HALL

Robert W. Hall Sr., 75, Camdenton, died May 17, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

He was born July 8, 1924, in Terre Haute, Ind., a son of Corbett and Velma Pigg Hall. He was married in April 1949, in St. Louis, to Opal Frost, who died Feb. 2, 1996. He was married March 26, 2000, in Camdenton, to Mary V. Hall, who survives at the home.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he worked for 43 years as a crane operator at Missouri Rolling Mill, St. Louis, before retiring to the Lake area in 1986. He was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church, St. Louis, and attended Camdenton United Methodist Church. He was a member of the American Legion, Camdenton, and was a former board member of Camdenton Senior Citizens Club. He was junior vice commander of VFW Post 5923.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Vandaveer, Camdenton; three sons, Robert W. Hall Jr., Camdenton, and Steven Randall Hall and Kenneth Dale Hall, both of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Willey, St. Louis; one brother, Harold Hall, St. Louis; three sisters, Shirley Jones, Jackie Swinea and Ella Schaad, all of St. Louis; and six grandchildren.

Military services will be at 6 p.m. today at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. Funeral services will follow. The Rev. Mark Magana will officiate. Burial will be in  Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Camdenton Senior Center.

HELTON

Services were today for Windorf George Helton, 80, Iberia, who died May 17, 2000, at his home.

He was born Jan. 11, 1920, in Meta, a son of Benjamin and Amanda Emory Helton. He was married Sept. 21, 1946, in Vienna, to Ruby L. French, who survives at the home.

A self-employed farmer, he retired in 1990.

Other survivors include: one son, David Helton, Dixon; five daughters, Peggy Belk, Kathy Helton and Patty Carmack, all of Iberia, Helen Olson, Prior Lake, Minn., and Linda Bock, Holts Summit; one brother, Carlos Helton, Iberia; one sister, Launa Rowden,  Jefferson City; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Monte Roark officiated. Burial was in Vienna Public Cemetery.

LAMBERT

Peter John Lambert, 89, Fulton, died May 14, 2000, at Callaway Community Hospital.

He was born Oct. 30, 1910, in Fulton, a son of John and Roberta Ramsey Lambert. He was married May 10, 1932, in Fulton, to Alma Jean Emerson, who survives at the home.

A waiter and a cook, he was studying to become a Jehovah's Witness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Mark Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Monday.

WALKER

Cora E. Walker, 79, Macks Creek, died May 18, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

She was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Poplar Bluff, a daughter of Lon and Bertha Green Derrington. She was married June 17, 1945, in Kansas City, Kan., to John W. Walker, who survives at the home.

She was an assembly line worker at the Daisy Products Company and was also a professional egg candler, both in Kansas City.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Betty Weigart, Macks Creek, Seirra Cobra 'Oday, Dallas, Texas , and Patricia Tyrell, Houston, Texas ; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Nick Stutesman will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Foster Cemetery, New Hampton.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

KESEL

Ruby May Kesel, 80, St. Elizabeth, died May 18, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Hoecker, a daughter of Albert and Elsie Barnhart Seaton. She was married Jan. 10, 1940, in Meta, to Adolph John Kesel, who died March 17, 1979.

She worked for Langenberg Hat Factory in St. Elizabeth until her retirement. She also worked in the cafeteria of St. Elizabeth School.

She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth, and its St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include: three sons, Michael Raymond Kesel, Eureka, and Robert Lewis Kesel and James Dale Kesel, both of St. Elizabeth; one daughter, Elizabeth Irene Wilbers,  Jefferson City; two brothers, Howard Seaton, Dixon, and Tommy Seaton, Greers Ferry, Ark.; one sister, Evelyn Strope, Meta; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The Rev. John Degnan will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Rekus Funeral Home, St. Elizabeth, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Health Care Center Activities Fund.

SCHOENEMAN

Daniel David "Doc" Schoeneman, 50, Eldon, died May 16, 2000, at his home.

He was born July 16, 1949, in Chicago, a son of Joseph D. and Eve Schoeneman.

He was a construction worker for the City of Lake Ozark.

Survivors include: one son, Aaron Schoeneman, Watsonville, Calif.; and one stepsister, Sydell Savin, Deerfield, Ill.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Jay Quinn will officiate.

VANDERBURG

Doris R. Vanderburg, 79, Excelsior Springs, died May 21, 2000, at her home.

She was born May 30, 1920, in Cottonwood Falls, Kan., a daughter of John and Grace Brooks Brecht. She was married to Lawrence "Lefty" Vanderburg, who survives at the home.

She worked at Whitaker Cable, Excelsior Springs, until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Excelsior Springs; Excelsior Chapter 168, Order of the Eastern Star, where she was past matron; and Missouri City Chapter 544, Order of the Eastern Star.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Margaret Saunier,  Jefferson City; one brother, John Brecht, Clinton; two sisters, Jean Williams, Clinton, and Louise Lenke, Fort Smith, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Excelsior Springs. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.

Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church Building Fund, Excelsior Springs.

Arrangements are under the direction of Prichard Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.

POLLICK

Joseph P. Pollick, 84,  Jefferson City, died May 21, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 30, 1915, in Bakersfield, Pa., a son of Martin and Elizabeth Masnica Pollick. He was married Dec. 27, 1996, in  Jefferson City, to Patsy R. Zeugin, who survives at the home.

A resident of the  Jefferson City area for the past 20 years, he was employed as a boilermaker in the construction industry until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Boilermaker-Blacksmith National Union.

Other survivors include: three stepsons, Doug D. Zeugin, Ashland, Darrell W. Zeugin, Smithville, and Daniel I. Zeugin, Fort Myers, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Debbie White , California; two sisters, Betty Zunski, Hazleton, Pa., and Mary Butterfield, Rochester, N.Y.; and five step grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

NORMAN

Services were today for Margaret M. Norman, 94, Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly of  Jefferson City, who died May 14, 2000, at Huntington Beach Hospital.

She was born Dec. 26, 1905, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Ernest and Minnie Hampton Overstreet. She was married in October 1924 to Dow J. Norman, who died in 1960.

A 1924 graduate of  Jefferson City High School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include: one son, Dan P. Norman, Huntington Beach; one daughter, Bonnie M. Struss, Amherst, N.H.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

One son, Thomas Norman, died July 28, 1996.

Services were held at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Doyle E. Sager officiated.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

COMSTOCK

Services were today for Charles E. Comstock, 50, Versailles, who died May 21, 2000, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1949, in Versailles, a son of Keith and Margaret Comstock. He was married July 8, 1972, in Versailles, to Renita L. Stafford, who survives.

He attended school in Stover. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the Army National Guard for 23 years. He was employed by California Manufacturing Plant, California.

He attended First Baptist Church in Versailles and Stover, and was a member of the VFW in Stover.

Other survivors include: two sons, Mickel Comstock, Springfield, and Lester Comstock, Versailles; one daughter, Tina Stafford, Versailles; one brother, John Comstock, Georgetown, Tenn.; three sisters, Sue Riley, Mayfield, Ky., Kathy Johnson, St. Joseph, and Denise Bowers, Versailles; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman officiated. Burial, with military honors, was in Versailles Cemetery.
