LIVENGOOD

Jerry Livengood Sr., 61, Eldon, died March 24, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born June 23, 1938, in St. Louis, a son of Robert and Millie Taft Livengood. He was married May 9, 1963, in St. Louis, to Diana Livengood, who survives at the home.

He was an assembler at Multiplex Company, Ballwin.

Survivors include: one daughter, Vikie Williams, Eldon; two sons, Gerald Livengood Jr.,  Jefferson City, and David Livengood, Eldon; four sisters, Marie Summers, Frankfort, Ill., Annie Kinder, Moberly, Thelma Place, St. Charles, and Dorothy Pasha, DeSoto; two brothers, Bill Livengood, Rocky Mount, and Bob Livengood, the state of California; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Major Elmer Trapp will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials are suggested in care of the family.

ANDREWS

Robert Irl Andrews, 81, Benkelman, Neb., died March 25, 2000, at Capital Healthcare.

He was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Benkelman, a son of O.C. and Genie Kershner Orlando. He was married in 1940 in Atwood, Kan., to Nina DeWester, who survives at the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Mel Andrews, Holts Summit, Jim Andrews, Palm Bay, Fla., and Morris Andrews, Kansas City; one brother, Al Andrews, Hillsboro, Ore.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be in Benkelman.

Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit.

ALLEN

Leonard Lewis Allen, 75, Cocoa, Fla., died March 21, 2000, at Cape Canaveral Hospital.

He was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Kansas City. He was married Sept. 30, 1960, in Sayer, Okla., to Vyrle Brumley, who died July 19, 1996.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 673 and the 37th Division Veterans Association.

Survivors include: three daughters, Linda Kelm, Eden Prairie, Minn., and Carla Mullen and Merila Kramer, both of Waseca, Minn.; two stepsons, Bobby Joe Edwards, Linn Creek, and Ronnie Lee Edwards, Billings; one sister, Mary Huber, Winnebago, Minn.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial, with military honors under the direction of Iberia VFW Post 6167 and Iberia American Legion Post 105, will be in Hawkeye Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday.

WALL

Lester "Farris" Wall, 80, Crocker, died March 25, 2000, at his home.

He was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Hawkeye, a son of William A. "Lonnie" and Ida Mae Thompson Wall. He was married Feb. 11, 1942, in Waynesville, to Juanita Duncan, who survives at the home.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was a farmer and owned a Century Farm. He worked for MFA Oil Company, Crocker, and was a minister in Panama. He preached for 57 years and was a member of Mt. View Church of Christ, Richland.

Other survivors include: five sons, Roland Wall and Rex Wall, both of Richland, and Randy Wall, Russell Wall and Roger Wall, all of Crocker; two daughters, Rhonda Thornsberry, Crocker, and Rhoda Koshla, Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister, Loretta Workman, Richland; one brother, Bobby Madden, Salina, Kan.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. Brother Jim Meredith will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Iberia.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to Lake Ozark Area Home Health and Hospice.

STEINBEISSER

Katharina Steinbeisser, 82,  Jefferson City, died March 25, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 8, 1917, in Plankstadt, Germany, a daughter of Michael and Eva Bess Kraft. She was married in 1936 in Plankstadt to Arthur Steinbeisser, who died in March 1945.

Attending school in Plankstadt, she was a resident of Mid-Missouri for 33 years. She worked for Chesebrough-Pond's USA until her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and did volunteer work at the St. Francis Xavier School library.

Survivors include: two daughters, Ingrid Buthod, Westphalia, and Ursula Ortmeyer,  Jefferson City; one son, Hubert Steinbeisser, Ketch, Germany; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Clohessy will officiate. A private family graveside service will follow.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Taos, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier School library.

SMITH

Henry H. Smith, 74, Holts Summit, died March 25, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born March 2, 1926, in Higginsville, a son of Wil-liam H. and Martha J. Mc-Donald Smith. He was married June 20, 1954, in Bogard, to Darlene Bishop, who survives at the home.

An Army veteran of World War II, he worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections from 1965 to 1975. He also worked for State Emergency Management from 1975 to 1988, retiring as an instrument technician.

