William J. VanLoo, 67, Jefferson City, died Feb. 16, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

BRAZELL
Patricia Lou Brazell, 62, Topeka, Kan., died Feb. 13, 2001, at Midland Hospice Care Center, Topeka.
She was a daughter of Walter and Mayme Brazell.
Survivors include one sister, Ruth Arena, Topeka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Burial will be in Roach Cemetery, near Newburg.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday.
MORICE
Marie Morice, 88, Jefferson City, died Feb. 15, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

PORTING
Cecilia C. Porting, 92, Jefferson City, formerly of Rich Fountain, died Feb. 14, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born March 2, 1908, in Koeltztown, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Bock Albers. She was married Oct. 17, 1928, to Theodore Frederick Porting, who died Sept. 14, 1979.
She attended school in Koeltztown. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City; Sacred Heart Church, Rich Fountain; Legion of Mary; St. Ann's Sodality; and the Immaculate Conception Prayer Line.
She was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at Sacred Heart School.
Survivors include: one son, Harold Porting, Meta; two daughters, Mildred Burks and Linda Northway, both of Jefferson City; one sister, Louise Baumhoer, Jefferson City; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
One son, Frederick William Porting, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Mark Porterfield and the Rev. Rob Fields will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Rich Fountain.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City, Sacred Heart Church, Rich Fountain., or a charity of the donor's choice.
TICHELKAMP
Viola H.J. Tichelkamp, 81, Jefferson City, died Feb. 16, 2001, at Jefferson City Manor Nursing Home.

