Dorothy Reiff, 79, of Farmington, died on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003 in Farmington.
Services are at Bethel Mennonite Church, Mt. Lake, Saturday, 10:30 a.m.
Visitation is at Sturm Funeral Home, St. James, Friday, 5-7 p.m. and an hour prior to services.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph Reiff, Jr. of Montgomery, Ala, Lester Reiff of Eden Prairie; a daughter, Nancy Watrud of Lakeville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1923, to Henry and Mabel (Beisecker) Jungas in Mt. Lake.

Ronald Johnson, age 74, of Springfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield, with burial in Springfield Cemetery. Pastor Carl Seamon and Chaplain Mary Pauluk will be officiating. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. Visitation will continue 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, MN. Ronald Gene Johnson was born March 22, 1929, in Ada, to David and Bertha (Torske) Johnson. He graduated from Ada High School in 1947 and North Dakota State University in 1951. He taught vocational agriculture in Detroit Lakes before joining the Navy. He married Audrey Hetland on July 12, 1953, in Ada, Minnesota. After military service in California, Ron did graduate work at the University of Minnesota. In 1954 the couple moved to Springfield, where Ron became a vocational agriculture instructor at Springfield High School.
In 1957 Ron joined the staff of Vigorena Feeds as a nutritionist. He was named sales manager
in 1963 and general manager in 1976. Ron retired from Vigorena Feeds in 1991. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield. Ron sang in the choir, served on the council and various committees, and had special interest in stewardship and missions. He served on the Springfield school board for 12 years, was a member of the American Legion, the Springfield Lions Club, the Gideons, and was a Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed music, time at the lake, walleye fishing, pheasant hunting, golf, and other sports, but he found the greatest pleasure in his family.
Ron is survived by his wife Audrey of Springfield; his four children and their families, Kurt and Anne-Lise and their son Peder of New Ulm, Jeffrey and Kirsten and their sons, Matthew and Nathaniel of Sudbury, Mass., Christopher and Katherine and their daughters, Annika, Sarah, and Hannah of Elk River, and Mark Johnson of Northfield; a sister, Jocelyn; and sisters-in-law, Glenna and Betty of Ada and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Merton and Delford (Punk); and by two of Punk's children, Barbara and Paul.

Harold M. "Milt" Barck, 76, of Golden Valley, formerly of New Ulm, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Washburn-McReavy, Edina Chapel. VIsition will be 2 - 3 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.
Harold is surivived by his wife Arlene; sons, Terry of Northfield, and Robert of Vadnais Heights; daughter Jacqueline of Maple Grove; three grandchildren; brother Calvin; and sister Jean Hansen.
Harold M. Barck was born Sept. 30, 1927, to Harold and Esther Barck in St. Paul. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.

Rosella E. Grochow, 83, of Fairfax, formerly of Gaylord, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Country View Estates in Fairfax.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Gaylord, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord and will continue one hour prior to service at the church on Monday.
Rosella is survived by her husband Alvin Grochow of Fairfax; daughter Brenda Gruenhagen of New Ulm; and one granddaughter.
Rosella E. Grochow was born June 24, 1920, to Fred and Selma (Spaude) Schwarzrock.

Thomas "Tom" P. Hansen, 55, of Fairfax, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at his home in Fairfax.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services at the funeral chapel in Fairfax.
Thomas Peter Hansen was born Nov. 16, 1948, to Ivan and Isabel (Thelen) Hansen in Minneapolis.
Tom is survived by his brothers, Allen Hansen of Crookston and Kenneth Hansen of Burnsville; and sister Carol Gibbs of Minneapolis.

Phyllis Ruth Hemingway, 76, of Hayfield, died Nov. 23, 2003, in Hayfield.
Services were 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Hayfield.
She is survived by sons, Porter J. Hemingway, of New Ulm, and James L. Hemingway, of Nixa, Mo.
She was born Sept. 24, 1927, In hayfield to John and Anna (Aarhus) Lee.

Ronald Ries, 57, of rural New Ulm, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at the New Ulm Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at St. George Catholic Church, West Newton Township, Nicollet County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. A parish prayer service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Ronald Raymond Ries, the son of Albert and Elsie (Miller) Ries, was born Jan. 21, 1946, in New Ulm. He grew up on the family farm in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County. The farm has been in the family for 110 years. Ron attended New Ulm Cathedral High School, graduating in 1964, and served in the Army National Guard. He was united in marriage to Barbra Adams on Oct.14, 1967. He spent his lifetime working on the family dairy farm with his brother, David and son Jason.
Ron was a member of St. George Catholic Church. He always remained young at heart and never tired of playing baseball or basketball with all the children around him.
Survivors include his wife Barbra of rural New Ulm; daughters, Jackie Forst and her husband Glenn of Gibbon, and Jennifer Vorwerk and her husband Christopher of New Ulm; son Jason Ries and his wife Cindy of New Ulm; six grandchildren, Megan, Benjamin, Molly and Brody Forst, Alex and Allyson Vorwerk; brothers, Maury Ries and his wife Clara of Detroit Lakes, and David Ries and his wife Karen of New Ulm; sisters, LaVonne Grussendorf and her husband Bobby of New Ulm, Sharon Johnson and her husband Earl of Dunnell, and Mardell Stueber and her husband Larry of New Ulm; sisters-in-law, Patricia Adams and friend, Dennis Hallaway of Eagle
Lake, and Cathy Adams and her daughters Sara and Emily of New Ulm; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law Fred Adams; and his mother-in-law Geraldine Adams.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

