JOHNSON

Percy Edward Johnson, 45, Sierra Vista, Ariz., died Sept. 19, 2000, at his home.

He was born Feb. 11, 1955, in New Florence, a son of Floyd S. and Margaret Marie Galbreath Johnson. His mother survives in  Jefferson City. He was married Nov. 30, 1981, at Fort Leonard Wood, to Norma Denise Stevens, who died Nov. 21, 1998.

He was a 1974 graduate of Montgomery City High School. He served 20 years in the Army, retiring as a sergeant first class and maintenance supervisor in the motor division. He had been employed at Fort Huachuca Army Base since 1996.

He was a member of Apostolic Fellowship Church.

Other survivors include: two sons, Brian Stevens,  Jefferson City, and Percy "P.J." Johnson Jr., Sierra Vista; three brothers, Donald Johnson, Floyd Johnson and Richard Johnson, all of  Jefferson City; and five sisters, Gloria Seeney,  Jefferson City, Margaret Butler, Rolla, Sgt. Major Mable Marie Douglas, Korea, Loretta Ferguson, Dallas, and Mary Gonder, Huntsville, Ala.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Marion Mitchell will officiate. Graveside services, with military honors, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in  Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

O'BANNON

David Lee O'Bannon, 60, Gravois Mills, died Sept. 21, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.

He was born Jan. 10, 1940, in Urich, a son of James R. and Helen Lockner O'Bannon. His mother survives in Urich. He was married Oct. 18, 1975, to Billy A. Olmstead, who survives at the home.

He was a retired iron worker for Local 10, Kansas City, and later worked at the Family Center, Versailles. He was a 1957 graduate of Urich High Scott. He was a member of Urich Christian Church, the Elks Lodge, Sedalia and Laurie, and the Moose Lodge, Sedalia.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Ginger Rae Furrnell, Nashville, Tenn., Paula Spry, Warsaw, and Karen Ann Bridwell, Gravois Mills; one brother, Alan O'Bannon, Creighton; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

One son, Kevin Dale O'Bannon, preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia. The Rev. Bob Sanders will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. today at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

SENIOR

Fannie E. Senior, 100, Tipton, died Sept. 21, 2000, at Tipton Manor Nursing Home.

She was born June 5, 1900, a daughter of Eli and Clara Basinger Bucher. She was married Aug. 3, 1924, in California, to William B. Senior, who died May 25, 1982.

She was a homemaker and attended Hazel Dell School. She was a member of First Baptist Church, California.

Survivors include: two daughters, Marvelene Garber, Tipton, and Malverna Buchheim, Lecompton, Kan.; one son, William D. Senior, Harrisonville; two brothers, Elbert Senior and Delbert Senior, both of Springfield; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Two infants preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Greg Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in Sappington Community Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, California, or the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Tipton.

SHOEMAKER

Lloyd Dean Shoemaker, 80, Versailles, died Sept. 21, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

TEEPLE

Truman George Teeple, 84, Versailles, died Sept. 21, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born June 23, 1916, in Hancock, a son of James and Vivian Stokes Teeple. He was married Sept. 24, 1941, in Tuscumbia, to Frances C. Carroll, who survives at the home.

He was a retired farmer. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.

Other survivors include: one son, Garry Teeple, Columbia; two daughters, Shirley Kidwell, Fulton, and Barbara Gaw, Versailles; one brother, Glen Teeple, Rolla; and six grandchildren.

One grandson preceded him in death.

The remains were cremated. Services will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Behtel Mennonite Church or the Leukemia Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.

William N. "Bill" Birdsong, 76,  Jefferson City, died Sept. 27, 2000, at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Columbia.

Helen Birdsong, 75, Kansas City, formerly of Clarksburg, died Oct. 17, 1999, at Carondolet Manor, Kansas City.

Arrangements are incomplete at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.

Charline "Charlie" Bradshaw, 93, Eldon, died Sept. 27, 2000, in Eldon.

CHASEN
Linda M. Chasen, 54, California, died Sept. 27, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.

ENOWSKI
Jim Enowski, 53, Eldon, died Sept. 28, 2000, at his home.

GREEN
Glennon J. "Bob" Green, 77, St. Anthony, died Sept. 27, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

JEFFRIES
Raymond Allen Jeffries, 76, Brumley, died Sept. 28, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center.

MUELLER
Emil F. Mueller, 82,  Jefferson City, died Sept. 28, 2000, at Vencor Hospital, St. Louis.

ROBINSON
Gloria Robinson, Eldon, died Sept. 28, 2000, at University of Missouri Health Center, Columbia.

