BRADFORD

David Bradford, 64, Columbia, died March 8, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.

He was born May 26, 1935, in Columbia, a son of Jake and Idell Dunham Bradford. He was married to Mary Ann Bradford, who survives in Columbia.

He attended Douglass High School, Columbia. He was U.S. government employee and a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, Columbia.

Other survivors include: one son, David Bradford Jr., Columbia; three daughters, Mary J. Sanders,  Jefferson City, Jo Elizabeth Bradford and Janet Logan, both of Columbia; three sisters, Belle Payton, Katie Reynolds and Idell Martin, all of Columbia; three brothers, Jake Bradford Jr., Floyd Bradford and Edgar Bradford, all of Columbia; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Luke United Methodist Church. The Rev. Raymond Hayes will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Warren Funeral Chapel, Columbia.

LEHMAN

Herman C. Lehman, 85, Versailles, died March 10, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.

He was born Nov. 1, 1914, near Versailles, a son of Joseph A. and Bertha M. Garber Lehman. He was married Feb. 1, 1975, to Clarice Marie Gerber, who died Feb. 15, 1984.

A farmer and stockman, he worked at Kidwell Wilbert Vault Company and Kidwell Monuments, Versailles. He was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church, near Versailles.

Survivors include five brothers, Roland Lehman, Madison, Wis., Dr. Joseph Lehman, Fort Collins, Colo., Quinten Lehman, Versailles, Samuel Lehman, Greenville, Ohio, and Daniel Lehman, Rancho Cordova, Calif.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bethel Mennonite Church, Versailles. The Rev. Tom Voth will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

Memorials are suggested to Bethel Cemetery.

BROWN

William G. "Bill" Brown, 69,  Jefferson City, died March 8, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Soldier, Kan., a son of Maurice S. and Calla Pollock Brown. He was married Nov. 1, 1952, in Topeka, Kan., to Lucille Scheidegger, who survives at the home.

A 1949 graduate of Soldier High School, he served in the Army National Guard from 1949 to 1957, where he attained the rank of sergeant.

He was a special investigator for the Kansas Motor Vehicle Department from 1958 to 1964. He also was a district sales manager for Garst & Thomas and Pioneer International from 1964 until his retirement in 1993.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Holton, Kan., and the American Legion.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Linda Waisner,  Jefferson City, and Renee Scheperle, Lohman; two sons, Mark Brown, Lohman, and Robb Brown, Nixa; one sister, June Stanton, Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Community Christian Church. The Rev. David Avery will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4:30-6 p.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.

STEGEMAN

Raymond T. Stegeman, 78, Taos, died March 10, 2000, at his home.

He was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Taos, a son of Henry and Anna Marie Forck Stegeman. He was married Sept. 27, 1947, in Taos, to Betty Weavers, who survives at the home.

He was a plumber most of his life. He retired from Union Local 35 in 1985. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Other survivors include: one son, Kenneth R. Stegeman, Smithville; four daughters, Linda K. Garner, Searcy, Ark., Shirley M. White , Henley, Becky S. Brenneke,  Jefferson City, and Judy A. Verslues, Taos; one sister, Irene Veltrop, Taos; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Clohessy will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Taos, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Community Hospice, 3600 I-70 Drive Southeast, Suite H, Columbia, Mo. 65202 or the American Cancer Society.

SHELLEY

Haldine M. Shelley, 85,  Jefferson City, died March 8, 2000, at Lutheran Medical Center, Wheat Ridge, Colo.

He was born April 19, 1914, near Shiloh, a son of James C. and Edna Miller Shelley. He was married Aug. 31, 1942, in Stark, Fla., to Hildann Rhoads, who survives in California.

A graduate of California High School, he attended Kansas State University and was an Army veteran. He was food service supervisor for the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was a member of First Baptist Church, California Lodge 183 AF&AM,  Jefferson Chapter 496 OES, and Columbia Lodge of Perfection-Scottish Rite.

