Andrew (Andy) S. Fluhart, age 23, of Carrollton, MO, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Andy was born on April 20, 1982, in Skokie, IL, to John P. Fluhart and Dana L. Reimer. He attended the Carrollton Elementary Schools and graduated from Carrollton High School in 2000. Andy's notable achievements while at Carrollton High include Lt. Governor of the MO-ARK District Key Club Division 2, Governor of the Missouri-Arkansas Key Club (Kiwanis Sponsored Service organization), and raising in excess of $16,500 for the Children's Miracle Network.
Andy attended the University of Missouri at Columbia from 2000 to the present. While at MU Andy was heavily involved with the Missouri Students Association. Andy served as Assistant Clerk, Vice Chair for Student Affairs Committee, as well as, Senator. Andy was in the midst of running for MSA President when the cancer relapsed.
During his involvement with STRIPES, a student-run designated driver program, he served as the first non-founder to serve as Director In Charge of nightly operations, as well as, Assistant Director.
Andy spent the hot summer months of 2002 welcoming new and transfer students to MU as Summer Welcome leader. For the past three years Andy has been active in promoting education about rape and sexual assault as a Peer Rape Educator. The Peer Rape Educators give a variety of educational presentations to increase awareness at Mizzou about rape and sexual assault such as how to help a friend and predatory drugs.
In 2002, Andy served as a steering committee member for the Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon and was selected Tri-Director for the following year. In January 2003, two months after being name Tri-Director, Andy was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare cancer. Despite the grueling chemotherapy, Andy maintained his active status on campus by continuing his service as a Tri-Director and regularly volunteering for the STRIPES program while still receiving treatments.
Andy was recognized as an honor tap for Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honorary, and one of the six Tap Day societies. Andy had served as their President since April of 2004. In October 2004, he was named as a finalist for the lance Armstrong Foundation Junior Survivorship Award. He also was named to the Homecoming Royalty Top 10. Andy was very proud of his involvement and accomplishments at Mizzou and was quoted as saying that it was his wish "to live a full and productive life, fulfilling to him and in service to others."
Andy was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carrollton.
Andy is survived by his mother and father; his grandparents, Richard (Dick) and Eileen Harris of Carrollton; his brother and wife, Anthony (Tony) and Megan Fluhart of Raytown, MO; his sisters Whitney and Kendall Reimer of Carrollton. He is further survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Godparents, Duncan and Carole Weaver of Plymouth, MA.
Funeral services for Andy S. Fluhart will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, September 5,2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Carrollton. Relatives and friends are welcome at the Gibson Funeral Home, in Carrollton, on Sunday September 4 from 6:30-8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Andy Fluhart Scholarship Fund, clo First National Bank of Carrollton.

Further, we would like to thank Dr. Clay Anderson and the staff of the Ellis-Fischel Cancer Center and University Hospital, Columbia, MO. Harry G. Vaughn, age 91, of Brunswick, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the Brunswick Nursing Home.
He was born May 12, 1914 near Bogard, Missouri, the son of Albert Benson and Ida E. Meredith Vaughn. He attended rural schools in Carroll County. As a young man, Harry lived in South Dakota for twelve years. He was a Corporal in the United States Army Signal Corp, serving during World War II. He was a member of the Bogard Methodist Church and had farmed near Bogard.
Two brothers, James Vaughn, Pattonsburg, Missouri, and William B. Vaughn, Cameron, Missouri, and one sister, Myrtle James, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, survive Harry.
His parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bogard, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Harold D. Hurd, age 79, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Friday September 2 , 2005 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri.
He was born October 27,1926 near Sweet Springs, Missouri, the son of John T. and May T. Kindle Hurd. He attended school in Sweet Springs, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.S. in Agricultural Education. He was in the U.S. Army; serving during World War II, and receiving an honorary Medal.
Harold, “Heavy Duty” to his radio audience, had covered area livestock markets for the past 9 years and previously had worked in various other ag related industries. He was the Director of the Missouri State Fair in 78-79, and was Executive Director of the Missouri Pork Producers Association Board of Directors from 69-74 and also was a former president of the Missouri Cattleman’s Association, and past director of the National Beef Industry Council. Harold served as the International Service Manager for Massey-Ferguson. Harold was a retired Farmer and part time Radio Announcer and hosted the Feedlot Roundup with representatives from the Garden City Feed yard. Harold served on the Carrollton Planning and Zoning Board. He was a member of the Blackwater Chapel Methodist Church, La Monte, Missouri.
On July 17, 1948 Harold was united in marriage to Marylou Staples in Sweet Springs, Missouri. She preceded him in death on December 28, 1995. On June 15, 1997 Harold married Betty Fern Guthrie Harbert in Carrollton Missouri. She survives at the home along with his children David Key Hurd and wife Val of Sundance, Wyoming, Rhonda Lynn Standerford and husband Tom of Humbolt , Nebraska, Kimbra Lea Halter and husband Andy of St. Joseph, Missouri, 3 step-sons and their wives; 3 brothers, Carroll P. Hurd, Laramie, Wyoming, John W. Hurd, Pelham, Alabama and Donald W. Hurd, Galena, Missouri, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 8 step- grandchildren, 2 step- great -grandchildren.
Harold’s favorite past time was snowmobiling and spending time at his cabin in Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Melvin T. Hurd.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Joe Barone officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening September 5, 2005 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Sweet Springs, Missouri.