ROWDEN
Kyliee Elizabeth Rowden, infant daughter of Robert and Kimberly Roark Rowden, Eldon, died Sept. 27, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

THOMPSON
James T. Thompson, 78,  Jefferson City, died Sept. 29, 2000, at Oak View Living Center.

LEFFERT

Howard Lee Leffert, 46, Warrensburg, died Sept. 29, 2000, in Independence.

He was born Aug. 20, 1954, in Eldon, a son of Delmar Lee "Tuck" and Anita Laverne Blankenship Leffert, who survive in Eldon. He was married Aug. 2, 1991, in Miami, Okla., to Brenda Jo Barrette-Stoddard, who survives at the home.

He was a Wal-Mart mechanic in Warrensburg, and a member of the Olean Christian Church. He attended Liberty Baptist Church, Fayetteville.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Sarah Dawn Leffert, of the home; two stepsons, Thomas Stoddard and Anthony Stoddard, both of Holt; one brother, Steven Leffert, Eldon; and four sisters, Susan Rehagen, Holts Summit, Pamela Virgin, Katherine Seek and Jennifer Beard, all of Eldon.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Edwin Peeples and Bro. Jim Kruse will officiate. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery, Linn Creek.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.

ROBINSON

Gloria Koetting Robinson, 67, Eldon, died Sept. 28, 2000, at the University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia.

She was born March 23, 1933, in Versailles, a daughter of George and Gladys Bennett Koetting. She was married March 23, 1985, in  Jefferson City, to Jack Robinson, who survives at the home.

A 1951 graduate of Versailles High School, she was a hairstylist in Versailles and at Hamilton Towers,  Jefferson City. She was currently employed in the Morgan County Circuit Court Office as a clerk.

She was a member of Eldon United Methodist Church where she was active in card ministry.

Other survivors include: five daughters, Laura Hunter,  Jefferson City, Julia Bryant, Parkville, Jane Campbell, Fort Campbell, Ky., Jackie Witte, Stover, and Debra Finley, Columbia; two sisters, Mary White , Sedalia, and Georgia Lyles, Versailles; and 11 grandchildren.

One son, Donnan Anthony Hunter, and one daughter, Suzan Elaine Hunter, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Eldon United Methodist Church. The Rev. Fred Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles.

Memorials are suggested to Eldon United Methodist Church.

BARNARD

Bobby Lee Barnard, 70, Holts Summit, died Oct. 11, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 4, 1929, in  Jefferson City, a son of E. Chester and Meta Steinmetz Barnard. He was married March 27, 1947, in  Jefferson City, to M. Norma Hall, who died Nov. 12, 1976. He was married June 9, 1984, in Cedar City, to Velma Nichols Morris, who survives at the home.

A lifelong resident of Central Missouri, he attended  Jefferson City public schools. He worked at International Shoe Company for 24 years, then owned and operated several service stations in the  Jefferson City area. He worked for Westinghouse and then for A.B.B. from 1971 until retiring in 1992.

Other survivors include: three sons, Richard L. Barnard,  Jefferson City, Larry W. Barnard, Henley, and Shawn D. Reno, New Bloomfield; one daughter, Kathy S. Luebbert, Bellechase, La.; two stepsons, Rick L. Morris and Keith A. Morris, both of Holts Summit; one stepdaughter, Debbie Reynolds, Holts Summit; three sisters, Patsy Greenway, Barnett, Joan Holliday,  Jefferson City, and Juanita Melton, Maryville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One stepdaughter, Pamela Sue Carrender, died June 7, 1999.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Joseph Skiles will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4:30-7:30 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the Solid Rock Family Church Building Fund.

EIKERMANN

Milton Adolph Eikermann, 89,  Jefferson City, died Oct. 12, 2000, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

He was born Feb. 14, 1911, in Gasconade County, a son of William H. and Minnie Ruegge Eikermann. He was married April 5, 1933, in Hope, to Mildred Hummert, who died July 11, 1948. He was married June 5, 1949, in Hope, to Irma Ruth Cramer, who survives at the home.

He attended school in Gasconade County and was a member of Zion St. Peters United Church of Christ, Pershing. He lived most of his life in Gasconade County, where he farmed and did custom farm work. He also worked at Hemco Company, Hermann, and at Westinghouse as a three-phase assembler for 10 years until his retirement.

Other survivors include: one son, Stanley Dale Eikermann, Holts Summit; two daughters, Dixie Dean Rodeman,  Jefferson City, and Betty Jean Coate, state of Kansas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.

One daughter, Gladys Eikermann, died in 1946. One son, Eugene Eikermann, died in 1948.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion St. Peters United Church of Christ. The Rev. Bruce Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, the Zion St. Peters United Church of Christ Cemetery Fund or St. Marys Home Health Care.
