Mike Young, 65, of Redwood Falls, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center, Redwood Falls.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be in Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Friday at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service, Redwood Falls.
He is survived by daughters, Debra Werpy of Marshall, Kristin Wolff of Redwood Falls, Kelly Olson of Savage and Connie Einck of Redwood Falls; sisters, Lorraine Iverson of Montevideo and Phyllis Cross of Buffalo.
He was born Aug. 18, 1938, in Redwood Falls to Burgess and Thelma (Woodford) Young.

Eldon Dolly, 84, of Ridgeway on German, in New Ulm, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Father John Richter officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday and 7:30-9:30 a.m., Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
The St. Patrick's Council 1076 Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary at 6:30 p.m., and there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Eldon is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Don Steinhaus, Kathy and Steve Weyer, and Mary and Charles Koch all of New Ulm; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Carol Dolly of Eden Prairie; a daughter-in-law, Rosie (Dolly) Cordes of New Ulm; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lola Vance of LaPorte, Ethel Sens and LaValle Helder both of Mankato; and a brother and sister-in-law, Orville and Lucy Dolly of New Ulm.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Flora, on April 26, 2001; two sons, Ronald Dolly in 1968 and Tom Dolly, in 2001; and sisters Doris Batzer and Norma Hewitt.
Eldon E. Dolly, the son of Joseph and Linda (Ruhberg) Dolly was born on Oct. 16, 1919, in Mitchell, South Dakota.
He attended school in Woonsocket, South Dakota.
On February 3, 1942 he was united in marriage to Flora Hauer at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm.
Eldon had worked as a delivery man for New Ulm Dairy. He worked at New Ulm Manufacturing.
For over 33 years, from 1946 to 1979, he worked as a livestock buyer for Hormel Company.
From 1967 to 1980 Eldon and his brother, Orville, were in a partnership owning and operating the Robo Car Wash in New Ulm.
During his working career and in retirement Eldon enjoyed doing woodworking on the side.
He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, the St. Patrick's Council 1076, Knights of Columbus, and a past president of Turner Halle in New Ulm.
Eldon enjoyed Old Tyme Music and was the drummer for the "Ready Mix Band" in New Ulm for many years.
He also had a love for gardening and fishing.

Louise Fecker, 90, of Springfield, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Memorial services are 11 a.m., saturday, Dec. 27, at St. John Lutheran Home chapel.
Friends may call on the family for one hour before the service at the chapel.
Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.

Arlene S. Hildreth
Services are 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton; and continues one hour before services at the church.
She is survived by husband Gene of Lamberton; daughter Susan Paskoff of Lamberton; sons David Hildreth of Mitchell, S.D., Michael Hildreth of Leaf River, Ill., Patrick Hildreth of Marshall, Va., Kelly Hildreth of Rockford, Ill; brothers, Donald Larsen of Windom, Dean Larsen of Holiday Island, Mo; sister Dorothy Extein of Sun City, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
Arlene Susan Hildreth was born March 1, 1933 in Windom to Chris and Marie (Johnson) Larsen.

Esther B. Kastens, 86, of New Ulm, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at the St. Peter Community Hospital in St. Peter.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Thomas Henning officiating.
Burial will be in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Nicollet Township, Nicollet County.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday; and 7:30-8:30 a.m., Saturday; at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm; and continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Saturday.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Barbara Dallmann of Greenfield, Wisconsin; granddaughters and their husbands, Lisa and Larry Bovee of Appleton, Wisconsin, Stacy and Dan Alexander of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Amy and Matt Miskowski of New Ulm; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew Roger, Matthew Hunter, and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alma Kastens, Amanda Stolt, and Anna Dahms; brothers, Harold Kastens, Ed Kastens, Wilbert Kastens, and Walter Kastens.
Esther was born on April 30, 1917, in Nicollet to Frederick and Othilie (Schwartz) Kastens.
She worked as a waitress at the City Cafe in Sleepy Eye for many years until moving to New Ulm where she worked for Kraft.
She moved to St. Peter where she became co-owner of a family owned-restaurant and then working several years at Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter.
She retired and moved back to New Ulm. She was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

Edna Kolander, 91, of New Ulm, died Dec. 24, 2003, at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Services will be held at a later date in New Ulm with graveside services at the Lakefield Lutheran Cemetery.
Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm is handling arrangements.

Rose Markgraf, 83, of Buffalo Lake, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at the Hutchinson Community Hospital
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Friday at Hughes Funeral Home, Stewart and Saturday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her children, Edward of Hutchinson, Robert of Watkins, James of Hector, Karen Swenson of Hutchinson, Carl of Arvada, Colo., Lynette Rosenau of Lester Prairie and Steven of Watertown; 37 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Suppes of Silver Springs, Fla.; and a twin sister, Katherine Marquardt of Grinnell, Iowa.
She was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Las Animas, Colo, to Andrew and Mary (Etzel) Suppes.

