Armin J. Reinhart, 72, of Plymouth died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Crystal with burial in the Gethsemane Cemetery in Crystal.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home in New Hope and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at church on Saturday. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Reinhart of Plymouth; daughters and son-in-law, Janice Reinhart, Mary Walker, and Catherine and Carl May; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Charles Macho and Patricia and Leo Traurig, all of New Ulm and Renata and Ellard Shimota of Bloomington.
He born May 31, 1928, in New Ulm to Andrew and Barbara (Singer) Reinhart. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School in New Ulm. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He married Lorraine Hillisheim at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. He was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Crystal, Knights of Columbus, American Legion and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Raymond E. Uecker, 80, of Gaylord, died May 23, 2001, at Sibley Medical Center in Arlington.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Mountville, rural Gaylord, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord; and continues one hour before services at the church.

Laurie Sherman, 72, of Franklin, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at her home.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Franklin with burial in the Franklin Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday and noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Franklin.
Memorials are preferred to Redwood County Hospice.
Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax is handling arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Uecker of Gaylord; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Jeff Hed of Gaylord, Mavis and Orlin Grack of Gaylord, Linda and Harris Dose of Arlington; son and daughter-in-law Glen and Debra Uecker of Gaylord; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Norman sauter of Hutchinson; sisters-in-law, Doris Hahn of Stewart, Ruth and husband Clarence Harbarth of gaylord, Della and husband Orville Larson of Winthrop; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother; brother, Eugene Uecker; and sister Celeste-Sauter.
He was born Sept. 30, 1920 in Dryden Township, Sibley County, to Robert and Bertha (Marth) Uecker. He married Helen Stelter on June 3, 1945, at St. John's Lutheran Church in (Mountville) rural Gaylord. He attended Parochial Country School in Dryden Township. They farmed in Dryden Township. They retired in 1973 and moved into Gaylord. He was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where he served on the board and sang in the choir. He was a member of the Farmers Union and served on the board of directors. He served on the Dryden Township Board. He worked for Green Giant for many years during corn pack.

Dorothy E. Franciscus, 85, of Mankato, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mankato. Burial will be at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Visitation continues one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Survivors include daughters and their husbands, Barb and Mark Bouljon of Little Canada, and Cherie and Cornelius Paulson, Jr. of St. Michael; sons and their wives, Jerry and Bernie Franciscus of Inver Grove Heights, and Don and Kathi Franciscus of New Ulm; 12 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; a brother-in-law, Howard Nelson of Mankato; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and one brother.
Dorothy E. Franciscus was born July 14, 1915 in Waterville to Roy and Clara (Blair) Sperry. She married LeVerne D. Franciscus on June 15, 1935 at St John's Catholic Church in Mankato. They lived in Mankato, Minneapolis, Japan, and other locations, before retiring to the Fifty Lakes, Minn., area. Mr. Franciscus retired from the US Air Force and worked at the Mankato Free Press and Minneapolis Star Tribune. Mr. Franciscus died in 1982. Dorothy returned to Mankato in 1983 and moved to New Ulm in 1998. Dorothy had been a homemaker for her family.
Dorothy was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato.

Wilfahrt A. Hahn, 75 of Gaylord died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at the St. Peter Community Hospital and Health Care Center in St. Peter.
Services will be10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 29 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington with interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Arlington.
Visitation is 3-9 PM Monday at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord and one hour at the church before services.
He is survived by his wife Ruth M. Hahn of Gaylord; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Noel Blaser of Gaylord; aunts, Ellen Hedrich of Fertile, Cora (Mrs. Clarence) Solmonson of Gaylord; sisters-in-law, Norma Ellig of Mankato, Gertrude (Mrs. Rueben) Hahn of Gaylord, Beata Polzin of Glencoe, Lois (Mrs. Willmer) Majeski of Winthrop; a brother-in-law, William and wife Sherri Bogatzke of Flager Beach, Fla.; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, and nephew David Blaser.
Wilfhart A. Hahn was born May 23, 1926 in Sibley Township, Sibley County, to Edward A. and Clara (Woller) Hahn. He married Ruth M. Bogatske on Aug. 2, 1950 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord.
He graduated from Gaylord High School in June of 1944. In September 1944, he entered the U.S. Army during WWII, serving in Europe until his discharge in 1948.
He had been a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington since 1950 and served as an elder, and on the Building and Grounds Committee, Cemetery Board, and Counting Committee.
He owned and operated a milk hauling business for Gaylord and Rush River Creameries from 1949-1960. They lived in Arlington from 1950-1959, then on a farm north of Arlington from 1959-1967 and then moving to Gaylord.
He drove truck for Par Gas, Tex Gas and Lakes Gas in Gaylord from 1965 to 1989 when he retired. He was a resident of the St. Peter Community Hospital and Health Care Center since April 2001.