Wilbur Braun, 78, of Stewart, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at the Glencoe Regional Health Services, Long Term Care.
Mass of Christian burial will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. today at the Hughes Funeral Home in Stewart, and will continue one hour prior to service at the church on Monday.
Wilbur is survived by his sons, Wilbur Braun, Jr. of Redwood Falls, John Braun of Redwood Falls, Russel Braun of Brownton, and Ralph Braun of Bird Island; daughters, Elaine Molenaar of Renville, Monica Becker of Brownton, Rosemary Braun of Willmar, Marlene Braun of Hutchinson, Barb Pichotta of Stewart, Sharon Redman of Hector, and Karen Braun of Glencoe; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother Joseph Braun of Danube; and sisters, Verna Anderson of Blomkest, and Loretta Rachel of California.
Wilbur Nicholas Braun was born Feb. 20, 1925, to Joseph and Viola (Zander) Braun in Sleepy Eye.

Marvin H. Davis, 91, of Saint James, formerly of Southerland, Iowa, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at Trimont Health Care Center in Trimont.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Meriden Evangelical Free Church In Meriden, Iowa, with interment at Cedar Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.
Marvin is survived by a daughter, Donna Wyatt of St. James; two grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Gerdes of Parker, S.D.
Marvin was born to Howell and Emma (Gould) Davis on August 12, 1912, at Parker, S.D.

Virginia L. Goelz, 80, of Redwood Falls, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Center in Redwood Falls.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tursday at St. Catherine's Church in Redwood Falls. with burial in the Morton City Cemetery,
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Goelz of Redwood Falls; sons, John of Franklin, and Francis of Hermosa, S.D., and two grandchildren.
She was born March 8, 1923, in Beaver Falls Township, Renville County, to Charles and Ida (Tretbar) Buscho.

Craig J. Sallstrom, age 50, of Burnsville, left for heaven Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003. He waged an amazing 17-month battle with pancreatic cancer, giving all of us who loved him more time.
UM grad, AGR Fraternity, 25-year career as Exec. Dir. MCPR (MN Crop Production Retailers).
Forever in the hearts of his wife Mary (Coleman); children, Emily, Grant, Laura and Megan; mother Delpha; brother Kevin (Susan); sisters, Mary Evans (Rand), and Carol Stinar (Joe).
We've all be forever changed by witnessing his faith in God and the peace he felt in knowing he was going home. There he joins his father John.

Theodore "Ted" Stadick, 95, of New Ulm died Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2003 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The St. Joseph's Catholic Aid Council will pray the rosary at 6 p.m. and there will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. both Sunday at the funeral home.
Ted is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Lester and Karen Stadick, Melvin and Delrose Stadick, Dennis and Mary Stadick, all of New Ulm; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, John Stadick, a resident of the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm, Benno Stadick of New Ulm and Leo Stadick of Downers Grove, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Florence on January 19, 1995; brothers, Herman, Louie and Conrad Stadick; sisters, Caroline Stadick, Mary "Mamie" Waibel and Jennie Tauer.
Ted was born December 18, 1907 in Sigel Township, Brown County to John T. and Emelia (Janni) Stadick. He married Florence Drexler on November 4, 1936 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles. After marriage they farmed in Sigel Township, Brown County for 33 years. They retired and moved to New Ulm in 1969. Ted was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, he was a founding member of the Searles Baseball Association, and a past member of the District #68 (Sigel Township) School Board. When Ted was farming in Sigel Township he operated a sorghum press for his family and neighbors. He also enjoyed woodworking.

Dorothy Theresia (nee Dybedal) Stinger, age 82, of Richfield, formerly of Gibbon, passed away Nov. 23, 2003.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dr. Robert G. Stinger. She will be deeply missed by her children, Monyean Johnson (Byron), Bernhard Stinger (Ellen), Angeline Edgar (Jim), and Brian Stinger (Linda); 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at the First Memorial Waterson Chapel in Minneapolis. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Allina Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Lloyd Hedman, 77, of Lamberton, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Westbrook Health Center in Westbrook.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Old Westbrook Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at Storden Senior Citizens Center on Monday from 4- 8 p.m., and will continue one hour before services Tuesday at the church.
Arrangements with Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton
Survivors include his wife Elaine of rural Lamberton; son Keith Hedman of Washington, D.C.; two granddaughters; brother Gordon Hedman of North Mankato; and sister Gladys Mathiason of Walnut Grove.
He was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Storden Township, Cottonwood County, to Alfred and Olga (Gustad) Hedman.

Helen (Dix) Morency, 85, of Wabasso, formerly of Redwood Falls, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at Wabasso Health Care Center.
Funeral service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec, 2, at Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton with burial in Redwood Falls Cemetery
Visitation is 10-11 a.m., Tuesday at Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.
Helen Dix was born on July 30, 1918 in Faribault.

Martha Nelson, 91, of Saint James, died on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003 at St. James Health Services Hospital in St. James.
Service is 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3, at at West Sveadahl Lutheran Church.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James; continues 7:30 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and also one hour before service at the church.
She was born to Martin and Anna (Karlsson) Gustafson on Dec. 19, 1911, at Kisa, Sweden.
