BARKER

Mary Elizabeth Barker, 53, Otterville, died June 29, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.

He was born July 12, 1946, in Stover, a daughter of James F. and Maggie Cox Drury. She was married Feb. 22, 1980, to Arlie Barker, who died June 22, 1996.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: three brothers, Jimmy Drury, Stover, Floyd Drury, Clinton, and Charles Drury, Bosworth; three sisters, Maggie Simmons, Stover, Alta May Kampbe, Cleveland, and Linda Hayes,  Jefferson City.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Stover Cemetery. The Rev. Leslie Howard will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

BERTELLI

Toni Yvonne Bertelli, 59, Versailles, died June 29, 2000, at her home.

She was born Sept. 1, 1940, in Decatur, Ill., a daughter of Tony and Gladys Richard Elder. She was married Nov. 3, 1984, to Robert Bertelli, who survives at the home.

A homemaker, she served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion in Gretna, La.

Other survivors include: one son, Richard Meloch; two daughter, Jeri Burris, Eldon, and Mary Lindgard, Versailles; one stepson, Todd Bertelli, Gravois Mills; two stepdaughters, Monica Pope, Kansas City, and Bobbi Michaels, West Branch, Iowa; three sisters, Ruth Nelson, Versailles, and Delores Byers and Joanne Calton, both of Eldon; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Burial with military honors will be in the Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

GRAVER

Roy O. Graver, 77, Fulton, died June 30, 2000, at his home.

He was born June 6, 1923, in Oregon City, Ore., a son of Edwin F. and Estella Mae Carrothers Graver. He was married June 15, 1996, to Betty Hoover, who survives at the home.

He was a machinist with the Fairbanks Machine Shop in Raytown and served in the Army during World War II. He also served in the Merchant Marines and was an active member of AA.

Other survivors include: Pam Peters, Estacada, Ore., and Patricia Nelson, Rapid City, S.D.; one son, Russell Graver, Portland, Ore.; one stepdaughter, Linda Case, Fulton; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.

One son, Michael Graver, and two stepsons, Eddie Hoover and Steve Hoover, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Ray Shea and the Rev. Michael Crowson will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials are suggested to the Missouri River Hospice or the Missouri Cancer Association.

LEHMANN

Katherine B. Lehmann, 95, Eldon, died June 29, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

She was born Sept. 30, 1904, in Chicago, a daughter of Harry G. and Millai VonPheiffer Moore. She was married July 28, 1928, in Aurora, Ill., to Leonard Lehmann, who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: one son, Richard Lehmann, Lake Ozark; one half-sister, Muriel Taylor, Excelsior Springs; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be at a later date in Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, Ill.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.

LOWES

Joy Lynn Lowes, 40, Versailles, died June 29, 2000, near Gravois Mills.

She was born Jan. 2, 1960, in Versailles, a daughter of Wendell and Anna Marie Laurie Brill. She was married to Clinton Lowes, who survives at the home.

She was employed at Dahl's Mini Mart, Gravois Mills, and was a member of Opened Door Christian Fellowship, Laurie.

Other survivors include: one son, Jesse Lowes, of the home; one daughter, Tasa Branch, Camdenton; maternal grandmother, Eula Laurie, Laurie; paternal grandmother, Nettie Miller, Gravois Mills; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie. The Rev. Jerry Piker will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Chapel Cemetery, Laurie.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials are suggested to the Joy Lynn Lowes Memorial Fund.

OLSON

Dorothy Jean Olson, 74, Tipton, died June 29, 2000, at her home.

She was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Kansas City, Kan., a daughter of Volney V. Sr. and Pearl Matthews Gage. She was married June 30, 1951, in Austin, Texas , to Carl Ed Olson, who survives at the home.

She moved to Tipton from Austin in 1951.

Other survivors include one brother, Vernon Gage, Tipton.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. J.D. Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.

VENARD

Bill Venard, 72, Gravois Mills, died June 29, 2000, at his home.

He was born Nov. 22, 1927, in Kansas City, a son of William and Cecile Kirkpatrick Venard. He was married Sept. 24, 1954, to Joanna J. "Honey" Myers, who survives at the home.

He was a plant manager for Deluxe Check Printers and was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705, Laurie.

Other survivors include: two sons, Craig Venard and Spencer Venard, both of St. Louis; one daughter, Lisa Pozzo, St. Louis; two sister, Joyce Covell, Kansas City, Kan., and Helen Kobe, Lenexa, Kan.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley will officiate. The body was cremated.

Memorials are suggested to the Society for Progressive Supranuclear Palsey, Woodholme Medical Building, Suite 515, 1838 Greentree Road, Baltimore, Md. 21208.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.