Lavern S. Goetting, age 79, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 2, 2005, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron, Missouri.
He was born May 31, 1926 in Norborne, Missouri, the son of August and Mary Wilts Goetting. He attended school in Norborne, Missouri. He served in the United States Army during World War II as a Surgical Tech, serving in Japan. He was awarded the WW II Victory Medal and the Army of Occup. Medal. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and farmed for over 50 years in the Moss Creek Township. He served on the Ray-Carroll Co-op Board several years.
On January 11, 1958 he was united in marriage to Julia Bonderer in Utica, Mo. Julia and the following children survive, Joe of Bogard, Missouri, Dan and wife Dorothy, Bogard, Missouri, Fred and wife Kristy, Carrollton, Missouri, Ed, Norborne, Missouri, Geneva Hayes and husband Bob, Kearney, Missouri, John and wife Melinda, Claremore, Oklahoma, a brother Jim Goetting, Carrollton, Missouri, seventeen grandchildren, several cousins and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charlie Goetting.
Funeral services were Wednesday, September 7, 2005, at the Gibson Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Swyres officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, with Full Military Honors provided by Pence-Lovell-England Post 1773.

Eulah Ellen Stanley, age 92, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Carrollton Life Care Center.
She was born March 21, 1913 in Carroll County, Missouri, the daughter of Oscar and Mattie May Wiley Stanley. She graduated from Carrollton High School and graduated from Missouri State Teachers College in Warrensburg. Eulah taught grades 1-12 in Carroll County for nine years and 2nd grade for thirty-seven years in Marceline, Missouri. She was a member of the Carrollton Church of Christ and Delta Kappa Gamma sorority and Missouri Retired Teachers Association, where she had held several offices.
Two brothers and three sisters, Mabel Stanley, Carrollton, Missouri, Cecil Littleton, Chillicothe, Missouri, Anna May Stanley, Carrollton, Missouri, Oscar Stanley, Jr., Greenwood, Missouri and Sammy Stanley, Independence, Missouri, survive Eulah.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Austin Stanley in infancy and one sister, Opal Frances Miller in 1989.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton Missouri.
Visitation will be from 1:30-2:45 p.m., on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pauline June Brioady Erwin was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father on September 8, 2005. Born in Wakenda Township on June 16, 1913, the daughter of Paul J. and Ethel Manning Brioady. She was married to Joseph Thomas Erwin on October 20th 1929.
Mrs. Erwin was a life long resident of Carroll County, actively serving her community as a volunteer for many organizations. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mary Martha Class and the Woman's Club.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, her Husband of 62 years, Joe, and sister Opal Brioady Raasch. Surviving is her daughter, Pamela Jo Raker; granddaughters, Jodi Felice {Jon} and Jana Grimm {Keith}; great granddaughters, Jordan Grimm, Grayson Felice; great grandson Nicholas Felice; along with nephews Charles and Paul Raasch; neice Pat Erwin Green; and very special and devoted friend, Joan Allison.
Pauline will be remembered fondly by all who knew, loved and cared for her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carrollton Library, Baptist Children's Home or American Red Cross Hurricane Relief. The family will receive friends at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 7-8:00 p.m. and graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2005.

