FALTER

Irene Falter, 73, Freeburg, died Aug. 26, 2000, at Green Meadows Care Center, Linn.

She was born May 16, 1927, in Freeburg, a daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Holterman Talken. Her mother survives in Freeburg. She was married April 11, 1945, in Freeburg, to George Falter, who died April 26, 2000.

She was a homemaker and helped her husband with farming operations. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rev. Mike Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, and from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to Holy Family Church and School Memorial Fund or to Masses.

JONES

Annabelle Tucker Jones, 80,  Jefferson City, died Aug. 26, 2000, at the Friendship House at Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri.

She was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Harrison, Ark., a daughter of J.R. and Hazel Holden Tucker. She was married Feb. 1, 1940, in Dyersburg, Tenn., to C. Gene Jones, who died Aug. 24, 1982.

A resident of Central Missouri for the past five years, she graduated from high school in Harrison, and attended Conway State Teachers College, Jonesboro, Ark. She co-owned and co-operated a Rexall Drug Store in Tulsa, Okla., and then managed the catalog departments at Sears and J.C. Penney's department stores.

From 1970 to 1975 she co-owned and co-operated the Thunderbird Motel, Santa Fe, N.M. She was a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church and the Newcomers Club.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jean Gann,  Jefferson City; one son, Mike Jones, Dallas, Texas ; two sisters, Geraldine Peterson, Story City, Iowa, and Virginia Earnest, Harrison; one brother, James Tucker, Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Rebecca Sheets, died in 1985.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hickory Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Shane Crum will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Maple Wood Cemetery, Harrison.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Freeman Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Friendship House at Hospice of  Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri.

LOUDERBACK

Richard Frank Louderback, 71, Camdenton, died Aug. 25, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

He was born July 13, 1929, in Salem, a son of John R. and Alice Mildred Dedmon Louderback. He was married July 12, 1969, to Anna Marie Loretta Pranger, who survives at the home.

A Camdenton resident since 1958, he had lived in Vienna and Crystal City. He worked for Southwestern Belle for 31 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Communications Workers of America.

He was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Other survivors include: one son, Richard Louderback II, Camdenton; three daughters, Catherine Sorrell, Macks Creek, Mary Louderback, Springfield, and Juanita Allen, Ozark; three stepsons, Keith Dulle, Jim Dulle and Tom Dulle, all of Camdenton; three stepdaughters, Rita Dulle and Anita McDavis, both of Fayetteville, Ark., and Jonita Dulle, Columbia; 22 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The remains were cremated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.

PUTMAN

Mary W. Putman, 77, Osage Beach, died Aug. 25, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.

She was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Mansfield, La., a daughter of James and Alta Sloan Williams. She was married in 1944 to Bryan Putman, who died in 1984.

She was a graduate of the LSU School of Journalism and worked as a journalist for the Baton Rouge Advocate and the New Orleans Times-Picayune. She also was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Slade Putman, The Woodland, Texas ; one daughter, Diane Klug, Columbus, Neb.; and three grandsons.

Visitation and services will be from 3-5 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.

UTRECHT

Services were Sunday for Hubert F. "Joe" Utrecht, 85, Sparks, Nev., formerly of Koeltztown, who died Aug. 23, 2000, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital, Sparks.

He was born May 7, 1915, in Koeltztown, a son of John and Christine Holderman Utrecht. He was married to Myrtle M. Utrecht, who died Sept. 3, 1990.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he was employed as a Civil Service truck driver at the Naval Ammunition Depot, Hawthorne, Nev. A resident of Sparks since 1993, he lived in Hawthorne from 1942 to 1993.

He was a Catholic.

Survivors include: three daughters, Sandra Blancey, Sparks, and Judy Knable and Jan Maroney, Reno, Nev.; one brother, Fred Utrecht, Centertown; three sisters, Josephine Heckman, St. Thomas, Cecelia Griffin, Farmington, and Pauline Rackers,  Jefferson City; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Gunter's Funeral Home, Hawthorne. Private burial was in Hawthorne Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association of No. Nev., P.O. Box 6362, Reno, Nev. 89513, or to the American Cancer Society of Nevada, 712 Mill St., Reno, Nev. 89502.

WILSON

Eva L. Wilson, 89, Iberia, died Aug. 27, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born June 23, 1911, near Iberia, a daughter of Horatio and Cynthia Dodd Prater. She was married Sept. 13, 1950, in Bentonville, Ark., to Charles William Wilson, who died July 25, 1981.

A homemaker, she was a member of Iberia Church of the Nazarene for 74 years.

Survivors include: one son, Joe Prater, Eldon; one brother, Glen Prater, Elk Grove, Calif.; one sister, Emma Faldtz, Lincoln, Neb.; three grandchildren; one step grandson; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Iberia Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Henry Shelly will officiate. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, near Crocker.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.

Memorials are suggested to Iberia Church of the Nazarene.

HOWARD

David L. Howard, 61,  Jefferson City, died Aug. 27, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Buescher Memorial Home.

BEGLEY

Florence E. Begley, 94, Calistaga, Calif., died Aug. 27, 2000, at Osage Beach Health Care Center.

She was born July 16, 1906, in Covelo, Calif., a daughter of William and Laura Duncan Russell.

She worked as a doctor's assistant in California. A Baptist, she was a member of the garden club.

She is survived by one son, Russ Begley, Osage Beach.

Services will be at a later date in California. The body was cremated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.

BIERI

Marie Anna Elizabeth "Mary" Bieri, 96, California, died Aug. 27, 2000, at Moniteau Care Center.

She was born Feb. 13, 1904, in Moniteau County, a daughter of Christian and Rosa Wyss Haldiman. She was married Feb. 1, 1929, in California, to Frank F. Bieri, who died June 6, 1976.

She was a member of California United Church of Christ, the Women's Guild, Evangelines and the quilters, all of the church. She worked with the American Red Cross blood drive and at polling places during elections. A homemaker, she attended Union Sweetwater School.

Survivors include: five daughters, Esther Steinhauer, Springfield, Jean Sadler, St. Louis, Mable Scofield, Columbia, Dorothy Kirchoff, California, and Betty Wade, Holts Summit; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

One granddaughter preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at California United Church of Christ. The Rev. Gary Schulte will officiate. Burial will be in Evangelical Cemetery, California.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.

Memorials are suggested to California United Church of Christ, 101 N. Oak St., California, Mo. 65018; or the Sarbra Kara Bieri Scofield Scholarship in the medical dietetics unit at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.

KRAMP

Kevin Conrad Kramp, 10, Otterville, died Aug. 26, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.

He was born July 21, 1990, in Victorville, Calif., a son of Marty and Melissa Shough Kramp. His father and stepmother, Marty and Rena Kramp, survive in Otterville. His mother, Melissa Shough, survives in Glendale, Ariz.

A fifth-grader at Otterville School, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Otterville.

Other survivors include: three brothers, Marty Kramp II and Harley Kramp, both of Tipton, and Hawk Kramp, Glendale; one sister, Savannah Kramp, Glendale; two stepbrothers, Joshua Bertrand and Sammy Bertrand, both of Otterville; one stepsister, Angel Bertrand, Tipton; paternal grandmother Margie Marshall, Tipton; maternal grandparents Ken and Mary Shough, Glendale; and one step grandfather, Terry Humphrey, Eldon.

Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry Brock will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
