MONEYMAKER

Glennis "Glen" Moneymaker, 53, Iberia, died June 16, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

She was born May 5, 1947, in Edwardsville, Kan., a daughter of William and Gladys Sons Pritchett. She was married Nov. 3, 1990, in Iberia, to Bobby Gene Moneymaker, who died Feb. 6, 1996.

A member of Honey Springs Baptist Church near Brumley, she attended Curry Church near Iberia.

Survivors include: three brothers, W.E. "Gene" Pritchett, Kenneth Pritchett and Jesse Pritchett, all of Iberia; four sisters, Helen Nichols and Sarah Duncan, both of Iberia, and Judy Robinett and Rose Robinett, both of Brumley; two stepsons, Thomas Brauer and Donald Brauer; one stepdaughter, Jodie Luttrell, Brumley; and stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Elton Dake will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Union Cemetery, near Brumley.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday.

KENWORTHY

Richard L. "Doc" Kenworthy, 61, Rocky Mount, died June 15, 2000, in  Jefferson City.

He was born Dec. 10, 1938, in Bunceton, a son of Hayden and Helen Louise Fahrenbrink Kenworthy. His mother survives in Bunceton. He was married May 13, 1972, in Kansas City, to Judy K. Orchard, who survives at the home.

A Navy veteran, he worked for Kansas City Power and Light Company and was owner and operator of North Shore Shopping Center and Ed Sanning Real Estate.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Dana Budke, Lenexa, Kan.; two sons, Shannon Kenworthy, Lohman, and Douglas Kenworthy, Kansas City; three sisters, Audrey Harned, Bunceton, Karen Elgin and Sandra Hoover, both of Kansas City; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, Bunceton.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.

HACKMANN

Dorothy M. Hackmann, 79, Kansas City, formerly of  Jefferson City, died June 16, 2000, at St. Lukes Hospital, Kansas City.

She was born Aug. 10, 1920, in Kansas City, a daughter of Joseph F. and Laura I. Everson Odam. She was married Aug. 16, 1939, in  Jefferson City, to Leroy S. Hackmann, who died Nov. 3, 1998.

A 1938 graduate of  Jefferson City High School, she was a secretary for Farmland Industries and the Heart of America Girl Scout Council. She also worked for the State of Missouri Selective Service.

She was a member of Central United Church of Christ and the Eleanor Circle and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the March of Dimes.

Survivors include: one son, Jim Hackmann, Cincinnati; one daughter, Lora Kokjer, Prairie Village, Kan.; one brother, Charles Odam, Prairie Village; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen H. Buchholz will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to to the American Red Cross, Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri or the March of Dimes.

SOUSLEY

Sherman H. Sousley, 65, Camdenton, died June 17, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

He was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Camden County, a son of Claude E. and Delphia Lou Rogers Sousley.

A member of Camdenton First Assembly of God Church, he was a truck driver.

Survivors include: one son, Terry Sousley, Camdenton; and one sister, Dorothy Webster, Camdenton.

One son, Tim Sousley, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Clifford Canon will officiate. Burial will be in Dale Blair Cemetery, Camdenton.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to Camdenton First Assembly of God Church.

WATTS

Charlie Watts, 55,  Jefferson City, died June 16, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Earsel and Leona Castle Watts.

He attended public schools in Huntington. An long-time auto body worker, he was employed by BGM Maintenance the past three years.

Survivors include: one daughter, Barbara Eslick, Enid, Okla.; three brothers, Paul Watts, Russell Watts and Rick Adkins; four sisters, Betty McKinley, Diane Lambert, Mary Watts and Wanda Watts; and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Charlie Watts Memorial Fund.

HEAFEY

Anna Pauline Heafey, 79, Barnett, died June 17, 2000, in  Jefferson City.

She was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Windsor, a daughter of James E. and Anna Agnew Shepherd. She was married Dec. 27, 1948, to Leonard F. Heafey, who survives in Barnett.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eldon, and Eldon VFW Post 2442 Women's Auxiliary.

Other survivors include: two sons, Danny Abbott, Barnett, and William Abbott, Eldon; one daughter, Catherine Herndon, Bauxite, Ark.; two sisters, Margaret Crane, St. Charles, and Barbara Reavis, Kingwood, Texas ; three brothers, James Earl Shepherd, Eldon, Logan Shepherd, Springfield, and Dan Shepherd, Marthasville; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

One son, James Abbott, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Eddie Doyle will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

KROLL

Diane Michelle Kroll, 33, St. Thomas, died June 14, 2000, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Cole County.

She was born Feb. 15, 1967, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Paul and Christine Angenendt Cort-vrient. Her parents survive in Taos. She was married Nov. 26, 1988, in Taos, to Stanley Kroll, who survives at the home.

A 1985 graduate of Helias High School, she received a bachelor's degree in housing design in 1990 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She worked as a secretary for St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School, owned and operated a home design company and was a seamstress who designed and sewed handmade clothing.

She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, where she coordinated the Sunday school, sang in the choir and served on the Long Range Building Committee. A member of St. Ann's Sodality, she volunteered for numerous school activities and supervised the Script Program.

Other survivors include: two sons, Thomas Kroll and Nathan Kroll, of the home; one daughter, Elizabeth Kroll, of the home; one brother, Alan Cortvrient, Meta; one sister, Barbara Cortvrient,  Jefferson City; and her maternal grandmother, Nell Angenendt,  Jefferson City.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The Rev. Don Antweiler will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus Hall, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home,  Jefferson City.

HERRING

Paul K. Herring, 79, Fulton, died June 17, 2000, at Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was born May 25, 1921, a son of L. Roy and Rachel Mary Davenport Herring. He was married to Margaret O'Neal, who survives.

He served in the National Guard and the Navy until 1945. He then established Herring Foundation Forms and Excavation Co. and was a volunteer fireman for the city of Fulton from 1945 to 1987.

He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, where he was instrumental in rebuilding the present building.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Katie Stafford and Sue Ellen Herring, both of Springfield, and Wanda Patterson, North Fort Myers, Fla.; one brother, Walter "Chic" Herring, Fulton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Carolyn Raye Portell, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Bob Guese and the Rev. Raymond McCallister will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation, Habitat for Humanity or to Otterbein United Methodist Church.

LAFFOON

Donna G. Laffoon, 44, Linn, died June 17, 2000, at her home.

She was born June 13, 1956, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of James and Reta Baumgartner Laffoon. Her mother and stepfather, Glynn and Reta Dennis, survive in Linn. Her father and stepmother, James and Therese Laffoon, survive in Farmington.

She received a nursing degree from Lincoln University in 1981, and a baccalaureate degree in liberal studies in 1996. She was certified in critical care and advanced cardiac life support.

She worked as a nurse in oncology and intensive care units in hospitals in the state of California, Lake Ozark, Columbia and  Jefferson City. She was past president of the nursing education council at St. Marys Health Center and the Osage County chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Other survivors include: one son, Mark Laffoon; two brothers, Steven Laffoon, Linn, and Sam Laffoon, St. Louis; one stepsister, Heather Lamm, Linn; and one grandson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. George Church, Linn. Burial will be in Pointer's Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Pointer's Creek Cemetery Association.