He was a member of American Legion Roscoe Enloe Post 5, Victoria Chapter 14 Order of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge 43.

Other survivors include: one son, David E. Smith, Raytown; two daughters, Sheryl K. Smith, Holts Summit, and Connie L. Hegerfeld, Centertown; one sister, Cora Phillips, Lexington; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Milner will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

KENDRICK

Emma Kendrick, 84, California, Mo., died March 25, 2000, at Moniteau Care Center, California.

She was born Dec. 23, 1915, near Pisgah, a daughter of August and Johanna Anna Baer Knipker. She was married July 5, 1958, to Clay R. Kendrick, who died Jan. 24, 1989.

She worked for Bendix Aviation, Kansas City, and was confirmed in the United Church of Christ.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Ivan Dameron will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, 2600 I-70 Drive NW, Columbia, Mo. 65018.

HARING

Arthur William Haring Sr., 83, Belle, died March 23, 2000, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla.

He was born Oct. 14, 1916, in Osage County, a son of Herman W. and Lena W. Liefer Haring. He was married Dec. 24, 1951, to Gladys Ruth Schierloh, who died April 29, 1994.

A Bland High School graduate and a World War II veteran, he farmed and worked at International Shoe Factory, Bland. He was a member of Bland United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Arthur Haring Jr. and Edward Haring, both of Belle; one daughter, Brenda Smoot, St. James; one sister, Verna Haring, Lee's Summit; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Sassmann's Funeral Service, Belle. Mike Clay will officiate. Burial will be in Koenig Cemetery, Belle.

MARSHALL

Christine Arve Marshall, 47, Fortuna, died March 21, 2000, at her home.

She was born Nov. 4, 1952, in Tacoma, Wash., a daughter of Roy and Joyanne Arve Johnson Lambert. Her father survives in Tacoma. Her mother and stepfather, Joyanne Arve and William Kershul, survive in Fortuna. She was married Oct. 6, 1996, in Auburn, Wash., to Clifford E. Marshall, who survives at the home.

She was employed with Smoke Busters and Servicemaster, both in Tacoma. She belonged to the Missouri Fox Trotters Association.

Other survivors include: nine children, Steven Jason Foss, Sioux Falls, S.D., C.M. Foss, Denver, Tanya Smith, Auburn, Jordan Marsillo and Cade Marshall, both of the home, Clifford Marshall Jr., Carson City, Nev., Trinah Marshall, Sumner, Wash., Angie Ballard, Tacoma, and Kenny Marshall, Puyallup, Wash.; two brothers, Joe Lambert, Seattle, and Jim Lambert, Silverdale, Wash.; two sisters, Kathleen Klieman, Gig Harbor, Wash., and Annie Kershul, Forks, Wash.; and 12 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

ROCKELMAN

Wilbert Andrew Rockelman, 78, Lohman, died March 24, 2000, at his home.

He was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Russellville, a son of Charley and Louis Hoffman Rockelman. He was married Feb. 11, 1945, in Lohman, to Viola Jungmeyer, who survives at the home.

He attended school in Russellville and lived and farmed near Russellville for 45 years before moving to Lohman in 1990. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 513 in  Jefferson City for 35 years.

He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Russellville.

Other survivors include: two sons, Leroy Rockelman, Santa Cruz, Calif., and Jerome Rockelman, Lohman; two daughters, Judy Crocker, Russellville, and Kathi Bishop, Lohman; two brothers, August Rockelman, Russellville, and Oscar Rockelman, Lohman; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Russellville. The Rev. Nancy Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. today at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri or the American Cancer Society.

BAILEY

Almeta Bailey, 82,  Jefferson City, died March 25, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 12, 1917, in Brumley, a daughter of Nathaniel and Pearl Richardson Rodden. She was married April 12, 1934, in Miller County, to Lundy Bailey, who died Nov. 7, 1990.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Dix Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Burnett,  Jefferson City, and Mary L. Atkin, Holts Summit; one sister, Ruby Draegert, Brumley; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

One son, Carl Duane Bailey, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach. Burial will be in Robinett Cemetery, Brumley.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday.
