Harold Augeson, 80, of Hector died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at Hutchinson Area Health Care.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector with burial in the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. today at Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Augeson of Hector; children and their spouses, Gary and Jill Augeson of Litchfield, Jerry and Connie Augeson, of Golden Valley, Randy and Shelly Augeson of Hector, and Susan and Keith Wheeler of Fort Mill, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Walter and wife Ida Augeson and Warren Augeson of Hector; sisters, Opal Birhanzl of Montevideo, Cleo Myhre and husband, Don of Montevideo, Violet Haff of Montevideo; Virginia Boraas and husband Omer of Dawson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela and Karen; brothers, Wayne, Roger; and sisters, Fern, Ruby, Pearl and Velma.
He was born March 24, 1920, to Sigfred William and Alice Jane (Sunderland) Augeson at his parents' farm in Chippewa County near Montevideo. He attended Montevideo Area District Schooling. He served in the Army during World War II and served in the Civil Conservation Corps.
He married Florence Ruschmeyer on Feb. 4, 1947, at Buffalo Lake Zion Lutheran Church parsonage. They lived on their farm outside of Hector. He worked for farmers and farmed with his brother Warren Augeson in Hector for many years. He also trucked livestock for Chester Swain. He retired in 1982.
George Chambard, 64, Jan. 14, 2001, at Providence Yakima Medical Center.
Services are Saturday at the Clemans View Community Center in Naches, Wash.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne B. Chambard of Naches, Wash.; children, Denise Chambard of Missoula, Mont., Debra Stevens and husband Kenneth of Yakima, Diana Tasker and husband Louis of Ellensburg, and David Chambard and wife LaDonna of Yakima; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alon and Carol Chambard of New Ulm, Glenn and Delores Chambard and Kenneth and Luella Chambard of Sandstone; sister, Shirley Olson and husband Clayton of Hanska; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.
He was born Feb. 4, 1936, to Crosby N. and Alma C. (Frederickson) Chambard in Hanska. He graduated from Hanska High School in 1954. He married Joanne Paulson on Aug. 28, 1957. They moved to the Yakima Valley in August 1973. He served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. After retirement, he worked for the Department of Defense at the Yakima Research Station for 14 years. He also worked for the Corps of Engineers as campground host and at Evans/Montgomery Nursery. He was active in Boy Scouts. He was a member of the American Legion, TREA, NARFE, and Lions.
Orpha Washechek, 92, of Buffalo Lake, formerly of Hector, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at Buffalo Lake Health Care Center.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Evangelical Free Church, Hector
Visitation is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

She is survived by son, Jim Nelson and wife Carol of Seattle; stepsons, Bervin Washechek and wife Kay of Nevis, Steven Washechek and wife Joyce of Rochester, and Calvin Washechek of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Nelson in 1952; husband, Frank Washechek in April 1983; and brothers, Alton, Clark and Sylvan.
She was born Feb. 2, 1908, in Omeemee, N.D., to Albert and Emma (Scharmer) Klucas She grew up in the Buffalo Lake area. She also lived in Shelby, Mont., and Kasson. She attended school in Buffalo Lake, where she graduated in 1928 from Buffalo Lake High School. She married Charles Nelson on Feb. 2, 1934, in Stewart. They lived in the Buffalo Lake area. She worked at Skogmos Dry Goods, Hector. She married Frank Washechek on Dec. 23, 1970, in Watertown. They lived in Hector. She was a member of Evangelical Free Church, Hector, and active in its women's organization. She was involved with the World Gospel Mission and the Minnesota State Prayer Band.
Tahirih Dimayuga, infant daughter of Michelle Pettit de Dimayuga and Guadalupe Dimayuga of St. Paul, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, in Minneapolis.
Services are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye.
She is survived by her parents; and grandparents, J. Guadalupe and Maria Felix Dimayuga of Las Mesas, Guerrero, Mexico, Ed Pettit of Elysian, and Rose Pettit of Minneapolis.
She was born Jan. 17, 2001, in Minneapolis.
Raymond Schroepfer, 92, of Sleepy Eye, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at Divine Providence Community Home, Sleepy Eye.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. A K.C. and C.O.F. Rosary is 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service is at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella of Sleepy Eye; children and their spouses, Mary Ann and Richard Helling of St. James, Marvin and Sharyn Schroepfer of Apple Valley, Dennis and Sandy Schroepfer of Alexandria, and Joyce and John Miller of Rochester; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Florian Schroepfer, Agnes and Edwin Tauer, Rosella and James Hillesheim; Sylvester and Pearl Schroepfer and Jerome and Arlene Schroepfer, all of Sleepy Eye; and sisters-in-law, Loretta (Mrs. Albert) Schroepfer, Clara (Mrs. Clem) Schroepfer, and Amelia (Mrs. Felix) Heitzer, all of Sleepy Eye.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clement, Felix, Walter, Edward and Albert; and a sister, Lorraine Weiss.
