LEE

Sheila Fairchild Lee, 48, Rocky Mount, died Jan. 2, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.

She was born July 16, 1951, in Marshall, a daughter of Emmett A. and Christine Davis Fairchild. Her mother survives in Etterville. She was married Sept. 23, 1969, in Eldon, to William R. Lee, who survives at the home.

A graduate of Eldon High School, she operated Fair-Lee Carpet and Furniture in Mt. Pleasant.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Angela S. Bashore, Eldon; two brothers, Michael Steven Fairchild, Marshall, and Stuart Christopher Fairchild, Etterville; and two grandsons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Jim McGowin will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Eldon.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.

MYERS

The Rev. Eldon Ray Myers, 77, Eldon, died Jan. 2, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Nov. 22, 1922, in Philpot, Ky., a son of the Rev. Eldon L. and Elizabeth Ray Myers. He was married June 17, 1967, in Eldon, to Betty Sue Bauman, who survives at the home.

He graduated from Daviess County High School and Georgetown College, both in Kentucky. He was a 1958 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas . He moved to Eldon in 1960. He worked for Barbaricks Market from 1961-1968, and for Paul's Supermarket Inc. from 1968-1999.

He pastored churches from 1961-1992. He also did interim and supply preaching in the churches of the Miller County Baptist Association, Lamine Baptist Association and Concord Baptist Association. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, the Eldon Ministerial Alliance, and was a past member of the Optimist Club.

Other survivors include: one son, Ray Allan Myers, Princeton, Ky.; one daughter, Sue Ellen Myers, Columbia; and one brother Wilbur Dayton Myers, Owensboro, Ky.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Randall Bunch will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Eldon Building Fund.

ABBOTT

Dannie Fremont Abbott, 41,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 2, 2000, at his home.

He was born July 13, 1958, in Fulton, a son of Everett and Lillie Strode Abbott. His father survives in  Jefferson City.

A graduate of  Jefferson City High School, he attended Metro Business College and owned and operated Abbott Janitorial Service.

Survivors include: one son, Nicholas Abbott,  Jefferson City; one daughter, Shyla Abbott, Fort Smith, Ark.; one brother, Ricky Abbott, Fulton; two sisters, Sandra Spicer,  Jefferson City, and Vickie Abbott, Tampa, Fla.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors,  Jefferson City. The Rev. John Kerr will officiate. Burial will be in Auxvasse Cemetery with Bishop William Rogers officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

ABBOTT

Linda Sue Abbott, 39,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 2, 2000, at her home.

She was born April 12, 1960, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of William L. and Emma Frances Phillips Pauley. Her mother survives in  Jefferson City.

A graduate of  Jefferson City High School, she worked in the Missouri House of Representatives as a composing and editing operator.

Survivors include: one daughter, Melissa Pauley,  Jefferson City; one stepson, Nicholas Abbott,  Jefferson City; and two brothers, Robert Pauley and Tim Pauley, both of  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors,  Jefferson City. The Rev. LaVarn Williford and Rev. Richard Erhardt will officiate. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the Melissa Pauley Education Fund.

DIETZEL

Marie L. Dietzel, 71, Jamestown, died Jan. 3, 2000, at Moniteau Care Center, California.

She was born Jan. 17, 1928, in Lupus, a daughter of Lawrence H. and Clara Elizabeth Berger Dietzel. Her stepmother, Dora Dietzel, survives in Jamestown.

She worked for Peoples Bank, Jamestown, Columbia Credit Bureau, Boone County National Bank and Cargill Inc. A member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Jamestown, she taught Sunday school and served on several church boards.

Survivors include two brothers, John H. "Jack" Dietzel, Brookfield, and Lawrence A. "Junior" Dietzel, Centertown.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. The Rev. Chester Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's UCC Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's UCC Cemetery Fund, c/o Harold Haldiman, Jamestown, Mo. 65046.

HAKE

Daniel H. Hake Sr., 50, Lohman, died Jan. 3, 2000, near St. Martins from injuries sustained in a tractor accident.

He was born March 16, 1949, in St. Elizabeth, a son of John and Alta Brasier Hake. He was married Nov. 9, 1974, in St. Anthony, to Donna K. Stroyick, who survives in Meta. He was married April 24, 1992, in Lohman, to Glenda K. Oberbeck Plochberger, who survives at home.

An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he worked at the Langenberg Hat Company, St. Elizabeth. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Russellville.

Other survivors include: one son, Daniel Hake Jr.,  Jefferson City; one stepson, Mitchell Plochberger, Lohman; one daughter, Misty Hake, Meta; one stepdaughter, Michelle Collins,  Jefferson City; nine brothers, John Hake, Kenneth Hake, Marshall Hake, Larry Hake and Gary Hake, all of St. Louis, Harold Hake and Fred Hake, both of St. Elizabeth, and Norbert Hake and Virgil Hake, both of  Jefferson City; four sisters, Leona Otto, Meta, Betty Ross,  Jefferson City, and Norma Holtmeyer and Virginia Bunch, both of St. Louis; one granddaughter and one step granddaughter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lohman. The Rev. Carl Gauck and Sister Donna Eggering will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Lohman, with military rites by the Missouri Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Building Fund.

BEDSWORTH

Cassie Lynn Bedsworth, 4, daughter of Jason S. and Lynn Ann Koelbl Bedsworth, New Bloomfield, died Jan. 2, 2000, at her home.

She was born Sept. 22, 1995.

Other survivors include: three brothers, Greg Bedsworth, Cody Bedsworth and Tommy Bedsworth, all of the home; paternal grandparents, Clark and Connie Bedsworth, New Bloomfield; and maternal grandfather, William John Koelbl, formerly of New Bloomfield.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Don Munford will officiate. Burial will be in Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery, Guthrie.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

EHRHARDT

Welma M. Ehrhardt, 80,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 4, 2000, at  Jefferson City Manor Care Center.

She was born March 25, 1919, near  Jefferson City, a daughter of Albert and Ella Angerer Ehrhardt.

She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church near  Jefferson City and attended the Zion Lutheran School. She worked in the art department of Concordia Publishing House in St. Louis for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include: one brother, Cleo Ehrhardt,  Jefferson City; and one sister, Margaret Young, St. Louis.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. John Hobratschk will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to Heisinger Lutheran Home or  Jefferson City Manor Care Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.

HANNOLD

Helen Hannold, 87,  Jefferson City, died Dec. 30, 1999.

Graveside services and entombment will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the mausoleum of Riverview Cemetery. The Rev. R. W. Beard will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

KIDWELL

Iva G. Kidwell, 86, Eldon, died Jan. 3, 2000, at Eldon Health Care Center.

She was born April 16, 1913, in Ulman, a daughter of Fred and Bertha Bowlin Robinson. She was married Aug. 26, 1941, in Versailles, to Herbert D. Kidwell, who died June 3, 1991.

She worked as a seamstress in Tipton for many years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one brother, John Robinson, Pleasant Hill; and two sisters, Ila Van Hooser and Edith Gambill, both of Eldon.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Randall Bunch will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church.
