OTT

Services were Jan. 29, 2000, for Raymond Ott, 69, Campbell, Calif., formerly of Russellville, who died Jan. 22, 2000.

He was born March 20, 1930, in Russellville, a son of Albert J. and Bertha A. Jahreis Ott. He was married to Thais Ott, who survives at the home.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. A graduate of Russellville High School, he earned a degree in electrical engineering. He was a self-employed contractor, building commercial and residential structures in the state of California.

He was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, San Jose, Calif., where he served as Church Council president, taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and chaired a Call committee.

Other survivors include: three daughters; two sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Russellville, and Pauline Del Genio, Medway, Mass.; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church.

Memorials are suggested to St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 5100 Camden Ave., San Jose, Calif. 95101.

Arrangements were under the direction of Spangler Mortuary, Los Altos, Calif.

SULLIVAN

Ruth Eleanor Sullivan, 91, Fulton, died Feb. 10, 2000, at Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born Oct. 17, 1908, in Florissant, a daughter of William A. and Kate Mae Walker Pasley. She was married Dec. 4, 1937, in Boonville, to Earl Timothy Sullivan, who died April 2, 1979.

A 1927 graduate of Auxvasse High School, she attended Northeast Missouri State College for two years. She taught school in Elm Springs and Callaway County and worked at the bookstore at William Woods and the Sports Shop, Fulton. She was a member of First Christian Church, Fulton. She was past noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge, Fulton, and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Raymond McCallister and the Rev. Raymond Dunlap will officiate. Burial will be in Auxvasse Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church.

HANKS

Lee Ola Hanks, 87, Camdenton, died Feb. 10, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born Oct. 16, 1912, in Eureka Springs, Ark., a daughter of John and Julia Burton Turner. She was married Nov. 11, 1927, in Sapulpa, Okla., to Rev. Argus C. Hanks, who died July 28, 1966.

A homemaker, she was a member of Linn Creek Baptist Church. She lived in Camden County since 1928.

Survivors include: three sons, Oris C. Hanks, Montreal, Jimmie D. Hanks, Camdenton, and Wendell Walter Hanks, Ontario, Can.; four daughters, Wanda Lee Bell, Springfield, Barbara Jean Sablan, Whittier, Calif., Janice Louise Brown, Ft. Scott, Kan., and Roxann Wright, Camdenton; 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Linn Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Rick Ginnings will officiate. Burial will be in the Laughlin Cemetery, Camdenton.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. today at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.

Memorials are suggested to the Linn Creek Baptist Church.

RUSSELL

Leonard Russell, 54, Defiance, formerly of Vienna, died Feb. 11, 2000, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis.

He was born Dec. 14, 1945, in Vienna, a son of Herman and Golda Copeland Russell. His mother survives in St. James. He was married April 24, 1965, in Vienna, to Mary Schwartze, who survives at the home.

He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, New Melle. He was group manager for Boeing Aircraft Corportation for 34 years.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jeffrey Russell, O'Fallon, and Randy Russell, Florissant; one daughter, Patricia Dulz, Kirkwood; two brothers, Jim Russell, Freeburg, and Ronnie Russell, Barnett; one sister, LaVerne Haller, Freeburg; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Monday at Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna. The Rev. Joe Weber and Rev. John Schmitz will officiate. Burial will be in the Breeding Cemetery near Freeburg.

Visitation will be from 9-11:30 a.m. Monday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

GIEDINGHAGEN

Donald R. Giedinghagen, 73, Holts Summit, died Jan. 18, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born July 16, 1926, in St. Louis, a son of Benjamin W. and Jessie B. Meyer Giedinghagen. He was married May 12, 1973, in Union, to Earlene J. Stuart, who survives at the home.

He served in the Navy from 1943-1050 and in the Air Force from 1951-1965. He also sold real estate and retired as a quality control inspector at the Callaway Nuclear Plant. After retirement, he worked part-time for several golf courses. He was a member of the VFW Post 1003 and the American Legion Post 5.

Other survivors include: two sons, Donald E. Giedinghagen and Mark M. Giedinghagen, both of Union; two daughters, Jacqulyne K. Leicht, Texas , and Belinda L. Giedinghagen; two sisters, Eveline M. Horrell, Spruce Pine, N.C., and Beatrice M. Thompson, Birmingham, Ala.; two stepsons, Dennis D. Crews, Holts Summit, and Larry A. Stuart, Ruffin, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Diana K. Smith, Villa Ridge, and Charlene R. Bowen, Holts Summit; one granddaughter; seven stepgrandchildren; and one great-stepgrandson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Oltmann Funeral Home, Union, is in charge of arrangements.

JOHNSON

Ray Johnson Sr., 69, Iberia, died Feb. 11, 2000, at his home.

He was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Independence, Kan., a son of Herbert C. and Clarice Meiser Johnson. He was married Dec. 18, 1948, in Laramie, Wyo., to Helen Watson, who survives at the home.

An Army veteran, he was a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad based in Cheyenne, Wyo., until retiring in 1989.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a member of Iberia Assembly of God Church.

Other survivors include: one son, Raymond James Johnson Jr., Iberia; two daughters, Carol Raines, Chey-enne, and Kati Chamberlain, Craig, Colo.; three sisters, Shirley Au-gustin, Ballwin, Susan McRey-nolds, Osage Beach, and Donna Lehamm, St. Charles; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Iberia Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Jeff Higbie will officiate. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, near Crocker.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.

PHELPS

Frank Lane Phelps, 88,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 11, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 14, 1911, near Linn, a son of Steve and Fannie Hicks Phelps. He was married Nov. 29, 1930, in Columbia, to Dorothy Lodena Neely, who survives at the home.

A graduate of  Jefferson City High School, he was a registered mechanic at area Ford dealerships until his retirement. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Other survivors include one sister, Frieda Green, Raytown.

One son, Frankie Lee Phelps, died Jan. 5, 1986.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Ervin Junkans and the Rev. Anthony Alter will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

ANDERSON

Rebecca Lynn Anderson, 20,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 12, 2000, at University of Missouri-Co-lumbia Hospital and Clinics.

She was born Jan. 16, 1980, in Topeka, Kan., a daughter of Van and Carol Hock Anderson. Her father and stepmother, Van and Judith Anderson, survive at the Lake of the Ozarks. Her mother, Carol Anderson, survives in  Jefferson City.

A graduate of  Jefferson City High School, she was attending Central Methodist College, Fayette, majoring in psychology.

She attended First United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include three brothers, Chris Anderson, Lake of the Ozarks, David Anderson,  Jefferson City, and Tim Anderson, Australia.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. E. Gene Rooney will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to Callaway Hills Animal Shelter or Central Methodist College.

CASE

Margaret G. Case, 80, Fulton, died Feb. 11, 2000, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.

She was born Dec. 31, 1919, in Guthrie, a daughter of Logan and Hattie Jones Trammell. She was married Nov. 24, 1937, in  Jefferson City, to William Ray Case, who died Oct. 17, 1984.

She was a charter member of Reform Baptist Church and a member of the Reform Community Club.

Survivors include: two daughters, Hazel Elder, Fulton, and Louise Mistler, Warrensburg; four sons, Ralph Case, Russell Case, George Case and Billy Case, all of Fulton; one brother, Courtney Trammell, Mexico, Mo.; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Gary Garrett will officiate. Burial will be in Millersburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to the Lupus Foundation.
