RIPPETO
Chloe May Crane Rippeto, 88, Columbia, formerly of Jefferson City, died Sept. 25, 2000, at Columbia Regional Hospital.
She was born Feb. 12, 1912, a daughter of Frederick A. and Leona Ellen Nichols Crane. She was married Sept. 22, 1928, to Willie Franklin Rippeto, who preceded her in death.
She worked for 22 years as an LPN at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, retiring in 1972. She joined End-Time-Handmaiden Ministries in 1977, ministering 10 years to prisoners in Missouri and moving to Jefferson City. After retiring from prison work, she moved to New Mexico for four years and then returned to Columbia. She was active in Women's Aglow.
Survivors include: two sons, Archie Rippeto, St. Charles, and Tom Rippeto, Peoria, Ill.; three daughters, Patricia Pafford and Judy Perkins, both of Columbia, and Glenda Moss, Austin, Texas ; two sisters, Louise Hunt, Columbia, and Trudy Barnes, Centralia; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
One son, Donald Rippeto, and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Goshen Primitive Baptist Church, Hartsburg. Tommy Rippeto will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland.
Memorials are suggested to the Volunteer Ministry Department at the Missouri State Correction Facility, Jefferson City.
LOETHEN
Leona Loethen, 87, St. Thomas, died Sept. 27, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 23, 1913, in Argyle, a daughter of Frank and Catherine Hoeller Wieberg. She was married June 27, 1934, in Argyle, to August Raymond Loethen, who died June 29, 1962.
She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in St. Thomas, and the St. Thomas Sewing Circle.
Survivors include: one son, Jerome Loethen, Jefferson City; one daughter, Patricia Loethen, St. Thomas; five brothers, Cornelius Wieberg, Groom, Texas , Robert Wieberg, St. Ann, Mike Wieberg, Jefferson City, Alfred Wieberg, Westphalia, and Frank Wieberg, Argyle; three sisters, Emma Meisel, St. Thomas, Christine Groner, St. Elizabeth, and Marie Cox, Newton, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
One son, Donald Frank Loethen, died June 23, 1984.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The Rev. Don Antweiler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:30-8 p.m. today at the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus Hall, with a senior citizens rosary at 4 p.m. and a wake service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas the Apostle School.

BAUMHOER
Pauline A. Baumhoer, 91, Mexico, died Sept. 27, 2000, at Mexico Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 4, 1909, in Rich Fountain, a daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Dill Boehm. She was married to Ben Baumhoer, who died July 9, 1960.
She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son, Ralph Baumhoer, Mexico, and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Freeburg. The Rev. Allan Stetz will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Arnold Funeral Home, Mexico, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
GIBSON
Della Isabelle Sheley Gibson, 75, Jefferson City, died Sept. 25, 2000, at Oak View Living Center.
She was born Jan. 1, 1925, in Mexico, a daughter of Omar A. and Clara L. Myers Sheley.
A lifelong resident of central Missouri, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include: three sons, Peter Gibson and Jay Phillips, both of Jefferson City, and Paul Fowler, Holts Summit; one daughter, Judith Snow, state of California; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private services will be conducted.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
JACKSON
Lewis Perry Jackson, 94, Stover, died Sept. 26, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born March 20, 1906, in Kansas City, a son of John D. and Mary Marjory McQuaid Jackson. He was married May 27, 1926, to Mary Olive Edwards, who died Jan. 22, 1984. He was married Oct. 22, 1984, to Iris Irene Willis, who died Nov. 10, 1992.
He was a retired truck driver and self-employed contractor. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include: three daughters, Helen M. Barbour and Mary Elaine Drury, both of Stover, and Shari L. Rowles, Versailles; one stepson, Kenneth M. Willis, state of Florida; two stepdaughters, Ina Urness, Versailles, and Billie Wright, Independence; one sister, Frances Lenore Litten, San Bernardino, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
MARLER
Owen "Russ" Marler, 64, Kaiser, died Sept. 27, 2000, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born June 28, 1936, in Marissa, Ill., a son of Gilliam and Minnie Davis Marler.
He was a Marine veteran.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert Nelson, Lebanon, Ill., and Russell Marler, Fort Benning, Ga.; two daughters, Shauna Marler and Shelia Ash, both of Kaiser; two brothers, Joe Eyman, Dixon, and David Marler, Redbud, Ill.; one sister, Juanita Stein, Fayetteville, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Jim McGowin will officiate. Burial will be in Rodden Cemetery near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.
Memorials are suggested to the Russell Marler Memorial Fund.
PARMAN
Hobert D. Parman, 80, Ashland, died Sept. 27, 2000, at Ashland Healthcare.
He was born Sept. 21, 1920, in Rochester, Ind., a son of Alexander and Ordelia O'Dell Parman. He was married Jan. 4, 1944, in Fulton, Ind., to Mary Lee Walker, who survives.
He worked as a carpenter for Gary Naught Construction, and was a member of Carpenter's Local 1925 in Columbia. He was a member of Living Faith Church in Ashland. He coached youth baseball for the Optimist Club in Columbia. He had lived in Pittsburg, Mo.
Other survivors include: four daughters, JoAnn Sapp, Columbia, Penny Martie, Ashland, Donna Perkins, Pittsburg, and Deborah Melvin, Hartsburg; three sisters, June Smith, Logansport, Ind., Pauline Briney, South Bend, Ind., and Mary Katherine Walker, Delphi, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
One son preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. Pastor Fred Martie will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday.

WUNDERLICH
Richard Paul Wunderlich Jr., 61, Stover, died Sept. 26, 2000, at his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1939, in St. Louis, a son of Richard P. Sr. and Minnie Elma Leslie Wunderlich. His stepmother, Agnes Wunderlich, survives in Kirkwood.
He was a lineman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and an automobile mechanic. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include: one daughter, Laurie Amadeo, Gladstone; one son, Jeffrey Paul Jackson, Olathe, Kan.; and one brother, James R. Wunderlich.
The remains will be cremated.
