FISHER
Pearl L. Bair Fisher, 81, Bolivar, Ohio, died Dec. 2, 1999, at her daughter's home.
She was born March 24, 1918, in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of Harvey Beachtel. She was married to Orie F. Bair, who preceded her in death. She then was married to Clarence Joseph Fisher, who preceded her in death.
With a degree from Ashland College in Ashland, Ohio, she was self-employed in the tourism business.
Survivors include: one daughter, Nancy Kendall, Bolivar, Ohio; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One son, Tom C. Bair, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett. The Rev. Walter Simpson will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
EVANS
Everett A. Evans, 73, Macks Creek, died Dec. 3, 1999, at his home.
He was born March 7, 1926, in Macks Creek, a son of Elza M. and Etta Ann Cyrus Evans. He was married Feb. 12, 1953, in Eldridge, to Bonnie L. Burns, who survives at the home.
He was owner and operator of Evans Sand and Gravel Co. He was a member of Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist Church in Decaturville.
Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Lynn Evans, Camdenton, and Tony Mack Evans, Macks Creek; two daughters, Carla Leigh Wier, Blue Springs, and Carmen Jenelle Horton, Macks Creek; one brother, Dale Evans, Camdenton; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Burns, the Rev. Dennis North and the Rev. J.R. McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
Memorials are suggested to the Mount Horeb Building Fund.
GILLISPIE
John F. Gillispie, 67, Iberia, died Dec. 2, 1999, at Lake of the Ozark General Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born March 16, 1932, in Lemons, a son of Paul and Eithel Johnston Gillispie. His mother survives. He was married Jan. 24, 1967, to Karen Coppock, who survives at the home.
He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated several businesses for 40 years in Iowa City, Iowa, before moving to Iberia. He owned and operated the Super T in Brumley for the last 18 months. He was a member of Anglico, Lions and Jaycees, all in Iowa.
Other survivors include: three sons, Jonathan Jay Gillispie, Hutchison, Kan., Robert Alan Gillispie, Coralville, Iowa, and Nathan Paul Gillispie, Las Vegas; four daughters, Joni Dee Gillispie, Burlington, Iowa, Lisa Kay Grell, Williamsburg, Iowa, Theresa Lynn Swanson, Iowa City, and Lori Ann Gillispie, San Francisco; four brothers, Paul Gillispie, Maynard Gillispie, Warren Gillispie and Dwayne Gillispie; one sister, Wanda Lea Dickinson; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hickory Groves Friends Cemetery, West Branch, Iowa.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
Memorials are suggested to the Korean War Veterans Memorial at the Bank of Iberia.
NIMIS
Hans-Peter Nimis, 66, Camdenton, died Dec. 3, 1999, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1933, in Berlin, Germany, a son of Julius and Margot Krapft Nimis. He was married June 29, 1957, in Chambly, Canada, to Giselle LePierre, who survives at the home.
He was an assembler at Electrovert.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Doris Tite, Greenfield Park, Quebec, Patricia Nimis, Ottawa, Ontario, and Darlene Nimis, Ottawa; one brother, Michael Nimis, Gilching, Germany; and five grandchildren.
One son, Michael Nimis, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Camdenton. The Rev. James Feummeler will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Canada.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
O'Dell
Leland S. O'Dell, 89, Gravois Mill, died Dec. 4, 1999, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born Sept. 30, 1910, in Slater, a son of Jess and Beulah O'Dell.
He worked as a clerk for the Postal Service until his retirement.
Survivors include one brother, Hugh O'Dell, state of Washington .
He was cremated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
PAINTER
Cindy Diane Reeves Painter, 34, Rolla, formerly of Jefferson City, died Dec. 4, 1999, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla.
She was born Aug. 15, 1965, in St. Charles, a daughter of Don and Helen Dunlap Reeves. Her parents survive in Rolla. She was married Dec. 17, 1992, to John Mark Painter, who survives at the home.
She graduated from Bourbon High School and Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau. She worked for one year in the Crawford County prosecuting attorney's office. She taught school in Washington , Bourbon and Russellville. She lived in Jefferson City from 1990 to 1992. She had been a junior high school math teacher in Rolla since 1995. She was a member of Rolla Christian Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Morgan Lillie Painter, of the home; three brothers, Britton Reeves, Rolla, Jeffrey Reeves, Bourbon, and Lonnie Reeves, Wentzville; and one sister, Tracy Rousan, Bourbon.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Rolla Christian Church. Willie Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in Rolla Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at Null and Son Funeral Home, Rolla.
Memorials are suggested to the Cindy Painter Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Rolla Junior High School or Union Planters Bank, 700 N. Park St., Rolla, Mo.
STEPKA
Raymond C. Stepka, 78, Camdenton, died Dec. 5, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born Feb. 16, 1921, in Chicago, a son of Edward and Emma Burda Stepka. He was married to Dolores Stepka, who preceded him in death. He was married Nov. 10, 1989, in Sunrise Beach, to Marianne Burda Stepanek, who survives at the home.
He had lived in the Lake area since 1982. He was an engineer with Common Wealth Edison before retiring. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Pamela Rae Dobbins, Woodridge, Ill.; two stepsons, Rick Stepanek, Winnemucca, Nev., and Tom Stepanek, Naperville, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Jackie Greer, Justice, Ill., and Renee Krall, LaGrange Park, Ill.; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. Burial, with military honors, will be in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Gail Arbes, 60, Linn, died Dec. 5, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.

Troy W. Lansford, 81, Linn, died Dec. 5, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.

MEHRHOFF
Alma L. Mehrhoff, 60, Jefferson City, died Dec. 7, 1999, at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born Feb. 2, 1939, at Vito, a daughter of Lloyd and Margaret Southern Moreland. She was married to Chrissie N. Mehrhoff, who died May 19, 1984.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, she attended school in Belle. She had been employed with McGraw-Edison Company for several years and later was a nurse's aide with Memorial Community Hospital. She also was a homemaker.
Survivors include: four sons, Eddie Mehrhoff, Steven Mehrhoff and Ben Mehrhoff, all of Jefferson City, and Tim Mehrhoff, New Bloomfield; two daughters, Linda Mehrhoff and Nancy Mehrhoff, both of Jefferson City; and two grandchildren.
Three infant children preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Freeman Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Liberty Cemetery, Belle.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to charity of the donor's choice.
GERST
Virginia L. Gerst, 69, Eldon, died Dec. 6, 1999, at Eldon Healthcare Center.
She was born July 24, 1930, in East St. Louis, Ill., a daughter of Edward and Ruby Mathis Buhrmester.
She was a dishwasher at Eldon Community Center.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lisa Brigman, Reno, Nev.; one son, Danny Lee Bordeaux; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Eldon City Cemetery. The Rev. Jasper Hunter will officiate.