William Bryan Vaughn, age 81, a former Carroll County resident, passed away Monday, September 19, 2005.
William was born June 15, 1924 in Watertown, South Dakota, the son of Albert Benson and Ida Ethel Meredith Vaughn. His family returned to Carroll County in 1934 and he attended Brown Grade School in Bogard, Missouri. He was a member of the Bogard Methodist Church and was in the United States Army during World War II. He was awarded a Purple Heart. He had been a farmer.
One brother, James Vaughn, Pattonsburg, Missouri, one sister, Myrtle James, Lee’s Summit, Missouri and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survives William.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Victor, Harry, Harley, Virgil and Norman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Bert Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bogard, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:15 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Anna Lea (Steer) Gerdes age 52 of rural Triplett, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia Missouri after a 10 year bout with leukemia. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 26th at 1:30pm at Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick Missouri with burial at Mendon Cemetery.
Ann was born June 19th, 1953 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. The fifth child of thirteen born to George and Laura Steer, Ann grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended Blessed Sacrament and graduated the spring of 1971 from Lincoln High School.
On August 19th, 1971 Ann and her husband Bruce Lynn Gerdes were blissfully joined in a loving marriage that encompassed 33 years and four states, which produced five children and eleven beautiful grandchildren. Born to them were Anthony (Tony) Thomas, Brandy Rachelle, Travis James, Shawn David and Veronica Lea.
Over the years Bruce and Ann have called many places home. They made countless friends and enjoyed involvement in each community in which they lived. Ann had many interests through the years, but her most passionate and best loved role was that of loving wife, mother and grandma.
Ann is preceded in death by her son Travis James Gerdes, her mother Laura Lea Steer, brothers Warren and Allen Steer, and Father-in-law Edwin E Gerdes.
Ann is survived by her husband Bruce, son Anthony (Tony) his wife Hope and children, Taylor, Tianna, Tiffanie, Bailee, and Madison of rural Mendon, Missouri; daughter, Brandy, her Husband Bradd Bussinger and children Jadyn, Gunnar, and Brielle of Bassett, Nebraska; her son Shawn, his wife Lori and children Abigail, Katelynn, and Alexis of Salisbury, Missouri; and daughter Veronica and her fiancé John Haynes of Columbia Missouri; her father George Steer of Lincoln Nebraska; Mother-in-law Eleanor Gerdes of Auburn, Nebraska; and siblings George (Bud) Steer, Ruth Cates, Rita Campbell, Laura Clement, John Steer, Sharron Blake, Janice Koubek, Helen Hassebroek, Mark Steer, Gary Steer, many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Memorials made to the family will be donated to Boone Hospital Oncology ward, in Columbia, Missouri.

Carl George Hinderer, 89, of Keytesville, MO, died on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. He was born on July 4, 1916 at Gary, IN. the son of Carl Henry and Hattie Brown Hinderer. He was married to Bertha L. LaHayne on December 25, 1936 at Chesterton, IN. Carl had been a farmer all of his life, with most of farming being done in Porter County, IN. After he retired they moved to Florida in 1974 where he had worked for the Country Club Of Naples. In 1991 they moved to Missouri to be closer to family. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Salisbury, MO and was also an avid fisherman, wood crafter and gardener. He is survived by Bertha, his wife of 68 years at the Brunswick Nursing Home; one son, Carl E. Hinderer and his wife Kay of Hobart, IN; one daughter, Carol Wright and her husband Jack of Keytesville, MO; one sister,Carolyn Jones of Valparaiso, IN; one brother, Eugene Hinderer living out of state; six grandchildren, Jill DeWeese and her husband Jeff of Brunswick, MO, J.D. Wright and his wife Jennifer of Keytesville, MO, Joye Carter and her husband Ed of Oran, MO, Carl Hinderer and his wife Holly of Grafton, OH, Pam Krenzke of Hilliard, OH and Tami Osborn and her husband Dan of Ft. Collins, CO; thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one grandson-in-law and two great-grandsons. Cremation with burial in Portage, IN. at a later date.

Yuriko “Judy” Mills, age 75, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 10, 2005 at her home.
She was born July 3, 1930 in Tokyo, Japan. Judy graduated from high school in Japan. She married J. T. Mills on December 18, 1951 in Tokyo. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1997. She worked in housekeeping at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
Judy is survived by one son Dennis Mills, Carrollton, Missouri, one brother, Yukio Kitazawa, and one sister, Katsie Munero, both of Tokyo, Japan, and two grandchildren, Kelsey and Dakota Mills, Carrollton, Missouri.
Her parents also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Bert Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Gilead Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 12:00-1:15 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday, prior to the service.