Other survivors include: one son, George R. Shelley, California; two daughters, Annell Hoy, Caracas, Venezuela, and Sharon "Sha" Bishop, Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. David Phelps will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Enloe Cemetery, near Russellville.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Masonic Homes of Missouri, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 South Oak St., California, Mo. 65018.

BLAIR

Audrey F. Blair, 76, Roach, died March 10, 2000, at her home.

She was born May 16, 1923, in Roach, a daughter of Claude and Minnie Rooffener Osborn. She was married Sept. 11, 1945, in  Jefferson City, to Thurl W. Blair, who survives at the home.

She lived most of her life on the farm where she was born. She worked for 31 years as a packer at Blair Cedar in Camdenton.

She was a member of Ozark Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church, Roach.

Other survivors include: one son, Dennis Blair, Roach; three daughters, Linda Honeyfield, Collins, and Wanda Jones and Kathryn Slavens, both of Roach; two brothers, Kenny Osborn and Russell Osborn, both of Camdenton; two sisters, Chapel Creech and Ann Stewart, both of Springfield; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, David Blair.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ozark Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church, Roach. The Rev. J.D. Park will officiate. Burial will be in Big Niangua Cemetery, Roach.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

PORTER

Ethel Mae Porter, 80, Eldon, died March 10, 2000, at her daughter's home.

She was born Oct. 13, 1919, in Arkansas, a daughter of Wilson and Evelyn King. She was married June 29, 1937, in Tuscumbia, to Dan Porter, who died June 13, 1989.

She was a line worker at Ralston Purina, California, and a member of Aurora Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include: three daughters, Lena Porter and Ida Polly, both of Barnett, and Mary Whitten; five sons, Danny Porter, Bill Porter, Charley Porter, Roy Porter and Donald Porter, all of Eldon; two sisters; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Gerald Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Dooley Cemetery, Eldon.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

ROBERTSON

Opal Juanita Robertson, 77, Osage Beach, died March 10, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Marshall, a daughter of Charles and Norene Ainsworth Brumble. She was married Sept. 13, 1941, in Marshall, to George Robertson Jr., who died Jan. 2, 1988.

She lived most of her life in the Tipton community. She worked for Ralston Purina in California for 13 years.

Survivors include: two sons, George G. Robertson and Jerry L. Robertson, both of Osage Beach; four daughters, Gwen Robertson, Brazito, and Linda Schuster, Janie Robertson and Cheryl Billingsley, all of Tipton; two sisters, Minnie Speed and Jane Williams, both of Kansas City, Kan.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Two daughters died in infancy.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meisenheimer Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. Don Schutte will officiate. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

THOMAS

Eva Lucille Thomas, 75, formerly of  Jefferson City, died March 8, 2000, in Gulfport, Miss.

She was married to Logan Harold Wilson, then Hubert Thomas, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was a native of  Jefferson City and had lived in Gulfport for more than 30 years.

She attended the Mississippi City Baptist Church, was active in the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and was a member of the VFW and DAV.

Survivors include: one son, Richard Wilson Sr., Pleasant Valley; one daughter, Bonnie Schwintek, Eldon; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Allen Cemetery, Olean.

Services also were to be held today in Gulfport.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

DUNN

Deborah Lynn Dunn, 39, Eldon, died March 11, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born July 23, 1960, in Joliet, Ill., a daughter of Russell Carrico and Barbara Jean Lambert. Her father survives in Eugene. Her mother, Barbara Jean Lambert Crum, survives in Versailles. Her adoptive father, Paul L. Hubbard, survives in  Jefferson City. She was married April 12, 1997, in Eldon, to Jerry Dunn, who survives at the home.

She was employed as a licensed practical nurse since 1981. She was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church, Eldon.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Jeanie Marie Neel, Eldon; one son, Brian Joseph Neel, Eldon; two sisters and one brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Don E. Renken and the Rev. Raymond Hogan will officiate. The remains will be cremated. Private burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Marys Oncology Unit or the Comprehensive Cancer Clinic.
