HUMPHREY

Danny I. "Bull" Humphrey, 48, Iberia, died Oct. 11, 1999, at his home.

He was born Nov. 9, 1950, in Miller County, a son of Curtis and Eileen Rowden Humphrey. His father survives in Iberia.

Other survivors include: one son, Kenda I. Humphrey, Brumley; two daughters, Patricia L. Humphrey, Lake Ozark, and Tiffany D. Humphrey, Iberia; two brothers, Billy Humphrey, Iberia, and Earl Humphrey, Wright City; and two sisters, Sharon Dake, Iberia, and Deloris Farrow,  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Bryan Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Brays Cemetery, near Iberia.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Thursday.

LAIRMORE

Sharon Kay Lairmore, 55,  Jefferson City, died Oct. 12, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born July 20, 1944, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Archie E. and Beulah G. Walker Luadzers. Her father survives in  Jefferson City. She was married Nov. 28, 1970, in  Jefferson City, to Jerry W. Lairmore, who survives at the home.

She worked in the housekeeping department at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged for 16 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.

Other survivors include: three sisters, Marian Clickner, Lake Ozark, Elizabeth McClugage, Blairsville, Ga., and Janie E. Luadzers, Holts Summit; and one brother, A.J. Luadzers,  Jefferson City.

Services will be at noon Friday at St. Martin Catholic Church. The Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Friday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

MURRAY

Anna Mable Murray, 79, Fulton, died Oct. 12, 1999, in Fulton.

She was born March 2, 1920, in Kansas City, a daughter of James E. and Etta Lora Cady Ford. She was married June 12, 1937, to Paul Edward Fields, who died in September 1944. She was married in January 1946 to Richard Jack Lawrence, who died in June 1950. She was married Sept. 3, 1953, to Albert D. Murray, who died in January 1994.

A homemaker, she worked at William Woods as a dispatcher for Burns Security from 1979 to 1987. She was a member of the Callaway Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Loretta Fuller, Fulton; four sons, James Fields, Augusta, Kan., Franklin Fields, Gainesville, Fla., Edward Fields, Winter Park, Fla., and Joe Lawrence, Henderson, Nev.; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

One infant son preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Clevie Sims will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the Callaway Tabernacle Church.

SCHRIMPF

Mary Frances Schrimpf, 94,  Jefferson City, died Oct. 12, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born May 17, 1905, in Sedalia, a daughter of Earl and Lena Wallau Finnell. She was married Feb. 22, 1930, in Chillicothe, to Hugo P. Schrimpf, who died April 30, 1986.

A graduate of St. Peters High School, she was employed as a secretary at the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department and the Missouri Department of Revenue. In 1965, she retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

She was a lifelong member of St. Peters Catholic Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Carolyn Cline,  Jefferson City; two sons, Dale Schrimpf and Richard Schrimpf, both of  Jefferson City; one sister, Alvina Durham, Tazwell, Va.; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peters Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald Lammers will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Masses at St. Peters Catholic Church.

RUSH

I. L. Rush, 93, Olean, died Oct. 11, 1999, in an automobile accident at Olean.

He was born April 8, 1906, in Miller County, a son of Ephram D. and Alice Isabel Bittle Rush. He was married Oct. 19, 1929, in St. Louis, to Nannie Marie Rush, who died Nov. 12, 1996.

He was a farmer and a member of the Mount Herman Baptist Church, Olean.

Survivors include: three sons, Norman W. Rush, Gene E. Rush and Billy D. Rush, all of Kansas City, Kan; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

One son, Jimmy D. Rush, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Jay Quinn will officiate. Burial will be in Rush Chapel Cemetery, Eugene.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the Mount Herman Baptist Church.

RUSH

Ruth Rush, 92, Eugene, died Oct. 11, 1999, in an automobile accident at Olean.

She was born June 24, 1907, in Miller County, a daughter of Ephram D. and Alice Isabel Bittle Rush. She was married Aug. 28, 1926, in St. Louis, to Archie Rush Sr., who died June 22, 1993.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Eldon Nazarene Church.

She lived most of her life in Miller County.

Survivors include: one son, Archie Rush Jr., Eugene; three grandchildren and four great-granchildren.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial will be in Rush Chapel Cemetery, Eugene.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the Eldon Nazarene Church.

SALE

Flora Louise Sale, 80, formerly of Eldon, died Oct. 12, 1999, at  Jefferson City Manor Care Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

CROSS

Mary Evelyn Cross, 66, Columbia, died Oct. 13, 1999, at University of Missouri Science Center, Columbia.

She was born Dec. 25, 1932, in Columbia, the daughter of Jesse and Louella Williams Edwards. She was married Aug. 3, 1962, to George Robert Cross, who preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Douglas High School, Columbia. She was employed with the University of Missouri Science Center. She was a member of Christ Apostolic Temple of Columbia.

Survivors include: one daughter, Tawanda J. Edwards,  Jefferson City; six sons, Lt. Col. James T. Edwards, Fort Lee, Va., and George J. Edwards, Michael L. Edwards, William S. Edwards, Robert E. Edwards and Tracy L. Edwards, all of Columbia; five sisters, Patsy Nelson and Edith Prince, both of Columbia, Dorothy Rowles, Kansas City, Wanda Incles, Blue Springs, and Vicky Battles, Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Roy Hicks, Columbia, James H. Edwards, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Thomas L. Edwards, Gardenia, Calif.; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Luke United Methodist Church, Columbia. Bishop Michael Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Warren Funeral Home, Columbia.

HARR

Hallie G. Harr, 84, Florissant, formerly of  Jefferson City, died Oct. 13, 1999, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Town and Country.

She was born Aug. 8, 1915, in Claysville, a daughter of James S. and Mary Lucy Foster.

She was a shoe cutter.

Survivors include: one daughter, Betty J. Moldovan, St. Peters; one son, William G. Vieth, Fulton; one brother, Sam Foster, St. Ann; and three sisters, Dorothy Hackworth, Richmond Heights, Thelma Herbold, Moorhead, Minn., and Geraldine Terrel, Gamaliel, Ark.

One daughter, Zella Joann Vieth, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hutchens Mortuary, Florissant. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hartsburg.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to Third Baptist Church, 620 N. Grand Ave., St. Louis, Mo. 63103.

SCHUBERT

Clarence P. "Speed" Schubert, 85,  Jefferson City, died Oct. 15, 1999, at his home.

He was born June 28, 1914, in Cole County, a son of John N. and Hulda Goldammer Schubert. He was married July 10, 1937, in California, to Marie H. Jacobs, who survives at the home.

A lifelong resident of Central Missouri, he attended school in Stringtown. He was a carpenter for Roy Scheperle Construction Company for more than 40 years until his retirement in 1976.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Honey Creek; a member of the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5; and a 50-year member of Carpenters Local 945.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Doris M. Schroer and Mary Messer, both of  Jefferson City; two sisters, Lorene Linhardt, California, and Mamie Propst,  Jefferson City; one brother, Cortez Schubert, Mexico; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

Three children, Harold A. Schubert, David J. Schubert and Deloris R. Schubert, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Russell Bowder will officiate. Graveside services, with military honors, will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Honey Creek.

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Mortuary, and from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund or the Missouri River Hospice.
