Carol Vogt, 45, of Sanborn, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at home.
Services are 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mathias Catholic Church, Wanda.
Visitation is 8:30-10:30 a.m. today at the church.
Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton, was in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Myron; daughters, Sonia and husband Todd Johnson of Marshall, Heidi of Sanborn, and Crystal of Sanborn; parents, Clement and Dorothy Beranek of Lamberton; and siblings and their spouses, Diane and Gene Irlbeck, Cletus and Barb Beranek, and Galen and Chris Beranek, all of Lamberton, Sandy Laingen of Willmar, Dona and John Anderson of Elk River, and Mavis and Eric Paluck of Maple Grove.
She was preceded in death by father-in-law Henry Vogt; sister-in-law Sue Beranek; and niece Victoria Beranek.
She was born Nov. 1, 1954, in Redwood Falls, to Clement and Dorothy (Rohlik) Beranek. She attended school in Wabasso, graduating in 1973. She attended the University of Minnesota, Waseca. She married Myron Vogt on June 28, 1975, in Wanda. They farmed near Wanda in Willow lake Township. She was a teacher's aide at Wabasso Public School. She attended Southwest State University, Marshall. She taught at Franklin and Wabasso, while attending Mankato State University. She was a member of St. Mathias Catholic Church, Wanda, where she taught religion classes. She was a member of CCW and was a fraternal secretary for the Catholic Aid Association.

Truman Brockway, 81, of Redwood Falls and formerly of the Beaver Falls area, died April 16, 2000, at Sunwood Nursing Home in Redwood Falls.
Services are 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Private burial will be at Beaver Falls Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home, and continues from 1 p.m. until time of service Wednesday.
He is survived by children Steven of Morton, Jerry and wife Shirley of Morton, Beverly Radermacher and husband Ed of Montevideo, Janice Simondet and husband Gary of Morton, Karen Wittman of Morton, Tom Wittman of Bechyn, Linda Okins and husband Larry of Redwood Falls; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Burdean Brockway and wife Hattie of Clarksville, Iowa; and sister Lela Schendel and husband Lenny of Laferia, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Naomi in April 1995; daughters, Mary (an infant), Marilyn Bucholz; and brothers, Clayton and Rupert Behrens.
He was born June 8, 1918, at Allison, Iowa, to William and Amelia (Hahn) Brockway. He grew up in the Allison and Clarksville area where he attended country school. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1937. He married Naomi Behrens on Oct. 29, 1938, in Waterloo, Iowa. He worked for John Deere. They later farmed in Frederika and Dike, Iowa. In February of 1951 they came to Minnesota and farmed between Morton and Morgan for 15 years. He retired from the farm and then worked for Morton Oil Company until starting his own mechanic shop known as Beaver Falls Garage. He retired in the late 1980s Naomi died April 22, 1995. He became a resident at Sunwood Nursing Home in the spring of 1997. He was a member of Morton United Methodist Church.

Elisa 'Alice' Delacruz, 76, of Madelia, died Monday, April 17, 2000 at Luther Memorial Home, Madelia.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madelia, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Winnebago.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia, and will continue 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She is survived by sons, Lee and wife Carol of North Mankato, John and wife Carmen of Mississippi; daughters, Mary Aguilera and husband Ernesto of Gilman, Iowa, Rebecca Rojas and husband Aurelio, Esther Hernandez, all of St. Paul, Christina Lira and husband Guadalupe of Mexico, Ernestina DeLaCruz of Madelia; 31 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brother, Doroteo Vasquez of St. Paul; and sisters, Atonia Martinez of Guckeen, Eduvijes Cantu of St. Paul, Cruz Espinoza of Elmore, and Santos Brezino of Huntley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She was born April 17, 1926, in El Rabon Ranch, Texas, to Doroteo and Trinidad (Gonzalez) Vasquez. She grew up in Mexico. She married Candelario DeLaCruz on Jan. 18, 1945, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. They lived in St. Paul and Winnebago. She moved to Madelia in 1974, where she worked at Tony Downs Food for 10 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Kari Anne Robertson-Parra, 7 1/2-month-old daughter of LeAnna Parra of 916 N. Minnesota St., in New Ulm and Chad Robertson of Willmar died Monday, April 17, 2000 at the New Ulm Medical Center.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in the baby section of the City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Friday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
She is survived by mother, LeAnna Parra of New Ulm; her father, Chad Robertson of Willmar; and great grandparents, Dorothy and Randy Turnblad of New Ulm; and also by her grandparents; and other family members. She was born Aug. 27, 1999, in Wyoming, Minn., and moved to New Ulm with her mother shortly after her birth.