Laurie J. Sherman, 72, of Franklin died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at her home in Franklin.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Franklin, with burial in the Franklin Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Franklin. Memorials are preferred to the Redwood County Hospice. Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax is handling the arrangements.
Laurie is survived by her sons, James Leonard and his wife, Kathy of Ray City, Ga., Mark Sherman and his wife, Debra of Franklin, Todd Sherman and his wife, Peggy of Franklin and Joseph Sherman and his wife, Stephanie of Wohnbach, Germany, a daughter, Debra Hjulberg and her husband, Steven of Wyoming, Minn.; 20 Grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Johnson of Spicer, Kay Zubrod and her husband, Bill of Mesa, Ariz., Marjorie Ruzicka and her husband, Jerry of Spicer; Brothers, Dick Olson and his wife, Dolly of Mankato and Donald Olson and his wife, Carol of Spicer; her former Husband, Douglas Sherman of Franklin, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lloyd Leonard; a brother, Harvey Olson and a sister, Betty Ann Olson.
Laurie Jane Sherman was born Sept. 27, 1928, in Westfield Township, Steele County, N.D. to Rudy and Ella (Christen) Olson. She was baptized as an infant and was confirmed in 1942 at Hoff Lutheran Church, in Sharon, N.D., Laurie and her family moved to Franklin in 1943. Laurie graduated from Franklin High School in 1946 and continued her education at Mankato State.
She married Lloyd Leonard in 1948. Lloyd died in an automobile accident, shortly after their marriage.
Laurie married Douglas Sherman in 1951. Laurie and Douglas separated in the late 1970s.
Laurie lived most of her life in Franklin, where she was a homemaker. She was Franklin's city clerk for over 20 years,
Laurie was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Franklin, where she was active with the ladies' aid. She also served as the congregational president, on the church council and she sang in the choir. Laurie belonged to the civic club, the local Bridge club and the Franklin American Legion Auxiliary.

Robert L. Wille, 93 of Springfield, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at Sleepy Eye Care Center, Sleepy Eye.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Springfield, with burial in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery, Waterbury Township, Minn.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Verna Wille of Springfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Galen Wetter of Lamberton, Mavis and Gordon Mathews of Hamel, Karen and David Hacker of
Morgan, Ruth Ann and Tom Lange of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Mary and Haden Fenger of Lamberton; sons, Arlan and wife Mary Wille of Buffalo, and Layton Wille of
Missouri; a son-in-law, Merlin and wife Ilene Willand of Dawson; 26 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; sisters, Lydia Koschnick of Tucson Ariz., Louise Dalluge of Mapleton, Florence Wrucke of Mankato and Erna and husband Henry Weiss of Springfield; brothers,Walter and wife Rosella Wille of Lindstrom, Alvin and Christine Wille of Lamberton; a brother-in-law, LeRoy and wife Millie Wrucke of Good Thunder, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Mona Rae Willand in January 1989; sisters, Bernice Wrucke and Frieda Cheney and one brother, Ervin Wille.
Robert Leo Wille was born Jan. 23,1908 to Gustav and Bertha (Rehbergh) Wille on the family farm in Waterbury Township. On Sept. 8, 1936 he married Verna Siedschlag in Lucan. The couple made their home on the farm in Waterbury Township. Robert farmed until a near-fatal car accident forced him to retire in 1964. Robert and Verna moved to Springfield in August 1971 and Robert moved into Sleepy Eye Care Center in 1993. He was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waterbury Township and served as a trustee and deacon. Robert was baptized and confirmed in St. Matthew Lutheran Church and was currently a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield.

Roy M. Jesse, 82, of Shawano, Wis., and formerly of New Ulm, died on Saturday, May 26, 2001, at the Maple Lane Health Care Center in Shawano.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service in Shawano, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by son Marcus "Mike" and Virginia Jesse of Shawano; son-in-law David Schneider of Austin; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Evelyn.
The Jesses lived in New Ulm for 33 years where he drove trucks for LCL Transport Co., retiring in 1980. They moved to Shawano in 1987.

