Lloyd Gehrt, 73, formerly of Lamberton, died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
Services are Wednesday, May 22, at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Home Chapel in Springfield, with burial in the Lamberton Cemetery.
Visitation is 11-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Home chapel.
Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.
He is survived by sister, Evelyn Smith of Norcross; brother, Neil Gehrt of Cottage Grove; and many nieces and nephews.
He was born March 22, 1929, in Blomkest, to Francie E. and Lillie I. (Zamzow) Gehrt.

Alvin E. Blaser, 90, of rural Gaylord, died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at the Sibley Medical Center in Arlington.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 23, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, 7:30-8:30 a.m. Thursday at Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord and one hour before the service at the church.
He is survived by his wife Angeline Blaser of rural Gaylord.
He was born June 25, 1911, in Sibley Township, Sibley County, Minn., to Emil and Ida (Froehlich) Blaser.

Donald F. 'Don' Clyne Sr., 70, of Douglas, Neb., passed away Sunday, May 19, 2002, at Bryan Hospital, Lincoln Neb.
He was born March 11, 1932, in New Ulm, MN, the eldest son of Repass and Leona (Rubey) Clyne.
He attended schools in New Ulm. He was a member of the New Ulm National Guard 135 th Infantry unit, 1st Cavalry Division, which was called to active service January 1951, and served during the Korean War conflict. He was wounded and received the Bronze Star, a Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
Don Clyne married Marlene Bushard on May 12, 1951 in New Ulm, MN. They lived in White Bear Lake, MN for 17 years before moving to Phoenix, Ariz where he worked for Wells Fargo. They retired to Douglas, Nebraska in 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; three sons Don ("Butz") Clyne, Jr., Douglas, Neb..; Greg Clyne and wife Dawn, and Brad Clyne and wife Sherry of Glendale, Ariz.; daughter Sue Clyne and close family friend, Pam Einsphar of Lincoln, Neb.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Dorothy "Sis" Clyne; and three brothers, Ken Clyne and wife Elva; Jim Clyne and wife Barb; Dennis Clyne and wife Marge, all of New Ulm.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a young daughter, Audrey Ann "Cookie" Clyne in 1956; two sisters, Doris ( Mrs Louis Lindmeyer, Sr ) in 1982 and Barbara ( Mrs Jack Luckhardt) in 1993.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 24, at St. Martins Catholic Church, in Douglas with burial in the Douglas Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Church Thursday evening with rosary at 7 p.m., and visitation continues one hour prior to the service Friday morning. Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.
Don is loved and will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Nancy Berg, 51, of 318 North Front St., New Ulm died Sunday, May 19, 2002 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-10 a.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her parents, Robert (Bob) and Jeanne Stout of Cathedral City, Calif.; her daughter, Michelle Berg-Rosenthal of Bloomington; sons and daughter-in-law, Rick Berg, and Jamie and Gina Berg all of New Ulm; grandchildren, Stephen, Nicole, and Ashlyn Berg all of New Ulm; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Steve Healy of Bloomington, and Gretchen and Pat Mantilaca of St. Paul; brother and sister-in-law, David and Laurie Stout of Cathedral City, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Otto and Anna Dallmann and paternal grandparents, David and Zada Stout.
Nancy Berg was born July 16, 1950, in New Ulm to Robert and Jeanne (Dallmann) Stout. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1968. She has worked for Kraft Foods in New Ulm for 31 years. Nancy loved spending time with her three grandchildren.

Michael E. Ladd, 45, of Watertown, S.D., formerly of Sleepy Eye, died Monday, May 20, 2002, at Prairie Lakes Hospital, Watertown.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, at the American Reformed Church, Luverne, with burial in Luverne Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 23 at Engebretson Funeral Home, Luverne and Friday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife, Gracia; a son, Dustin of Watertown, S.D.; daughters, Amber and Angie of Luverne; and Amanda of Hatfield; brothers, George of Buffalo, Nelson of Belle Plaine, Pat of Watertown, S.D., Jim of Luverne and John of Sleepy Eye; sisters, Shirley of Waukesha, Wis., Mary Aaker of Luverne, Jackie Krzmarzick of Sleepy Eye and Vickie Simon of Sleepy Eye; and three grandchildren.
He was born Oct. 31, 1956 in Sleepy Eye to Watson and Mary (Remus) Ladd.

