ADEE
William Edmond Adee, 42, Jefferson City, died May 15, 2000, at his home.
He was born Feb. 25, 1958, in Kansas City, a son of Edmond L. Sr. and Mary Ellen Verbanic Adee. His father and stepmother, Edmond L. Sr. and Marilon Adee, survive in Holden.
A graduate of Lee's Summit High School, he received a bachelor's degree from Central Missouri State University. He was employed as an industrial arts teacher at Jefferson City High School, where he also was a coach for the girls track team.
He worked for the Missouri Department of Motor Vehicles and a title company in Lee's Summit. He was a member of Callaway Community Christian Church, Fulton, and attended Capital City Christian Church. He was a member of the YMCA.
Other survivors include: one son, Corey Adee, Grandview; two sisters, Nancy Sears, state of West Virginia, and Brenda Kay Sidebottom, Kansas City; one brother, Raymond E. Adee, Paris, Ky.; and two half sisters, Marcia Anzalone, Independence, and Michelle Maxwell, Shawnee Mission, Kan.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Capital City Christian Church. The Rev. John C. Tarbet will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to Capital City Christian Church.

CHRISTIAN
Frances L. Christian, 89, Ashland, died May 18, 2000, at Ashland Healthcare.
She was born July 26, 1910, in Ashland, a daughter of John E. and Susan Burnham Smith. She was married Dec. 3, 1927, in Ashland, to Archie Christian, who died July 7, 1968.
She was employed at the Missouri Department of Revenue Income Tax Division until her retirement in 1972 as an assistant supervisor. She was a member of Ashland Baptist Church and the Ashland Senior Center.
Survivors include one son, Dale Christian, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Jim West will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to Ashland Baptist Church or Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery, Hartsburg.
DANUSER
John E. Danuser, 94, Camdenton, died May 17, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.
He was born May 1, 1906, in Barnumton, a son of Fritz and Liddy Wilson Danuser. He was married to Florene Hanks, who preceded him in death. He was married in 1936 in Eldon to Dorothy Hanks, who died Dec. 23, 1999.
A lifelong resident of the Camden County area, he farmed and was a member of Linn Creek Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: six daughters, Clara Mae Gaunitz, Kingston, N.Y., Juanita Fay Frederick, Dubuque, Iowa, Edna Elizabeth Spautz, Linn Creek, Anna Lee Burkett, Tampa, Fla., Patricia Triggs, Camdenton, and Loretta Aileen Tyre, Tulsa, Okla; four sons, Warren Dale Keeney, Linn Creek, John Thomas Danuser, Tyler, Texas , Donald Paul Danuser, Linn Creek, and George Morgan Danuser, Decaturville; one brother, Tommy Danuser, Linn Creek; one sister, Grace Cave, Minden, Ill.; 32 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Linn Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Rick Ginnings will officiate. Burial will be in Allee Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home.

GOWIN
Kersey E. "Bud" Gowin, 62, Fulton, died May 16, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center , Columbia.
He was born Feb. 27, 1938, in Fulton, a son of Frank S. and Bertha Pearl Gentry Gowin. His mother survives in Fulton. He was married July 26, 1956, to JoAnn Austin, who died Nov. 10, 1956. He was married Dec. 2, 1962, in San Francisco, to Norma Louise Lehmann, who survives at the home.
He was an Air Force veteran. He was employed as a car salesman with Lynn H. Maughs for 13 years. He also was a fuel desk clerk at Gaspers Truck Stop, a realtor with Oak Tree Realty, a licensed cosmetologist and an insurance agent.
He coached boys T-ball and Little League in Fulton and was active with Dream Factory, Fulton Athletic Boosters, Breakfast Optimists, Fulton Auxiliary Police and YMCA. He was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Keri Lyn Repper, New Bloomfield; one son, Matthew Steele Gowin, Osage Beach; two sisters, Karol Sapp, St. Louis, and Phyllis Rodecape, Fulton; and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. George Braden will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to the YMCA of Fulton or the American Cancer Society.
HAYS
Services were Wednesday for Jerry Dale Hays, 38, New Bloomfield, who died May 13, 2000, in Jefferson City.
He was born Sept. 2, 1961, in Columbia, a son of Martha Viola Holley Hays. His stepmother, Violet Nettles, survives in Wellsville. He was married Aug. 27, 1996, to Sherry Kay Washburn, who survives in Jefferson City.
A Baptist, he worked as a floorman for Riverside Janitorial Service.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Perry Nettles, Columbia, and Steve Nettles, Fulton; two sisters, Betty Sue Morgan, Columbia, and Shirley Nettles, Mexico; and eight step-siblings.
His stepfather, Lester Herbert Nettles, preceded him in death.
Services were at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair. The Rev. John Davis officiated. Burial was in United Methodist Cemetery, St. Clair.
Memorials are suggested to his widow.
RECTOR
James E. Rector Jr., 59, Camdenton, died May 17, 2000, at his home.
He was born Nov. 1, 1940, in Camdenton, a son of James E. "Red" and Dorothy Helen Webb Rector. His parents survive in Camdenton. He was married April 29, 1967, in Camdenton, to Geraldine "Gerry" Tomlinson, who survives at the home.
A lifelong resident of Camden County, he was a printer and a member of Bible Baptist Church of Camdenton.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Dorothy Newland, Linn Creek; four sons, James E. Rector III, Jacksonville, Fla., Howard Rector and Benjamin Rector, both of Camdenton, and Jason Rector, Laurie; two brothers, Larry Rector, Camdenton, and Everett Lee Rector, Macks Creek; one sister, Carolyn Seaton, Macks Creek; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Vander Berg will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, the Gideon Bible Program or Missouri River Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
BAITZEL
Services were Tuesday for Rosalie Faye Baitzel, 87, Alamogordo, N.M., formerly of Jefferson City, who died May 14, 2000, at her home.
She was born Aug. 31, 1912, in Georgetown, Ohio, a daughter of Cyrus and Altie Watson. She was married Feb. 6, 1934, to John Patrick Baitzel, who died April 21, 1995.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a charter member of Southridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Laticia West, Alamogordo, and Candous Vernon, Jefferson City; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Darlene Baitzel, in 1953; and one great-grandchild.
Private family services were held in Alamogordo. Graveside services will be Saturday in Shinkle Ridge Cemetery, Higgensport, Ohio.
Memorials are suggested to Southridge Baptist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home, Alamogordo.
BEACH
Frank G. Beach, 88, Hollis, Ark., formerly of Eldon, died May 16, 2000, in Hollis.
He was born March 20, 1912, in the state of Nebraska, a son of James and Mary Snodgrass Beach. He was married July 18, 1937, in Kansas City, Kan., to Dorothy L. Brunk, who survives in Perryville, Ark.
A bus driver in Los Angeles, he lived in Eldon for 23 years before moving to Arkansas. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Eldon.
Other survivors include: one son, Frank L. Beach, Los Alamitas, Calif.; two daughters, Leona Hull, Gardena, Calif., and Lorette Jones, Hollis; three brothers, Bruce Beach, Gerald Beach and Gilbert Beach; one sister, Mae Beach; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. James J. Hedrick will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to First Assembly of God Church.
BOHLEN
Margaret Z. "Peggy" Bohlen, 77, Versailles, died May 17, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born Oct. 11, 1922, in Decatur, Ill., a daughter of Ernest and Margaret Hummel Lorenz. She was married Jan. 4, 1946, to William H. Bohlen, who died June 21, 1981.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, Versailles.
Survivors include: one daughter, Patricia Crowe, Versailles; one son, Michael William Bohlen, Rochelle, Ga.; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. The Rev. C.D. Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
