MADDOX

Leo L. Maddox, 83, Mokane, died June 7, 2000, at Riverview Nursing Home, Mokane.

He was born Dec. 20, 1916, in Mokane, a son of Oscar and Ella Derleth Maddox. He was married March 2, 1935, in  Jefferson City, to Katherine Diehl, who survives at the home.

A member of Hams Prairie Christian Church, he worked at Harbison Walker for 22 years before retiring in 1979.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Edith Amelia Martin, Mustang, Okla.; one son, Oscar Lee Maddox, Steedman; four sisters, Della Adams, Fulton, Helen Dolman, Mokane, Eva Maddox, New Bloomfield, and Margie Harris, Kansas City; one brother, Ben Maddox, Fulton; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Donald Maddox and Delbert Maddox, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Lewis Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in Steedman Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

TANKERSLEY

Dylan Jeffrey Tankersley, 1, Overland Park, Kan., died June 7, 2000, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Lawrence, Kan.

He was born Dec. 2, 1998, in Overland Park, a son of Jeffrey and Lynne Marie LaForge Tankersley. His father survives at the home. His mother also died June 7 from injuries sustained in the same accident.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Overland Park.

Other survivors include: one sister, Rachel Marie Tankersley, of the home; maternal grandparents, Jack and Judy LaForge, Pittsburg, Kan.; paternal grandparents, Doyle and Diana Tankersley,  Jefferson City; maternal great-grandparents, Jay and Doris Rae Farrell, Parsons, Kan.; and paternal great-grandmother, Mary Thomas, Chaffie.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pittsburg. The Rev. Thomas Stroot will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg.

Memorials are suggested to the Rachel Marie Tankersley Educational Scholarship Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg.

CLARK

Franklin "Frank" D. Clark, 67, Brumley, died June 9, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

He was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Greenville, a son of Lee and Ollie Bullinger Clark. He was married Nov. 1, 1969, in St. Louis County, to Anita Mudge, who survives at the home.

An Army veteran, he owned and operated Phase 5 Barber Shop, Osage Beach. He was a member of Mount Union Church of Christ in Brumley, the American Legion in  Jefferson City, and the Dam Car Club in Osage Beach.

Other survivors include: one son, Kevin Clark, St. Charles; four daughters, Pat McCoy, Dittmer, Paula Duncan, Lake Ozark, Lynn Campbell, Cape Girardeau, and Gwynn Hayden, St. Charles; two sisters, Retha Ward, Poplar Bluff, and Shelby Gann, De Soto; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach. The Rev. Mike Duncan and the Rev. Roy Westbrook will officiate. Entombment will be in Praying Hands Mausoleum, Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osage Beach.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

TATE

Noel Renee Tate, 43,  Jefferson City, died June 1, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 18, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of William and Donna Jean Bailey Tate.

She worked as a waitress at the Ramada Inn and as a sales clerk with Dillards.

Survivors include: two sons, Dominick Ciolli, Tebbetts, and Colin Ciolli, Apache Flats; and one sister Denine Tate-Bryan, Kettering, Ohio.

Private family services will be at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.

JONES

Skyler K. Jones, infant daughter of Clemet and Shannon Arnold Jones, Camdenton, died June 9, 2000, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield.

She was born Sept. 25, 1999, in Springfield.

Other survivors include: one brother, Casey Lee Jones, of the home; paternal grandparents, Robert and Wanda Jones, Roach; maternal grandparents, Janice and Dennis McDowell, and Eddie and Yvonne Arnold, all of Camdenton; paternal great-grandfather, Thurl Blair, Roach; maternal great-grandparents, David and Peggy Arnold, Lebannon, Bonnie Selby, Carl and Faith White , Delmar and Flo McDowell, all of Camdenton; maternal great-great-grandmothers, Joyce Burns, Decaturville, and Frances Avery, Camdenton.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Big Niangua Cemetery, Roach. The Rev. J.D. Parks will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home.

HAAKE

Catherine Ann Haake, 76,  Jefferson City, died June 8, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 28, 1924, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of G. Herman and Anna Opel Robben. She was married April 22, 1947, in  Jefferson City, to Lawrence A. Haake, who died Sept. 28, 1981.

A graduate of St. Peters High School, she worked as a legal secretary for Gov. James T. Blair and for the Cole County Collector. She was a member of the St. Joseph Women's Association, St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary, Central Trust Classic Travel Club and Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Anne Haake,  Jefferson City, and Janet L. Rollins, Russellville; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Cathedral. The Rev. Dan Merz will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary or Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri.

ONGER

Mary Jane Onger, 83,  Jefferson City, died June 9, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Jan. 20, 1917, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Robert I. and Ina Davis Green. She was married May 5, 1945, in  Jefferson City, to Jack L. Onger, who died Oct. 16, 1994.

She worked for Tweedie Shoe Factory and McGraw-Edison in  Jefferson City. She was a past member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Survivors include: one daughter, Belinda Schaefer,  Jefferson City; two sisters, Becky Frank, St. Louis, and Letha Wright, Holts Summit; and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

CALDWELL

Harry W. Caldwell, 76, Camdenton, died June 8, 2000, at Christian Health Care, Hermitage.

He was born Feb. 28, 1924, in Portland, Maine, a son of Harry and Edna Gross Caldwell. He was married July 16, 1963, in Chicago, to Elsie Crum, who survives at the home.

A member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Camdenton Lodge, he worked as a pasteurizer with Instant Whip Chicago Inc.

Other survivors include: one son, Harry W. Caldwell Jr., Addison, Ill.; one daughter, Katherine Lipsky, Addison; five stepchildren; one sister, Mary Giakas, state of Virginia; one brother, Edward Caldwell, Portland; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Timothy Coppinger will officiate. Burial will be in Laughlin Cemetery, Camdenton.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today.

CROSS

Imo Cross, 92, Iberia, died June 9, 2000, at Christian Healthcare Lebanon North.

She was born Sept. 26, 1907, in Hawkeye, a daughter of Othello and Elsie Kinder Miles. She was married Sept. 3, 1927, in Warrensburg, to Layard Cross, who died May 3, 1968.

She worked as a teacher in one-room schools and for the Dixon Public Schools. She was a member of Brays Advent Christian Church, Iberia.

Survivors include one sister, Zedna Linke, Jacksonville, Fla.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Earl Skidds will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Iberia.

Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to Brays Advent Christian Church.

DICK

Franklin L. "Frank" Dick, 55, California, Mo., died June 9, 2000, at California Care Center.

He was born May 25, 1945, in California, a son of Elza K. and Marie F. Sanders Dick.

He attended North East Senior High School in Kansas City. He worked at Cargill Inc., in the rendering department for 26 years, where he had been Employee of the Month.

He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4027, both of California.

Survivors include: two sisters, Doris D. Robertson, California, and Frances A. Connell,  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. Visitation will be from 6:30-7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, c/o Judy Allee, P.O. Box 333, Latham, Mo. 65050, or the California Care Center Resident Fund, 1106 W. Oak St., California, Mo. 65018.
