She is survived by a daughter, Judy Lane Crawford of Farmington, by a daughter-in-law, Patricia Henry of Festus, by a sister, Bonnie LaChance of the State of Florida, by a brother, Thomas Brawley of Bonne Terre, by five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Memorials may be directed to the Genevieve Baptist Church.

Eleanor Ada Zimmer Huck

Surviving siblings are: Eber Zimmer (Alma), Norma Wilson (Woodrow, deceased), Florence Roth (Rhinehardt, deceased), Jean Allen, (Gene), Donna Rickus (Kenneth, deceased), Joanne Henderson (Homer). Deceased siblings are: Goldie Holst and June Burle Govro. Surviving child: Nancy Rehm Corrington (Dennis). Surviving Grandchildren: Scott Rehm (Jennifer), Christopher Rehm, Sarah Eleanor Rehm, James W. Rehm, Jr., Susannah Corrington, Sherry Corrington, Bret Corrington, Tonya Huck, Eric Huck, Angela Huck, Ashley Huck, Edgar Huck, Katie Marie Huck. Surviving Godchild: Kathy Wilson Neiner. Favorite nieces and nephews: Jimmy Zimmer, Judy Holst Womack, Ed Holst, Dan Wilson, Ann Wilson Mell, Kenny Roth, Susan Roth, Mary Roth Meadows, Tom Roth, David Burle, Ed Burle, Tim Burle, Rebecca Allen Crawford, Jane Allen, Randy Allen, Leslie Henderson Jones, and Sherry Henderson Weaver. “Ellie will be sadly missed by many other remaining relatives and friends. Her memory will remain as bright as her smile.

She was an integral part of a close-knit, loving family of nine, all of whom spent the better part of their childhood in Farmington, Missouri. Family history indicates that Eleanor was responsible for the family’s conversion and devotion to the Lutheran faith. In 1936, Eleanor was united in marriage to Edgar Paul Huck, who preceded her in death in 1991.

Fannie Earline Humphrey
September 27, 1922 - March 05, 2002

She is survived by four sons, Marvin Eugene Humphrey, Melvin Humphrey, and Terry Humphrey all of Doe Run, and David Humphrey of Ripley, OK, and by four daughters, Ruby (Mrs.Jesse) Lee of Fort Worth, TX, Shirley Hood of Farmington, Linda Tucker and Diane (Mrs. Warren) Grimes, both of Doe Run, by 19 grandchildren, by 15 great-grandchildren, and by one great-great-grandchild. Several friends also survive.

Before her retirement, Fannie worked for Parkland Health Center as a housekeeper.

Paul Eugene Lober
July 22, 1912 - April 02, 2002

He is survived by his loving wife, Velma Rion Lober, by a foster grandson, Paul Edward Suart and wife Tammy, by a foster daughter-in-law, Helen Stuart, by two foster great-grandchildren, Denene and Gary Stuart all of Farmington, by a brother, Richard Lober of Fenton, by a sister, Louise Crader of the State of California, by his fellow parishoners of St. Joseph Catholic Church, by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Paul lived at Reeds, KY, until the age of 6, when the family moved to Southeast Missouri in the bootheel near Campbell to a settlement called Wilhelmina. He lived there until the age of 14. The family then came to Farmington to a farm located 4 miles northeast of town on Turley Mill Rd. On February 9, 1935, he was united in marriage to Velma Rion at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington. He purchased his father’s farm and went into the dairy business in which he remained for many years. He then went into the beef cattle business. Aside from this, he was a structural iron worker and one of the popular auctioneers of this area. He was foreman on all the bridges between Farmington and Desloge when Highway 67 was being built. He was a Rotarian for many years and continued to auctioneer at their annual auctions. He also did charity auctioneering for many churches and different organizations. Paul was also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Vincent De Paul Society, and the Farmington Elks.

Noah Hamilton Merritt, Jr.
October 23, 1931 - April 10, 2002
Farmington, MO

He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Hopkins) Merritt, by a son, Charles Merritt of Farmington, by three daughters, Linda and husband Mark Harris of Dallas, TX, Carol Haynes of Park Hills, Sandy and husband Robert Montgomery of Arnold, by two brothers, Joseph Merritt of DeSoto, Roy Merritt of Farmington, by three sisters, Anna Nations of Farmington, Pearl Lutz of Ste. Genevieve, Christine and husband Vernon McDowell of Farmington, and by six grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Benny Edward Miller and wife Shirley of Crestline, CA, Larry Miller and wife Beverly of Farmington, by a brother, Kenneth Miller of Park Hills, by two sisters, Edna Lewis of Bismark and Hazel Baker of Pellston, MI, by five grandchildren, and by eight great-grandchildren.

Before his retirement, Mr. Miller was an engineer for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Delassus.

Raymond Jerrold Nickelson
March 02, 1931 - March 07, 2002

He is survived by his wife, Isabel (Cunningham) Nickelson, by four sons, Larry and wife Bev of Fredericktown, Kevin and wife Sandy of Farmington, Brian and wife April of Ironton and Keith and wife Tesha of Farmington, by two daughters, Rebecca and husband Russ Whitehill of Tulsa, OK, and Cindy and husband Scott Graham of Fredericktown, by a sister, Peggy and husband Dean Blickem of Fredericktown, and by seven grandsons and a granddaughter. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Mr. Nickelson was a member of the Pendelton Baptist Church of Doe Run and retired after 42 years as a Boilermaker for Local 27.

Clifton "Kip" Roberts
November 17, 1926 - March 11, 2002

He is survived by his wife, Nadene (Robinson) Roberts, by a daughter, Jonny Belfield and husband Mike, by a granddaughter, Jamie Barton and husband Chris all of Farmington, by a grandson Jason Bales and wife Sarah of Anchorage, Alaska, and by three beloved great-grandchildren, Braden, Jake, and Chloe Mae. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.

He proudly served his nation in the Merchant Marines during World War II and in the U.S. Army after the war.

Mr. Roberts was vice-president and general manager of the Desloge Division of Wetterau from its opening in 1964 until his retirement in 1990 and past chairman of the Board of General Merchandise Distributors Council.

Other relatives and friends also survive.

Burlin Lee Yates, Sr.

Before his retirement, Burlin worked for the St. Joseph Lead Company.

She is survived by a son, Michael Upchurch and wife Beth of Farmington, by a daughter, Susan Blose and husband Chuck of Jacksonville, IL, by three brothers, Jim Strader of Bolivar, MO, Stanley Strader of Salt Lake City, UT, and Carl Strader of Jefferson City, MO, by two sisters, Kate Wallace of Bonne Terre, MO, and Virginia Mason of Belmont, CA, by five grandchildren, Tracy Hammontree of Atlanta, GA, Andrew McFarland of Farmington, Catherine King of Springfield, MO, John Upchurch of Farmington, and Christopher Blose of Jacksonville, IL, by three great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Before her retirement, Lucille owned and operated the Upchurch Insurance Agency with her husband Byron. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington where she was the Sunday School Secretary.