Nancy Kay Rea, age 44, passed away October 11, 2005 at the Apple Ridge Care Center, Waverly, Missouri.
Nancy was a “special child” born February 19, 1961 to Edward M. Rea and Evelyn Crabtree Rea of Missouri City, Missouri, near the Liberty area. She lived at the Immacolata Manor in Liberty for twenty-two years, moving to Apple Ridge in September 2005.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Edward Rea who passed away December 24, 1957.
She is survived by one sister, Candiss McGlen, Bradenton, Florida, four aunts, Norene McKinney, Edna Russell, Adalee Moran and Irene Rea, one uncle, J. T. Moran, all of Waverly, Missouri and a host of cousins.
Nancy was a member of the Waverly Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Chapel, Waverly, Missouri, with Reverend Mike Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Missouri City Cemetery, Missouri City, Missouri.
The body will lie in state Friday, October 14, 2005 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday until service time at the Gibson Funeral Chapel, Waverly, Missouri.

Harrison Dee Fisher, age 3 months and 12 days, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Bothwell Regional Medical Center, Sedalia, Missouri.
He was born July 1, 2005 at the Medical Center of Independence in Independence, Missouri, the son of Aaron Caleb and Laura Beth Fisher, who survive him at the home.
Also surviving Harrison is his sister, Taylor Paige, his maternal grandparents, Twila Warner and Kenny Warner, both of Carrollton, Missouri, paternal grandparents, Roger and Nanette Fisher, Bogard, Missouri, maternal great grandparents, Dee and Norma Warner and paternal great grandmother, Velma Fisher, all of Carrollton, Missouri, Aunt Jennifer Hall and husband Kaleb, Aunt Sarah Kate Warner, Uncle Adam Warner and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Harris Fisher.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Ken Prewitt officiating. Burial was in Fairhaven Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri.
Visitation was from 1-2:00 prior to the service.

Christopher Eugene Arp, 38, of Brunswick, MO died on Monday, October 24, 2005 at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Graveside services will be held in the Pleasant Park Cemetery at Carrollton, MO on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating. Visitation will be at the Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, MO on Saturday, from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. Memorials may be made to his family.
He was born on February 25, 1967 at Kansas City, KS the son of Arnold and Barbara Lybarger Arp. He was a married to Tammy Hoover on May 27, 2005 at Seneca, MO. Tammy survives him at the home. Chris had been employed as a Truck Driver and had attended the Christian Church at Seneca, MO. He is also survived by three children; Michael E, Malinda L. and Steven C. Arp all of the home; his father, Arnold Arp of Kansas City, KS; his mother, Barbara Arp of Brunswick, MO; one brother, William Arp of Duncan, SC and his maternal grandmother, Violet Lybarger of Triplett, MO. He was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Arp and two nephews.

Anna Bell Austin, age 69, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at Life Care Center, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born July 16, 1936 in Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of Andrew William and Rosetta Mason Calvert. She attended Carrollton Schools.
On April 12, 1959 she married Ercil Albert Austin in Carrollton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 19, 1981. She was a loving Mother and homemaker. She had worked as a caregiver in private homes, at Carrollton Head Start and at the Sheltered Workshop. Anna Bell was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Carrollton.
Anna Bell is survived by one son, Earl Austin, Carrollton, Missouri, one brother, James H. Calvert, Sr., Columbia, Missouri, one sister, Ethel Brightwell, Harrisburg, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Ercil, Anna Bell was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Clarence William Calvert and one sister, Nellie Rose Thomas.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri at 1:30 p.m., with Reverend Bruce Trussell officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.

