LAMBERT

Iziha Thomas Lambert, infant son of Thomas L. Lambert and Susan Jo Simms,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 23, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 16, 1999, in  Jefferson City. His parents survive at the home.

Other survivors include: two sisters, Morgan C. Recio, of the home, and Carly M. Lambert, Hannibal; maternal grandparents, Joe and Chris Simms,  Jefferson City; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Ethel Lambert, Hannibal, and Phyllis Cole, Fort Madison, Iowa.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Vern Williford will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials are suggested to the Morgan C. Recio Education Fund.

RUTH

Services were Tuesday for Ernest T. Ruth, 69, Macks Creek, who died Jan. 23, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

He was born Dec. 17, 1930, in the state of Kansas, a son of Marion F. and Ardena Sheiral Ruth.

A farmer, he was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one stepson, James C. North, Lees Summit, and one stepdaughter, Rosalee Willis, Preston.

Private graveside services were in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Macks Creek.

Arrangements were under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Macks Creek.

WEHMEYER

Services were today for Dora Ann Wehmeyer, 83, Columbia, who died Jan. 24, 2000, at The Williamsburg.

She was born April 4, 1916, in Callaway County, a daughter of John H. and Anna Haid Wehmeyer.

She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Church, St. Louis.

She is survived by three nephews, including John Lee Wehmeyer, Holts Summit, and five nieces.

Graveside services were in Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Evangelical Church, 9801 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63141.

Arrangements were under the direction of Nilson Funeral Home, Columbia.

WEIHER

Louise M. Weiher, 92, Linn, died Jan. 25, 2000, at Green Meadows Health Care Center, Linn.

She was born March 27, 1907, in Osage County, a daughter of Emil and Celestine Jacques Baclesse. She was married Nov. 2, 1926, in Linn, to Jess Weiher, who died Sept. 19, 1980.

She was employed by Obermann's Pants Manufacturer and Linn Manufacturing Companies. She was a member of  Oklahoma Church of Christ.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. Eric Braman will officiate. Burial will be in Perry St. Isadore Cemetery, Osage County.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to Perry St. Isadore Cemetery Fund.

SILFIES

Rhoma G. Silfies, 91,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 24, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 1, 1908, in Kulm, N.D., a daughter of F.J. and Emma Martin Rost. She was married June 1, 1930, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Orval C. Silfies, who died Jan. 4, 1979.

She attended school in Sioux Falls and received a degree in education from Augustana College. She taught in South Dakota before moving to  Jefferson City in 1946. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was a deaconess. She was a charter member of the Memorial Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include: one brother, Maurice M. Rost, Sioux Falls; one sister, Katherine Rost, Sioux Falls; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

One son, Richard D. Silfies, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. R.W. Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.

SHAW

James Lindley Shaw, 81, Olean, died Jan. 25, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born June 5, 1918, near Olean, a son of James E. and Rella Gertrude Taylor Shaw. He was married Feb. 10, 1946, in Eldon, to Lura Maxine Franklin, who survives at the home.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a lifetime member of Miller County VFW Post 2442. He was a 1937 graduate of Olean High School and was past president of the Olean School Reunion Group. He was past mayor of Olean. He worked for Gattermeir Olean Milling Company as a contracted truck driver. He worked for Eldon Administrative Unit R-1 as a school bus driver, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church near Olean.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Linda Christner, Eldon; one brother, Kenneth Shaw, Eldon; and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial, with military honors, will be in Olean Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society's youth tobacco prevention programs.

ALTHAGE

Dora M. Althage, 93, Washington , died Jan. 25, 2000.

She was born Feb. 6, 1906, in Leslie, a daughter of Henry and Mathilda Groppe Kormeier. She was married Jan. 10, 1932, in Beaufort, to Adolph Althage, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Howard Althage, Washington , Gilbert Althage,  Jefferson City, and Richard Althage, Arlington, Texas ; four daughters, Esther Scheer, Arnold, Mary Olson, Grand Junction, Colo., Stella Lohmer, Lyon, and Dorothy Kassam, Union; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ebenezer Lutheran Church of Port Hudson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington .

Memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Hour or to Ebenezer Lutheran Church.

DeWESPLORE

John Clark DeWesplore, 75,  Jefferson City, died Jan. 27, 2000, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

He was born April 19, 1924, in  Jefferson City, a son of Louis and Agnes Clark DeWesplore. He was married June 5, 1976, in  Jefferson City, to Shirley J. McKim, who survives at the home.

He was a 1942 graduate of St. Peter's High School. He was a gas truck driver and deliverer for  Jefferson City Oil for 42 years until his retirement in 1987.

He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Other survivors include: three sons, Jean D. McKim,  Jefferson City, Matthew McKim, Linn, and Sam McKim, Holts Summit; one daughter, Lois Nagel, New Bloomfield; one brother, J.B. DeWesplore,  Jefferson City; two sisters, Lois Luetkemeyer and Lola Deuser, both of  Jefferson City; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald W. Lammers will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Peter's Catholic Church.

DREPS

Irl G. Dreps, 69, Springfield, formerly of  Jefferson City, died Jan. 25, 2000, at St. John's Regional Health Center.

He was born July 9, 1930, in Fulton, a son of Irl. B. and Alma Galwith Dreps. He was married in Fulton to Louise McBride, who survives at the home.

He attended school in Fulton, lived in  Jefferson City from 1959 to 1977 and then moved to Springfield. An Army veteran, he retired as president of ANDA Inc. in 1990.

He then operated the Finley River Car Wash in Ozark for five years. He was past president of the Springfield Tip Off Club.

He was a member of South Street Christian Church, where he was a deacon and a member of the Fellowship Committee.

Other survivors include: one son, Kevin Dreps, Springfield; one daughter, Karen Uhr, Springfield; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at South Street Christian Church. The Rev. George Latimer will officiate. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Springfield.

Memorials are suggested to South Street Christian Church, 500 South Street, Springfield, Mo. 65806; or the Diabetes Association, 1944 E. Sunshine, Springfield, Mo. 65804.

SIEBENMORGEN

Neta E. Siebenmorgen, 96, Gravois Mills, died Jan. 26, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

She was born Feb. 21, 1903, in Oak Grove, a daughter of Jasper and Vena Fiskbach Webb. She was married June 25, 1929, to William Paul Siebenmorgen, who died in 1975.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Laurie.

Survivors include: two sons, Ray Siebenmorgen and Gerald Siebenmorgen, both of Sunrise Beach; two daughters, Frances Moore, Aurora, Colo., and Rosemary McKenzie, Gravois Mills; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

One son, Donald Siebenmorgen, and one daughter, Joyce Watkins, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Msgr. Gerard Poelker will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Peters Cemetery, Mercier, Kan.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
