LIGHTWINE
Gary Dean Lightwine, 49, Sunrise Beach, died March 11, 1999, from injuries sustained in a boating accident.
He was born April 27, 1949, in Fort Scott, Kan., a son of J.D. and Virginia Braden Lightwine. His father survives in Lowell, Ark.; his mother survives in Fort Scott.
He was retired from Burlington Northern Railroad and was a former member of the Kansas National Guard. He lived in the Lake area for the past three years.
Other survivors include: his fiancee, Donna Norris, Sunrise Beach; one son, Jason Lightwine, Parkville; two daughters, Amanda Lightwine, Parkville, and Sasha Lightwine, Hermitage; and one brother, Terry L. Lightwine, Topeka, Kan.;
Funeral services were Saturday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Ralph Hosman officiated.
A second service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cheney-Witt Funeral Home, Fort Scott, Kan. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Scott.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Monday.

MARCUM
Nathalia June Marcum, 56, Rich Fountain, died March 12, 1999, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident near Westphalia.
She was born Nov. 29, 1942, in Russellville, a daughter of Edwin O. and Norma June Weaver Jungmeyer, who survive in Jefferson City. She was married Oct. 26, 1960, in California, Mo., to Lester S. Marcum, who survives at the home.
She graduated from Russellville High School in 1960 and attended Lincoln University and Nichols Career Center. She also attended the Missouri Highway Patrol communications school and law enforcement dispatching academy.
She was secretary to Gov. Christopher "Kit" Bond and was employed by the Division of Employment Security and the Jefferson City Police Department. At the time of her death, she was supervisor of typesetting for the Missouri State Senate. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Tina E. Eisterhold, Rich Fountain; one son, Edwin V. L. Marcum, Jefferson City; three brothers, Dennis Jungmeyer, Little Rock, Ark., and Steven Jungmeyer and Kevin Jungmeyer, both of Jefferson City; and five grandchildren.
One son, Michael S. Marcum, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Annunciation Catholic Church, California. The Rev. Francis Gillgannon and the Rev. Carl R. Gauck will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, California, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

McCOLLOM
Margrett Lenore McCollom, 92, Camdenton, died March 12, 1999, at Windsor Estate Nursing Home, Camdenton.
She was born Oct. 27, 1906, in Harrison County, a daughter of James and Waneta Clark Nickerson. She was married to Bill McCollom, who preceded her in death.
She had been a schoolteacher for 43 years and was a member of the Christian Church, New Hampton. She lived in the Lake area for the past nine years.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Cemetery, New Hampton.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Monday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
MUIR
Ann Pauline Muir, 84, Jefferson City, died March 13, 1999, at Oak Tree Villas.
She was born May 21, 1914, at Jasper, N.Y., a daughter of Raymond F. and Madge E. Timmerman Deck. She was married May 22, 1958, in Strongsville, Ohio, to Dr. Wilfred S. Muir, who died Feb. 2, 1990.
She attended schools in Buffalo, N.Y., and graduated from the University of Buffalo. She was a schoolteacher in New York and Florida and a medical librarian at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, N.Y.
She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, West Palm Beach, Fla.
Survivors include: two stepsons, James Muir, Albany, N.Y., and Richard Muir, Webster, N.Y.; two stepdaughters, Marian Peepers, Cleveland, Ohio, and Elsie Beneck, Philadelphia; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Lake Worth Memory Gardens, Lake Worth, Fla.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., or the Salvation Army.
SCHWARZ
Services were Saturday for Jennifer Nicole Schwarz, 18, who died March 11, 1999, from injuries suffered in a traffic accident near Eugene.
She was born Oct. 25, 1980, in Tuscumbia, a daughter of Bill and Sharon Bellah Schwarz. Her parents survive in Eldon.
She attended Eldon public schools through the eighth grade and was home schooled through high school. She was to graduate this spring.
She was a minister in Jehovah's Witnesses and a member of the Kingdom Hall in Eldon. She was a sales clerk at Bugle Boy outlet store in Osage Beach.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Jason Schwarz and Justin Schwarz, both of the home; her paternal grandmother, Adeline Schwarz, Elgin, Ill.; and her maternal grandmother, Emma Bellah, Eldon.
Services were at the Kingdom Hall. Bro. David Carey officiated.