Leonard A. Dietz, 82, of Sleepy Eye, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye with burial in the church cemetery with full military rites.
Visitation is 4:30-8 p.m. Friday, May 24 at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. and KC rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes Dietz of Sleepy Eye; son, Robert of Sleepy Eye; daughters, Alice Chernich of Las Vegas, Nev., Diann Wiederich of Le Sueur and Mary Macho of Bloomington; six grandchildren; brothers, Joseph of Sleepy Eye and Art of Markesan, Wis.; and a sister, Agnes Modaht of La Crosse, Wis.
He was born July 2, 1919 to Joseph and Agnes (Krzmarzick) Dietz.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Stanley Draeger, 72, of Bismarck Township, MN, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson, MN.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25, 2002, at 1 p.m., from St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fernando, MN, with interment in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery in Fernando.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 8-11 a.m. at the Hantge Funeral Chapel in Brownton.
Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Stanley Gerald Draeger was born on Sept. 26, 1929, in Bismarck Township, Sibley County, MN. He was the son of Albert and Martha (Kelm) Draeger. He was baptized as an infant on Oct. 13, 1929, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fernando, and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth at Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop, MN. He received his elementary education at country school in his home area and then attended Stewart High School in Stewart, MN.
On May 15, 1952, Stanley was united in marriage to Mary Karl at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fernando. Their marriage was blessed with four daughters, Nancy, Kathy, Jolene, and Becky. Stanley and Mary made their home in Bismarck Township, where Stanley continued to farm the Draeger family farm, until his retirement in 1993. After retiring from farming, Stanley remained active working at the Stewart and Gibbon Elevators and at D & D Trucking in Buffalo Lake. Stanley and Mary shared 50 years of marriage together.
Stanley was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fernando, where he served on the church council. He also served on the McLeod County Fair Board. Playing the drums was Stanley's lifelong passion. He played with the Wendinger Brothers for many years. He enjoyed playing cards, putting together puzzles, and watching football and baseball. He also enjoyed trapping, and deer and pheasant hunting.
When he needed assistance with his daily care, Stanley became a resident at Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson, in February of 2002. He passed away there on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at the age of 72 years.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Mary Draeger of Gibbon, MN; daughters, Nancy Richards and her husband, Mike of Stewart, MN, Kathy Ewert and her husband, Jerry of Stewart, MN, Jolene Schult and her husband, Steve of Duluth, MN, Becky Boehlke and her husband, Elwin of Buffalo, MN; grandchildren, Jesse Richards, Sarah and Daniel Ewert, Kristin Blumquist, Matthew Schult, Adam Boehlke; sisters, Vernette Muffelman of Gaylord, MN, Geneva Loverude and her husband, Lester of Fairfax, MN, Marlys Ziemann and her husband, Orel of Brownton, MN; sister-in-law, LaVonne Draeger of Glencoe, MN; brother-in-law, Norbert Briese of Gibbon, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Martha Draeger; sister, Phyllis Briese; and brother, Raphael Draeger.

Esther A. Nothwehr, 84, of Gaylord, died Tuesday, May 22, 2002, at the Lakeview Home in Gaylord.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2002, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord, with burial in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Gaylord. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. today and 7:30 - 8 a.m. Saturday at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Allerson of rural Nicollet, and Karen Franzen of Aurora, Colo.; son Tom Nothwehr of Norwood Young America; brother Elmer Kuphal of Gaylord; and 10 grandchildren.
Esther A. Nothwehr was born April 14, 1918, in Alfsborg Township, Sibley County, to Emanuel and Alvina (Uecker) Kuphal.

Lawrence F. Goblirsch, 74, of Morgan, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan, with burial in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Morgan. Visitation will be 4 - 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Morgan.
He is survived by his wife Bernice of Morgan; daughters, Janice Hinrichs of Morgan; Linda Zeske of Sibley, Iowa, Brenda Runck of Fairfax, and Laurie Salo of Litchfield; 10 grand children; two great grandchildren; brothers, John of Waseca, Ervin of Long Prairie, James of Redwood Falls, and Linus of Redwood Falls; and sisters, Ruth Goelz of Franklin, and Rita Seidl of Sleepy Eye.
Lawrence Frank Goblirsch was born Dec. 28, 1927, in New Avon Township, Redwood County, to John and Katherine (Helling) Goblirsch. He served in the U.S. Army.

