SCHROER
Amy Elizabeth Schroer, 15, Jefferson City, died Sept. 16, 2000, at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born April 19, 1985, in Crystal City, a daughter of Joseph William and Christina Fay Russell Schroer, who survive at the home.
A sophomore at Jefferson City High School, she was a member of the J.C. Players. She was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church, where she was active in the church youth group, was a referee for the Union Hill Instructional League and played on the church basketball team.
Survivors include: one sister, Suzanne Kay Schroer of the home; one brother, Devon Joseph Schroer of the home; and maternal grandparents, Lester and Mary Ann Schroer of Potosi.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Union Hill Baptist Church. Dr. David Higgs, Dr. James Preston and the Rev. Bobby Albers will officiate. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Red Bud Memorial Gardens, Potosi.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Houser-Millard Holts Summit Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to the Sports Crusaders, in care of Union Hill Baptist Church.
KLINGAMAN
Marsha Lynn Reed Klingaman, 61, Jefferson City, died Sept. 16, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born June 30, 1939, in Wichita Falls, Kan., a daughter of Perry and Lucilla Opal Reed. She was married April 28, 1980, in Albuquerque, to Robert D. Klingaman, who survives at the home.
A 1958 graduate of Jefferson City High School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was active in various church organizations.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Stacey Lynn Proctor, Jefferson City; one brother, Ted G. Reed, Jefferson City; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Maxwell will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home.

RICE
Mae L. Rice, 71, Jefferson City, died Sept. 15, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Julius C. and Katherine M. Kelpe Phelps. She was married March 11, 1960, in Sedalia, to Kenneth L. Rice, who died Aug. 27, 1988.
A resident of the Jefferson City area for most of her life, she graduated from Jefferson City High School and attended Jefferson City Junior College. She served in the Women's Army Corps during the Korean War.
She worked at the Jefferson City Post Office for many years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, Zephyrhills, Fla.
Survivors include: two stepsons, Daniel Rice and David Rice, both of Jefferson City; one stepdaughter, Linda Williamson, Jefferson City; one sister, Margaret Johnson, Montgomery City; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Mortuary. Graveside services, with military honors, will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.

KNAUP
John H. Knaup, 90, Jefferson City, died Sept. 17, 2000, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 2, 1909, in Jefferson City, a son of Herman and Dean Kieselbach Knaup. He was married May 25, 1945, in Centerville, to Lucille I. Ruble, who survives at the home.
He attended Jefferson City schools and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed in the bridge division of the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department for 32 years until 1973. He then worked as a painter at Charles E. Still Hospital for 13 years until his retirement in 1995.
He was a member of Central United Church of Christ.
Other survivors include: one son, John Knaup, California; one daughter, Mary Kay Belongia, Kenosha, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Stephen Buchholz will officiate. Burial will be in Elston Cemetery, Elston.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.

BROKER
Services were Saturday for Eugene S. Broker Sr., 75, Somers Point, N.J., formerly of Frankenstein, who died Sept. 13, 2000.
He was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Frankenstein, a son of Michael and Anna Broker. He was married to Doris Broker, who preceded him in death. He was married to Emmie Broker, who survives at the home.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church, Somers Point, and the Knights of Columbus Council 3500, Egg Harbor City, N.J., where he was past grand knight.
A former resident of Egg Harbor City, he was a member of the Upper Township Rescue Squad, where he served as president for one term. He had been a member of St. Nicholas RC Church and other local organizations.
Other survivors include: five daughters, Betty Ann Rundio, Mullica Township, N.J., Mary Lou Senn, Egg Harbor City, Cathy Eicholtz, state of Florida, Jeanne Bolton, state of Missouri, and Susan Bright, Cape May, N.J.; one son, Eugene Broker Jr., Peterburg, N.J.; eight stepchildren; three brothers, Joseph Broker, Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, Vincent Broker, Linn, and Michael Broker Jr., Lohman; one sister, Mary Ann Kremer, Frankenstein; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
One son, Michael Broker, preceded him in death.
Services were at St. Joseph's RC Church. Burial was in Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home, Milltown, N.J.
HYATT
Harold E. Hyatt, 71, Gravois Mills, died Sept. 15, 2000, at Boone Health Center, Columbia.
He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Kansas City, Kan., a son of Harold C. and Gertrude M. Walters Hyatt. His mother, Gertrude Bell, survives in Lexington.
He was tool and die maker for UNISYS Corp., Oceanside, Calif., until his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Oceanside, Arart Shrine Temple, Valley of Orient Scottish Rite of Missouri, Kansas City, and the Horse Shoe Pitchers Club.
He was active in community affairs.
Other survivors include: one son, Harold K. Hyatt, Camdenton; one daughter, Sherri M. Hyatt, Gravois Mills; one sister, Bobi Lesher, Gravois Mills; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie. Burial will be at a later date in Garber Memorial Cemetery, Laurie.
Memorials are suggested to the Horse Shoe Pitchers Club.
EDMONDSON
Barbara Lee Edmondson, 82, Overland Park, Kan., formerly of Barnett, died Sept. 16, 2000, in Kansas City.
She was born Jan. 29, 1918, in Barnett, a daughter of John R. and Eunice Etter Edmondson.
She lived in Barnett until moving to Overland Park two years ago. She worked as a clerk for the state of Missouri for 25 years before retiring.
She was a member of Barnett Christian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include two sisters, Carol Edmondson and Lenora Atkins, both of Overland Park, and one brother, Bob Edmondson, Sedalia.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Pastor Jimmy Kruse will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to Barnett Christian Church.
CULLY
Virginia Shaw Cully, 79, Columbia, died Sept. 16, 2000, at her home.
She was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Belchertown, a daughter of Bertram and Clarinda Ketchen Shaw. She was married Aug. 29, 1940, in Belchertown, to Brook Cully, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the International Community Church, Columbia.
Survivors include: two daughters, Elizabeth Cully, Columbia, and Marjorie Babb, Jefferson City; one son, Wayne Cully, Albany; one sister, Eleanor Woodard, Leveratt, Mass.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bunceton Masonic Cemetery. Pastor Craig Colbert will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer Funeral Home, Pilot Grove.
CASADA
Neal F. Casada, 67, Neosho, formerly of Jefferson City, died Sept. 16, 2000, at Freeman Neosho Hospital, Neosho.
He was born June 3, 1933, in Anderson, a son of Samuel H. and Bertha Pearl Croft Casada.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he worked as a helicopter mechanic for the Missouri Air National Guard until his retirement in 1975. He was a Baptist and a past member of the Kiwanis Club, California.
Survivors include: two sons, Scott Casada, Jefferson City, and Steven Casada, Park Hills; one brother, Robert Casada, Richland, Miss.; one sister, Nellie Chapman, Grove, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. The Rev. Ronnie Tosh will officiate. Burial will be in Peace Valley Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.
