GOLLIHUGH

Charlotte Gollihugh, 48,  Jefferson City, died March 31, 1999, at Capitol Region Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Munich, Germany, a daughter of Jessie and Anni Wieser Gollihugh. Her father survives in Eldon.

She was a homemaker and volunteer at Eldon Health Care Center.

Other survivors include: one sister, Betty Vaughn, Columbia, and one brother, John Gollihugh, Eldon.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Wallace Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.

Visitation will be from 10-10:30 a.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

JOHNSON

Eugene Leroy Johnson, 71, Elmer, died March 31, 1999, at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville.

He was born April 4, 1927, in Elmer, a son of Ralph E. and Nellie Turner Johnson. He was married June 6, 1950, in Macon, to Maxine Biswell, who survives at the home.

He was a graduate of Elmer High School and Northeast Missouri State Teacher's College, Kirksville, where he received an education degree.

He taught school in Clarence for two years and was employed as a utility engineer for the Missouri State Highway and Transportation Department for 35 years.

He was a Navy veteran and was a member of Elmer Christian Church.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Cindy Koonce, Elmer; three sons, Rick Johnson,  Jefferson City, and Steve Johnson and Jason Johnson, both of Holts Summit; one half sister, Mary Fiala, Marceline; sisters; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Elmer Cemetery. Chuck McBee will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Elliott Funeral Home, Atlanta, Mo.

LINK

Aldridge Clark Link, 84,  Jefferson City, died April 1, 1999, at Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia.

He was born Aug. 15, 1914, in Wainwright, a son of Walter C. Sr. and Gertrude Sarah McGary Link. He was married Dec. 28, 1941, in  Jefferson City, to Cora Evelyn Sundermeyer, who survives at the home.

He attended school in Wainwright and was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked in the sign shop of the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department from 1946 to 1976.

He was a member of Central United Church of Christ and Masonic Lodge 565 A.F. & A.M., Tebbetts.

Other survivors include: one son, Stanley Clark Link, Mexico; two daughters, Janet Evelyn Weider, Vienna, and Karen Ann Thompson,  Jefferson City; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen H. Buchholz will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to Central United Church of Christ or to the Missouri Veterans Home, Mexico.

O'NEAL

Ronald E. "Ronnie" O'Neal, 54, Fulton, died April 1, 1999, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.

He was born June 18, 1944, in  Jefferson City, a son of Sam and Sara Beard O'Neal. He was married in 1992 to Beth Simmons, who survives at the home.

He worked at Fulton State Hospital for 32 years as a supervisor in the Biggs Unit. He also worked part-time at the Missouri School for the Deaf for 25 years. He was a member of the NRA.

Other survivors include one brother, Sam O'Neal, Fulton.

Graveside services will at 2 p.m. Monday in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton. The Rev. Rick Ballard will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.

TOEBBEN

Kimberly Sue Toebben, 10, Centertown, died March 30, 1999, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.

She was born July 28, 1988, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of David J. and Donna Jean Rustemeyer Toebben. Her parents survive at the home.

She was a fifth grade honor student at California R-1 School, where she was a member of the Science Club. She currently was serving as the 1999 poster girl and goodwill ambassador for the Columbia district of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, St. Martins, where she was active in religious classes.

Other survivors include: one sister, Keri Ann Toebben, of the home; maternal grandparents, Herbert and Rita Rustemeyer, Centertown; and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Florence Toebben, Vienna.

Services will be at noon Monday at St. Martin Catholic Church. The Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Martin Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a wake service at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials are suggested to California R-1 School for students with special needs, or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

CLARK

Mary Lea Clark, 68, Eldon, died April 1, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born July 9, 1930, in Miller County, a daughter of Willard G. and Alma Sophia Atkinson Clark.

A lifetime resident of Miller County, she worked for several years at Campbell's Lake House, Lake Ozark.

Survivors include: two brothers, Paul Clark, Otterville, and Virgil Clark, Thayer; four sisters, Lois Cotten, Olean, Dorothy Dowdy, Mammoth Spring, Ark., Jewel Winters, Henley, and Velma Bailey, Dixon; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

One son, Garland Clark, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Gerald Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested in care of the family.

DAWSON

Anna May Dawson, 93, Russellville, died March 31, 1999, in  Jefferson City.

She was born March 15, 1906, near Eugene, a daughter of Sam and Minnie Hinds Binkley. She was married Nov. 28, 1922, in  Jefferson City, to Hugo Dawson, who died in January 1992.

She attended Pleasant Grove School near Eugene and Capitol Business College.

She was a member of the Eugene Christian Church and a homemaker.

A former Cole County Democratic Committeewoman for Clark Township, she was retired from the state Division of Finance.

Survivors include: two daughters, Norma Rosenow, Alma, Kan., and Aulma Alberts,  Jefferson City; one son, James Dawson, Eugene; three brothers, Mark Binkley and Mert Binkley, both of Eugene, and Arlie Binkley, Olean; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

One grandchild preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Eugene Christian Church. The Rev. David Armstrong will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, near Eugene.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of  Jefferson City, the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.

MACKLEY

Audrey Emma Lovell Mackley, 92, Fulton, died April 2, 1999, at her home.

She was born May 15, 1906, in Clinton, a daughter of Carl J. and Elizabeth Terrill Lovell. She was married April 23, 1932, in Carrollton, to Wayne Mackley, who died in 1959.

She owned and operated Pinecrest Motel and Skating Rink, Fulton, from 1965 to 1984. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Loves Park, Ill.

Survivors include: five grandchildren, Dean Mackley, state of Mississippi, Carl Mackley, Robert Mackley and Carla Mackley, all of Fulton, and David Mackley, state of North Carolina; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

One son, James Mackley, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

SCHELL

Phyllis F. Schell, 97,  Jefferson City, died March 31, 1999, at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged.

She was born Feb. 7, 1902, in Cherokee, Kan., a daughter of Lee and Brady Forney Farris. She was married Oct. 28, 1922, in  Jefferson City, to Richard A. Schell, who died Sept. 18, 1994.

A 1918 graduate of Simonsen High School, she was a homemaker. She worked for the state veterinarian at the Missouri Department of Agriculture for 23 years. She was a secretary at the Missouri House of Representatives and worked at Schell Construction Co., where she was a full partner, until 1984.

She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and the  Jefferson City Country Club.

Survivors include one son, James Allen Schell,  Jefferson City, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery. Msgr. Charles Patterson will officiate. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at the cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Buescher Memorial Home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph's Home for the Aged or to a charity of the donor's choice.
