamberton, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center, Mason City, Iowa.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton, with burial in the City Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by daughters, Carol of Clear Lake, Iowa, and Annette and husband Robert Remick of Davenport, Fla.; three grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Linda Sydow; sister Elrera Larson; and brother Clarence Nelson.
She was born Jan. 9, 1908, in Walnut, Ill., to John and Annie (Malmberg) Nelson. She graduated from Lamberton High School and attended Normal College. She taught in Redwood County Schools. She married Erich Valentin on May 12, 1932, in Vesta. They farmed near Vesta. After Erich died, she moved to Minneapolis. In 1952 she moved to Clear Lake, Iowa.

Valoris Burginger, 85, of Lamberton, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Valley View Manor, Lamberton.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Lamberton, with burial in the City Cemetery, Sanborn.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Wilfred; daughters, Nancy and husband Leroy Harnack of Revere, and Bonnie Foudray of North Mankato; son Roger and wife Mary Jo Burginger of Sanborn; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; brother, Ralph and wife Gloria Moody of Sanborn; and brothers-in-law, Earvin and wife Ora Burginger of Story City, Iowa, Roman and wife Betty Burginger of Santa Maria, Calif., and Norbert and wife Dorothy Burginger of Faribault.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was born July 3, 1914, in Springfield, to Elles and Theresa (Schnobrich) Moody. She attended Sanborn High School and New Ulm Normal School. She taught country school for five years and taught in North Redwood for one year. She married Wilfred Burginger on Feb. 22, 1938 in Stately Township, Brown County. The couple lived in Sanborn. She worked with Sanborn Schools. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sanborn, Stately Extension Group, Ladies Aid of Christ Lutheran and Zion Lutheran and the Springfield Flower Club.

Selma Brackelsberg, 97, of Madelia, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Luther Memorial Home, Madelia.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madelia, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia.

Malcolm Broderius, 66, of Hector, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Hutchinson Area Health Care.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hector, with burial in the City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Hughes Funeral Home, Hector, and will continue one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

LaDonna T. Sweetman, 64, of Aberdeen, S.D., died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at ManorCare Health Services, Aberdeen.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aberdeen, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 8-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary, Aberdeen. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Friday followed by a rosary at the mortuary.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick; daughters, Julie and husband Ted Stessman, Paula and husband Kevin Drusch, and Susan and husband Dale Kovar, all of Omaha, Neb.; sons, Michael of Tulsa, Okla., Timothy and wife Ronda of Fort Pierre, S.D., Mark and wife Jill of Pierre, and Thomas and wife Allison of White Bear Lake; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials are preferred to Roncalli Foundation, 1400 N. Dakota St., Aberdeen, S.D. 57401.
She was born Dec. 20, 1935, in New Ulm to Leonard and Viola (Meidl) Kloeckl. She attended Holy Trinity Parochial School and graduated from Holy Trinity High School. She graduated from St. Cloud School of Nursing in 1956. She married Patrick Sweetman on Oct. 6, 1956, in New Ulm. They lived in Aberdeen, where she worked at ManorCare Health Services. She was also a nursing instructor at Presentation College. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Altar Society and Birthright.

Anna M. Goblirsch, 99, of Morgan, formerly of rural Redwood Falls died on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan.
Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clements with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with a prayer service at 7 p.m. followed by a C.C.W. rosary; and continues Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
She is survived by sons, Herbert Goblirsch and wife Bertha of Redwood Falls, John Goblirsch and wife Bernice of Redwood Falls; four grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Wenzel; son, Vernon; daughter, Marion; grandson Ronald; three brothers and two sisters.
She was born on July 1, 1900. in New Avon Township, Redwood County, to George and Margret (Schottenbauer) Schwab. She attended rural District 101 school. On Feb. 18, 1919, she married Wenzel Goblirsch at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clements. They farmed in New Avon Township, Redwood County. Wenzel died on July 20, 1977. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and C.C.W. She belonged to the Women's Extension group.

Malcom Broderius, 66, of Hector, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at Hutchinson Area Health Care.

He is survived by his wife Donna; son David and wife Anne of Hector; daughters, Kim Miller and husband Jack of hector, Deb Lingl and husband John of Bird Island, and Brenda Prokosch and husband Neal of Bird Island; eight grandchildren; brothers, Buford and wife Elvera, Lloyd and wife Maxine, and Forrest and wife Mary, all of Hector; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was born Jan. 15, 1934 in Osceola Township, Renville County, to William and Lillian (Macik) Broderius. He grew up in Melville Township. he graduated from Hector High School in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Donna Laffen on April 10, 1955 in Hector. They lived in Melville Township. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hector. He served on the church council and the Melville Township Board.

She was born May 8, 1902 in Riverdale Township, Watonwan County, to John and Oline (Sornson) Brevig. She grew up in Linden Township, Brown County, rural Madelia, where she attended District 7 school. The family moved to Madelia where she worked at restaurants as a cook, at the Birds Eye Canning Company and the Madelia Turkey Plant. She married George Brackelsberg on June 27, 1928 in Madelia. They lived in Madelia. She was a member of the WCCW, Catholic Aid Association, and VFW Auxiliary. She was also active with the Association of Retarded Citizens.

Emma Kruse, 80, of Sanborn, died Thursday, March 16, 2000 at Springfield Medical Center.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Willow Lake Township, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 1 p.m. until time of services at the church Sunday.
Nelson Funeral Service, Redwood Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her children, Leslie Kruse of Sanborn, Lois Breitkreutz and husband Tom of rural Renville, and Linus Kruse and wife Diane of rural Sanborn; six grandchildren; and brother Helmuth Helmbrecht and wife Pat of Fairfax.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
She was born March 7, 1920 in Fonda, Iowa, to Otto and Alice (Wilstermann) Helmbrecht. She attended rural schools. In 1942 she moved with her family to a farm near Wanda. She married Edwin C. Kruse on June 16, 1948 in Wanda. They farmed in Willow lake Township. In November 1991 she moved to St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Women's Circle.