Richard T. Rodenberg, 79, of 20902 Pine Apple Lane, rural New Ulm, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000 at his home while working in his apple orchard.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the City Cemetery in New Ulm.
Visitation will be 4-8:30 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be no visitation at the church.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Rodenberg of rural New Ulm; a daughter, Mary Rodenberg-Roberts and her husband, Richard Roberts of Rosemount; sons, John Rodenberg and his wife Dianne of New Ulm, Dr. Thomas Rodenberg and his fiancee Christine Hausman both of Lakeland, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and by four nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Helen Rodenberg; a grandson, Christopher Roberts; a brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Althea Rodenberg; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ralph and Ethel Malone.
He was born April 23, 1920 in St. Paul, to Philip and Helen (Sempf) Rodenberg. He graduated from St. Paul Central High School, the University of Minnesota, and then from the St. Paul College of Law which is currently known as William Mitchell in St. Paul. After law school he was employed as an attorney for the Great Northern Railroad until 1948 when he moved to New Ulm and joined the law firm of Streissguth & Berens. In 1950, following the death of Mr. Streissguth, he became a partner with Robert Berens in the firm currently known as Berens, Rodenberg, & O'Connor, Chtd. in New Ulm. There he practiced law until retirement in 1992. Following his retirement from practicing law he became owner and operator of his own apple orchard known as A-Peeling Acres Apple Orchid located at his rural New Ulm residence. This he owned and operated up until his death. HE died while transplanting
one of his own apple trees. He was a member, past president, and past Sunday School Superintendent at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm where he also held many other official positions. He was a past director of Alliance Bank both in New Ulm and Hanska; he was on the first Board of the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia; a past directing member of the former Highland Manor Nursing Home in New Ulm; a past president and chairman of the board at the New Ulm Telecom, Inc.; a current member of Turner Halle and the Turnverein; and a former mayor of the city of New Ulm.
While practicing law in New Ulm he had been the assistant county attorney and later became the county attorney both for Brown County for many years. He was a current member of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a current member of the Minnesota Apple Growers Association. The family prefers memorials to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Carol Gieseke, 71, formerly of New Ulm, died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at the St. Peter Health Care Center in St. Peter.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Ulm, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home and at the church Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Alice Otto of New Ulm, Melba Hopp of Lafayette, Bernice and David Breitung of St. Peter; brothers and sister-in-law, Walton Gieseke of Lafayette, Henry and Lorie Gieseke of New Ulm; and many nieces, nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Laura Seemann and Mary Ann Bode, and a nephew, David Gieseke.
She was born February 16, 1929, in New Ulm to Henry F. and Mary (Fischer) Gieseke. She lived in New Ulm since 1955 and became a resident of the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine in 1976. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. The family prefers memorials be given in lieu of flowers.

Laura Ring, 13, 1622 N. Payne St., New Ulm, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Ulm, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Firle Funeral Home, New Ulm, and will continue one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
She is survived by her parents; sister Andrea; brothers, Zachary and Caleb; paternal grandparents, Lester and June Ring of New Ulm, and Beverly Baumgartener of Wrightstown, Wisc.; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Kermit Baumgartener.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
She was born July 22, 1986, in Appleton, Wisc., to John and Cynthia (Baumgartener) Ring. She was an eighth-grade student at St. Paul's Lutheran School and was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Ulm.

