REDEL
Elizabeth Redel, 93, Jefferson City, died Sept. 6, 2000, at Oak View Living Center.
She was born May 31, 1907, in Freeburg, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Welschmeyer Laubert. She was married to Aloysius G. Redel, who died in 1950.
Survivors include two daughters, Lidvina Redel and Delores Redel, both of Jefferson City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. The Rev. Michael Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Church Cemetery, Freeburg.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday.
SHAW
David Eugene Shaw, 45, Jefferson City, died Sept. 5, 2000, at his home.
Arrangements are incomplete at Buescher Memorial Home.
JERKINS
Raymond John Jerkins, 79, Jefferson City, died Sept. 6, 2000, at Moniteau Care Center, California.
He was born March 24, 1921, in Hamilton, Iowa, a son of John M. and Mable Amelia Toy Jerkins. He was married April 9, 1960, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Harriet Jane Stambach, who died Feb. 10, 1994.
A 1939 graduate of Knoxville High School, Knoxville, Iowa, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for Montgomery Ward from 1967 to 1981. He worked for St. Martin's Catholic Church from 1986 to 1989 and from 1991 to 1994.
He was a member of American Legion Post 5.
Survivors include: one son, Joseph Ray Jerkins, Jefferson City; one brother, William Joseph Jerkins, Knoxville, Iowa; and one sister, Geraldine "Jerri" Winters, Knoxville, Iowa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. Ed Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

LAGE
Hilda Margaret Lage, 86, Jefferson City, died Sept. 6, 2000, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born July 1, 1914, in Taos, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Schulte Toebben. She was married Feb. 28, 1933, in Taos, to Anton Bernard Lage, who died Sept. 20, 1995.
A homemaker, she helped her husband farm in the Taos area. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, and St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include: three daughters, Helen Kempker, Lorine Kempker and Dorthy Wittkop, all of Taos; one son, Thomas A. Lage, Taos; 20 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. J. David Maher will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Taos.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier School or Masses.
FALTER
Theresia Falter, 94, Freeburg, died Sept. 7, 2000, at Oakview Living Center, Jefferson City.
She was born April 16, 1906, in Vienna, a daughter of Ulrich and Evelyn Fennessey Reichel. She was married Nov. 7, 1928, in Vienna, to William Falter, who died May 22, 1974.
A homemaker, she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg.
Survivors include: two sons, Anthony Falter, Warrenton, and Benedict Falter, Holts Summit; three daughters, Evelyn Bain, Bourbon, Veronica Sandbothe, Bridgeton, and Laura Wieberg, Holts Summit; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Rita Wulff, died Nov. 26, 1994, and one infant son, Joseph Falter, died in 1940.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rev. Mike Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m., and from 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
Memorials are suggested to the Holy Family Church and School Memorial Fund.
GOLDEN
Jermaine Patrick Golden, 3-month-old son of Elaine Werner and Patrick Golden, Gravois Mills, died Sept. 4, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center.
Other survivors include: maternal grandparents Laverne Cross and Richard Werner, both of Gravois Mills; paternal grandparents Margaret Hood, Kansas City, and Fred Golden, Lincoln, Neb.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Westlake Christian Church, Laurie. The Rev. Jack Daniel will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
GREEN
Willard "Chip" Green, 88, Ashland, died Aug. 8, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born Aug. 31, 1912, in Shackelford, a son of Richard H. and Bertha N. Ridgeway Green. He was married Feb. 19, 1936, to Flora Mae Wood. He was married in 1966 to Beulah M. Casper. He was married Jan. 8, 1982, to Flora Nichols, who survives at the home.
He worked as a bus driver for the Greyhound Bus Company and as a trucker driver for the P.I.E. Trucking Company.
He was a member of the Ashland Masonic Lodge 156 AF and AM, Columbia York Rite Bodies, Moolah Temple Shrine, Tiger Shrine Club, Aleppo Grotto, Moose Lodge Moberly 776, Sword of Bunker Hill Order 73, International Association of Turtles and Ashland Senior Center.
Other survivors include: three stepsons, Edward A. Nichols, Eugene, Morris Nichols and Berry Nichols, both of Ashland; one daughter, Marcia A. Sorrells, Rocky Mount; one stepdaughter, Gloria Jean Nichols, Ashland; four grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Memorials are suggested to Englewood Community Center, Ashland Senior Center or the Tiger Shrine Club.
Arrangements were under the direction of Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland.
TERRY
George William Terry, 76, Eldon, died Sept. 8, 2000, in Eldon.
He was born Dec. 16, 1923, in Gladstone, a son of William C. and Belvia L. McKinney Terry. He was married May 25, 1996, in Eldon, to Jean A. Moore Bever, who survives at the home.
He attended school in Eldon and the Ninth Street Christian Church. He was a member of Eldon VFW Post 2442 and Teamsters Local 541.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked in road construction and as a real estate agent.
Other survivors include: one son, Roy A. Terry, Liberty; two stepdaughters, Patti J. Raynor, Eldon, and Kelly J. Bever Chritton, Sedalia; one stepson, Michael A. Bever, Eldon; one brother, Ralph Terry, Florence; one sister, Margaret Dorman, Kansas City; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One grandson preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Tom Farrington will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Missouri River Hospice, Columbia.
WILLIAMS
Myron R. Williams, 54, Brisbane, Australia, died Aug. 23, 2000, in Brisbane.
He was born Aug. 5, 1946, a son of Lige J. and Louise Hachler Williams. His father survives in Edwardsville, Kan. He was married to Noela Williams, who survives at the home.
He was a graduate of Versailles High School and Murray State University, Murray, Ky. He was a life member of VFW Post No. 5902, Gravois Mills. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an occupational health and safety consultant.
He was cremated.
GARCIA
Ruth E. Garcia, 62, California, died Sept. 8, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City.
She was born Sept. 11, 1937, in St. Louis, the daughter of Dorothy Grace Hoppman.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one son, Michael Paul Garcia, California; one daughter, Anita Lynn Pace, California; one brother, William Henry Terpening, California; two sisters, Carolyn Hawks, Eldon, and Rita Gebhart, Fenton; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Bell, in 1973.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, with the Rev. Ken Mathes officiating. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery near Russellville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the California Nutrition Center Meals on Wheels.