WILSON

William E. "Billie" Wilson, 68, Cole Camp, died June 29, 2000, near Stover.

He was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Wilberton, Okla., a son of Harvey A. and Mary Gertrude Hargis Wilson. He was married to Bonnie M. Wilson, who survives at the home.

An Army Airborne veteran of the Korean War, he was baptized in the Church of Christ and was a tree pruner.

Survivors include: one son, Barry Wilson, state of  Oklahoma; one daughter, Tina Barkaus, Fresno, Calif.; three stepsons; two stepdaughters; one sister, Cordellia Curnett, Reedley, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ, near Versailles. Bro. Lloyd Camp will officiate. He was cremated.

Memorials are suggested to the William E. Wilson Memorial Fund, c/o the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

BAQUET

Ethel Baquet, 92, Versailles, died June 30, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 2, 1907, in Morgan County, a daughter of William O. and Rosa Lee Fletcher Polly. She was married Dec. 22, 1928, to Glenn A. Baquet, who died Dec. 9, 1976.

A member of First Baptist Church, Versailles, she was a rural schoolteacher.

Survivors include: one son, Glen Loren Baquet, Russellville; one daughter, Martha Snyder, High Point; one brother, Paul Polly, Columbia; one sister, Bessie Stearns, Fayette; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

One great-grandchild preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

HAPGOOD

Thomas P. Hapgood, 40, Holts Summit, died June 23, 2000, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident near Perryville.

He was born Dec. 26, 1959, in Perryville, a son of Preston and Mary He-bruck Hapgood. He was married Nov. 11, 1987, in Nuremberg, Germany, to Gisela U. Meyer, who survives at the home.

He worked with the Department of Public Safety as a security officer for the Ike Skelton Training Site. He also was a Missouri National Guardsman since September 1995.

He was an Army veteran, serving from 1980 to 1992, and a member of the American Legion.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Whitney Anne Hapgood and Shannon Marie Hapgood, both of the home; three brothers, Mike Hapgood, Alton, Ill., and Bill Hapgood and John Hapgood, both of Perryville; five sisters, Mary Blackard and Lillian Hughes, Alton, Agnes Roberts and Peggy Lefler, Perryville, and Sue Vest, Helper, Utah.

Military services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Holts Summit. The Rev. Don Deeken will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

HONEYCUTT

James L. Honeycutt, 45,  Jefferson City, died June 30, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born May 23, 1955, in Kansas City, a son of Harold and Geneva Davis Honeycutt. His father and stepmother, Harold and Norma Honeycutt, survive in Purdy. His mother, Geneva Wiley, survives in Sallisaw, Okla. He was married July 19, 1980, in  Jefferson City, to Theresa Todd, who survives at the home.

A resident of the  Jefferson City area since 1987, he attended school in Kansas City. He was a foreman with the Shryack-Hirst Grocery Co. since 1993.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Carissa Honeycutt, of the home; three sisters, Trenna Walker, Kansas City, Dana Honeycutt, Cassville, and Karen Mouser, Denver; and two brothers, Lonnie Honeycutt, Glentpo, Okla., and John Honeycutt, Sallisaw.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Mikel Burton will officiate. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Carissa Honeycutt Educational Fund.

KLOS

Delores "Dee" John Klos, 61,  Jefferson City, died July 1, 2000, at tarnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.

She was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Fayette, a daughter of D.G. "Andy" and Marie Grimes Anderson. She was married Feb. 28, 1988, in Long Boat Key, Fla., to John F. Klos, who survives at the home.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, she graduated from Fayette High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education, a master's degree in counseling and personnel services, and a doctorate in educational psychology, all from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

She served as an eMINTS instructional leader for the MOREnet in Columbia since October 1999. She also served as the associate dean of continuing education and outreach at the University of Missouri-St. Louis since July 1997. Her professional experience included teaching and directing special education and counseling programs at the local school and district levels.

She served as the director of special education in the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education; executive director of the National Information Center for Children and Youths with Disabilities; and director of the Missouri Head Injury Association prior to her employment with the Department of Behavioral Studies at the University of Missouri in 1990.

Other survivors include: one son, Mike John,  Jefferson City; one daughter, Teri John, Tabernacle, N.J.; two stepsons, Jay Klos, Florence, Ala., and Read Clos, Huntsville, Ala.; one stepdaughter, Nancy Lang, Topeka, Kan.; one sister, Karen Wilms, Columbia; two brothers, Ken Anderson, Schererville, Ind., and Curt Anderson, Lake Ozark; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. Leonard Hall will officiate. Private graveside services will be in Fayette City Cemetery, Fayette.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to cancer research.