Hazel Lorena Campbell Moore, 82, of Brunswick, MO died on Friday, October 28, 2005
at the Moberly Regional Health Center. Funeral services were held at the Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, MO on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiated. Burial was in the Dalton Cemetery at Dalton, MO. Memorials may be made to the Dalton Cemetery Association. Hazel was born on August 14, 1923 at Gillam, MO the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Jennie Mae Andrews Campbell. She was married to Dale Eugene Lockard, who preceded her in death. She was married to Richard Lee Moore on December 8, 1948 at Fort Worth, TX. Richard survives her. Hazel had been a loving mother, grandmother and housewife. She had been a member of the Brunswick United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary Rucker McAllister Post #7 of Brunswick, MO and she also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Hazel is also survived by one daughter, Linda Lee Morrison and her husband Bill of Salisbury, MO; one son, Clifford Dale Lockard of Brunswick, MO; Dolores Magruder of Pacific, WA; one sister, Hester Mae Garner of Independence, MO; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Harold Eugene Lockard, a great-grandson, Tommy Dale Hubbard,
a daughter-in-law, Andrea Lockard and a sister, Helen Lewis. Pallbearers were Lowell Wilhoit, Ed Westhoff, Danny Renner, Ronnie Lockard and Jeremy and Matthew Snyder. Honorary Pallbearers were Virgil Cox, Melvin Neidholdt, Harry Jenkins, Jack Grotjan, Gene Lewis and Bobby Lockard.

James Lincoln Frakes, age 78, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2005 at his home.
He was born May 6, 1927 in Miami, Missouri, the son of Lincoln and Goldie Lybarger Frakes. He attended Miami schools.
On November 7, 1947 he was married to Mildred L. Persinger in Waverly, Missouri, by Reverend F. L. Waid. She survives at the home. He was retired from Banquet Foods. Jim was in the United States Navy during World War II.
Jim is also survived by three sons, Lloyd Wayne (Buddy) Frakes, Carrollton, Missouri, Floyd James (Jimmie) Frakes, Carrollton, Missouri, Raymond Michael (Sam) Frakes, Bosworth, Missouri, one brother, Jack Vernon Frakes, El Dorado Springs, Missouri, one sister, Pat Parker, Camdenton, Missouri, fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carl Dean Frakes and three sisters, one as an infant and Delores Wilson, and Audrey Brooks.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Park Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Red Cross in memory of Mr. Frakes. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.

Louise Winkler, age 90, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri.
Louise was born August 23, 1915 in Carroll County, Missouri, the daughter of Wheat and Norma Henderson Harper. She attended Dobson Elementary School and graduated from Carrollton High School in 1933.
On January 2, 1937 she married Kenneth Winkler in Carrollton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2002. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell from 1947-1956 and worked for Arco in Independence, Kansas from 1956-1973.
Several nieces and nephews survive Louise.
Her parents and brothers, Joe, Alva, Orville and Billy Harper and one sister, Della Mae Harper, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2005 with Reverend Jeff Maxwell officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carrollton School Foundation in memory of Mrs. Winkler. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.

Judy Ann Oglesbee, age 61, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born June 8, 1944 in Lebanon, Missouri, the daughter of Clark and Bette Allen Starnes. She graduated from Bogard High School.
On July 21, 1963 she married Jim Oglesbee in Bogard, Missouri. He survives at the home. Judy should be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Methodist. Her primary position in life was a housewife and a provider of love for her family. Judy spent her adult life looking out for her husband and family. She helped coordinate harvest during the family years. She clipped coupons during the lean years. April she cooked through all the years. Judy loved nothing more than seeing her grandchildren, daughters, and son-in-law eat. Judy was not a career woman in the traditional sense. Instead she played the support rule for her family. No request or wish would go ungranted. Her requests were few and simple. A plain purse and oriental cuisine gave Judy a full day of pleasure. And in true Judy fashion, one of our final days was a family feast. This day it was roast beef, potatoes, and carrots. As any other day, she was happiest seeing others happy.
Judy is also survived by three daughters, Candy Cowherd, Center, Texas, Cindy Ross, Hamilton, Missouri, Cathy Evans, Norborne, Missouri, her mother, Bette Knight and step-father Warren Knight, Bogard, Missouri, two sisters, Carol Sowers, Osage Beach, Missouri, Pam O’Neal, Bogard, Missouri, six grandchildren, Morgan Magee, Collin Magee, Clint Cowherd, Paige Evans, Tori Evans, Tucker Lee Ross, and one great granddaughter, Jacelyn Rhone.
Her father, Clark Starnes, one brother, Ronnie Lee Starnes and one grandson, Keyes James Lee Ross, preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m., at Carroll Memory Gardens with Reverend Jeff Maxwell officiating. She lay in state on Thursday, at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in memory of Judy. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.

