RICHARDSON
Elizabeth B. Richardson, 89, Camdenton, died Oct. 25, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital.
She was born Jan. 30, 1910, in Crawford County, Kansas, a daughter of John H. and Lucille Allison Burdette. She was married Dec. 25, 1947, in Linn County, Kansas, to Ernest Franklin Richardson, who survives in Camdenton.
She was an electronics inspector with Bendix Corporation in Kansas City, retiring in 1975. A Lake area resident since 1975, she was a member of Community Christian Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Marion Eugene Anthony, Camdenton; two brothers, Ralph Burdette, West Mineral, Kan., and Gerald Burdette, Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Geraldine Shields, San Diego, Calif.; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home. The Rev. Tracy Carroll will officiate. Burial will be in Allee Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
BECKNER
Irene Beckner, 80, Lee's Summit, formerly of Versailles, died Oct. 27, 1999, at Baptist Medical Center, Kansas City.
She was born Jan. 20, 1919, in Morgan County, a daughter of Lee and Alice Cornett Purl. She was married June 16, 1947, in Kansas City, to Delvin E. Beckner, who died Oct. 20, 1987.
She and her husband owned and operated a vegetable market business in Kansas City. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one brother, Wilbur "Dick" Purl, Versailles.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday.
BROWN
Christian Aron Brown, infant son of George Brown and Janet Mims, was stillborn Oct. 26, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital. His parents survive in Kaiser.
Other survivors include: one sister, Amanda Lynn Brown, of the home; paternal grandmother Joyce Brown, Brumley; paternal grandfather Cecil Brown, Springfield; maternal grandmother Pam Thomson, Sedalia; maternal step grandfather Gary Russell, Sedalia; maternal grandfather Gail Lee Mims Sr., Eldon; maternal step grandmother Helen Mims, Eldon; maternal great-grandmothers Dorothy Spears, Eldon, and Janice Kammerich, Sedalia.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. today at Botz Cemetery near Brumley. The Rev. Ron Lehenbauer will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon.
OSWALD
Edmund R. Oswald, 80, Russellville, died Oct. 28, 1999, at the Jefferson City Manor Care Center, Jefferson City.
Arrangements are incomplete at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
SAPP
Martha Ruth Sapp, 76, Jefferson City, died Oct. 29, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Harrisburg, a daughter of Fred and Sophia Cornelison Knox. She was married Dec. 23, 1944, in Columbia, to Joseph Sapp, who died March 24, 1991.
She worked as a printer for Von Hoffmann Press.
Survivors include: four daughters, Vickie Wilson, Ashland, Rita Bomar, Crocker, Carolyn Eastwood and Wanda Branch, both of Jefferson City; one brother, John Knox, Columbia; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One son preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. John Foley and Elder Wallace Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, Ashland.
Visitation will be from 4-6 Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
SEATON
William Homer Seaton, 83, Macks Creek, died Oct. 28, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born Dec. 22, 1915, in Macks Creek, a son of Ellis and Elsie Skinner Seaton. He was married Feb. 6, 1936, in Camden County, to Velma Eidson, who survives at the home.
He was a farmer and carpenter in Macks Creek, and a member of the Parrack Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Macks Creek.
Other survivors include: two sons, Harvey Seaton, Macks Creek, and Harl Seaton, Independence; two daughters, Wanita Willis, Macks Creek, and Reita Johnson, Camdenton; two brothers, Hobert Seaton, Macks Creek, and Herbert Seaton, Windsor; two sisters, Nera Eidson, Macks Creek, and Nita Glor; eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
Two grandsons preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Parrack Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Donnie Leap will officiate. Burial will be in Parrack Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Macks Creek.
STEEN
Elijah Steen, infant son of Terry Larkins and Tonya Steen, Lake Ozark, died Oct. 27, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born June 17, 1999, at Lake Ozark.
Other survivors include: one brother, Ethan Steen, Lake Ozark; one sister, Erika Steen, Lake Ozark; paternal grandparents, Norman and Susan Larkins, Richland; maternal grandmother, Margie Steen, Crocker; and paternal great-grandmother, Beverly Babnaw, Taylor, Mich.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Crocker. The Rev. Kenneth Sullins will officiate. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and noon-2. p.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the Elijah Steen Memorial Fund.
ADDISON
Helen L. Addison, 75, Jefferson City, died Oct. 29, 1999, at her home
She was born July 14, 1924, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Harry A. and Gladys M. Breeden Thurston. She was married on Nov. 6, 1943, in Orlando, Fla., to Nelse Addison, who survives at the home.
A life-long resident of the Jefferson City area, she was a 1942 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was employed as a teacher at the First Methodist Pre-Kindergarten program for 15 years prior to her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Susan H. Greco, San Francisco; and one sister, Bette R. Scott, Jefferson City.
A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later time.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorder Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
ANDERSON
Matthew Douglas Anderson, 13, California, died Oct. 28, 1999, at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1986, in Fort Bragg, N.C., a son of Faith Ann Matheny, who survives in California, and Marty J. Anderson, who survives in Jefferson City.
He was a student in the seventh-grade at California Middle School, where he played on the seventh-grade football team and was active in the baseball and basketball program. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the youth group in California.
Other survivors include: one brother, Warren Anderson, and one sister, Becky Anderson, both of the home; and maternal grandparents, Charles Douglas and Ilene Matheny, California
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at California Middle School gymnasium, with the Rev. Carol Koenig and the Rev. Steve Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in California.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the school gymnasium.

BEMBOOM
Doris Marie Bemboom, 74, Jefferson City, died Oct. 28, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born April 3, 1925, in Belair, Kan., a daughter of Pearl Chaney and Eva Eden McArthur Shively. She was married Sept. 27, 1945, in Jefferson City, to Louis Bemboom, who died Jan. 8, 1955. She was then married Dec. 23, 1976, in Columbia, to Sylvester W. Bemboom, who survives at the home.
She was a graduate of Belair High School and worked as a secretary at several Army base hospitals. A member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, she was also a homemaker.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Rebecca Ann Schlup and Mary Diana Casto; two brothers, Edward P. Shively, Jefferson City, and John Owen Shively, Boonville; two sisters, Alma June Nelson, Pinckney, Mich., and Linda Lou Turnbull, Holts Summit; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. John Hobratschk will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Buescher Memorial Home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
GAERTNER
Wilbert Ernst Gaertner, 90, Jefferson City, died Oct. 29, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born July 25, 1909, in Hermann, a son of Henry H. and Marie A. Oetker Gaertner. He was married Feb. 11, 1933, in Jefferson City, to Louise Ida Witthaus, who survives at the home.
A graduate of Hermann High School, he was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked as foreman at International Shoe Company and as a mail clerk for the Missouri Highway Department. He was a member of the Central United Church of Christ and Jefferson Lodge 43, A.F. & A.M.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Gloria Jean Smith, Leawood, Kan., and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Stephen H. Buchholtz will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