Aurora E. Kading, 91, of St. James died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, St. James.
Visitation will be 4-7:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James, with visitation continuing at the church one hour prior to service.
She is survived by son Warner Kading of St. James; step-granddaughter Laura and husband Tom Patterson and family of New Ulm; brother-in-law Robert and Isabel Kading of Montgomery; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, William in 1973.
She was born March 30, 1910, to Andrew and Ellen (Westberg) Warner on her grandfather's homestead in Nelson Township, Watonwan County. After living in Darfur as a child, Aurora moved with her family to St. James when she was seven, graduating from St. James High School. She married William Kading in 1934. After working for the St. James Plaindealer and an attorney, she worked for Watonwan County for 44 years. For 12 of those years, she served as county treasurer. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir and serving as church organist for 36 years. She began playing the piano at a very young age and then taught herself to play the organ. She served on a number of church groups and was church historian for many years. She was a member of the Watonwan Historical Society, the area Swedish group (Svenska Vannera) as director and treasurer, and the Swedish Institute.

Lura M. Neale, 82, of Redwood Falls died Friday, May 25, 2001 at the Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, with burial in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are being handled by the Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.
Lura is survived by her son, Dwight and his wife Kathy Neale of Rogers; grandchildren, Mary Neale and her fiance Todd Johnson of Woodbury, and Daniel Neale of Rogers; a sister, Margaret Schumacher of Redwood Falls, and a sister-inlaw, Marie Neale of Redwood Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldridge in 1994; two brothers and three sisters.
Lura Marie Ruling was born Nov. 19, 1919 in Wabasso to George and Iona (Blake) Huling. She lived with her family in Wabasso, where she attended Wabasso Public Schools. She married Eldridge A. Neale on Sept. 24, 1942 in Edgerton, Minn. After their marriage they lived in San Francisco for a couple of years, moved back to Edgerton in 1945 and then to Pipestone in 1948. They then moved to North Redwood in 1949 and later to Redwood Falls. She worked as a waitress and at the local grocery store for a few years and also at Control Data for about 15 years before retiring. Lura was a distributor for Stanley Home Products and a beauty counselor. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls.

Marion K. Evenson, 89, of Hector, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Renville County Hospital in Olivia.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church in Hector with burial in the Hector City Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are with Hughes Funeral Home, Hector.
She is survived by her nephew, Gordon Nahan; sister-in-law, Jeanne Evenson and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; sisters, Claia, and Alberta: and niece, Patsy.
She was born Aug. 17, 1911, in Minneapolis to Tom and Clara Kohler. She married Leonard Evenson on Sept. 6, 1948, in Hastings. They moved to Hector where she taught school for many years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Hector and Eastern Star.

Mildred Hansen, 76, of Madelia, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Madelia Community Hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Madelia United Methodist Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia, and at the church and continues one hour prior to the service at the church.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Smith of Coon Rapids and Sheryl Jacobson and husband David of Oak Grove; son, Philip of Brooklyn Park; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin and wife Jo of Rhode Island; Royce and wife Betty of Eagan; sisters, Evelyn Schofield of Winnebago and Connie Lindstrom and husband Curt of Mille Lacs Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband in November of 1998; her parents; and brothers, Carroll and Alvin.
She was born Aug. 11, 1924, to Willard and Ina (Lewis) DeVoll in rural Madelia. She grew up in rural Madelia and graduated from Madelia High School in 1942. She married Jimmy Hansen on June 8, 1942 in Madelia, They lived a short time in Lake Crystal, then from 1945-47 in Scottsdale, Ariz. and then in Madelia. She was a homemaker and also worked 25 years as a clerk at the Bill Drug Store, Flicek's, and Fashion Lane, all in Madelia. She retired in 1986. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She volunteered as a driver for Senior Dining and with activities at Luther Memorial Home.

Patricia R. Groebner, 66, of Sunnyvale, Calif., died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at El Camino Hospital, Mountain View.
A memorial service will be Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stillwater. Earlier services were May 21 at St. Timothy's Church, Mountain View.
She is survived by her husband, David H. Groebner formerly of New Ulm; sister, Nancy Holkonson; brothers, Dale and Gary Parker; aunt, Trudy Meyer; sisters-in-law, Marcella O'Malley of Minneapolis and Ruth Polta of Willmar; brothers-in-law, Stuart Groebner and Thomas Groebner of New Ulm and Richard Groebner, Lincoln, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Gudron Parker.
She was born March 12, 1935, in St. Paul to Stanley and Gudron Parker. She was a 1957 graduate of Macalaster College in St. Paul. She married David Groebner on Aug. 22, 1959 in St. Paul. They lived in Minneapolis, then moved to Sunnyvale in 1968. She taught in Minnesota and California for 38 years. During that time she published a book on art projects for teachers, entitled "With Art in Mind." In 1990, she retired from teaching and became a mentor emeritus to other teachers.
The family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society.