He was born April 23, 1908, in Stark Township, Brown County, to Frank and Theresia (Seidl) Schroepfer. He married Marcella Augustin on Oct. 24, 1938, in Leavenworth. They lived in Sleepy Eye where he managed Sleepy Eye Grain and Feed for 41 years. He belonged to St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Gordon Steinhaus, 78, of St. Paul, formerly of Fairfax, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at the St. Anthony Park Home, St. Paul.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Fairfax, with burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Cairo Township, Renville County.
He is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Florence Sandgren of Sleepy Eye, Lois Steinhaus of St. Paul, and Bev and Earl Altmann of Sleepy Eye; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Steinhaus of Rochester; a sister-in-law, Ruby Steinhaus of Fairfax; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Dellas and Delmar, and nephews, Terry and Randy.
He was born Nov. 16, 1922, to Ferdinand and Lila (Streich) Steinhaus in Eden Township, Brown County. He attended Faribault School for the Deaf. He lived in Fairfax and worked for the California Packing Co. in Sleepy Eye for 25 years. He moved to St. Paul in the mid 1970s. He became a resident at St. Anthony Park Home, St. Paul, in November 2000.
Carol Meyer, 68, of Gaylord, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Church of Christ, Gaylord, with burial in the city cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Monday at Egesdal Funeral Home, Gaylord, and will continue one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
Bill Schrieber, 98, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at the Arlington Municipal Hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, Winthrop, with burial in the Winthrop cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-11:30 a.m Monday at the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Winthrop, and one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian of Winthrop, daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Russell Howk of New Ulm; step sons, Dennis Fenske of Winthrop and Dean Fenske of Lafayette; step daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Leon Peterson of Hawick; grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Johanna; daughter Dorothy Gasow; sisters Greda and Gerda, and brothers Fritz and Herb.
He was born April 20, 1902, in Oldenburg, Germany to August and Helen (Freese) Schrieber. He was educated at an all-boys school in Germany. His parents died when he was growing up and he was raised by his relatives.
He moved to the United States when he was 19 years old, and settled in Shakopee.
He married Johanna Maria Bertha Techam on Sept. 19, 1924, in Shakopee. They lived in Shakopee and Winnebago before moving to Winthrop. He worked as a shoemaker, doing shoe repair work in Winnebago. He opened Schrieber's Shoe Service and operated in downtown Winthrop for 47 years. Johanna died on May 28, 1974.
He married Lillian Ruth (Messerli) Fenske on June 20, 1976, in Winthrop. He retired from his shoe repair business on Dec. 24, 1977. They retired in Winthrop. Due to ill health, Bill recently entered the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center.
Robert Myrl Tetrick, 62, of Lamberton died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Lamberton. Burial will be in Redwood Falls City Cemetery, Redwood Falls.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. Sunday and will contine 7:30-8:30 a.m. Monday at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton. Visitation also will be for one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, of Lamberton; daughters, Robin Tetrick of Lamberton and fiance, Charles Brand of Wanda, Cathy Tetrick of Lamberton, Sharon and husband, Darrin Carlson of Clements, Laura Tetrick of Worthington and special friend, Jose Varela of Worthington; step-grandson, James Carlson of Glencoe; brothers, Elton and wife, Elaine of Springdale, Wash., Darlo and wife, Mary Ann of Dillaird, Ga.; sister, Shirley and husband, Francis Zilka of Columbia Heights.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ila French, a brother, John, and an infant brother.
Robert Tetrick was born March 30, 1938, in Springfield, son of Clarence and Gleva (Overmeyer) Tetrick. He attended Lamberton Public School and graduated from Lamberton High School. He farmed with his father on the family farm. On July 11, 1964, he married Mary Patten in Delhi. They farmed until 1987. He was vice president of the Shorthorn Association, an organizer with Redwood County Pork Producers, a 4-H leader for 25 years, a member of the county fair board, and a trustee at United Methodist Church, Lamberton, where he also was a member.
Ginger Lee Rohman, 50, of Belview, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at her home.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church, Belview.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, and one hour prior to services at the church.

She is survived by her husband, Dan; sons, Rob of Mankato and Grant of Moorhead; parents, Donald and Delores Kuehl of Trimont; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Renee Kuehl of Truman, and Scott and Lori Kuehl of Ormsby; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Tim Worth of Jackson, Mich., and Peg and Terry Nelson of Luverne; and mother-in-law Lorraine Rohman of Trimont.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and father-in-law, Llyle.