Molly Bethann McWilliams, age 24, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005.
She was born September 8, 1981 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Roger Bruce, Sr. and Barbara Ann McFarland McWilliams. She graduated from Carrollton High School in 2000. Molly had been living in Brunswick, Missouri and working at the Brunswick Nursing Home as a Certified Nurses Aid. She was a Baptist.
Molly is survived by her father, Roger McWilliams, Carrollton, Missouri, her mother, Barbara McWilliams, Norborne, Missouri, eleven brothers and sisters, Rick McWilliams, Independence, Missouri, Jerry McWilliams, State of Oklahoma, Vicky Warner, Waverly, Missouri, Peggy Rice, Indian Grove, Missouri, Randy McWilliams, McCloud, Kansas, Jennie Hawkins, Norborne, Missouri, Billy Thudium, Kirksville, Missouri, John Matthew McWilliams, Norborne, Missouri, Joseph Ryan McWilliams, Norborne, Missouri, Bruce McWilliams, Carrollton, Missouri, Phyllis Germann, Bogard, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
An infant sister, Julie Ann, preceded Molly in death.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m., at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Bert Hughes officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Sandra Louise Smith Kipping, 68, of Triplett, MO died at her home on Tuesday, November 8, 2005. Memorial services will be held at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Brunswick, MO on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. Reverend Leonard Misey officiating. Anatomical Donation was to the Gift of Body Program at the University of Missouri at Columbia. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to; the American Cancer Society, St. Boniface Catholic Church or the Pershing Hospice. Memorials should be mailed to the Gibson Funeral Home, 207 W. Broadway, Brunswick, MO 65236. She was born on November 23, 1936 at Carrollton, MO the daughter of Travis Rea and Dorothy Louise Barnett Smith. She graduated from Carrollton High School in 1954. Sandra was married to Lawrence J. Kipping on August 27, 1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carrollton, MO. She had been a Medical Assistant and a Homemaker. They moved to Triplett, MO in 1960 from Wakenda, MO. She was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church at Brunswick, the D.A.R. and the Modern Homebuilders FCE Club. In earlier years Sandra had served in several leadership roles with the Cub Scouts and the Girl Scouts. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence J. Kipping of the home; two sons, Lawrence Jr. (Larry) Kipping and Paul Kipping both of Liberty, MO; one daughter, Andrea Kipping of Kearney, MO; one sister, Pamela Todd of Parkville, MO; two step-sisters, Grace Cooper and Beth Draper both of Eagle Lake, TX; and six grandchildren, Janet, Amy, Bryan, Jason and Keri Kipping and Kristin Schuchmann. She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis Smith and Dorothy Smith Sinclair.
Mary Kathryn Wolfe, 95, of Brunswick, MO died on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the Moberly Regional Health Center in Moberly, MO. She was born on October 18, 1910 at Brunswick, MO the daughter of John Franklin and Carrie Louise Robertson Shackelford. She attended the Hickory Grove Country School and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1929. Kathryn began teaching at the Foggin School and later at the Hickory Grove, Pollard, Dean Lake, Indian Grove and Woods Schools. While at Woods she graduated from the Missouri State Teachers College at Kirksville, MO. And in the fall of 1947 she began her long career in the Keokuk, Iowa School system where she remained for twenty-nine years until she retired in 1977. Kathryn was married to Harold Wolfe on July 16, 1950 in the Prairie Chapel Church at Indian Grove, MO. Harold preceded her in death on June 25, 1985. Kathryn was a member of the Retired Teachers Associations of Iowa, Missouri and Chariton County. She was also a member of the Merry Mixers, Beta Sigma Phi- Pi Chapter Sorority and a member of the Brunswick United Methodist Church. She is survived by two nephews, William D. Hayes of Brunswick, MO and John E. Hayes of Branson, MO and several cousins, great and great-great nephews and nieces. Kathryn was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Rose Hayes. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at the Brunswick United Methodist Church. Reverend Jan Schnepf and Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiated. Burial was in the Prairie Chapel Cemetery at Brunswick, MO. Pallbearers were William D., John E. and John Parker Hayes, Mike Peterson, Dr. D.D. Stuart and Joe Robertson. Honorary Pallbearers were Maurice Mauzey, Dale Morris and David and Mark Buie. Memorials may be made to the Brunswick United Methodist Church or to the Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by the Gibson Funeral Home at Brunswick, MO.
