BORGMEYER
Anna Mary Borgmeyer, 87, Argyle, died Oct. 6, 1999, at Capital Healthcare.
She was born Jan. 14, 1912, in Westphalia, a daughter of John and Mary Schwartz Fennewald. She was married Jan. 17, 1934, in Westphalia, to William Frank Borgmeyer, who died Dec. 15, 1979.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle.
Survivors include: one daughter, Alice C. Kampeter, Wardsvile; three sons, Arthur J. Borgmeyer, Sedalia, Virgil F. Borgmeyer, Osage Bend, and Kenneth J. Borgmeyer, Arlington, Texas ; two brothers, Chris Fennewald, Westphalia, and Herbert Fennewald, Hermann; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
One son, Raymond Frank Borgmeyer, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael P. Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Visitation also will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
HORTON
Mae Rea Horton, 87, died Oct. 6, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
Arrangements are incomplete at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
STRUTTON
Tom Strutton, 62, Iberia, died Oct. 7, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Feb. 22, 1937, in Crocker, a son of Albert and Martha Long Strutton. He was married April 23, 1960, in Tuscumbia, to Vera Clark, who survives at the home.
He worked as a self-employed mechanic and for Perkins Chevrolet in Iberia for 17 years. He attended Pleasant Hill Christian Church near Iberia.
Other survivors include: one son, Tommy Strutton, Iberia; one daughter, Carol Kempker, Eugene; one brother, Carl "Junior" Strutton, Sugar Creek; two sisters, Alene Long, Dixon, and Mae Beal, Crocker; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Larry Young will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
WIENEMAN
Vincent LeRoy "Lee" Wieneman, 80, Jefferson City, died Oct. 6, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 1, 1919, in Hardington, Neb., a son of William P. and Rosella Hirshman Wieneman. He was married Oct. 18, 1941, in Eldon, to Lois Jerene Hunter, who died July 6, 1999.
An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Purple Heart. A former Eldon resident, he retired from Curtis-Manes Construction Company, Eldon, in 1975. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Disabled American Veterans and Roscoe Enloe American Legion Post 5.
Survivors include: two sons, Thomas Lee Wieneman, Maplewood, and John Earl Wieneman, Jefferson City; one sister, Helen Harvey, Arvada, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon. A private graveside service will follow in Enloe Cemetery near Russellville.
Memorials are suggested to the Jefferson City Samaritan Center.
EZARD
Orville William Ezard, 94, Camdenton, died Oct. 7, 1999, at Breech Regional Medical Center, Lebanon.
He was born Oct. 4, 1905, in Camden County, a son of Thomas A. and Lillian Barnes Ezard. He was married July 5, 1934, to Verda Miller, who died March 27, 1995.
He graduated from Linn Creek School in 1926. He taught in rural schools in Camdenton County, at Drake School and at Zebra School. He operated the family farm at Linn Creek and he owned and operated a filling station. He also did carpentry work. He was a member of Community Christian Church, the Linn Creek Historical Society and the Senior Citizens Association.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou Wilhite, Lebanon, and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Tracy Carroll will officiate. Burial will be in Conway Cemetery, Osage Beach.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to the Community Christian Church Library Fund.
GRAHAM
Graveside services were today for Mildred Conrath Graham, 105, Florissant, formerly of Jefferson City, who died Sept. 26, 1999, in Florissant.
She was born Feb. 18, 1894, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Julius and Lucy Schultz Conrath. She was married in 1924, in Jefferson City, to William J. Graham, who died in 1972.
She attended Forest Park University and majored in music. She also had lived in Detroit, the state of Kansas and St. Louis.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and was active in church work and altar guilds.
Survivors include one daughter, Mildred G. Crowdus, Florissant, three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her cremains were interred in Riverview Cemetery. The Rev. Harvel Sanders officiated.
Services also were held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Ferguson.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Cremation Society of St. Louis.
MANES
Roxie Manes, 86, Vienna, died Oct. 7, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Meta, a daughter of Jesse and Ida Brumble Messersmith. She was married May 15, 1929, in Swedeborg, to Harry Joseph Manes, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Vienna, where she taught Sunday school. Prior to moving from Springfield to Vienna in 1994, she was a 40-year member of Boulevard Baptist Church, Springfield, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was a member and served as an officer of the Women's Missionary Union and was president of the Green County Baptist Women's Missionary Union. During World War II, she worked in numerous positions in the war effort.
Survivors include: one son, Carl Manes, Diana, Texas ; one daughter, Barbara Campbell, St. Louis County; two sisters, Rosalee Hayes, Vienna, and Alma Warner, Jefferson City; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Cameron Moles will officiate. A second service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Boulevard Baptist Church. The Rev. Wayne Garrison will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. Visitation will also be from 3-4 p.m. Saturday at Boulevard Baptist Church.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, Vienna; Boulevard Baptist Church, Springfield; or the Leukemia Foundation.
McKELLEY
The Rev. Shawn Carver McKelley Sr., 34, Grandview, died Oct. 2, 1999, at his home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1964, in Buffalo, N.Y., a son of Dorothy M. McKelley, who survives in Buffalo. He was married to Heather L. Beam, who survives at the home.
He earned a bachelor's degree in religion at Mid America Nazarene University, Olathe, Kan., and a master's of divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City. He was ordained in 1995. At the time of this death, he was a chaplain with the Missouri State Department of Corrections in Jefferson City.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Jessica E. McKelley and Olivia C. McKelley, both of the home; one son, Shawn C. McKelley Jr., of the home; and two brothers, Delmar Byrd, Los Angeles, and Gregory James, Columbus, Ohio.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church, Kansas City. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of E.S. Eley & Sons Funeral Home, Kansas City.
RENFROW
William "Bill" Renfrow, 86, Dixon, died Oct. 5, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 18, 1913, in Maries County, a son of Isaac and Dora Palmer Renfrow.
He was an inspector at Lincoln Engineering, St. Louis, for 23 years, retiring in 1975. He moved to Maries County in 1989. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Vienna Senior Citizens Center.
He is survived by three sisters, Helen Fitzpatrick, Dixon, Dorothy Manning, Kirkwood, and Lois Small, Wright City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. The Rev. Cameron Moles will officiate. Burial will be in Dick Lawson Cemetery near Dixon.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today and from 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to the Dick Lawson Cemetery Care Fund.
BROWN
Katrina L. Brown, 15, Smithton, died Oct.7, 1999, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia.
She was born April 13, 1984, in Marceline, a daughter of Thomas L. and Leslie E. Friedley Brown, who survive at the home.
She was a student at E.W. Thompson State School, Sedalia.
Other survivors include: one sister, Cassie E. Brown, Smithton; one brother, Troyce A. Brown, Boise Idaho; and maternal grandmother Mary K. Friedley, Mora.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday.
