Shawn Pratt, 32, of Minneapolis, formerly of Olivia and Redwood Falls, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, as the result of an automobile accident.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Redwood Valley Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
He is survived by his father, Frank of Belview; mother, Toni Frederickson and husband Richard of Granite Falls; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leah and Paul Seehusen of Renville, and Megan Pratt-Smith and Rich Smith of Redwood Falls; grandparents, Lewis and Hazel Pratt of Redwood Falls; and stepsisters and brothers-in-law, Kris and Russ Bratsch, Nancy and Richard Arstein, and Leeana and Nick Bratsch; stepbrother David Arstein.
He was born March 21, 1968, in Redwood Falls, to Frank Pratt and Toni (Otto) Frederickson. He served in the United States Army before moving to the Minneapolis area. He was married to Kristine Vogt. He was the owner/operator of Specialty Packing.
Joseph F. Kloeckl, 73, of Gaylord, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at the Arlington Municipal Hospital.
Mass of Christian burial is 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Gaylord, with burial with military honors by the Gaylord Manthey-Asmus American Legion Post 433 in Greenwood Cemetery, New Sweden Township, rural Nicollet.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m.today and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Egesdal Funeral Home, Gaylord. A prayer service is 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary; sister and brother-in-law, Valeria and Les Kading; brothers, Frank and Hilarian, and sister, Jane LaPlante.
He was born Jan. 20, 1927, in New Ulm, to Frank and Mary (Hillesheim) Kloeckl. He married Audrey Webster on June 19, 1960, at St. Michael's Church Rectory in Gaylord. They lived in Gaylord, where he was employed at Kading Plumbing, Mueller Well Drilling and Hydro-Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army as corporal in the 5th Division, Korean Conflict, in 1950-1952.
He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Gaylord, a retired member of the Gaylord Fire Department, the Gaylord Manthey-Asmus American Legion Post 433 and the Gaylord Jaycees.
Charlotte Simmet, 92, of Sleepy Eye, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Divine Providence Home, Sleepy Eye.
Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, with burial in the church cemetery.

Donna Polk, 62, of Phoenix, formerly of New Ulm, died Dec. 29, 2000, in Phoenix.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Church, 5300 France Avenue S., Edina.

Donald Sebald, 78, of Shakopee, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, t St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Shakopee.
Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shakopee, with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Full military honored will be performed by Shakopee Veterans Memorial Unit.

He was born Nov. 26, 1922, in New Ulm, to Max and Dora (Randl) Sebald. He attended Loyola College for one year. He married June Heinzman on June 12, 1946, in Mankato. He was drafted into the Army on Dec. 17, 1942. He served in the 787th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion. He was a radio operator and forward observer. He served in France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. He was discharged on Jan. 24, 1946. He worked as a lineman with Northwestern Bell. He lived in Henderson and Gaylord prior to moving to Shakopee in 1957. He retired in 1983 from Northwestern Bell. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He helped with Boy Scouts and the Red Cross bloodmobile. He played trombone in Schell's Hobo Band and the Shakopee Community Band. He organized his own Dixieland band, the Dixiecats. He was a member of the Minnesota Over Sixty Hobo Band.

