TREMBLAY

Judith E. Tremblay, 57, Gravois Mills, died Feb. 15, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born June 16, 1942, in Ft. Wayne, Ind., a daughter of Richard and Edith Estlick. She was married June 19, 1991, in LaCrosse, Wis., to Philip J. Tremblay, who survives at the home.

She worked as a newspaper editor and technical writer for several Mid-Missouri firms, and was founder and president of Impact Unlimited. She was a dog breeder and registered judge for the American Kennel Club.

She attended Walk on Water Faith Church, Osage Beach.

Other survivors include: two sons, Scott Bock, Asheville, N.C., and Brian Bock, Downey, Calif.; two daughters, Lisa Jaeger, U.S. Navy, and Laura Mozurkewich, Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; one brother, Charles Estlick, Sacramento, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date. The remains were donated to Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville.

Memorials are suggested to Friendship House, Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri, 601 E. High St.,  Jefferson City, Mo. 65101.

BENSON

Russell McFall Benson, 80, Fulton, died Feb. 18, 2000, at the Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

He was born June 8, 1919, in Williamsburg, a son of Marvin and Annie Love Benson. He was married March 17, 1950, in Fulton, to Helen Elizabeth Willett, who died April 4, 1998.

A veteran of the Coast Artillery during World War II, he and his brothers owned Benson Auto Shop. He was a member of IOOF Lodge and First Christian Church, Fulton.

Survivors include: one daughter, Bev Doward, Fulton; one brother, Charley Benson, Fulton; one sister, Audrey Redden, Fulton; three grandchildren, one step grandson, one step granddaughter and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Debo Funeral Chapel, Fulton. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

BALDWIN

Stanley Dean Baldwin, 65, Versailles, died Feb. 18, 2000, at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1934, in Osceola, Iowa, a son of Pierce and Alice Fouche Baldwin. He was married April 2, 1983, to Collie Sue Bailey Furney, who survives at the home.

A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was a central office technician for U.S. West Telephone Company for 33 years. A member of the Gravois Mills United Methodist Church, he was executive vice president of Communication Workers of America Union 7019 and served on the board of directors of Sun West Credit Union.

Other survivors include: three sons, Russell A. Brewer, Scottsdale, Ariz., Ken Furney, Eldon, and Donald Furney, Versailles; one daughter, Leslie Baldwin, Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Jerald Baldwin, Casa Grande, Ariz.; one sister, Eloise Esser, Prescott, Ariz.; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Gravois Mills United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dan Adkison will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Homes, Versailles.

Memorials are suggested to Option Home Health Missouri River Hospice, Versailles, Mo. 65084; or the Joseph P. Hennessey/Stanley Baldwin Scholarship Fund, 9224 North 5th St., Phoenix, Ariz. 85020.

GIBSON

Sheryl Lynn Gibson, 47, Holts Summit, died Feb. 18, 2000, at her home.

She was born Jan. 20, 1953, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Per-ry and Margaret Summers Gibson. Her mother survives in Holts Summit.

A graduate of Southern Boone County High School, she worked for K.I.D.S. Incorporated Child Care Center and Amega Mobile Homes. She was a member of Solid Rock Family Church and Phi Apple Pie Sorority.

Survivors include: one daughter, Shasati Gibson,  Jefferson City; three sisters, Vanda Rice, Ashland, Marsha Boelkes, Bonnots Mill, and Barbara Elliott, Holts Summit; and two brothers, Walter Gibson, Holts Summit, and Billy Gibson, Taos.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Solid Rock Family Church. The Rev. Joe Skiles will officiate. Burial will be in Bull Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Sheryl L. Gibson Scholarship Fund for the Arts Department at Southern Boone County High School, c/o Union Planters Bank.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.

KUBLI

Gene "Kib" Kubli, 67, California, Mo., died Feb. 17, 2000, at Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia.

He was born Aug. 25, 1932, near California, a son of Truman E. and Bertha Schwab Kubli. He was married in December 1971 in Montgomery City to Sharon Prior, who survives in Farber.

He attended Pluck School and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a well driller for Layne-Western in St. Louis.

He was confirmed in the United Church of Christ in California. He was a member of VFW Post 4345 and Fraternal Order of Eagles 4027, both in California.

Other survivors include: one daughter, LaGene Kubli Holmes, Mexico, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Brochelle Sherman; two stepsons, Timothy Tate and Philip Tate; one brother, Franklin Kubli, Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Pauline Crawford, California, and Karen Collins, Plattsmouth, Neb.; two grandchildren and nine stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Debbie Sinkenvich will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Defoe Cemetery near Russellville.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the Defoe Cemetery Fund, c/o Rex Volkart, California, Mo. 65018.

TOWLER

Ivan Towler, 82, Laurie, died Feb. 17, 2000, at Laurie Care Center.

He was born Oct. 9, 1917, in Topeka, Kan., a son of Ivan and Lillian Belle Colvin Towler. He was married April 29, 1946, in Las Vegas, to Helen Louis Simpson, who died Dec. 24, 1999.

An Army veteran of World War II, he worked in airline management for Flying Tiger Airlines. He was a member of Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurie.

Survivors include several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley will officiate. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.

BUSCH

Arthur L. Busch, 83, St. Louis, died Feb. 18, 2000, at his home.

He was born Nov. 21, 1916, in Osage County, a son of William and Anna Kuester Busch. He was married March 21, 1945, in Hope, to Arline A. Herndon, who survives at the home.

An employee of Ford Motor Company, he was a member of  Oklahoma Church of Christ, Linn, United Auto Workers, and VFW.

Survivors include: two sons, Arthur Busch Jr., Russellville, and Aaron Busch, St. Louis; three daughters, Aneta Johnson, St. Charles, Audrey Prince and Arleta Shell, both of St. Louis; one brother, Raymond Busch, St. Louis; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at  Oklahoma Church of Christ. Brother Don King will officiate. Burial will be in  Oklahoma Church of Christ Cemetery, near Linn.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.

Memorials are suggested to  Oklahoma Church Cemetery Fund.

LAMBERT

Virginia H. Lambert, 79, Russellville, died Feb. 19, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Callaway County. She was married in 1945 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Tom Lambert, who died in 1975.

Survivors include: one son, Jerry Giboney, Russellville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

No services are planned. Burial will be in Restwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Lake Jackson, Texas .

Arrangements are under the direction of Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville.

POLLOCK

Dorothy J. Pollock, 72, Sunrise Beach, died Feb. 18, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of Frank and Johanna Hampel Platzer. She was married April 2, 1966, to William "Bill" Pollock Jr., who survives at the home.

She and her husband owned and operated Dotties Den in Hurricane Deck.

Other survivors include one brother, Rudy Platzer, Dayton.

The body was cremated. No services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

WEBSTER

Rosa M. Webster, 98, Camdenton, died Feb. 18, 2000, at Ozark Care Center, Osage Beach.

She was born April 4, 1901, in Camden County, a daughter of John and Minnie West Rogers. She was married May 1, 1918, in Ha Ha Tonka, to Porter Webster, who died July 9, 1969.

A homemaker, she was a member of Webster Grove Baptist Church, Camdenton.

Survivors include: three sons, J.D. Webster, Macks Creek, Russell Webster, Osceola, and Mark Webster, Richland; four daughters, Freda Stoufer, Bolivar, Helen Morris, Fair Grove, and Nancy Sherwin and Dorothy Burns, both of Camdenton; one brother, Wade Rogers, Camdenton; 29 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandson.

Three sons, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Macks Creek. The Rev. Danny Hill and the Rev. Phil Burns will officiate. Burial will be in Macks Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Macks Creek.