THULI
Vera E. Thuli, 74, Morrison, died Feb. 14, 2001, at Villa Marie Nursing Home, Jefferson City.
She was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Morrison, a daughter of Raymond M. and Alice C. Schmitz Struttmann. She was married Sept. 20, 1969, in Hermann, to Howard L. Thuli, who survives at the home.
She was a member of Assumption Church, Morrison, AARP and the Catholic Knights of America. She worked as a general laborer for Stevens Toy Factory, Hermann.
Other survivors include: one son, Daniel R. Augustine, Chamois; one daughter, Sheryl Schulte, Jefferson City; one brother, Robert Struttmann, Festus; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Church. Fr. Pat Dowling will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Morrison.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Morrison, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Masses or Villa Marie Nursing Home, Jefferson City.
WILKINSON
Paul "Leo" Wilkinson, 70, Sumter, S.C., died Feb. 13, 2001, in Sumter.
He was born Jan. 1, 1931, in Rose Bud, Ark., a son of Paul "Jack" and Dorathy Evens Wilkinson. He was married Jan. 18, 1964, in Grandview, to Betty Ferguson, who survives at the home.
A graduate of Rose Bud High School, Rose Bud, he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He ran the "Country Place" sandwich and donut shop in Rose Bud for 16 years. After earning his funeral director's license in Dallas, he worked for Roberts Funeral Home, Boonville, Ark., and Frazer Funeral Home, Warren, Ark.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Ark., and Sedalia Masonic Lodge No. 236, Sedalia. He was also a member of Naples Chapter No. 1 Order of the Eastern Star and Rainbow Dad for Naples Assembly, LT, International Order of Rainbow for Girls, both of Naples, Italy.
Other survivors include: one son, Richard Wilkinson, St. Joseph; one daughter, Susan Henry, Summerville, S.C.; and five grandsons.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Bud First Baptist Church, Rose Bud. Graveside services, with military honors, will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Masonic Cemetery, Tipton. The Rev. Dusty Klein will officiate.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
MUMFORD
Virgie "Rea" Mumford, 76, St. Charles, died May 26, 2000, at St. Joseph Health Center, St. Charles.
He was born May 6, 1924, in St. Albans, a son of George and Pearl Brown. She was married to Jack Mumford, who survives in St. Charles.
She was a homemaker.
Other survivors include: one son, Larry D. Mumford, St. Charles; four daughters, Deborah Schnedler, Russellville, Karen Montgomery, St. Charles, Susan Milburn, Florissant, and Terry Gorman, O'Fallon; two brothers, William Brown and Gil Brown, both of St. Charles; one sister, Virginia Kampmann, St. Charles; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Baue Chapel, St. Charles. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
SINGER
Bessie Eleanor Singer, 90, Tipton, died May 25, 2000, at Tipton Manor.
She was born Feb. 19, 1910, in California, a daughter of Millard and Letha Allee Milburn. She was married in 1929 to John Henry Singer, who died in 1971.
She worked as a matron at the Missouri Women's Prison for 12 years and was a member of Latham Christian Church.
Survivors include: two sons, John Allen Singer, Tipton, and David Kevin Singer, Reading, Pa.; two grandsons and five great-grandsons.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. Robert Sneller and the Rev. Randy Fischer will officiate. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday.
AMBLER
Alice L. Ambler, 86, Jefferson City, died May 24, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 25, 1913, in Jay County, Ind., a daughter of Roy and Inez Renner Ambler.
A graduate of St. Ann High School, St. Ann, she worked as an accountant for Weil Clothing Company, St. Louis, and as the controller for Midland Optical Company, St. Louis. She had lived in the Jefferson City area since 1978.
Survivors include one son, E. John Ambler, Jefferson City, and one grandson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. R. William Peckman will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to Maries Manor Rehabilitation and Care Center, Vienna.
BURNAM
Franklin Laverne Burnam, 67, Holts Summit, died May 24, 2000, at Jefferson City Manor Care.
He was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Callao, a son of Ollie L. and Ola Bea Corey Burnam. He was married Dec. 6, 1975, in Jefferson City, to Dolores Tence McConnell, who died June 26, 1984.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was in the Army for 23 years, retiring as a master sergeant. He earned an associate of arts degree in heating and air-conditioning from Linn Technical College and worked at Tan-Tar-A.
Survivors include: one daughter, Rose Mary Cole, Duvall, Wash.; four sisters, Elsie Tuttle, Blue Springs, Juanita Tuttle, Pasadena, Texas , and Wanda Gosney and Ethelyn Day, both of Moberly; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Kathy Jordan, died May 12, 2000.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald L. Lammers will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Jefferson City & Mid-Missouri.
McKEE
Dorothy M. McKee, 72, Jefferson City, died May 25, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Dec. 2, 1927, in Elmer, a daughter of Clarence and Amy Eitel Isaacson. She was married Oct. 29, 1949, in Little Rock, Ark., to James I. McKee, who died March 25, 1997.
A lifelong resident of Central Missouri, she graduated from Elmer High School, Elmer.
She was employed as business manager with First Equity Life Insurance Co. for 20 years until her retirement in 1989.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include: two sisters, Pearl Upschulte and Nellie Sanders, both of Jefferson City; and one brother, Phillip Isaacson, Holts Summit.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Jerome Brownlee will officiate. Burial will be in Dick Lawson Cemetery, near Iberia.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Saturday.
NEVINS
Services were Wednesday for Willard Taylor Nevins, 76, Jefferson City, who died May 20, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Jefferson City, a son of James and Elsie Farris Nevins. He was married March 27, 1949, to Jewell Faye Martin, who survives.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he worked as a self-employed painter in Callaway and Cole counties. A former Fulton resident, he was retired.
Other survivors include two sons, Jerry Nevins and Bruce Nevins, both of Jefferson City, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. Bruce Williamson officiated. Burial was in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
WILLIAMS
Herbert L. Williams, 71, Loose Creek, died Sept. 21, 2000, at his home.
Arrangements are incomplete at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.
ZIMMERMAN
James W. Zimmerman, 65, Fayetteville, Ark., died Sept. 21, 2000, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale, Ark.
He was born Jan. 29, 1935, in McGirk, a son of Malcolm and Opal Voigt Zimmerman. He was married in 1955 to Betty Zimmerman, who survives at the home.
He was a retired painter.
Other survivors include: one son, Jay Zimmerman, Springdale; two daughters, Susan McCranie, Fayetteville, and Kristy Unkel, Springdale; one brother, Bob Zimmerman, Independence; two sisters, Janet Bowlin, Kansas City, and Judy Bochard, California; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services and burial will be in California.