John La Framboise, 61, of Le Center died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at his home in Le Center.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today at United Methodist Church in Le Center, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.
He is survived by his wife Judy La Framboise of Le Center; son Bryan La Framboise of Papillon, Neb.; daughters, Melody McKay of Mendota Heights, Amy Martin of Maple Grove, and Johnna La Framboise of Kilkenny; sisters, Sharyl Mennenga of Watertown, S.D., and Jolene Mennenga of Tilden, Neb.; brother Kevin La Framboise of New Ulm; and five grandchildren.
John Francis La Framboise was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Watertown S.D., to John and Arletta (Heathcote) La Framboise.

Lyle G. Schei, 74, of Wanda, formerly of Redwood Falls, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Springfield Medical Center.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in Wanda City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 8-11 a.m. Monday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield, and Monday at the church, two hours prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of Wanda; daughters, Deb Kramer of Redwood Falls, Sheryl Steinfurth of San Ramon, Calif. and Wendy Siebenahler of Luverne; sons, Rick of Redwood Falls, Gordon of Albuquerque, N.M. and Scot of Wanda; 22 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
He was born July 29, 1927 in Lismore Township, Nobles County, Minnesota to Albert and Nellie (Olson) Schei.

Lyle Boehlke, 87, of Buffalo Lake, died Friday, May 24, 2002 at the Hutchinson Community Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at Zion United Methodist Church, Buffalo Lake with burial in the Zion Evangelical Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hughes Funeral Home, Hector and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the service.

Cleveland M. "Cleve" Dalueg, 82, of Sleepy Eye and formerly of 920 North State Street in New Ulm died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm City Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the New Ulm Veterans Organizations.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday and from 7:30 until 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and then will continue on Tuesday for one hour prior to the time of service at the church. There will be a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He is survived by cousins, Shirley and Ray Bjarnason of Golden, Colorado, Marietta Zeise of New Ulm, Merle Mae Fritsche of Springfield, Richard Imberg of Morristown, Charles Imberg of Mesa, Arizona, and by other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cleve was born on April 12, 1920 in New Ulm to Martin and Alma (Imberg) Dalueg. He graduated from New Ulm High School. On Oct. 21, 1941 he enlisted in the United States Army and served time in central Europe. While in the Army he went to Dental Technician School. On Feb. 4, 1946 he was honorably discharged from the Army and moved back to New Ulm where he opened up his own business, Dalueg Dental Labratory. He operated the business up until his retirement. In 1994 he moved to the Countryside Apartments in Sleeepy Eye. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in New Ulm, the Seifert-Bianchi American Legion Post #132, the Albert Nagel Post #1648 V.F.W. both in New Ulm, the Charity Lodge #98 A.F.A.M; the St. Peter Chapter #22 in St. Peter; the DeMolay Commandery #26 K.T. in New Ulm; the New Ulm Shrine Club; and the Zurah Shrine Temple in Minneapolis.

Orval F. Dietz, 76, of 813 South Franklin in New Ulm died Friday, May 24, 2002 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wed-nesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the New Ulm Veterans Organizations.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Orval is survived by his wife, Sophie Dietz of New Ulm; a daughter and son-in-law, Annamarie and Ron Wilfahrt of New Ulm; grandsons, Aaron Wilfahrt and his wife, Jill of Fairmont, Eric Wilfahrt of New Ulm; and a great grandson, Bradley James Wilfahrt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was born on Feb. 9, 1926 in New Ulm to George and Annie (Bauermeister) Dietz. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was in the 12th Armored Halftrack Division. He married Sophie Zoglmann on May 17, 1952 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. He was manager of Iverson Manufacturing in New Ulm for many years. He also was assistant manager and projectionist during his career in many of the theaters in New Ulm and had been working in movie theaters since the age of 17. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm; a member of the Seifert-Bianchi American Legion Post #132 and the Albert Nagel V.F.W. Post #1648 both in New Ulm. In lieu of flowers his family prefers memorials be given to donor's choice.

David N. Draeger, 62, of Morgan, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at his home in Redwood Falls.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at St. John Lutheran Church, Morgan with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home, Redwood Falls.
He is survived by daughters, Deborah Kottschade of Redwood Falls and Jennifer Stratton of Woodbury; a son, Chad of Redwood Falls; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Delores Tweet of Perham.
He was born March 3, 1940 in Morgan to Henry and Viola (Voeltz) Draeger. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1967.