She married Clarence Bierstedt on June 17, 1945, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Mountville, rural Gaylord. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School at Brownton and New Auburn Public School. She worked as a waitress at Gaylord restaurants, the Green Lantern and Goetsch Oil Co. She and her husband farmed in Sibley Township, Sibley County. They retired in 1976 and moved to Gaylord. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Gaylord, where she taught Sunday school, served as a Luther League counselor and belonged to Naomi Circle.
Thomas 'Tom' Dolly, 55, of 910 N. Minnesota St., New Ulm, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at the St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm, with burial in the Soldiers Rest Section of the City Cemetery, New Ulm. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the New Ulm veterans organizations.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-11 a.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Dolly; maternal grandparents, Rudolph and Anna Hauer; and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Linda Dolly.
He was born Sept. 17, 1945, in New Ulm, to Eldon and Flora (Hauer) Dolly. On Sept. 3, 1963, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served aboard the USS Kittyhawk and the USS Pyro, serving a tour in Vietnam. He was discharged on Sept. 2, 1966, reaching the rank of Radioman 3rd Class. After his military service, he worked at Honeywell in Minneapolis before moving back to New Ulm where he worked as a salesman for General Trading. He married Rosie Gulden on Nov. 28, 1969, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles. He received his private pilot's license in 1985. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, a member and past commander of the Seifert-Bianchi American Legion Post 132, New Ulm, and a past member of the New Ulm Fire Department. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1985 and had been a resident of St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield since November 1998.
The family prefers memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or St. John Lutheran Home.

She was born Jan. 13, 1908, in New Ulm, to Anton and Anna (Kitzberger) Simmet. She grew up and attended rural school in New Ulm. She was a long-time resident of Sleepy Eye. She moved to Divine Providence Community Home in December 1995. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye.
Raymond Kroells, 82, of Arlington, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Sibley Medical Center, Arlington.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Arlington, with burial in the city cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Fenske Funeral Home, Arlington, and continues one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. There will be a prayer service 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; daughter, Karen and husband Peter Archer of Arlington; son, Keith and wife Peggy of Arlington; sisters, Bertha Proehl of Glencoe, Elsie Brandt of Arlington; sister-in-law, Toddy Kroells of Arlington; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman, Walter, and Albert; and sisters, Anna Burdorf, Ida Oelkfe, Louise Petzel, and Emma Weckwerth.
He was born Jan. 24, 1918, in Arlington to Jacob and Augusta (Stender) Kroells. He attended school for eight years and farmed. He entered the Army on Feb. 26, 1942, and served in World War II. He was discharged Oct. 4, 1945. He received the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, and the Good Conduct Metal. He married Bernice Dahlke on Dec. 3, 1948, in Arlington. He farmed with his brother Walter, continuing until the 1980s. He was also a rural mail carrier for 30 years in the Arlington area. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Arlington.
Hartman 'Bud' Mueller, 70, of Mission, Texas, formerly of Redwood Falls, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Mission Nursing and Rehab Center, Mission, Texas.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Dream Valley Ranch Recreation Hall, Mission, with burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Gibbon.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Gibbon.

He was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Springfield.

Maynard Wiese, 75, of Northfield, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Paul.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Benson Funeral Home, Northfield, with burial in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Ida; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and David Miller of Northfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Connie of Northfield, and Dale and Kim of Wheaton, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gerald.
He was born March 17, 1925, in New Ulm, to Paul and Lenore (Schlottman) Wiese. He married Ida B. Rodrick on Feb. 26, 1949, in Northfield. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a technical sergeant and served as a radio operator on a B-24 bomber in the South Pacific, with the Jolly Rogers, the 320th Bomb Squadron, 90th Bomb Group, Fifth Air Force. He worked at the Veterans Administration in St. Paul and later in Hines, Ill., as a computer programmer/analyst and auditor. He retired in 1981 and moved back to Northfield in 1986. He also lived in Vernon Center and LaGrange, Ill.
Christine Mielke, 65, of Mankato, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Methodist Hospital, Rochester.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary, with burial at a later date in Minneopa Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Kim and Rod Meyer of Blaine and Wendy of Crystal; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Christina of Eden Prairie; eight grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Mary Lou Williams of Amboy; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Clayton, on Nov. 8, 1999.
She was born April 15, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Jenkin and Phyllis (Harvey) Williams. She grew up in Milwaukee and Mankato. She married Clayton Mielke on Aug. 23, 1953, in Mankato. They lived in Austin and Rochester before returning to Mankato in 1975. She worked in management for McDonald's in Rochester and Mankato, retiring in 1981.
