REPPER

Wilbur Charles Repper, 75, Cole Camp, died Aug. 8, 2000, at his home.

He was born Oct. 21, 1924, in Otterville, a son of Otto and Elizabeth Zimmerschied Repper. He was married July 30, 1949, in Sedalia, to Rosena M. Fischer, who survives at the home.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, and also attended Hope Lutheran Church, Bonita Springs, Fla. He was a row crop farmer and a member of the Cole Camp Steam and Antique Tractor Club.

Other survivors include: four daughters, Linda Estes and Joyce Gruhn, both of Lincoln, Carol Scott,  Jefferson City, and Diane Cauwels, Grapevine, Texas ; one sister, Lucile Benson, Denver.; one brother, Orville Repper, Raytown; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Randal Ehrichs and the Rev. Todd Bunge will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran New Church Building Fund, Benton County Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.

BAUCOM

Merrill Baucom, 70, Eldon, died Aug. 8, 2000, in  Jefferson City.

Arrangements are incomplete at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

ALLEE

Richard Lee Allee, 44, California, died Aug. 9, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Aug. 31, 1955, in Kansas City, a son of Harold L. and Vera June Newkirk Allee. His parents survive in California.

A 1974 graduate of California High School, he was a construction worker at Mike Moore Construction Co., California. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, California.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Emily Christine Allee-Volkart and Olivia Lee Allee-Volkart, both of Russellville; and one brother, David R. Allee, California.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. David Nicholson will officiate. Burial will be in Sappington/Community Chapel Cemetery, near California.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

HOOK

Thomas Elwood Hook, 47, Lake Ozark, died Aug. 8, 2000, at his home.

Arrangements are incomplete at Rekus Funeral Home, Eldon.

GILPIN

Raymond F. Gilpin, 81, Holts Summit, died Aug. 9, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville.

McCLARY

Dorothy Mae "Dotty" McClary, 87, Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Fulton, died Aug. 7, 2000, at Myrtle Beach Manor.

She was born Nov. 9, 1912, in Mabank, Texas , a daughter of William F. and Marian Elizabeth Cornelius Zinnecker. She was married to Joseph Edward McClary, who died in 1986.

While she was a resident of Fulton, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church and taught at the Missouri School for the Deaf. In 1986, she moved to Charlotte, N.C., where she was a member of Avondale Presbyterian Church. She had been a resident of Myrtle Beach since 1996.

Survivors include: one son, E. Blain McClary, Pawleys Island, S.C.; one daughter, Cynthia McClary Dunzweiler, Darnestown, Md.; one sister, Fern Collins, Dallas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at noon Saturday in Callaway Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Cecil Culverhouse will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.

NATIONS

Services were today for Chester S. Nations, 77, Lancaster, Calif., formerly of Macks Creek, who died Aug. 7, 2000, at Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster.

He was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Macks Creek, a son of John and Sarah Eidson Nations. He was married in January 1950, in Bentonville, Ark., to Viola Mitchell, who survives at the home.

An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Purple Heart. He worked as a truck driver at Edwards Air Force Base for more than 20 years.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jerry Nations, Kimberling City, and John Nations, Bullhead City, Ariz.; one daughter, Brenda Nations, Lancaster; one brother, Tom Nations, Sedalia; one sister, Eunice Parks, Macks Creek; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services were in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Macks Creek. The Rev. Don Willis officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Macks Creek.

BURGER

Frances A. Burger, 95, California, Mo., died Aug. 11, 2000, in Columbia.

She was born April 7, 1905, near Jamestown, a daughter of John P. and Mary E. Geier Roedel. She was married Aug. 5, 1931, to Carl Burger, who died Feb. 10, 1985.

She was a homemaker and a clerk at Ben Franklin Store. She was the oldest member of Moniteau Advent United Church of Christ north of California, where she was a member of the Women's Guild, a Sunday School teacher and pianist for several years.

Survivors include: one son, Herschel Burger, Kansas City; one daughter, Alta Smith, Columbia; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Chester Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery, California.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to Missouri River Hospice, 3210 Bluff Creek Drive, Columbia, Mo. 65201 or Moniteau Advent United Church of Christ, 59349 Moniteau Church Road, Jamestown, Mo. 65046.

REYNOLDS

John William Reynolds, 62, Russellville, died Aug. 10, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Buescher Memorial Home.

SCHMITZ

Raymond John Schmitz, 78, Westphalia, died Aug. 11, 2000, at Westphalia Retirement Center.

He was born April 22, 1922, in  Jefferson City, a son of Frank H. and Josephine Redel Schmitz. He was married June 21, 1947, in Rich Fountain, to Martha J. Zeilman, who survives at the home.

He was a graduate of Westphalia High School and an Army veteran of World War II. He owned and operated the Westphalia Milling Company for 55 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia; Knights of Columbus Council 1173; and American Legion Post 544. He was a charter member of the Westphalia Lions Club.

Other survivors include: four sons, Harold Schmitz and Stanley Schmitz, both of Westphalia, James Schmitz, Rich Fountain, and Dr. Ralph Schmitz, Monett; two daughters, Barbara Fitzpatrick,  Jefferson City, and Mary Lea Singleton, Vienna; one brother, Urban Schmitz,  Jefferson City; one sister, Delores Mertens, Winter Park, Fla; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

COCHRAN

Dorothea Ruth Cochran, 88, Versailles, died Aug. 11, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.

Arrangements are pending at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

NASH

Lauren L. Nash, 82, Sunrise Beach, died Aug. 10, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

He was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Grantville, Kan., a son of Harry and Estelle Brook Nash. He was married July 15, 1961, to Helen L. Powers, who died July 15, 2000.

He worked 30 years for the AT and SF Railroad and was a member of the Local Carman Union where he served as treasurer and president for six years. He was active in the Super Chief Credit Union and served on its supervisory committee.

As president of the Capitol Chapter of the Credit Union, he chaired the State Credit Unions Convention, Wichita, Kan., for two years. For three years he served as Commissioner of Parks and Public Buildings, Topeka City Commission.

He retired in 1979. He was a member of the Hurricane Deck Lions Club, Over 55 Club and the Sunrise Beach Community Center.

Survivors include: one son, Ted Nash, Torrance, Calif.; two stepsons, Larry Reeder, York, Maine, and Thomas Reeder, Merriam, Kan; two stepdaughters, Pamela Cairns, Burke, Va., and Susan Talcott, Berkley, Calif.; one sister, Madge Inwood, Olpe, Kan.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter and one stepdaughter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the Hurricane Deck Lions Club.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
