WALTON
Olive Elizabeth Walton, 85, Camdenton, died June 27, 2000, at Windsor Estates Convalescent Center, Camdenton.
She was born March 6, 1915, in Tuscumbia, a daughter of William and Ethel Moles Hauenstein. She was married in February 1939 in Kansas City to William B. Walton, who died in 1976.
She worked for Montgomery Ward in Kansas City for more than 36 years. She moved to the Lake area six years ago.
Survivors include: one son, William Walton, Sunrise Beach; one brother, Russell Hauenstein, Mission, Texas ; three sisters, Lucille Harbison, Kansas City, Kan., Billie Sue Gilmore, Cahokia, Ill., and Phyllis Hall, Mission, Texas ; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Jerry O'Dell will officiate. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Kansas City.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to Heartland Worship Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
DARNOLD
Ronnie E. Darnold, 37, Centreville, Va., formerly of Jefferson City, died June 26, 2000, at Fair Oak Hospital, Fairfax, Va.
He was born April 24, 1963, in Brookfield, a son of Ivan L. and Carol Y. Gillespie Darnold. His father and stepmother, Ivan and Jan Darnold, survive in Jefferson City. His mother survives in Jefferson City. He was married Oct. 7, 1995, in Fairfax, to Linda Botz, who survives at the home.
A resident of the Jefferson City area until 1990, he was a 1982 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
He was employed as assistant manager with Giant Food Store, Fairfax.
Other survivors include: one son, Josh Eichholz, Hartsburg; one sister, Amy Kempker, Taos; one brother, Jeffrey Darnold, Kansas City; and four stepsisters, Linda Volvo, St. Louis, Brenda Imhoff, Jamestown, and Cindy Gillam and Missy Dearixon, both of Jefferson City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Gary Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday.

MOELLMAN
Walter C. Moellman, 95, Stover, died June 28, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born Aug. 27, 1904, in Cole Camp, a son of John H. and Caroline Gerken Moellman. He was married May 5, 1927, in Stover, to Louise Maria Stucker, who died March 23, 1972.
He was a self-employed farmer in the Versailles area until 1967 when he retired and moved to Stover.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, near Stover, where he served on the church council until it disbanded. He then became a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Stover.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, Stover. The Rev. Duane Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Christ Lutheran Church, Stover, or a charity of the donor's choice.
BARNETT
Ella Mae Barnett, 81, Latham, died June 29, 2000, at Moniteau Care Center, California.
She was born Sept. 30, 1918, in Latham, a daughter of Elmer and Cora Mae Hofstetter Bayne. She was married Aug. 15, 1937, in Latham, to James E. "Buzz" Barnett, who died Nov. 2, 1972.
A 1937 graduate of Latham High School, she was a homemaker and an Avon representative.
She was a member of Latham Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school and was secretary of the C.W.F.
Survivors include: one daughter, Norma Blankenship, Latham; one brother, Noel Bayne, Jefferson City; four sisters, Matilda "Tillie" Jeffries, Osage Beach, Helen Schlup, St. Charles, Mattie Lachner, Grand Junction, Colo., and Lula Rohrbach, Latham; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One infant daughter, Evelyn Mae Barnett, died May 8, 1946.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Latham Christian Church. The Rev. Jim Randall will officiate. Burial will be in Latham Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.

VOLTMER
Services were today for Duane Eugene "Duke" Voltmer, 63, Fayetteville, Ark., who died June 26, 2000, at Washington Regional Memorial Hospital, Fayetteville.
He was born Dec. 21, 1936, near Rock Port, a son of Roy and Wilma Greer Voltmer. He was married in December 1957, in Rock Port, to Dorothy Shaw.
A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he earned a bachelor's degree in education, a master's degree in educational administration and his educational specialist degree all from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He worked as a teacher, coach and administrator in Columbia, Tarkio and North Callaway R-1 and South Callaway R-2 school districts. He was a state federal compliance monitor for juveniles through the Missouri Department of Public Safety, a gang education consultant for the U.S. Department of Justice, executive director of the Chanute Transition Center, Rantoul, Ill., warden of the Jena Juvenile Justice Center, Jena, La., and executive director of Piney Ridge Juvenile Center, Fayetteville, Ark.
He also was a recommending scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Pilots and Atlanta Braves. He attended the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Charles Voltmer, Columbia; two daughters, Stephanie Voltmer-Wolfe, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Leigh Voltmer, Columbia; two sisters, Rosalie Woodring, Tarkio, and Joan Bungenstock, Fairfax; three half sisters, Rita Vance, Hopkins, Joyce Brown, Midwest City, Okla., and Arnell Lansdown, Rock Port; and four grandchildren.
His stepfather, Arnold Gast, preceded him in death.
Services were at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio. The Rev. Ralph L. Clark officiated. Burial, with military honors, was in Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port.

KNOWLES
Services were today for Carol Lorraine Knowles, 72, Fulton, who died June 28, 2000, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.
She was born May 30, 1928, in Fulton, a daughter of Frank E. and Mae Atterberry Mahoney. She was married April 29, 1976, at Lake of the Ozarks, to Charles Knowles, who survives at the home.
A dispatcher for EOC of Callaway County, she retired in 1993. She was a member of First Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star, Civil Rights Commission for Fulton, Callaway Community Hospital Auxiliary and president of the adult Sunday school class at First Christian Church
Services and Eastern Star rites were at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Raymond Dunlap officiated. Entombment was in Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or Order of the Eastern Star.
SHAW
Kenneth Elroy Shaw, 80, Eldon, died June 29, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Miller County, a son of James E. and Rella Taylor Shaw.
He was a graduate of Olean High School and an Army veteran of World War II. He operated several farms in the Olean area. He was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church; a charter member of the Olean Buffalo Club; and a former member of the Jefferson City American Legion.
Survivors include one niece, Linda Christner, Olean.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Jim Kruse will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will be in Enloe Cemetery near Russellville.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, or to Al-A-Teen.
COOTS
Travis Scott Coots, 17, Linn, died June 28, 2000, near Linn as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
He was born Nov. 8, 1982, in Columbia, a son of Roy A. and Sharon Coots. His mother and stepfather, Sha-ron and Terry Nilges, survive at the home.
A junior at Linn R-2 High School, he was a member of T.R.E.N.D. and S.A.D.D. He was a drama club representative to the student council. He worked at McDonald's, Linn.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Nathan Alan Coots, Fort Richardson, Alaska, and Wesley Randall Coots, of the home; two stepsisters, Tonya Nilges, Union, and Jessica Nilges, Holts Summit; maternal grandparents, John and Georgia Berhorst, Linn; paternal grandparents, Doyle and Nadine Coots, Centertown; and paternal great-grandparents, Lucille Stieferman and Opal Baker, both of Centertown.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Linn. The Rev. Dave Krueger and Don King will officiate. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
BEDWELL
Eula Mae Bedwell, 70, Eldon, died June 28, 2000, in Jefferson City.
She was born May 15, 1930, in Miller County, a daughter of O.B. and Nora Selix Bond. She was married July 28, 1950, in Lake Ozark, to Ray "Buzz" Bedwell Jr., who died Aug. 31, 1988.
A graduate of Eldon High School, she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. as a clerk until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Eldon.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald Bedwell, Eldon, and Robert Bedwell, Jefferson City; one daughter, Nancy Bedwell, Jefferson City; three sisters, Lorene Farris, Helen Wright and Pauline Currence, all of Eldon; and five grandchildren.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

HAPGOOD
Thomas P. Hapgood, 40, Holts Summit, died June 23, 2000, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident near Perryville.
