HANNIBAL - Clinton Kenneth Dohrn, 70, of New London, died at 7:35 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at the First Baptist Church in New London. The Rev. Jay Stinson will officiate. Burial, with military honors presented by the Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post 55, will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at the Grand View Funeral Home.
Mr. Dohrn was born May 3, 1934, in Woodbury, Pa., to Francis Andrew and Mazy Rightenour Dohrn.
He was married to Bonnie Sue Nelson on March 10, 1956. She preceded him in death in 2000. He then was married to Judy Capp in 2001. She survives.
Other survivors include one stepson, Max Capp and wife, Anna, of Hannibal; three daughters, Tina Stallard and husband, Carl, and Jodie Gordon and husband, Shawn, both of Hannibal, and Wendi Cook and husband, Steve, of Columbia: five sisters, Jane Dively of Bedford, Pa., Myrtle Swope and Naomi Lynn, both of Martinsburg, Pa., Wilma Dobranic of Mentor, Ohio, and Clara Colyer of Hopewell, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Nicole Dohrn, Jordan Dohrn, Tyler Dohrn, Nikkita Dohrn, Clinton Gordon, Shawnee Gordon, Myranda Cook and Bethany Capp, (Bap's Girl).
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Viola May Dohrn; and one brother, Edward Joseph Dohrn.
Mr. Dohrn was a truck driver for Leeser Transportation, a member of the First Baptist Church of New London, Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post No. 55 of Hannibal, and the Disabled American Veterans. He served as a councilman for the city of New London and was a commissioner for the New London Volunteer Fire Department. He helped establish the first responder program. In New London he was known as the "tomato and melon man," and was one of the Casey's Gang.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Grandy, Mike Lawzano Sr., DeWayne Melloway, Cleve Snodgrass, Don Bangert and Ken Nichols.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Nelson, Leo Hill, Bob Martin, Terry Martin, Carl Allison and Ted Broemmer.
Memorials may be given to Quincy Humane Society, P.O. Box 1033, Quincy, Ill. 62301 or the First Baptist Church of New London.
Virginia Ilene Crabtree
Hannibal

MONROE CITY - Virginia Ilene Crabtree, 60, of Hannibal and formerly of Stoutsville, died at 10:36 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at the home of her daughter in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Garner Funeral Chapel in Monroe City. The Rev. Dorothy Reed will officiate. Burial will be at Stoutsville Cemetery in Stoutsville.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crabtree was born Dec. 31, 1943, in Middletown to Wesley F. and Zelma C. Knollhof Nobe.
She was married to Jerry W. Totten in 1960. She was later married to Howard Ray Crabtree on Dec. 18, 1982, in Stoutsville. He preceded her in death Aug. 17, 2001.
Survivors include one son, James R. Totten of Stoutsville; one daughter, Diana S. Foubester and husband, John, of Hannibal; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, James R. Nobe; one stepbrother, Morris Knollhoff of Quincy, Ill.; one stepsister, Helen Francis of Kansas City, Mo.; and a special friend, Jerry W. Totten.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Jeremy Haerr.
Mrs. Crabtree attended Palmyra Grade School and graduated from Hannibal High School. She was a member of Riverview Nazarene Church of Hannibal. She was a certified nurse's aide where she had worked at St. Mary's Hospital of St. Louis and for several years at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Pallbearers will be Mike Minor, Les Minor, Bill Couch, Edward Nobe, Travis Gerard and Bill Moutray.

HANNIBAL - Stella A. Reeves, 90, of Hannibal, died at 8:52 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Fountain Court Nursing Home in Hannibal.
The James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today, Dec. 4, at James and Gahr Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services today at the funeral home in Salem.
Mrs. Reeves was born July 7, 1914.
She was married to Clarence Reeves. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Survivors include nine children; 29 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

PALMYRA - Estella R. Thomas, 87, of Palmyra, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palmyra. Father Christopher Smith will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Palmyra.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.
Mrs. Thomas was born March 4, 1917, in Quincy, Ill., to William and Mary Schrand Meyer.
She was married to Nicholas A. Thomas on Aug. 21, 1946, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Quincy, Ill. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two nephews, Thomas G. Meyer of Lebanon, Conn., and William W. Meyer of Milwaukee, Ore.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Meyer.
Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Quincy High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Church Altar Society.

WINFIELD - Mildred Jonell Kittle, 66, of Foley, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at her home near Foley.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. The Rev. Mike Ryan will officiate. Burial will be at Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kittle was born July 8, 1938, in Elmer, Okla., to Elbert Miller (Buck) and Ollie Buena Woolley Toombs.
She was married to Ermel Lester (Paul) Kittle on Aug. 12, 1956, in Clayton, N.M. He preceded her in death June 14, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Kittle of Foley and Tommy Kittle of Lawton, Okla.; one daughter, Donna Hook of Foley; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Toombs of Shallowater, Texas; and one sister, Linda Caldwell of Walsh, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bob Toombs; one sister, Juanita Montoya; one daughter, Lanita Jo Kelly; and one grandson, Todd A. Kelly.
Donald Arthur (Pop) Cummings

CANTON - Donald Arthur (Pop) Cummings, 72, of Canton, died at 1:32 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton. Father Richard Frank will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton with full military honors by Otto Bruner Post No. 170 of the American Legion of Canton.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Davis Funeral Home in Canton.
Mr. Cummings was born Dec. 10, 1931, in Quincy, Ill., to James and Francis-Smith Cummings.
He was married to Stella Mae Stanbridge in April 1952 in La Grange. She preceded him in death in March 1984. He was married to Patricia L. Hoyes-Hardin in September 1985, in Canton. She survives.
Other survivors include six children, James Cummings, Robert Cummings, Randall Cummings, Pamela Martz, Cheryl Hall, and Tricia Madsen; six grandchildren; four sisters; nieces; and nephews.