She was born Feb. 23, 1950, in Fairmont, to Donald and Dolores (Olson) Kuehl. She participated in the Minnesota State High School Rodeo at Granite Falls in 1967 and 1968. She won many awards as a horse rider.
She attended cosmetology school at Fairmont and worked as a cosmetologist in Mankato and Belview in 1971-1978.
She married Dan Rohman on April 4, 1970, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Sherburn. She started a daycare in her home in 1978 and operated it for 23 years. She was a church youth counselor, Latch Key supervisor and an aide at Belview Elementary school.
Carol A. Meyer, 68, of Gaylord, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Church of Christ, Gaylord, with burial in the Gaylord Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. today and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Monday at Egesdal Funeral Home, Gaylord, and one hour at United Church of Christ before services.
She is survived by her husband, Rueben, of Gaylord; son and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Brenda, of rural Gaylord; daughter and son-in-law, Ruby and Jeff Goldberg, of Newburgh, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol Bernice Meyer was born July 3, 1932, in Minneapolis, daughter of Ed and Aleda (Anderson) Anderson. She graduated from Winthrop High School in 1950. She worked as a bookkeeper at Tri-County Co-op in Winthrop. She married Rueben Meyer on June 10, 1955, at Evangelical Covenant Church, Winthrop. They lived and farmed in Sibley Township, south of Gaylord, until 1996, when they moved to Gaylord. She was a member of United Church of Christ in Gaylord, where she taught Sunday school, sang in the Church Choir and was a member of the UCC Clown Club. She was treasurer of the Alliance of Friendship, member of the Christian Farmers of America, member of the Habitat for Humanity and former adult leader of 4-H.
George Kuebler, 70, of Arlington, formerly of Jordan, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at Sibley Medical Center, Arlington.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, Arlington. Burial will be in Arlington Public Cemetery, Arlington.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at Fenske Funeral Home, Arlington, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Kuebler of Arlington; sons, Steve and wife, Shelly, of Eden Prairie, Tom and wife, Kymberly Kuebler of Mesquite, Texas; daughters, Jan and husband, Doug Lake, of Shakopee, Theresa and husband, Jay North, of Waconia; five grandchildren; brothers, John and wife, Delores, of St. James, Glen of Sleepy Eye, and Margaret Kuebler of Sleepy Eye; sisters, Beatrice and husband, Milton Witt, of West St. Paul, Janet and husband, Gilbert Hillesheim, of New Ulm, Kathy and husband, Frank Vogel of Sanborn, Alex Sellner of Rosemount.
George Kuebler was born May 27, 1930 in Sleepy Eye, son of George and Mathilda (Hoffmann) Kuebler. He attended country school. He was in the Navy during the Korean War from 1950-54. He married Esther Dostal on Aug. 12, 1960, at Ft. Dodge, Iowa. They lived in Jordan for 30 years before moving to Arlington in 1994. He was a member of the Arlington V.F.W. and American Legion - Post Commander, and was on the Peace Lutheran Church Council. He worked as manager of Sunny Acres Mobile Home Park in Burnsville. Fenske Funeral Home, Arlington, is handling the arrangements.
Charles L. Strate, 53, of 57340 360th St, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at his home of an apparent heart attack.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Church of Our Lady, Mannanah. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services at the church Tuesday. Parish prayers will be 7:30 p.m., followed by Knights of Colombus St. Louis Council #3820 and Catholic Aid Association at 8 p.m. and Eden Valley American Legion Post #381 at 8:30 p.m.
Arrangements are with Dingmann's Eden Valley Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Eden Valley; children, Connie and husband, Doug Goblirsch of Ramsey, Becky and husband, Shane Wilson of Mankato, Brian and wife, Michelle Strate of Sleepy Eye, Sarah Strate and special friend, Chad Mills of Madelia, Kimberly Strate of Eden Valley; four grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte and husband, Dick Gorres of Willmar, Lynn and Jeanne Strate of Bemidji.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Louis Strate, in 1954.
Charles Strate was born in Sleepy Eye on Nov. 26, 1947, son of Raymond and Viola (Lux) Strate. He married Nancy Mages on Oct. 24, 1969, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. They farmed and lived in Sleepy Eye until moving to Eden Valley in 1993. He was a member of Church of Our Lady, Manannah, where he was on the finance council.
He also was a member of Knights of Colombus St. Post #381 and NRA. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
Ariella J. "Tommy" (DeGroat) Leith, 81, of Lower Sioux Community and Morton died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001 at her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Morton. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The visitation will continue Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church.