Elizabeth Hartwig, 82, of Redwood Falls, died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Center, Redwood Falls.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in the city cemetery.
Visitation is one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
Nelson Funeral Service, Redwood Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband Alfred; daughters, Barbara Hartwig of St. Louis Park, Sue Hatcher and husband John of Mankato; son Steve of Mounds View; three grandchildren; a sister Elsie McNabb of San Jacinto, Calif.; a brother, Lloyd Rasmussen and wife Shirley of Blufton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, Christian; and sisters, Anna Rasmussen, Mamie Balko, Myrtle Callery, and Helen Anderson.
She was born Oct. 29, 1917, in Redwood County, to Hans and Christina (Mortonsen) Rasmussen. She lived with her family in Redwood County and attended country schools, graduating from Wabasso High School. She attended beauty school in St. Paul and was a beautician in Redwood Falls. She married Alfred Hartwig on Nov. 25, 1943, in Redwood Falls. They lived in Three Lakes Township, where they farmed. After retiring from farming, they lived on the farm until 1989, when they moved into Redwood Falls. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Katherine Kleeman, 92, of Morton, died Thursday, April 20, 2000 at Wood Dale Nursing Home, Redwood Falls.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, Morton, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, rural Morton.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and will continue 9:30 a.m. until time of services Monday at the church.
She is survived by daughter Geraldine Mages and husband James of Jordan; grandchildren, James Mages and wife Carol of Downer's Grove, Ill., and Polly Johanson and husband Kevin of Lakeville; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George; brothers, George, Michael, Lawrence, and Thomas Singer; and sisters, Barbara Gibbons, and May Kinney.
She was born Feb. 17, 1908 in Morton, to Michael and Mary (Goblirsch) Singer. She lived with her family in Morton, graduating from Morton High School. She worked for the phone company. She married George Kleeman on Nov. 11, 1929 in Morton. They lived north of Morton, where they farmed until 1947, when they moved into Morton. She moved to Wood Dale Nursing Home in 1996. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Foresters and C.C.W.

Deloris Sorbe, 73, of Gaylord, died Wednesday, April 19, 2000 at Arlington Municipal Hospital.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Gaylord, with burial in church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-9 a.m. Saturday at Egesdal Funeral Home, Gaylord, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
She is survived by her son Thomas of Young America; daughter Beverly and husband Jack Miles of Bloomington; brother John and wife Donna Kramber of Apple Valley; grandson Shane Dusoski of Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Delma Goodrie; brother Elmer Kramber; and son Kevin.
She was born Aug. 29, 1926 in Gaylord, to Carl and Ida (Goetsch) Kramber. She graduated from Gaylord High School in 1944. She married Dean Sorbe on Aug. 25, 1946 in Gaylord. She was later divorced. She worked at Fullerton Lumber Company for many years. She also worked as secretary at Sibley County Public Health Nursing Services until her retirement. She lived in Gaylord until moving to Arlington Good Samaritan Home. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the American Cancer Society.

George W. Hagert, 84, of Sanborn, died Friday, April 21, 2000 at Divine Providence Home, Sleepy Eye.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sanborn United Methodist Church, with burial in the Sanborn City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Monday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his wife Loreen of Sleepy Eye; daughters, Janice and husband Ken Jensen of Anoka, and Judi and husband Jon Wendt of North Mankato; a son Gary and wife Gail of Shakopee; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law Betty Hagert of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Andrew; a sisters, Tillie Pruell, Margaret Ridler, Ann Korman, Francis Jueneemann, and Kate Nachtman.
He was born Nov. 24, 1915 in Johnsonville Township, Redwood County, to Andrew and Anna (Schotenbauer) Hagert. He attended country school in Johnsonville Township. He married Loreen Bittner on Sept. 28, 1937 in Johnsonville Township. They lived in Marshall for a few years. They moved to Springfield in 1951, where he worked for A.C. Ochs Brick and Tile Company. In 1956 they moved to Sanborn, where he worked at Sanborn School as a custodian and bus driver. He retired in 1976, but continued to drive the school bus until 1984. They recently moved to Divine Providence Home, Sleepy Eye. He was a member of Sanborn United Methodist Church.
