WINCHELL
Ruth B. Cox Winchell, 81, Stover, died Nov. 11, 1999, at Golden Age Care Center, Stover.
She was born July 14, 1918, near Barnett, a daughter of Leonard W. and Dollie Englebrecht Cox. She was married June 14, 1944, near Barnett, to the Rev. Edward A. Winchell, who survives at the care center.
A graduate of Lincoln University with a bachelor's degree in education, she taught school in Eldon, Barnett, Otterville, Versailles, and Stover. She retired from Stover schools after teaching the third grade for 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Stover.
Other survivors include one son, Gary Winchell, Grandview, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Stover First Baptist Church. The Rev. James Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover.
Memorials are suggested to the Hopewell Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
ELROD
Jackolyn "Jackie" Kennett Elrod, 56, Kansas City, died Nov. 11, 1999, in New Bloomfield.
She was born April 8, 1943, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Jack W. and Frances Allen Kennett. She was married May 18, 1963, in Jefferson City, to Richard Blake Elrod, who died in June 1985.
She attended Jefferson City public schools and graduated from Lincoln University. She moved to Kansas City in 1972 and was benefits manager of Western Auto Parts for the past 10 years. She was a member of New Bloomfield Chapter 138 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: one son, Tony Allen Elrod, Sandwich, Mass.; and one sister, Jayne Wills, New Bloomfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Guthrie. The Rev. Don Munford and Allen Harper will officiate. Burial will be in Dry Fork Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit, and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Breast Cancer Research at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Columbia.
EADS
Fred Eads, 92, Morrison, died Nov. 11, 1999, at Frene Valley Health Care Center, Hermann.
He was born Jan. 7, 1907, in Hope, a son of Nathan and Mary Lou Wolf Eads. He was married in 1929 in California to Philomenia Roettgen, who died Feb. 8, 1999.
A lifelong area resident, he was a farmer.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. Bro. Don King will officiate. Burial will be in Eads Family Cemetery, Morrison.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
BRYANT
Aulta E. Bryant, Stover, died Nov. 12, 1999, at Willow Lane Care Center, Butler.
Arrangements are incomplete at Scirvner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover.
BLANKENSHIP
Lucy E. Blankenship, 86, Camdenton, died Nov. 12, 1999, at home.
She was born Nov. 13, 1912, at Old Linn Creek, a daughter of Leroy and Vivian Barnes Griffith. She was married Oct. 12, 1936, in Camdenton, to Jess Blankenship, who survives at home.
A homemaker, she was a member of Freedom Church of Christ, Montreal.
Other survivors include two daughters, Patricia Bradley, Stoutland, and Kathy Watson, Camdenton, and seven grandsons.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Freedom Church of Christ. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
KEMPKER
Joseph W. Kempker, 58, Eldon, died Nov. 12, 1999, at home.
He was born Feb. 8, 1941, in Henley, a son of Lawrence G. and Katherine Doerhoff Kempker. He was married July 8, 1961, in Marys Home, to Carolyn S. Atkinson, who survives at home.
He worked for the Missouri Highway Department, Eldon, Alden Gas Company, Eldon, and Dam Ready Mix, Lake Ozark. He owned and operated Callaway Stock Stales, Fulton, and was a member of F.O. Eagles Lodge, Eldon Knights of Columbus, Olean Buffalo Club, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eldon.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Tammy Flaugher, Eugene, and Jody Pyle, Nixa; two sisters, Irene Morris, Eldon, and Elsie Kliethermes, Olean; two brothers, Gerald "Doc" Kempker, Jefferson City, and Bernard Kempker, Henley; and one grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Clarence Wiederholt will officiate. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery, Olean.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Olean Buffalo Club or Allen Cemetery Association.
MOSLEY
Lois Vernice Mosley, 86, Mexico, formerly of Mokane, died Nov. 13, 1999, at Pin Oaks Nursing Home, Mexico.
She was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Reform, a daughter of Crump and Frances "Fanny" Tate Maddox. She was married April 22, 1929, in Belleville, Ill., to Joseph C. Mosley Sr., who survives at the home.
She was employed as a clerk at the Mokane Post Office for 42 years. She attended the Holiness Church, Reform, and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Mokane.
Other survivors include: two sons, James "Jim" Mosley, Mexico, and J.C. Mosley Jr., Hotsprings Village, Ark.; two daughters, Maurene Painter, Victoria, Texas , and Martha Linhardt, Wichita, Kan.; 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
One infant son, Clyde Crump Mosley, and one grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Kenneth Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
WOLF
Elva Helen Wolf, 85, Jefferson City, died Nov. 14, 1999, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Feb. 3, 1914, in Worden, Ill., a daughter of Gustov and Bertha Gruner Dieckhaus. She was married May 18, 1935, in Worden, to Wilfred E. Wolf, who died Oct. 17, 1989.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Worden.
Survivors include: one son, Gerald Wolf, Jefferson City; one sister, Paula Brouse, Hollister; and one grandson.
One daughter, Cheryl Wolf, died in 1946.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hamel, Ill. The Rev. John Hobratschk will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Heisinger Lutheran Home.
COTTRELL
Martha Irene Cottrell, 76, California, died Nov. 14, 1999, at Tipton Manor.
She was born Oct. 19, 1923, in Prairie Home, a daughter of Carl and Sophia Heckerman Klatt. She was married Nov. 7, 1952, in St. Louis, to Carl Cottrell, who died Feb. 4, 1990.
She worked for Easton-Taylor Trust Company, St. Louis, the Department of the Army, People's Bank of Jamestown, and as a secretary for United Methodist Church, California. She was a member of United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women Night Circle, and California Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 521.
Survivors include two nieces, Shirley Dusenberg and Mary Jane Snyder, both of Jamestown.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church. The Rev. Carol Koenig and the Rev. Jack Ketcher will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, California.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

DIAZ
Brenda Diane Wood Diaz, 44, Tamarac, Fla., died Nov. 12, 1999, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born April 26, 1955, in Kansas City, a daughter of Earl and Chloe Skinner Wood. Her parents survive in Macks Creek.
She worked as a medical assistant in a doctor's office in Tamarac.
Survivors include: two sons, William Rickey O'Daniel and James Benjamin Spiess, both of Slidell, La.; two daughters, JoAnna Nicole Noel, Camdenton, and Donna Chloe Michell Kinney, Macks Creek; three brothers, Gerald Joe Osborne, Savannah, Ga., Michael Dale Wood, Slidell, and Charles William Wood, Macks Creek; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hedges Funeral Home, Macks Creek. The Rev. Dinzel Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Macks Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today.