Memorials are suggested to the worldwide work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
ARLEN
Barbara Ann Arlen, 66, Linn, died March 13, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 10, 1932, in Green River, Vt., a daughter of Walter and Mary Aldrich Bowen. She was married Nov. 1, 1969, to David D. Arlen, who survives at the home.
She was employed at Capital Region Medical Center for 16 years until her retirement in 1995. A resident of Osage County for the past 19 years, she was a member of Liberty Bible Baptist Church, Linn.
Other survivors include: 16 children, Dale Brown, Spofford, N.H., Dee Shults, Holts Summit, David Backman, Joel Backman, Shawn Arlen and Angela Arlen, all of the state of Vermont, Neal Brown, state of New Hampshire, Connie Morits, Tipton, Kim Jaegers, Eldon, Keith Brown, state of Missouri, Robert Brown, St. Louis, David Arlen Jr., Chamois, Greg Brown, Morrison, James Brown, Linn, and Tasha Pinney Arlen and Jeneva Pinney Arlen, both of the home; two brothers, Russell Bowen, Gilsun, N.H., and Leslie Bowen, West Swanzey, N.H.; four sisters, Alice Mason and Alta MacQueston, both of Keene, N.H., Anita Lake, Spofford, and Freda Goodell, Richmond, N.H.; 39 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children, Albert Brown and Kelly Pinney, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Useful Cemetery, Useful.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, and from 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
COOK
Elza Shirley Cook, 90, Jefferson City, died March 13, 1999, at her home.
She was born March 10, 1909, in Eugene, a daughter of Joseph and Emma Roe Duncan. She was married in 1927, in Eugene, to Dr. George H. Shirley, who died Sept. 20, 1954. She was married Nov. 4, 1982, in Farber, to Claudie Cook, who died in 1993.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, she attended school in Eugene. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include: two sons, Thomas J. Shirley and Lyndal M. Shirley, both of Jefferson City; one brother, Ira Duncan, Mineola, Kan.; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Burleigh W. Shirley, who died in 1990, and Patrick N. Shirley, who died Jan. 24, 1999.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Bob Buster will officiate. Burial will be in Eugene Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
DUNCAN
The Rev. Stanley R. Duncan, 65, Lake Ozark, died Mar. 13, 1999, at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville.
He was born May 28, 1933, in Dallas, a son of Roger O. and Sherla L. Lockhart Duncan. He was married Aug. 14, 1983, in East Moline, Ill., to Rhaelea Bevelheimer, who survives at the home.
After serving in the Marine Corps during the Korean War, he worked as a pipefitter. He was a graduate of Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas , and Vanderbilt Seminary, Nashville, Tenn.
During his 40-year career as a minister, he served in churches in the states of Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri. He was an intentional interim ministry specialist for seven years.
He was a member of the Lake Ozark Lions Club and had been chaplain of the Lake Ozark Fire Department. He was a charter member of the Lake Area Community Orchestra.
Other survivors include: two sons, Roger Mark Duncan, Broome, Australia, and Andrew Lockhart Harvy, Darwin, Australia; two daughters, Dana Lynn Duncan, Darwin, and Darla Louise Ross, Kununurra, Australia; one sister, Lynn Shisler, Wichita, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Ozark Christian Church. The Rev. Stephen Cranford, the Rev. Tracy Carroll and the Rev. Barbara Allen will officiate. The remains will be cremated.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Ozark Christian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
FERGUSON
Marilyn L. Ferguson, 62, Stover, died March 10, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Sept. 20, 1937, in Salinas, Calif., a daughter of David and Elva Thorn Schiedt.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one son, Rocky Alexius, Stover; one daughter, Ava Dickerson, Stover,; one sister, Marie Quinn; and six grandchildren.
Private services will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
RICHARDSON
Deborah S. Richardson, 46, Auxvasse, died March 11, 1999, at her home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1952, in St. Louis, a daughter of Thomas P. and Lilah Knight Tyler.
She was a 1970 graduate of Berkley High School, St. Louis. She was a lab technician at Merck Industries Merial Laboratories and Callaway Community Hospital.
Survivors include: one brother, Tom Tyler, Herndon, Va.; two sisters, Beverly Granito, Columbus, Ohio, and Fay Terwilleger, Bowling Green, Ky.
Service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Holts Summit.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
