HANNIBAL - Martha Sue Hawkins, 92, of Hannibal, died at 3:15 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2004, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. The Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in New London.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hawkins was born March 12, 1912, in rural Ralls County to Daniel and Lula Lee Letcher.
She was married to Jacob C. Hawkins in September 1930, in New London. He preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1979.
Survivors include two sons, Guilford Hawkins (Marilyn) of Des Moines, Iowa, and John Hawkins (Chris) of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter, Eva Erby (Henry) of New London; one sister-in-law, Mary Braxton of Hannibal; nieces and nephews; and some special caregivers at Beth Haven Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by one son, Harry Lee; four sisters; five brothers; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hawkins was a homemaker. She attended Faith Tabernacle Church of God and Christ in Vandalia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Unit at Beth Haven Nursing Home.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Hawkins' grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roy McQuay, Tim Ellis, Keith Ganaway, Ronald Thomas, Rodney Wells and Shannon Jackson.
Wilbur T. Dusenbury
Hannibal
Aug. 21, 1923 - June 4, 2004
HANNIBAL - Wilbur T. Dusenbury, 80, of Hannibal, died at 8 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2004, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. The Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dusenbury was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Pike County, Ill., to Frederick and Sylvia Spencer Dusenbury.
He was married to Helen Hudelson. She preceded him in death March 20, 1981.
Survivors include two sisters, Trulla Smith and husband, Lacy, of Glasford, Ill., and Verta Stearns of Barry, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers.
Mr. Dusenbury was a retired foreman at Atlantic Building Systems in Hannibal.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Monroe City
Feb. 4, 1913-June 5, 2004
MONROE CITY - Elma Virginia Ketterer, 91, of Monroe City, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Monroe City Manor Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Garner Funeral Chapel in Monroe City. The Rev. Steve Goughnour will officiate. Burial will be at St. Jude Cemetery in Monroe City.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ketterer was born Feb. 4, 1913, in Ely to Homer and Ruby Stephens Corder.
She was married to Leslie Truman Jarman on June 30, 1932, at the Hannibal-LaGrange College Chapel. He died Sept. 7, 1967.
She was married to Norman Franklin Matthew Ketterer on April 4, 1968, in Monroe City. He died in November 1979.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Kennedy and husband, Paul, Des Moines, Iowa, and Norma Couch of Quincy, Ill.; one son, Richard Jarman of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, Rodney Couch, Jeffrey Couch, Lesley McGilligan, Michael Jarman, Jacklyn McNutt, Martin Kennedy, Karen Kennedy, Mark Kennedy and Craig Kennedy; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Naomi Barnes.
Mrs. Ketterer attended the West Ely Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Monroe City High School with the Class of 1931. She w as a former employee of Henderson Produce Co. and the Brown Shoe Factory in Palmyra. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monroe City. She enjoyed the Monroe City Nutrition Center, quilting, camping and making afghans.
Memorials may be made to the Monroe City Nutrition Center.
Pallbearers will be Martin, Craig and Mark Kennedy, Rodney and Jeffrey Couch, Michael Jarman, Kenneth Barnes and Oral Lee Barnes.

MEMPHIS, Mo. - Eric Andrew Myers, 29, of Columbia, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at the University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. His parents are Tommy and Jean Myers of Memphis, Mo., and Kathy and Nick Bo Gannon of Hannibal.

BOWLING GREEN - Pauline G. Daniels, 94, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Kirks Funeral Chapel in Bowling Green. The Rev. Donald Amelung will officiate. Burial will be at Bowling Green Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services today the funeral home.
Mrs. Daniels was born May 10, 1910, in Bowling Green to Andrew and Elizabeth Kirk Ogden.
She was married to Clarence Daniels. He died Jan. 29, 1963.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Raymond Ogden of Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Mason Ogden, Hurley Ogden, Robert Ogden, George Ogden, Nora Staton and Jessie Kirk.
Mrs. Daniels was a homemaker.
Pallbearers will be Ron Ogden, Shirlee Edmond, Alan Ogden, Michael Ogden, Janice Ellison and Jeff Ogden.
Larry M. (Perk) Gollaher

Louisiana - Larry M. (Perk) Gollaher, 56, of New Canton, Ill., died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Francis Sheppard will officiate. Burial will be at Morey Cemetery in New Canton.
Mr. Gollaher was born Feb. 18, 1948, in Pittsfield, Ill., to Millard P. Cecil and Inez Florence Armstrong Gollaher.
Survivors include two brothers, Gary Gollaher of New Canton and Paul Gollaher Sr. of Frankford; three sisters, Mildred White of Pleasant Hill, Ill., Beulah Fink and Edna Gollaher, both of St. Louis; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Gollaher and Guy Gollaher; and two sisters, Betty Bowlingcamper and Julia Sterling.
Mr. Gollaher attended school in New Canton and Kinderhook, Ill.

William (Billie) Eugene Banes

CANTON - William (Billie) Eugene Banes, 67, of Canton, died Friday, June 4, 2004, at his home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton. The Rev. Jim Reynolds will officiate.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at Davis Funeral Home in Canton, with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mr. Banes was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Clifty, Ark., to Van Wilson and Margaret Evelyn Yeager Banes.
Survivors include five sons, Bill Banes and Steve Banes, both of Odessa, Donald Banes of Weaver, Iowa, Michael Banes of Kahoka and Matthew Banes and wife, Leslie, of Keokuk, Iowa; one daughter, Evelyn Moore and husband, Matthew, of Kahoka; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Banes had been a machinist by trade. He was a Baptist by faith.