Jean Nosbush, 75 of Fairfax, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at the Fairfax Community Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at 11 a.m., at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, from 4-8: p.m., and Saturday, from 9:30 -11 a.m., at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, in Fairfax.
There will be a rosary service at 4:30 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m., both on Friday night, at the church.
Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax, is handling the arrangements.
Jean (Fischer) Nosbush was born August 20, 1928, in Brown County, Minn. She was the daughter of Bernard and Mary (Lenertz) Fischer.
Jean was united in marriage with Ambrose Nosbush on October 26, 1955, at the Church of the Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth, MN.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax, where she sang in the choir and was active with the St. Ann's Aid and with the Christian Mothers.
She was also a member of Nicollet County Extension Group. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Joan, in infancy, and by brothers, Bernard and Robert Fischer.
Jean is survived by her husband, Ambrose Nosbush of Fairfax; sons and daughters-in-law, Daryl and Jane Nosbush of Fairfax, Doug and Louette Nosbush of Fairfax; son, Jeffrey Nosbush of Minneapolis; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Maurice Cook of Inver Grove Heights, and Judy and Greg Fesenmaier of Burnsville; 13 grandchildren, Jesse, Kate and Brian Nosbush; Adam, Amanda and Keith Nosbush; Ben, Emily and Dan Cook; and Kristyn, John, Brianna and Mark Fesenmaier; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Pat Fischer of Denver, Colo., and Jerry and Diana Fischer of Springfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn and James Klein of Wilmington, N.C., and Phyllis and Phillip Shaw of Traverse City, Mich.; sister-in-law, Doris Fischer of Ocean Side, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ervin G. DeMuth, 80, of Morgan, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at the Redwood Area Hospital
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Morgan, with a prayer service at 6 p.m., and at the church Tuesday one hour before the service.
He is survived by his wife, Burdell of Morgan, sons: Gary DeMuth of Albuquerque, N.M., Brian DeMuth of Glen Burnie, Md.; sisters; Gertrude Anderson of St. Paul, and Florence Kocjancich of St. Anthony; brothers; Bill DeMuth of New Brighton, Leonard DeMuth of Cottage Grove, Oliver DeMuth Blaine, and Harold, Gerald and Carroll "Butch" DeMuth, all of of Long Prairie
He was born Dec. 10, 1923 in Long Prairie, to Anton and Mary (Brunnette) DeMuth
He served In the U.S. Army from 1944 until 1946.

Louise Fecker, 90, of Springfield, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. today, Dec. 27 at St. John Lutheran Home Chapel in Springfield. Interment will be at Springfield City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m.. at the chapel.
Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.
Louise Caroline Fecker was born March, 23, 1913 in Burnstown Township, Brown Co., to Louis and Augusta (Kieper) Bloemke.

Edythe A. Foster, 95, of Springfield, died on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003 at the Springfield Medical Center.
Service 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at United Methodist Church in Springfield.
Interment will be at the Springfield City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday at the church.
Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Pursley of Red Wing; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Edythe Adell Foster was born Aug. 21, 1908 in Springfield to George and Emma (Wenzel) Bauman.

Ethel L. Frazzell, 91, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at Rennes Health Center in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be held today, Dec. 27, at 6:15 p.m., at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Neenah, Wis. Spring Interment will be in the Clear Lake Norweigian Lutheran Cemetery, Severance Township, Sibley County.
Local arrangements are being handled by the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon.
Survivors include sons, Michael Frazzell of Neenah, Victor Frazzell of Milwaukee, and James Frazzell of Kansas City, Mo.
She was born Oct. 20, 1912 in Gibbon to Ole and Ida (Liaaen) Whim.

Walter 'Wally' Gulden, 89, of 1021 North Garden in New Ulm died Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 - 7 p.m. Sunday and from 7:30 - 10 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary at 5:30 p.m. and there will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. both Sunday at the funeral home.
Wally is survived by his wife, Louise Gulden of New Ulm; sons and daughters-in-law, Delmar and Sharon Gulden of Bloomington, Ted and Terry Gulden of Naperville, Illinois; grandsons, Scott Gulden of Burnsville, Brett Gulden of Savage; and great grandchildren, Michael Gulden and Andreha Gulden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 14 brothers and four sisters.
Wally was born on September 19, 1914 in Cottonwood Township, Brown County to Gerhard and Cornelia (Fischer) Gulden.
On May 4, 1937 he married Louise Saffert at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm.
After marriage they farmed in Cottonwood Township, Brown County and the St. George area for eight years and then owned and operated a grocery store in Seaforth for two years.
They then moved to New Ulm and he joined his nephew, Florian Schnobrich, in the Skelly Gas and Bulk Oil business in Searles from 1948 until 1979 when he retired.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards and his family.
He was a 60-year member of the St. Patrick's Council #1076, Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.

Edna Kolander, 91, of New Ulm, died December 24, 2003 at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Funeral services will be held this spring at Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Burial and graveside service will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Lakefield.
A notice of date and time of service will be published in advance. Schmucker Funeral Service of New Ulm is handling the arrangements.
Edna Adelea Justine Kolander, the daughter of Edward and Emma (Rossow) Kolander, was born August 20, 1912 in Lakefield, MN.
After graduating from Lutheran Elementary, Public High School and Teacher's Training in Lakefield, she taught in rural schools in Jackson County for four years.
Edna later was employed by Central Telephone Co. in Lakefield as a switchboard operator.
She helped train new operators in a number of telephone offices in southern Minnesota.
Her last position was with Centel Corp. in Farmington where she was an office supervisor.
In 1977, Edna retired and moved to New Ulm, residing in the Sunset Apartments.
She became a resident of Oak Hills Living Center in March 2000. Edna was an avid volunteer in the community.
She was a member of the Golden Age Club, R.S.V.P., and a charter member of Community and Seniors Together, giving the organization its name CAST.
She received numerous awards for her work, including a special citation from the late Minnesota Governor Rudy Perpich.
Edna was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
Survivors include her sister, Emmeline Page of New Ulm; nephews, David Kolander and his wife Pat of Scottsdale, AZ, Robert Page of Dallas, TX, Curtis Page of Denver, CO; nieces, Diane Loomer and her husband Richard of Vancouver, BC, Lois Page Pulliam and her husband Brad of Glenn Heights, TX; great nephews, Christopher and Oliver Grant of Glenn Heights, TX; and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by six brothers.
